Dark Souls 2 Old Bosses

These are the notes for all bosses with hexes before DLC came out for Dark Souls 2.

- Pick cleric class, start with Healing Wares
- Run to Majula, talk to the Emerald Herald (Hit X on her and then run off, no standing around)
- Light the bonfire
- Kill Maughlin for his armor
- Head towards dragon rider
- Put on Tseldora set as gate is opening
 Kill Dragon Rider with fall off strats
- Buy Lightning Spear from Licia
- Knock her off the edge, rest at the bonfire to get her loot to appear and grab it
- Attune Lightning spear, warp to Majula

- Level up 21 FTH
- Go towards cardinal tower bonfire
- Pop Dragonrider Soul as that one door in your way opens slowly
- Pick up the buckler because parrying with your hand suuuuuucks
- Light or rest at Cardinal Tower Bonfire
- Buy Saints Hood, 4 firebombs and the blacksmith key
- Kill Melentia with 2 firebombs
- Use firebomb to unlock shortcut
- Put on silver ring, saints hood and clerics sacred chime
- IMPORTANT Put your Tseldora cap on after killing the boss for more souls
 Beat up Last Giant with lightning spear

- Take elevator back up, pop soul on elevator
 Parry, ballista and lob a firebomb to kill Pursuer
- Take eagle ride, warp back to Majula

- Level up 16 ATU, 13 INT, 25 FTH
- Unlock blacksmith
- Head towards Huntsmans Copse
- Pop Pursuer Soul as the contraption rotates as well as put on the Saints Hood
- Youll be using LS to kill the dude who jumps down by the lever, and clerics sacred chime, no need for Idols Chime yet
- Pick up Rogue Water (first corpse loot after the contraption)
- Buy Archdrake Staff, Resonant Soul, Great Resonant Soul from Felkin
- Attune Resonant Soul at bonfire under bridge (not at the one after Felkin)
- Put your Tseldora cap on after killing the boss for more souls
 Kill skeleton lords with resonant soul and your clerics sacred chime

- Pop skelly lord soul while waiting for the bridge as well as...
- Put on your Idols Chime, from now on use the Idols Chime for hexes and the staring one for miracles
- Buy Soul Appease from Ore Lady, TALK to her to send her back to Majula
- Attune GRS and Soul Appease at the bonfire next to her, warp back to Majula
- Buy cat ring, 10 bones, and like 8 alluring skulls
- Head down the well
- Put your Tseldora cap on after killing the boss for more souls
 Kill Royal Rat Vanguard with Soul Appease / GRS (last time you need to put your cap on)

- Pick up the Branch of Yore on way to Rotten (life gems if you feel you need em)
- REST at first bonfire in Black Gulch
- Attune GRS and LS (lightning spear)
- Grab Scraps of Life (in front of first worm)
- Kill the giants that drop forgotten Key, bone back
? You can kill one giant then quit out, probably faster, needs testing
- Talk to Abyss NPC, bone back

- Warp to Majula
- Level up 20 INT (if for some reason you can't afford 20 you can pop rat vanguard soul but you should be able to get it now)
- Head towards shaded woods
- DON'T pick up the homeward bones by Benhart
- Unpetrify pyro lady
- You can kill dudes here with lightning spear for some souls while the door opens
- Take crossroads bonfire, head through misty woods
- Pick up Clear Bluestone Ring +1 in misty woods (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdHvGgEAfhg)
- Talk to Abyss NPC run out of cave
- Light bonfire in shaded ruins
- Warp to forked road

- Head towards Drangleic Castle
? You can LS the poison dudes if you want
- Do shrine of winter skip with air walking
- Kill lizard on way to castle for chunks/slab
- Run away and pop Rat Vanguard soul while drangleic gates open
- Rest at first bonfire in Castle
- Talk to Abyss NPC (farthest left door in room with many doors that need enemies killed next to them to open)
- Join covenant and put on Abyss Ring (extra hex damage wooo)
- Pick up soul of a hero under the door if you need souls for GRS
 Murder Dragon Riders

- Rest at bonfire, grab Caithas Chime, air walk into the mirror knight room.
 Murder Mirror Knight

- Warp back to Majula
- Buy 6 titanite shards and 6 large titanite shards from ore lady
- Level up your Caithas to +8
- Pick up the bow in the chest next to the blacksmith
- Level up 20 ATU, then towards 30 INT/FTH
- Attune GRS and RS
- Warp back to Shrine of Amana
- Pick up the 3 crimson waters in the chest
 Murder Demon of Song

- Pop souls on elevator
- Take the second bonfire in the crypt
- Attune GRS, LS and Scraps of life
 Murder Garl Vinland (Velstadt) with GRS, use scraps when he buffs (so you don't need to use a herb)

- Warp to Harvest Valley
- Do fancy oob skip
 Kill Covetous Demon

- Pop your biggest soul after killing him (if you can pop 2 that would be even better)
- Warp to Majula
- Buy all of ore ladys titanite shards, 6 large titanite shards, 9 titanite chunks and Dead Again
- Buy 2 iron arrows and 2 titanite shards from the blacksmith
- Upgrade both your Caithas Chime to +10 and Clerics Sacred Chime to +9
- Level up 25 ATU, then towards 30 FTH (but leave 15k souls)
- Attune GRS, RS and LS
- Warp to Drangleic castle
- Buy 2 Ascetics from Gandalf
- Go into darklurker dungeon, do air walk to darklurker fight (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jKD381DobM)
 Kill Darklurker really early because we can

- Bone Back after killing him, don't walk out
- Warp to shaded ruins
- Attune GRS, Dead again and Scraps
 Kill Scorpion Lady

- Equip the archdrake staff
 Kill Royal Rat Authority with Scraps of Life / Dead Again

 Kill the Prowling Magus with scraps, binoboosting and GRS (you need to practice this, just as fast if not faster than dark fog)

- Take the staff off
- Attune GRS, RS and Scraps if you want, you can probably skip this bonfire with a herb or 2
 Kill Freja, bone back

- Drop on the elevator railings, to get down faster down to...
- Shoot the bell and do the fancy skip
 Kill Flexile Sentry, bone back

- You can pop 2-3 souls while bridge is going down
 Murder Old Dragonslayer, bone back

- Attune GRS, RS and Scraps of life
 Kill Medusa lady

- You can pop a lot of souls on that long long elevator
 Murder Smelter Demon (cast 2 GRS, dodge, GRS, walk next to him cast 2 scraps, finish off with GRS spam)

- Bone back and air walk to next boss if you're good at that
 Kill Old Iron King

- Warp to Majula
- Level up 30/29 INT/FTH, 50 ATU, rest into END/VIT?
- Attune GRS, RS, and scraps and lightning spear
- Warp to forked road
 Murder Guardian Dragon

- Pick up the feather and use that from now on (just talk to her once and walk away I think that should work, if it doesn't just mash the conversation REALLY REALLY fast)
 Murder Ancient Dragon then Murder him some more

- Warp to Black Gulch first bonfire
 Kill The Rotten Rotten

- Feather back
- Ascetic this bonfire
- Kill giants for soul of a giant, feather back
- Ascetic this bonfire again
- Kill giants for soul of a giant again and feather back
 Murder Giant Lord

 Kill Vendrick

- Warp to Lost Bastille
- Do fancy air walking
 Kill Gargoyles

- Feather back
 Go kill Ruin Sentinels

- Feather back
- Air walk to salt fort
 Kill Lost Sinner

 Murder Executioners Chariot

 Murder Those super EZ Throne Watchers (super easy)
