Taylor:		Oh, I was thinking that I should become proficient in the bow, like Norman.
		They're an effective means to defeat the enemy at a distance, and if you
		know what you're doing, you'll be much likelier to hit enemies' vitals.
Gideon:		Vitals? You mean, like the jugulars. For effective killing?
Taylor:		I... guess?
Gideon:		Haw! That is why I have this chainblade! It cuts the enemy everything!

		part of Jackson Springs. He's a pretty cool guy.
Vanessa:	Hmm, I also went to Teakwood. And North High. I've been your senior this
		entire time and we've never met?
Norman:		It would seem so. Rather, Matthias tells me that he's seen you before, but
		never got around to talking to you.
Vanessa:	Oh, really?
Norman:		But of course. He said that you were probably out of his league then.
Vanessa:	Ha, ha...

Chantelise:	You must work more on your facial hair. It's quite inadequate.

		I have three dump stats, but I'll never tell you what they are.

		and dismayed that you would not have come to this conclusion.

Norman:		Oh, I see. You don't usually wear hats, ever, I notice. I wonder why...?
Matthias:	Because I don't like wearing hats.

Matthias:	Well, I mean, I guess I did, kind of, have a crush on her a couple
		of years ago. But it's not like that means anything now!

Johnathan:	Yes! I know lots about talking with girls, if you understand.
Matthias:	(I understand that talking is probably about all you do...)

Norman:		So you're like her secretary, are you?
Darius:		That's a harsh way of putting it. I merely take calls for her. Field
		paperwork. Redirect people wanting to see her. The like.
Norman:		I collect that you also take care of most of her duties at the library?
Darius:		Oh, that too. Only a couple of minor things that she doesn't care for-
		organizing books, picking up trash, reading to children.
Norman:		You also clean her office?
Darius:		Yes.
Norman:		And you also do most of the cataloging and databasing.
Darius:		Mm-hmm.
		[beat]
Norman:		What is it, exactly, that Vanessa does?
Darius:		[Smile] Get paid.
Norman:		[Sweatdrop] I... I see.
Norman:		I understand that the shift in environment from the library to Vis Nova
		have done next to nothing to your deference to her.
Darius:		[Question] ...No? I don't think so. But why do you ask?
Norman:		I intend to test a hypothesis. Now, see, I want to know about how
		operational Vanessa will remain if you were to go on vacation for a
		week.
Norman:		How much do you want?
Darius:		Well, it'd have to make up for the time that I spend gone. So, for a
		week, that'd be 400 dollars, minimum.
Norman:		[Shocked] Never mind.

Taylor:		Gosh, she's so strong.
Garrett:	Who, Vanessa? Yeah, I guess.
Taylor:		Well... she knows her way around magic better than we do, doesn't she?
Garrett:	Like, earth, wind, and fire, sure.
Taylor:		I wish I could be about as effective.
Garrett:	Naw, you do fine.

Garrett:	Totally! She can't heal to save her life.
