>You had been living in Ponyville for 4 years now and only a month out of that time were you still human.
>You were more or less "home schooled" meaning twilight only taught equestrian history, and writing to you; The latter being the most difficult to grasp due to the full retard of there alphabet.
>Most of the day outside your tutoring you were helping Twilight
>As for friends you only had...well 4 friends. Spike and the Cutie mark Crusaders, the former of which was currently sitting in your room watching a ponified version of Gurren Lagann with you.


>"MY DRILL IS THE ONE THAT CREATES THE HEAVENS" the pony stand in for Simon roared on the TV as the 2 galaxy sized mechs closed for the ending sequence.
>You were standing on your hind hooves hopping a little with a grin from ear to ear as you relived all those feels from your favorite (albeit pony version) anime. you think you squeed a little.
>Spike sitting on the edge of your bed, was leaning so far forward he risked falling from the bed while biting his claws as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann was ripped to pieces as the breakdown sequence started.
>The sequence continued with solario day blaring through the speakers as Gurren threw Lagann at the anti-spiral, when it all stopped.

>Spike fell from the bed in a heap as you fell onto your own flanks mouth agape.
"w-what happened"
>You Stammered as you stared in disbelief at the black TV in-front of you.
>Spike starring with a similar expression had his lower jaw trembling trying to form words that wouldn't come out. he looked on the verge of tears.

>You frantically pull the covers off your bed looking for the remote.
"Spike! quick get up we need to find the remote "
>You say as he picked himself back onto his feet looking through bedding you threw to the floor for the remote.
>The thought that you could just manually turn the TV back on didn't occur to either of you.
>"Its not here Anon!" He cried back to you "Ive searched it over twice now"
"Check under the bed"
>You sprang from the bed over to the tv, as he dove under the bed

"Dammit, it was right here a second ago"

>You and spike both look to the new presence in the room with what may as well be the holy grail grasped in her magic.

"Please Twilight we need to finish the show we only have like 20 minutes left"

>She had a point you did kinda blow her off there.
>On the other hoof it was the last 15 minutes of the hypest anime and Spikes experience was probably ruined.

>The 2 of you were making your way through the halls of twilight's castle, It was pretty late out and the only light available was that of the moon through the various windows.
>You figure it wouldn't hurt to try to use some the magic Twiggles taught you to not trip over yourself in the dark.
>Closing your eyes you imagined a bright light, concentrating on the light you mentally moved the thought to your horn which began to glow quite brightly.

>After a few minutes of the 2 of you making your way silently through the crystalline castle, you approached the staircase to the dreaded basement which today seemed darker than usual.
>Or because you've never been down here this late, either way kinda creepy.
>"Ugh I hate this place, makes me wish we still had the tree"
"Yeah its got a certain quality to it...did you guys even have basement in the tree?"
>You were trying to delay the inevitable.
>"no it was just the ground floor, I mean after all it was just a tree"
>He shrugged following your gaze into the dark pit below.
>You both waited staring into the darkness for a few more minutes before you nervously began your descent.
>He was shivering as he followed you down, horn lighting the way.
>Something didn't feel right.

>Reaching the bottom you let out the breath you had been holding when you realized the basement wasn't as dark as you thought it was.

>Maybe your condition was starting to get to you.
>Was 4 years enough for you to start to lose yourself?
>You dismissed these thoughts focusing on the task at hand.
>The boxes you were sent to organize laid in a heap before you.
>Several cardboard boxes as well as storage trunks, seemed to clutter the square basement.
>20 minutes your ass
>this was going to take most of the night to get together, and you had a feeling T-pain knew that when she sent you down here.

>You had organized half of this mess into some semblance of order as there were now several stacks of wooden crates and cardboard boxes stacked neatly against the back wall.
>You had a pounding headache from over using your horn by moving stacks as a hole rather than one at a time, and it took its toll.

"Alright now that the heavy lifting is out of the way lets just get those fancy boxes over in the corner"

"And lets do this pretty quick I feel like my head is going to explode if I don't go to bed"
>Spike deflated A little figuring we wouldn't be watching the end of the anime tonight, but with the bags in his eyes he wasnt going to complain.

>He worriedly pointed to the leaning tower of boxes that made up the last stack.

>flashing him a smile as your aura began to engulf the tower, which to your surprise was adamantly resisting your magical grip.
>You tried 3 more times before collapsing onto the cold floor, panting with a head ringing like a church bell.

>Drifting through the stars towards a blue planet.
>Violently entering the planets atmosphere just to explode thousands of feet above the earth.
>Hours of being forged by a savage looking donkey
>A profane ritual atop a stepped pyramid beneath an eclipse.
>A war between donkeys and bat ponies with the eclipse still looming in the sky.
>Nightmare moon in all her wickedness laughing at the heavens with a wound by her heart grasping your vantage point in her magic.
>A battle between divine sisters for the fate of Equestria ending with Nightmare moons banishment.
>Several guards in a warehouse full of artifacts preventing anyone from entering.
>Princess Celestia in a secret room in Canterlot castle talking with several advisers in hushed tones, worry etched her features.
>A royal messenger with a strange package before a familiar crystalline castle.
>And Finally A cute green Filly being stabbed by a knife which fell from an open box above.

>You woke up in a cold sweat with your heart pounding in your chest.
>You were in your room, you were a filly again, and you felt like shit.
>You felt over your body to where the blade had pierced you to find a bandage over the damaged area.
>The wound still painfully throbbed as you moved about to inspect it.
>Leaning back into the comfort of your bed you looked around to find that it was dark and raining outside.
>In your room it appeared as though all of ponyville had left you get well cards, flowers, and candy.
>It was touching to think so many cared about your condition.
>You felt a little bad that you didn't know them as well as you should, after all you were kind of a shut in.
>You lay back wondering about the vision you had just seen.
>The Pyramid was as far as you got before forcing those thoughts out with a shiver.

>You then noticed the form that was sleeping uncomfortably against your bed.
"Twilight?"
>Her ear twitched but she remained unmoved.

>You skipped through some of the notes until you found something you 'could read.

>the remainder of the letter consisted of daily updates to your condition which you didnt bother to read.

>You chuckle in response and curl up into her, your mane already wet with her tears as she fell asleep against you.
>"We thought we lost you" she said after a few quite minutes hugging you.

>That was a long time to be bed ridden, but you were lucky you got up at all.
>This thought brought you back to an uncomfortable one.

"Twi when I was out I saw some pretty terrible thing-"

>"Besides I've been doing research alongside taking care of you"
>Yawning she continued.

>This was the last thing she said before drifting off to sleep.
>Though her words were sweat you couldn't believe them, whatever stabbed you was dangerous and sooner or later would need to be dealt >with.

>Other than the ache in your shoulder you were able to move about the day after with a slight limp in your left forhoof.
>Despite this Spike was instructed to follow you around in-case you needed help, which you only used those services once when your hoof gave out on the stairs.
>The day after Pinkie Pie insisted on throwing a party for you, which Twilight at first declined but relented as long as it was kept a low key affair.
>To both of your relief it was, the only people to arrive were Twilight's friend and the crusaders who had arrived from school halfway through.

>Twilight was the only person you told the visions too, which she reported to the other princesses along with the rest of her findings of which there was little she came up with.
>The Dagger was made of meteoric Iron and inlaid with gold with an insect carving which sat where the blade met the handle.
>It was given to her by Princess Celestia for "safe keeping".
>And Obviously it was enchanted by some form of magic.

>You and Spike were once again in your room watching Animu
>On tv The wounded stallion struggled to trot down the stairs to the gunmen bellow, every step an audible 'clop'
>The Tan pony with the light green mane was clutching its side with its left fore-hoof, blood running down his eye.
>He came to a stop rising to his hind hooves before them.

>Spike watched transfixed at the scene wondering if there was going to be more, that his hero would get back up.

>It was at this point it dawned on you that you have never been in a fight as a pony, and had no idea what you were doing.

>An arm the size of a full grown man threw a right hook so hard it impacted with a loud CRACK, and threw diamond off-course.
>She landed next to you in a heap, her signature tiara lay beside her broken in half.
>Watching her prone form you noticed she was still breathing, but with blood coming out of all her facial features.
>Curiously you noticed a large question mark over her form.

>You glanced at the ponies up hill, they stared at you horrified.
>The crusaders were among them, there expressions were a mix of joy and apprehension as you rekt the biggest bully in school.
>Not even Silver Spoon came down to aid her friend.
"humph Guess your not as popular as you thought huh"
>You were grinning ear to ear when you turned back to her.
'POP'
>The question mark turned into an exclamation point and disappeared.
>Really odd you thought turning towards the elephant in the room.
>It was humanoid, Built like a boxer in fact!
>It glowed green and had nothing on its face other than a question mark and a mouth.
"uh your not gonna hurt me are you?"
>It stared down at for a few seconds before giving you a thumbs up and and a grin to mirror yours.

>Originally they were going to send you to whatever the pony equivalent of juvenile hall was.

>Then to a new set of foster parents.

>Now you were waiting for Twilight to pick you up from town hall after her own questioning.

>Who, noticing Twilight for the first time, got up and ran towards her to tell her what happened.

>After another hour or so waiting The more senior of the Police ponies stepped outside the office and approached you.

"yeah I have no idea what it actually is but since I'm the only one who can see it, 'ghost' seemed appropriate"
>She stopped struggling as she looked to Spike who was sitting with a look of horror as Twilight levitated in the air without any kind of visible magic from either party.
>"Um Green I think I believe you now, so can you please ask it to put me down."
"uh yeah, sure"
>You recalled your ghost as twilight hopped back onto the ground.
>She looked around trying to find some trace of her attacker.
>No one seemed to notice the whole spectacle.
>After another moment of silence she looked over to Spike
>"Hey Spike how about you go grab the 3 of us something to eat, it seems me and Honey have a lot to talk about"
>He folded his arms in protest.
>"Ah but I want to see more cool ghost stuff"
>She shot him a commanding look
>"ugh fine but you need to fill me in on what I miss" He said while walking off with a bag of bits.

>When you got back to the Castle you filled her in on everything that you knew about your new pal

>Twilight noticed the tone Pinkie was using with you.
>"Hey Pinkie, are you alright?"
>You noticed the pink thing from earlier as it climbed onto pinkie's head.
>Your eyes widened as you took in the horror of this creature.
>It was the size of a chihuahua, had a pink insect like body with 4 limbs and a wasp like face which terminated into a syringe instead of mandibles, atop its head between its antennae was a crystal ball.
>You shrank even more until you could only barely see over the table, shivering in fear.
>Just then the Insect reached down and jabbed Pinkie in the neck with its syringe and in an instant Pinkie snapped into her usual self.
>Even the stand Changed sprouting another set of limbs and its wasp like head became a cartoon kitty cat.
>"of-COURSE Twilight everything is super doper right now!"
>She said bouncing on her hooves.
>"I just stopped by to help you guys out with your research"
>"uh I don't think that's really necessary Pinkie"
>Twilight never really took pinkie seriously.
>You couldn't blame her, she couldn't see what you saw.

>She then looked over to you, and your frightened state, then back to pinkie still bouncing expectantly.
>She eventually put 2 and 2 together
>"Anon does she have a ghost too?"
>You nodded as Pinkie continued
>"Its not a ghost Twilight, its a Stand! its a part of mine and Nonny's soul given form I think"
>She shrugged before looking back at you.
>"Don't worry Nonny [FORTUNE FADED] is purely defensive, It wont bite"
>That made you feel a little bit better as you climbed back into your chair.
>That thing was still creepy thou.
"[FORTUNE FADED]? is that what you named it?"
>She giggled into her hoof, her stand mocked the gesture.
>"Silly Nonny one doesn't simply name a STAND" she paused a moment in thought "but I guess I could use mine to figure out your Stands name"
>Before you could respond. [FORTUNE FADED] clapped its top limbs together and Pinkie Pie darted out the room at impossible speeds.

>She returned in full fortuneteller garb with a crystal ball she set on the table between the 2 of you.
>Before she could begin twilight coughed to get Pinkies attention.
>"Excuse me but are you saying that this entire time you've had this 'Stand' thing and you didn't bother telling us about it?"
>"Well duuuuh" Pinkie said rolling her eyes. "Twilight having a Stand is like being in a super secret club for Stand users only"
>"Do you know how much of a panic there would be if the word got out?"
>"That there are ponies with abilities so powerful that they can only be stopped by other ponies with similar abilities?"
>Twilight look saddened by this revelation.
>"I guess so" She was silent a long moment her eyes cast down "So much for 'element of magic'"
>Pinkie gave her a pat on the shoulder and a smile.
>"Ah don't worry Twilight its not all fun and games with Stands."
>"As Stand user's we are destined to meet other Stand users for good or ill."

"Its one of my Abilities, but you should know not to give away your Stands ability all willy nilly filly, that can be pretty dangerous"
>A thought occurred to you as you left her gaze and turned towards the window.
"Pinkie how many Stand users are in Ponyville?"
>She rubbed her chin before continuing, once again her stand mimicked the gesture.
>"Weeell, Theirs you of course, I think Vinyl scratch has one, that weird Doctor guy, and one other but I cant think of her right now"
>She shrugged.
>That was good to know, nobody who would be much of a threat to you or your family.

"How did you get a Stand Pinkie, I had to get stabbed to receive mine".
>"Oh that's easy I inherited it from my Mom's side of the family, in fact all my sisters have stands as well"

>To your surprise you felt the spiky claws dig into your own hooves as well.

>The crystal ball on both the stands head and the table began to change to a shade of green >with a question mark.
>Twilight and Spike had abandoned any attempt to actually study curiously watching this ritual.
>"I think I saw something that time" Spike chimed in.
>Twilight silenced him with a wave of her Hoof.
>The pain in your hooves increased and you could see blood coming from one of the indents.
>The Crystal Ball changed color again, this time to a Pink Star before quickly disappearing.
>[FORTUNE FADED] released its grasp and you rubbed your hooves together and shrank in your seat a little.
>You felt violated by this whole thing.
>Opening her eyes she looked through you.
>"your Stands name is [CRADLE SONG], and I think you already know how your ability works"

>"After all if you hadn't you would be in jail right now, and how funny would that be? amirite?"
>Her hair puffed up again as her smile returned.

>With a clap of her Stand she spun around in a flurry and when she stopped the ball and her outfit disappeared.
>[CRADLE SONG] I guess that's a cool name, I mean you could say you were born again when you got this body, so you guessed it fit.

>At the moment you and Spike were on the outskirts of town.
>Rarity offered to give the 2 of you some bits if you could bring her some Gems.
>She even taught you the spell to find them.
>With a little difficulty and practice on what gems Rarity did have, you and Spike set off.
>The Spell was kinda difficult.
>You had to Picture the Gems, every individual type of gem in your head.
>Sapphire, Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, and you already forgot the others.
>Then you had to pan your horn around like a metal detector and when one of the Gems lit up in your mind you found them.
>When you detected them they would sometimes become visible underground which made things much easier.
>What also made it easier was most of the gems tended to be in bunch's.
>"Hey Anon theirs a pretty big rock over there"
>He was pushing the wheel barrow, and whenever we found a pit with gems in it he dug it up, and whenever we found a boulder I busted it >open.

>2 other Diamond Dogs launched themselves to join the first.
>They seemed confused they didn't expect you to move so quickly.
>They bickered among themselves, arguing about how they failed the abduction.
>You turn and whisper to spike.
"Spike are these the dogs that abducted Rarity"
>You remembered her telling you that story while preparing.
>he shook his head.
>"No I don't recognize them from before"
>He looked around in panic. biting his claws
>"What do we do?"

>You trotted up to the Dogs before Spike added.

>There was a small blue one, a large brown one, and finally a reddish dog that was missing its right eye.

>The Small blue one chimed in pointing a finger towards you.

>Both Dogs stopped and looked at each other before laughing there asses off.

>As there laughter died down Buddy was the first to speak.
>"Say?" he glared back at you for a moment saliva was now dripping from his maw.
>"What are you gonna do if we try to touch you".
>This is fucking disgusting.
"I'm Going to break your arm"
>That wiped the smug off his faces.
>you stood up onto your hind legs and pointed to the Brown dog.

>The brown one ran towards you.

>[CRADLE SONG] Raised the grasped hand above its head completely ignoring the left hand which was swiping at basically nothing.

>His words went unheeded.
>The Stand proceed to deliver an open palmed strike from its left hand to the dog's raised elbow.
>It Snapped with a sickening 'Crack' and nearly tore the limb off as blood began flowing from the fracture.
>Then Buddy here fell to the ground whimpering as he clutched his ruined limb.
>You turned your attention to The blue dog who charged straight at you.
>"IVE GOT YA MATE"
>He yelled as he began to slash at you with his claws.
>[CRADLE SONG] expertly blocked a flurry of blows to your face before delivering 3 of its own.

>he took 2 to the chest 1 to the gut and stumbled back spitting blood out his mouth.
>"The ell was that?" he fell back clutching his gut. "I couldn't fookin see the bloody thing"

"maybe ponies are a little too dangerous for you guys to be hunting"

>Still on your hind legs you looked over your shoulder at him bringing your Stand up behind you.
>He stood there smoking a cigar.
"Does that mean you want in on this too?"
>He shot you an amused grin, before tossing the smoke into the hole.
>"Nah can't say I do" He headed over to the prone form of Buddy.
>"Stand battles arnt worth the effort unless you have nothing to lose"
>He crouched by Buddy and Set his arm which causing him to howl in pain.
>You return your Stand and gesture to Spike to grab the wheel barrel and make your way back to Ponyville.
>"Be careful little Mare, you just took your first steps into a VERY dangerous world."

>It was night by the time you got back
>you guessed around 7 or 8ish.
>You didn't worry too much though you told Twilight you would be coming home late.
>And 8 O'clock wasn't exactly late...We'll at least not for you.
>Spike's earlier thought's of you basically being a super hero were nothing but reassured by your actions today.
>Which was good because It kept you from thinking about that dog.
>"Oh man it's just like our Neighponese Anime's"

>If he wasn't the one pushing the Wheel Barrow he'd be hopping like Pinkie Pie.

>"ooooh and it looks like you didn't disappoint either, that thing looks absolutely stuffed"

>Spike frowned as he got on his knees to clean of the wheelbarrow.

"Um Rarity If its not too much trouble, is it possible to use my payment to make an outfit that I want to put together?"
>Her ears perked up as her whole body seemed to brighten up.
"OF-COURSE DARLING! I'll just have to take some measurements, consult my color chart and..."
>She went on listing all the preparation's she would have to do while pacing back and forth.

"um I didn't really have a dress in mind and since I know your busy I think me and Spike can handle this"

>She sighed before heading to her design room with the Gems you harvested.

>You tried to do the motions but forgot, and in the end you still poked yourself in the eye.
>You waited until the glow disappeared before turning back to spike who was still in a lovers trance.
>Shaking Spike out of his thoughts with your Hooves You say In a commanding voice
"Wake up buttercup! this was your idea so hop to it, we'll get you your Marshmallow surprise some other time"

>It took a couple of hours.
>You ended up with a small black Collared coat that terminated at the edge of your cutie mark
>Thanks to some of Rarity's TLC it fit you perfectly
>You found a cap that matched the coat.
>Using some scissors, and a needle and thread (FUCK YEAH STAND FINGERS) you cut the back and some of the sides out so your hair could flow.
>This had a nice blending effect.
>You also cut a hole for your horn to fit through.
>Spike Found a couple of Triangle patterned belt's you threw on, a couple of multi colored undershirts and a golden chain you hooked onto your collar.
>Then Finally you found the pins.
>You selected 5 golden pins
>The first 4 spelt out 'ANON' with a 5 pointed star instead of an 'O'
>And finally a large square pin of a dolphin jumping.
>Why a Dolphin? because dolphins are awesome...fuck you
>Anyway Spike used some of the funds on himself
>He ended up getting a set of aviator style glasses with the mirror surface, a green and black zigzag pattern scarf, a green tank-top, and a Tan Boonie hat.
>He also made a couple of wrist wraps out of some loose material.

>You stood there in the mirror adopting different combat stances and poses.
>The outfit was perfect, it was made for you, in fact you could say you were made to wear it.
>Rarity Stood to your right, she looked aged as her mouth hung open a little.
>That dress she's working on must really be getting to her, she should probably get some sleep.
>Spike stood to your left with an approving grin and a thumbs up.
>You look back over to Rarity who meets your gaze.
"So what do you think? pretty cool huh?"
>She looks you over again then to Spike who was still grinning like an idiot, then back to you.
>She bit her lower lip before starting.

>She stopped and looked off trying to find the right words
>She pointed a hoof at you before starting again.

>Her hoof fell to the floor the look on her face never changed.

>For a moment you felt kinda bad that you wasted her busy time.

>A row of Spikes traced from her mane down to her tail, and her eyes disappeared behind several small green holes where her eyes used to be.

>That combined with what Mango said before the fight finally clicked for you.

>As A Spike Dug its way into your left flank, You imagined a light in your mind.

>Hopefully she'll stay back long enough for you to set this up.

>The second You had to use your Stand to boost you between the 2 lamps to place, again making sure to hold the mental connection of both lights.
>The strain of holding these connections was stressing your filly horn, and you were getting a Migraine from the effort.

>As if to further cement the point, she sent more spikes lancing around you impacting all around your downed form.
>If any of those hit it would be the end of you.

>The shadows around you thickened despite the lamp lights.
>Those 3 pretty lights
>The pain in your body was receding replaced only by the throbbing in your head.
>You could feel the warmth of your own blood coming from the wound in your side.
>A long thin lance made its way slowly from a shadow towards your face pausing only inches away.
>"What did you hope to accomplish here anyway?"
>You gave her a bloody grin.
"To catch your dumb-ass off guard with this.."
>You focused what remained of your mental energy to flip the switch on those 'light-bulbs' you left behind.
>Though not as sudden as your "grenade" the shadows bled away as your 3 lights increased in intensity

>That's as far as she got.

>With everything left in you [CRADLE SONG] grabbed her hind-hooves in his left hand.
>[CRADLE SONG] delivered a rapid fire assault with his right fist to whatever he could hit.

>The last thing you saw before passing out was a rainbow flash and the noise of an afterburner.

Chapter 3: [TEMPLE OF THE DOG]

>Upon waking up you see only blackness as a damp rag covered your forehead and obscured your vision.
>Several IV's had been jabbed into your left and right fore-hooves and you couldn't move them all that well.
>Your whole body especially the left side of your gut hurt like hell.
>What movement you could manage revealed that your midsection had one large bandage wrapped around your entire body.
>You figure they must have just finished operating since a brief touch sent a lance of pain which almost took you out again.

>You were about to call out when you were painfully wrapped up in a hug.
>Hissing in pain you were lowered back into the bed.
>"I'M SORRY I'M SORRY"
>Twilight cried through sobs.
>You heard a few clops as she backed off.
"It's OK Mom, it just hurt is all"
>You heard a chair being lowered as she sat next to you.
>Twilight began brushing your mane with her hoof, you could hear her breathing above you.
"Is...is Spike OK?"
>You didn't want to ask her this now but you had to know if your little buddy made it.
>She drew in a ragged breath before she took off the cloth.
>"They put the cloth on you when you developed a fever after the surgery" She said trying to dodge the question.
>You were in a recovery room with around 8 beds all with privacy walls between them.
>A window on the wall above you let in daylight.
>It was the only source of light in the room.
>Other Than the various medical equipment and machines the only thing in your space was your dolphin which you immediately levitated over and hugged.
>Fuck yeah dolphins.

>Turning to your right you saw the privacy fence wasn't there, instead there was another bed and several machines arrayed around it.
>When you focused you could hear a steady beeping from the machine.
>Spike Lay with twice as many IV's and monitoring devices than you, a mask over his face.
"Is he...is he gonna be OK?"
>You choked on the words as they left your mouth.
>"I don't know" She said quietly.
>She looked towards him for a few minutes before turning to you and continuing.
>"I did more research on the dagger this past week"
>"I also got to see some of Princess Celestia's own notes on the artifact after she got back with me"
>she seemed a little more composed now that she was talking about her research.
>"The knife was used as a rite of passage for Donkey warriors"
>"For thousands of years they used similar devices to give themselves an edge over there Zebra enemies"
>She paused and took a deep breath before continuing
>"The knife either gives the victim one of your Stands..."
>She looked back to Spike with a fresh wave of tears.
>"Or it kills them"
>Turning back to you she gently hugged you learning from her earlier attempt not to squeeze your gut.
"But he's breathing, and he has a pulse....hes alive!"
>She just shook her head.
>"He is currently fighting a mental battle for his life, His condition could deteriorate rapidly if he fails"
>You tried to return her hug, however your arms were restrained by the IV's.
>He couldn't die! he was your bro, you needed him.
>Twilight noticed, and took you more into her fore-limbs careful to support your back as to not stress your belly.
>You stayed held by her in the chair as the minutes turned into an hour.

>Eventually she put you back in your bed and made her way over to Spike while Nurse Redheart filled you in on your treatment.
>The doctors bandaged you up good to get you here before using healing magic to close up your wounds.
>The only exception was your gut which they had to operate on to ensure you wouldn't suffer any internal bleeding and infection.
>Because of that they didn't start using healing magic on that part of your body until after you woke up.
>You also went into shock due to blood loss during the fight and they had been giving you blood transfusions to replace what you lost.
>But other than your gut nothing really hurt you anymore.
>"Your one lucky little filly" Nurse Redheart said patting your head after removing your IV's
>"You'll be free to go this afternoon when your tummy heals up"
>It really bugged you how Ponies talked to you like a child.
>"Be sure to thank Rainbow Dash next time you see her"
>She was about to head over to Spike when you stopped her.

>You remembered the Rainbow flash before passing out but what did she do exactly?

>Not much later The remainder of Twilight's friends showed up there expressions a mix of relief at seeing you, and fear seeing Spike.

>She caught your gaze and smiled before turning to the bed containing Spike.

>asking if you were OK, if anything still hurt or needed them to do anything for you.
>You reassured them you were OK and were glad to see them and that they didn't have to trouble themselves.
>Credit to Rarity's element, she had already taken the liberty of cleaning off your coat and repairing it.
>She also invited you to go to the Spa as soon as you were well, which you tried to decline, but she told you "It was not a suggestion"
>It was all Pretty simple stuff until Rarity asked
>"Darling you don't happen to remember anything from that ordeal do you?"
>You gave Rainbow Dash a hard stare, and she fidgeted a little were she stood.

>She walked over to you and lowered her voice so only the two of you could hear.
>"I lied to them saying I rescued you from being abducted so that 'you' wouldn't be arrested for murder"

>"And what were you thinking? just because you get a Stand you can go around dishing out justice? You could've been killed"
>You weren't gonna take this.
>Spike could die from what she did to him and somehow you were the bad guy?
"She hurt Spike!" You hissed

>There was a pregnant pause in the room.

>Rainbow Dash waved her away with her fore-hoof
>"Go ahead Flutter Shy, grown ups are talking"

>It face had 2 rectangular slits for eyes angled towards the grill where its mouth should be giving it an angry looking aesthetic.
>Attached to the grill were 3 hoses 2 of which draped over its shoulder terminating in a small tank on its back, while the third terminated where a human heart would be.
>On the stripes that spiraled around its body were white letters that spelled out in human characters 'VOLA' repeatedly.

>A Few minutes pass on in silence before Twilight speaks again.
>"So what did you want to say earlier Dash"
>There was a pause as Dash gathered her thoughts and composed herself
>"Because Anon went after Mango, and because Anon killed her we fear whoever sent her may try to have Anon assassinated"

>3 more ball bearing smashed through the bench at you.
>your stand grabbed each individual one.

>You dived for the floor.

>The bench you sat on exploded and ponies all through out the car were now throwing themselves onto the floor or being hysterical.
>You needed to move, if you continued to stay here you would get someponies hurt in the crossfire.
"Spike stay here with twilight keep her safe, she's the only one who can heal us"

"Mom make a shield over these ponies"
>You turn away before she responds, but you can feel her hooves try to grab you.
>You and Pinkie Jumped into the aisle keeping low to avoid stray fire.

>A round punched through the door at the front of the car and flew past the point you were just standing ripping a jagged hole in the train car floor.

>If this was a gun it was heavily suppressed because the only noise was the sound of the bearings breaking the sound barrier.
>You crawl underneath the bench's towards the door to the next car which was only 3 rows away now.

>To your knowledge there were only 2 more cars in front of yours.

>a line of holes appeared in the wall of the train car tracing a line over the aisle as he blind fired through the door.

>You wrench the door open and proceed into the next car.
>Much like the last car you see panicking ponies trying to stay out of the way.
>Your target was wearing a desperado hat and duster with a humanoid Stand you couldn't get a good look at.
>He stood on his hind-hooves as you entered.

>Your Stand intercepted all the Bearings but something else grazed your right shoulder
>You dropped to the floor as the remaining rounds passed over you, pain lanced up you shoulder.

>You could feel the warmth of blood down your shoulder.
>It hurt a lot but you pulled yourself back up to your hooves as the gunpony fled to the next car.
>Pinkie came up behind you.
"Is it bad?"

>"No it's just a flesh wound and Twilight will be able to treat it when we get back to her"

>"There's only one more car until we reach the front of the train"

>You once again slowly approaching the door waiting for Pinkie's to give you more warnings.

>When you reach the door Pinkie is the one to grab the handle but she holds it for a few seconds and looks at you.
>"I have an idea but I need you to keep his Stand distracted while I pull it off"
>You nod as she closes her eyes, Her Stand seemed to spas out for a second touching her in various spots across her body.
>"He also doesn't have any more of that cannon"
"Good that means he cant really penetrate all the cover in the way"
>You both brace against the side of the door as Pinkie pulls it open.

>The car has an aisle on the left side with cabins on the right for long distance trips
>The Stand Hovered midway through the car its legs dangled lazily beneath it.
>The Green Stand Was as tall as yours but less muscular, It had a head consisting of several cables dangling where hair should be a single large red eye, and a small expressionless mouth.
>draped over the Stands shoulders was a brown ragged, and torn looking cloak.
>its right arm had a large bulbous looking gun that began at its elbow with 2 barrel, a large one with an opening the size of a bottle and a small one about the size of the bearings it fired.
>Midway through the gun was a large round cylinder and several wires and tubes that connected it to the rest of the Stands arm.
>Its left arm was covered in random red numbers which shifted as it stood there.
>It pointed its right arm at you bracing it against it's left.

>Your Stand caught as many as it could before you dived back through the door.
>You peaked to watch as it opened the cylinder of its gun and loaded more Bearings in the bag it carried.

>Another burst of bearing punched through the wall you stood behind, and although your stand blocked most of the salvo 2 made it through your guard impacting your left flank spinning you around.
"OW You fucker"
>you quickly inspect your flank for a bullet hole.
>there were only 2 large welts in your side, the metal wall must have robbed the bearings of there strength.
>It wasn't the only damage though your Stand was catching these bearings at full speed and your fore-hooves began to ache from the effort.
>You drop down and roll to the left under the bench's to hide long enough to come up with a plan.

>2 rounds passed over you the other 2 were embedded in the door.
>That's it.
>you picked yourself up and galloped for the door using [CRADLE SONG] to rip it from its track.
>You trotted behind your Stand as it used the door like an improvised riot shield and proceeded back into the car.

>You heard the rounds bouncing off of the door your Stand carried.
>You only needed to get a little bit closer.

>the door had numerous inward facing dents where the bearings impacted.
>You were close enough that you could hear the sound of bearings being loaded.

>the door took most of the damage but one round punched through and hit your Stand in the gut, the pain transferred to you.
>It felt like a full force punch to the gut as all the air in your lungs came out in a gasp.
>You gasped for air while your stand rotated the door so the undamaged side covered the both of you.

>You stand onto your hind legs pointing with your right hoof at the Stand.
"[CRADLE SONG] SHOW HIM A REAL GUN!"
>It grinned and hefted the bearings you collected.

>[CRADLE SONG] threw a hail of bearings at The enemy Stand.

>too the enemies credit it shot down 3 bearings with it's own before taking the remainder across its whole body and disappearing leaving the bag.
>"OW BUCK" A Stallions voice yelled out
>to your immediate right.

>The Stallion was red with a Tan mane wearing a cowboy hat and matching duster, and he was covered in blood from your attack.
>He also had a .38 revolver griped in his fetlock
'BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG'
>[CRADLE SONG] jumped faster than you had ever seen it move to intercept the bullets.
>It took all 6 rounds to the chest and you didn't feel it as your Stand rushed him.
>The Stallion hopped back on its hind leg towards the back of the room struggling to reload as he drew out his Stand.
>The enemy Stand intercepted [CRADLE SONG] before he could reach the Stallion.

>It was helpless to resist your onslaught
>And the Stallion was thrown against the back of the room against the window coughing up blood dropping his weapon.
>You both stared at each other for a moment before he opened his mouth.

>He was interrupted by one of the portable beds slamming down, revealing a pink pony and a large blue cannon.
>"ITS PARTY TIME"

>the stallion was blown out the window in a hail of confetti.

>But it still wasn't over thou
>With your stands more focused vision you could see the enemies Stand grab him mid flight and throw him onto the roof before disappearing.
>He impacted above you with a thud.


>You give chase galloping for the window.
>"WAIT NONNY"
>You ignore her as your Stand picks you into its arms and swings the both of you outside.
>Mid swing you see the fatal error you made.
>The buck was standing on his hind-hooves arms crossed as his Stand pointed its rifle at you.
'FSSST FSSST FSSST'
>Your Stand tucks you into a ball and takes all the rounds into the leg before throwing you onto the roof to join him.
>You flop onto the roof rolling from the impact, and the wind from the fast moving train.
>tears streamed down your face as you grabbed your damaged legs.

>You were lucky it hit your Stand and only did Flesh damage. you would be crippled if you took those rounds yourself.
>You lay there trying to pick yourself up but the combination of your shoulder and hind-legs being damaged left you struggling to even get a grip.
>You bring back out [CRADLE SONG] who Stands ready above you.
"You bastard"
>Your face was stuck in a pained grimace, tears rolling down your cheek.
>You saw he wasn't much better off.
>He had several bleeding wounds on his left hoof which hung limply, and his duster was stained as well.
>His face was already starting to get puffy from the bruising he took from [CRADLE SONG] you thought you also saw a black eye.
>"now now little filly, yall didn't have to come up ere"
>He gave you a toothy sidelong grin.
>"reckin it's your own damn fault fer yer ruined legs"
>Your Stand leaned over and tied strips of your shirt around the wounds.
>"Thought I'd also mention yer little stunt down there cost me my piece, swell as my bearings ol [SERENITY] ere was usin"
>he grabbed 2 speed loaders in his teeth and threw them up to his Stand who opened up his rifle and threw all twelve rounds into the cylinder.
>"Thing about my Stand is that it uses air pressure to launch anything round the size of a bit er smaller out the small barrel"
>"Which thankfully I aint gonna need these bullets anymore now that I'm disarmed, and thankfully bullets are more aerodynamic than the bearings"
>[SERENITY] snapped the barrel closed and pointed it at you.

>[CRADLE SONG] carried you in it's left arm while it dodged and parried bullets with its right.
>Every parry you felt with your right fore-hoof sending more pain through your body.
>You were losing ground as well.
>the train in total had only 7 cars and you had fallen back towards the 6th now.
>You kept falling back and he kept slowly following.
>All it would take is one slip up and you would be killed from those bullets.

>your Stand deflected them into the train itself.
>[CRADLE SONG] glided over onto the last car.
>The stallion followed you over as you ran out of ground.

>You obviously didn't want either of those options but you struggled to come up with a way out.
>You couldn't rush him, you couldn't even stand at this point and it took tremendous effort to keep your Stand out.
>If you rushed with your Stand carrying you, that would mean one hand wouldn't be able to deflect bullets.
>You were about to consider jumping and taking your chances when you saw pink to your right.

>The mountain loomed above you and the tunnel was much closer now.
"What would your sister think if she saw this?"

>You rolled onto your stomach in time to see Pumpkin landing back on the train tracks behind you with his Stand already in a firing position.

>He stood with hooves wide open. [SERENITY] stood with it's gun raised barrel smoking.

>Currently the best Stand crew in Equestria (plus Twilight) just got off the train at Canterlot and were heading towards Pony Joe's Doughnut shop to eat and catch up with Rainbow Dash.
>"You seem like your in a good mood"
>Spike said as you pranced towards the lonely doughnut shop.
"Spike that was the hardest fight I had ever been in, for a few minutes there I thought He was going to kill me"
>Your heart was still pounding from the rush as you relived [CRADLE SONG]'s touch down pass
"I've never felt so ALIVE!"
>Spike lowered his glasses giving you a concerned look which was mirrored in Twilight's eyes as well.
>You turn to Spike with your best grin
"Spike one day you'll understand this feeling"
>Striking a pose with [CRADLE SONG] you continue
"The rush, this beating in my heart, The hot breath I stole from death itself to be here. I feel like I could take on THE WORLD right now!"

>Twilight Hoof met her face with a groan
>"Ugh and I thought Rainbow Dash was bad."
"You're just jealous That you still don't have a Stand Twiggles"
>"No, I'm just thinking your taking this whole thing too lightly, and we should all been more careful"
>She pulled out one of her notepads from her Saddlebag.
>"According to Aura Flutter his Canterlot cell had 4 ponies, we've dealt with 2 of them one of which is still alive and pursuing"
>You were not gonna let her rain in your parade
"No problem at all If I survived Pumpkin I can survive anything"
>"Still Anon I'm worried, what if there are more ponies than these 4?"
>Rolling your eyes you Head for the doughnut shop.
"So what if they are, we have 4 users and your magic. were going to find Diamond-Whatever and be home before the end of the week you'll see"
>"right, and if we don't?"
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to eat."
>Pinkie wrapped you in a hug
>"yeah Twilight stop worrying all the time me and Nonny make a great team
>She gave you a tight squeeze and released leaving your cap all flustered.

>Pony Joe's doughnut shop was not much of a shop anymore.
>From what you could tell the place was recently renovated to be more like a breakfast orientated restaurant.
>In fact it was a lot like a Denny's back on earth
>Inside at the back of the room was a bar where Joe sat selling his donuts for ponies on the go.
>around the perimeter of the building were table with bench style seating, and there were several aisles where more tables sat back to back.
>the restaurant was decently populated with ponies enjoying various breakfast meals and coffee.
>A great deal of these ponies were students from Celestia's school using the place to study.

>A White Unicorn with a blue mane approaches your group levitating several menus.
>"good morning my name is Lotus Apple, and I'll be your hostess today, is it just going to be the 4 of you?"

>Twilight answered for the group as you levitated over a newspaper from a rack by the entrance.
>Lotus Apple led everyone back to a booth against the wall to the right.
>You and Spike sat besides each other facing the door so there would be room for Dash to sit on your bench.
>Lotus collected your groups order and trotted off to the back room.
>You only ordered a strawberry doughnut and a glass of chocolate milk, you weren't really hungry, but nobody can say 'no' to chocolate milk.
>Twilight quickly pulled out a book and buried herself in it, while Spike did the same with his manga.
>digging into your own saddle bag you find your translator and begin attempting to read the paper.

>Apparently your adventure in Ponyville had not gone unnoticed as your teams exploits were plastered all over the front page.
>In the paper was of course Rainbow Dash dealing with Mango Sherbet "filly napping" you.
>But the main article was on Aura Flutter's own 'Bizarre actions' (as the paper put it) in the death of Doctor Horse, and the damage to Ponyville General.
>Officially Aura flutter was being accused of sabotaging several X-ray units which caused the horrific death of the Doctor and several fires in the building.
>There was also a mention of several bombs being planted in the Hospital, but only one went off which detonated with enough pressure to destroy all the fire extinguishers on that level.

>Princess Luna would be overseeing the Trial personally, mentioning her own "expertise" in the magic used are needed to determine guilt.
>Trial would be held later on in the month, and Doctor Horse's service was going to be held this Friday.

>You continued reading until the door opened and a familiar blue Pegasus flew in the restaurant.
>Waving your hooves she notices your table and flies over sitting next to you by the aisle.
>"Hey Squirt!"
>She said rubbing your mane a little to hard messing up your hat again.
"Hey crash!" you reply with a punch to her shoulder.
>"Hey Dashie, we ordered you some blue berry pancakes since I know there your favorite"
>Pinkie replied as you fixed your mane.
>"Thanks Pinkie! I knew you wouldn't forget"
>She looked around before lowered her voice and continuing
>"So I heard about the train, you girls look alright but is everything OK?"
"Yeah I'm the only one who got hurt but Twilight patched me up"
>She sighed
>"That's a relief...what was the Stand?"
"The user's name was Pumpkin Smash, and his Stand was [SERENITY] it was a ranged type stand that launched projectiles at high speeds"
>folding your hooves behind your head you continue
"I took care of that trash no problem"
>Pinkie Pie giggle.
>"Please Nonny you he beat you up pretty good, and I had to rescue you remember?"
>Pinkie pie said sapping your glory, as Dash chuckled.
>"maybe next time you'll take on a Stand user on your own"
>Is she serious now?
"Uh excuse me? I've already taken out 2 Stand user's so far, one of which by myself, how many do you have Dash?"
>"Well I..."
>She shuffled awkwardly in her seat.
>"Ugh fine you win this round"
>She said rolling her eyes.
>"but I bet that before this is over I'll have more victories than you"
>a competitive grin was forming on her muzzle
"I'll take that bet! and the loser shaves there mane off too! DEAL?"
>"DEAL!"
>The 2 of You lock fetlocks and stare into each others eyes.

>You eventually went back to the paper as the rest of your party began eating there food.
>Struggling to read an article on Fillynappings in Manehatten ,you were interrupted by Twilight who knocked over your Chocolate Milk.
"God Dammit Spergle!, It's bad enough I have to deal with this shit at hom..."
>You trailed off when you you looked up at her.
>She was clutching her belly and throat gagging on something.
>She collapsed when Vines of some sort began coming out of her mouth as she struggled to breath from her nose grabbing at her throat with her hooves"

>Everypony present was stunned.
>"This is a Stand attack girls" Pinkie said springing into the aisle looking at all the ponies for a potential culprit.
>Dash grabbed Twilight and pulled her onto the table flipping her onto her back.
>"Anon use [CRADLE SONG] to extract whatever is doing this, Pinkie get back over here and use your Crystal ball to give her sight.
>The waitress pony galloped over to your table dropping her menu's
>"Oh my gosh is she alright, should I call help or the gua-"
>She recoiled in horror as [CRADLE SONG] emerged from your back to treat Twilight
"Yeah...go call for help, because when I'm done with Twilight I'm coming for you"
'ORA'
>You only saw her Stand for an instant as it took the blow for it's master.
>The Stand was physically weak however and she was thrown towards the door.
>She picked herself up and ran outside into the street.
"DASH TAIL HER! I got mom"
>She saluted and flew out the door after her.
"Spike go get help"
>"Oh man oh man, why does this always happen to us?"
>He said running to the back to find a phone.

>Pinkie set up her ball which showed a cutaway of Twilights insides.
>In her Stomach mixed in with the food was a seed that had a thorny vine sprouting from it snagging with her stomach's insides and esophagus.
>[CRADLE SONG] stared into the ball while slipping its ghost like hand into Twilight's belly.
>On the ball your Stand Grabbing the vines and balled them up and slowly began maneuvering it out towards her mouth.
>The effort of using your Stand in this fashion was causing you to sweat already after only 5 minutes, and Twiggies struggling didn't help.
>"OK Anon I got the doctors on the way" Spike said racing from behind the counter.
"Good work Spike, get ready the second I'm done we're going after Lotus"
>Your Stand continued to bring the seed through Twilight's esophagus as she Struggled against her own gag reflex, tears streaming down her eyes"
>You motion for pinkie to restrain her as your Stand used it's free hand to hold her lower body still.
"I'm Sorry Mom but the more you struggle the harder this is, Hang in there"
>[CRADLE SONG] had just eased the seed past her tonsils and pulled it from her muzzle
>Using your Stands eyesight (which made no sense to you considering it lacked them to begin with) You could see the seed was just an ordinary seed that had somehow sprouted inside Twilight.
>[CRADLE SONG] crushed it for good measure.
>blood started oozing out her mouth and nose as she panted for air.
>Pinkie patted her head, and you gave her a quick hug before standing back up
>"Twilight hang on. the three of us have to track down the user"
"Mom Use your magic to heal yourself while we go after her"
>She nodded as pinkie lowered her to the cushioned bench next to the table.
>You Spike and Pinkie then gallop for the door, you only look back for a second before stepping out into the streets of Canterlot again.

>The city of Canterlot much like the castle itself consisted mostly of White, Peach, and tan colored buildings, some buildings had purple and gold roof tops similar to the keep itself which loomed above.
>Every so often the walls section off an area of the city and defensive towers would overlook these "districts".
>Several different merchants had the storefronts open to customers, and some even had there sale items outside to attract business.
>But there was an eerie quiet about the town which wasn't there when you entered Pony Joe's
>Dash was in the air waving to get your attention.
>You gallop towards her
"Where is she Dash?"
>"She went down this alley, but be careful something really doesnt feel right about this place."
"Thanks continue tracking her"
>She flew back up as Spike spoke up
>"Anon While I was in Pony Joe's I snagged a few cans of cooking oil I can use for bombs"
>He unfastened them from his belt showing them to you.
"Sick Spike just save those for when we get a clear shot".
>Your party headed into the alley between a restaurant and pretty white house with some hanging plants decorating there patios
>on the other side of the alley was a similar street to the one you left.
>racing through said alley you couldn't help but feel a sense of dread building in your gut as you advanced.
>"ANON LOOK OUT!"
>Pinkie cried out from behind
>There was no way you could dive fast enough as a Vine from one of the plants ensnared your head.
"I-Impossibl-"
>The plant picked you of the floor by the neck as you helplessly flailed at the vines.
>Bringing out your Stand didn't help either as it to was grabbed by it
>Pinkie was quick to get underneath you and lift so the hanging wouldn't be fatal, but the vines just tightened around your neck slowly killing you.

>"ANON I GOT YOU" Spike cried from below you
>He flicked open his lighter and his blue stand emerged
>"Temple of the dog"
>He pointed at the vines around your neck
>"IMMOLATE"
>[TEMPLE OF THE DOG] put its hands together at chest level right hand facing up left hand facing down.
>A ball of fire developed between its hands as your vision began to darken.
>TOTD's fireball was now a purple glowing orb with a white core.
>The Stand suddenly thrust its hands towards the pot the plant ensnared you from.
>A purple jet of flames vaporized the entire plant, as you fell back into Pinkie's hooves.
>TOTD fanned the flames across all the plant's in the alley.
>To your surprise none of the building had so much as a scorch mark from the inferno, only the plants were damaged.
>After regaining your breath you turn towards Spike
"You've been holding out on us Spike"
>He smiled and snapped the lighter closed
>"Yeah I try sometimes"
>Rolling your eyes you continue
"OK guys I'm pretty sure this is some kind of plant based ability as long as we steer clear of plants we should be in the clear"
You turn pointing back up towards the pot.
"it's also important to call out before it's too late if you are grabbed, somehow that plant managed to withstand my Cradle Song's own strength"
>They nod in understanding and the 3 of you head off.

>Walking into the street you find Dash hovering over one of the apartment buildings down the street to your left.
>Getting a clearer view, it seems that all the plants were growing at an alarming rate and lashing out at the surrounding ponies, and a panic was on the rise as guards struggled to deal with the crisis.
>It was total chaos as ponies did whatever it took to keep away from the rapidly spreading plants
>Several unicorns over stressing there horns projecting shields, and several fires were started to burn out humble rose bushes who's petals were snapping like piranhas.
>It hadn't even been 5 minutes since you left the shop.
>To your right an older gentle colt was grabbed by his flanks and chest by roots emerging from the pavement, and was slowly being torn in 2
"Celestia's crotch tits! Spike use your Stand quick!"
>The 2 of you release your stands and desperately try to help the Stallion.
>[CRADLE SONG] punched the cement bellow him, as [TEMPLE OF THE DOG] incinerates it with his flame thrower.
>The Stallion gasped grabbing his midsection, you could see blood just bellow the skin.
"Are you alright? can you move?"
>He nodded returning his fallen hat to his head
>"Aye miss, I think I'll manage, Thank you young lady I wont ever forget this!"
>He pulled himself back up to his hooves and trotted off.
>You turn and haul it back to Rainbow Dash who was similarly helping out a party of Ponies ensnared by weeds coming from the sidewalk
>She frantically tried to stop the bleeding on a blue Unicorn mare whose left rear leg was taken off by a vine, While her Stand chopped apart the weeds with some kind of disc.
>"Oh my gosh Oh my Gosh OH MY GOSH! please keep your leg still or I wont be able to bind it"
>The mare nodded through tears as Dash Twisted the Stick she used to tighten down on the Mares stump.

>She looked surprised when you trotted up to her.
>"Where in Tartarus have you been? I fly off for a minute and suddenly it's the end of THE WORLD!"
"I almost lost my head in that alley is what happened"
>Dash looked around the area in a panic.
>"Wheres pinkie?"
>You turn looking around yourself only seeing Spike who was equally confused.
"Where is Pinkie?"
>Spike shrugged in response.
>"Anon she was right beside me I promise"
>There was a sharp whistle from across the street as Pinkie stood on the second floor of a home improvement store.
"Pinkie what the hell are you doing? we need to go after Lotus"
>"don't worry Horny I'll catch up, I'm trying to get everything ready for the garden Party"
>"Party?" The 3 of you say In unison staring at each other dumbfounded.
"Whatever Pinkie, Just don't take too long were gonna need your Stand to defeat her"
>"okie dokie lokie"
>She turned on her hooves and disappeared from view with a puff of smoke.
"Ookay"
>Turning back to Dash you wait for her to finish tying up the tourniquet she had made before advancing.
>"Your gonna be OK just try to get over to that unicorn with the shield, and don't touch it"
>The mare nodded through tearful eyes and limped off.
"You still know where she is right?"
>She gave you a prideful smile.
>"Who do you think I am Anon? Of course I saw her, I have eyes on the back of my head and junk"
>She pointed to the Apartment behind her before continuing.
>"She's on the second floor of the building, last door to the left"
>She says leading you into the apartment.

>The building was laid around a single hallway with stairs in the center and on both ends of the walkway.
>The 3 of you headed up the stairs paying the first no mind
>To your left and right are hallways lined with apartment doors in various states of flung open, on fire, and covered in roots and vines
>You could hear more than enough screams for help, and several plants were spreading from the rooms.
>"Should we help them Anon?"
"Only if there in our way, we have to keep moving or this will only get worse"
>"But listen to them Anon"
>more screams were coming from the right.
"I know Spike but were helping out more by finding the user"
>Rainbow Dash looked back to Spike giving him a reassuring smile
>"there gonna be OK Spike, there all counting on us to stop this"
>there was a steady rumbling throughout the building, like an earth quake back home.
>Dash led the group to the left side of the apartment.
"You sure she went this way Dash?"
>"Yeah yeah I saw her through the window outsi-"
>She stopped for a second putting her head to the floor to hear the rumbling.
>"I'm not the only one hearing this am I?"
"No your not If I had to guess It's the roots from nearby trees"
>"This Stand most be really powerful if it can influence this many plants"
>Spike nervously put in, his head darting to every corner of the apartment building
"Yeah it's ability is powerful but I'm willing to put bits down that the Stand itself is weak, and if we close the distance we got this"
>Your group continued moving through the floor until you heard a Filly crying through the door to your left.

"DASH STOP"
>The 3 of you halt turning to the door the noise was coming from.
"You guys hear that? I think there's a kid in here"
>"what are we gonna do Anon?"
>You didn't care if it was a waste of precious time you weren't going to allow kids to get killed.
"Calm down Spike, I'm gonna kick this door in, when I do toss one of your aerosol cans at the target, Dash your gonna grab them at the first opportunity"
>"You got it boss, Your getting pretty good at this" Dash Said smiling.
"I played a lot of Video Games"
>You felt the rumbling again as everypony readied themselves for the kick.
'ORA'
>with a single Punch the door flew off its hinges revealing the grisly sight of a potted flower completely entangling a unicorn mare.
>The plants roots snaked down her throat in a reverse fashion to the ones in Twilight, and began poking out from her chest.
>The petals themselves were snapping onto whatever of her was in reach.
>Her dead eyes stared at a closed bedroom door where the cries were coming from.
>Spike to his credit only gagged for a second before throwing the can at the plant by the window and flicking open his lighter.
>[TEMPLE OF THE DOG] emerged with his tail trailing back to the lighter, with its right hand held forward.
>With a snap of its finger the can detonated in a spray of flames destroying the pot and lighting the plant on fire.
>With a rainbow colored flash Dash entered and exited the closed bedroom carrying 2 yellow unicorn Fillies.
>Based on yourself you estimated they were only about 4 or 5, and both were still blank flanks.
>Both fillies clung to Dash's hooves beneath her wings tears still in there eyes.
>"Th-thank you miss, b-but where's my M-momma?"
>one of the fillies said turning back towards the door.
>before she got a chance you pull the door back up and lean it against the frame with your horn blocking any vision inside.
>"shhhh shhhhh your safe. now do you know anypony in here who can take care of you?"

>"WHERE'S MY MOM?""
>The first filly cried streams of tears ran down her face as she beat her hooves against Rainbow Dash
>The other filly didn't make a sound, she didn't even cry. she stared off in your direction a hollow expression on her face.
>You cursed Pulling your hat down and turning away.
>how the fuck did she see? were you not fast enough to put the door back up? did she see when she was riding Dash? or did she just know?
>Spike was fighting tears of his own, as you felt it building in your eyes as well.
>Dash trotted away with the fillies in tow towards the neighboring apartment
>You couldn't hear the conversation, but you watched as Dash convinced There neighbor an earth pony Stallion to take care of them.
>The neighbor took the 2 fillies and escorted them out of the building along with a mare who was also hiding out in the room.
>Dash returned her face shadowed from the lighting her teeth barred, a single tear ran down her face.
>Lotus was gonna pay for this.
>"There neighbor is taking them up towards the castle it seems to be the safest place for them
>She began walking down the hallway past you.
>"She's in the last room to the left"
>Anger was building in her voice.

>before the door the 3 of you prepared for entry, Same plan as last time.
>The door caved in, the Can sailed past, The can exploded and Dash sailed forth while you covered the corners.
>Nothing
>The 3 of you split up, You headed for the bedroom, as Dash cleared the Kitchen, and Spike went for the bathroom.
>Inside there was a a single queen size bed which was unmade, a few dressers, and a TV but no pony.
>The house looked lived in, with all the painting's and photos up on on the walls of various ponies.
>Moving to one of the photo's you saw a few ponies which caught your eye.
>In a group shot of 5 ponies in a park there were 3 you recognized.
>Lotus Apple who held 2 ponies in a close hug facing the camera with a toothy smile beaming
>Aura Flutter who looked flustered at what could have been a sudden grab
>Pumpkin Smash who stood off to the right on his hind legs lighting a cigar in his mouth with a grin.
>a little blue Pegasus filly with an orange mane.
>And some Black Pegasus Mare with a yellow mane you didn't recognize with a soft smile on her face, locked in Lotus's hug
>written on the bottom of the photograph were words you could easily read "my bestest friends"
>It made you sick to think that ponies who were happy and together would do something like this.

>Thou without proof you guessed the black mare was also a Stand user, and it would help to have the picture to recognize her.

>The rumbling continued as you met back up with Dash who was busy flipping over pieces of furniture.

>She broke a chair with a buck in frustration.
"uh huh, anyway I got a Photo of them"
>Showing it to her she studied it for a sec.
>"Huh. it's kinda like the photo me and the girls got..."
>She looked a lot sadder as she continued to look at the photo.
>She passed the photo back to you.
>"But this changes nothing, that monster just made an orphan out of those 2 and we cant forgive her for-"
>The rumbling increased as the building began to shake and furniture began to fall off the table.
"GET UNDER SOMETHING!"
>The 3 of you dived under the overturned couch Dash flipped over.
>"OH MY GOSH, what is this?"
>Dash said in a panic.
"It's the Roots, the roots are coming up through the apartment"
>As if to punctuate your statement a large trunk sized root emerged from the floor below and crawled up the wall behind your couch
>"Impossible! there just plants how can it go through a building?"
>Spike began biting his claws.
>This was her room, she led us up to her room.
"DASH GET US OUT OF HERE ITS A TRAP"
>Feeling her hooves around you she surged forward from under the couch.
>Flames Sprayed from Spike's Stand trying to incinerate the root to little help.
>There was a sudden lurch in the building just before Dash took off.
>She didn't get far as the entire floor caved taking the ceiling above with it.
>[CRADLE SONG] Began punching at the roof trying to create an escape route out, as the building dragged you to its demise.
>Just before you 3 became a pony pancake between the ceiling and floor, your Stand punched through the flat roof of the apartment.
>But it wasn't all sunshine and Rainbows

>Thou the plant growth stopped the predatory behavior they demonstrated did not.

>It was now 8PM, Your party arrived in the city at 10AM, and only now were the embers fading.
>The city with its white and grey architecture looked like a burning tomb.
>all in all 9 ponies lost there lives, and over 50 were rushed to the ER.
>4 buildings were destroyed all of them by tree roots which surfaced inside them, around 200 ponies were now homeless, and 2 businesses would be forced to close shop until they were reconstructed.

>You pinkie and Dash waited in the castles main atrium to be summoned by one of the Princesses, Spike had already left to assist Twilight with her own administrative problems.
>The atrium you sat in was a large high walled room with several tapestries, and banners hanging from the ceilings which itself was arched at the top.
>The room had 3 doors one of which was the entrance the other 2 led to different wings of the castle, and opposite entrance was a staircase up which at the top forked into 2 different arched doors.
>The 3 of you were lying on the floor on your sleeping bags, out of the way drifting in and out of sleep while waiting for somepony to address you.
>We were not the only ponies, Several groups were arranged like yours waiting to be assigned a room or temporary place to stay.
>The castle was in chaos as guards bearing equipment more suited to defense than the ceremonial gear they usually wore patrolled the halls at regular intervals
>Ponies galloped in and out of the castle carrying parcels, and letters to different agencies.
>You were about to drift off again when the sound of Dash giggling to herself snapped you out of your stupor.
"I'm glad your having fun, because this shit has been depressing for me"
>"No I know it's all bad and stuff, but I just realized something that's gonna be a riot"
>She said trying to hide her smile.
>Raising your eyebrows you continue
"And that would be?"
>"Your about to go meet one of the princesses dressed like that!"

"This is a legitimate school uniform I've personalized to my own liking, there is nothing wrong about wearing it"

>He turned to Dash and Pinkie who were gathering there things.
"As for you two I'll send another escort here at once to board you and provide a meal"
>With that he turned and escorted you to princess Luna while Dash complained about 'missing the show' from behind.

>The butler escorted you through the high walled, stained glass lined halls for several minutes before coming to a large door marked with the phases of the moon.
>The butler stopped and turned to face you.
>"alright ma'am this is Princess Luna's personal Study, I expect you to be on your best behavior"
"No problem"
>He looked you up and down
>"thou your outfit may be a problem, there is nothing to be done about that"
>You bit your lip to not say anything.

>"You'll have to make due with manners, when you first walk in bow before her until she tells you to rise, and always address her as Princess Luna, also..."

>The large room had a noticeably darker tone than the brighter halls outside.
>Along the walls were several bookcases containing several large tomes and some specimens on display.
>In the back of the room was a set of double doors which were left open and a set of curtain were drawn up letting in the moonlight from outside.
>Towards the middle of the room were several comfy looking chairs for ponies accompanying Luna in her studies (of which there were none)
>A Purple circular rug sat in the middle of the floor, it contained a more detailed depiction of the phases of the moon in a circular pattern.
>Above the rug was an ornate glass chandelier containing only a handful of lit candles which (as well as several other candles in various places in the room) provided the only illumination other than moon light.
>Near the back The princess of the Night herself sat on very nice (expensive looking) couch levitating several different notes and letters reading them to herself.

>Seeing Luna you galloped forward jumping onto the empty seat on the couch next to her
"Hi auntie Luna!"
>You cry while hopping onto the cushion next to Luna wrapping your hooves around her.
>There was a thud as the butlers jaw hit the floor, and Luna's papers were faced with gravity once again as she dropped her magic.
>Luna herself thou a bit startled at first relaxed upon recognizing the filly nuzzling her.
>"Ah Green Hornet! it's good to see you again, but you know better than to surprise me like that"
>She said with a smile and booping your muzzle.
>She turned towards the butler.
>"Do tell my sister that the thing we talked about needs her attention. that will be all Hazel" She said with a wave of her hoof.

>He shot you a fierce glare before turning and leaving

>Luna waited until the door closed behind him and the trots faded before continuing.

>She levitated her crown and jewels over to a nearby table and kicked off her heels? Slippers? horse shoes? whatever. And stretched herself out over the couch with a sigh, Levitating over a cup of coffee from the table which she clasped in her hooves.
"Long day huh?"
>"ugh you wouldn't begin to understand, Ive been up since 7pm yesterday...good work by the way"
"Thanks Luna but I don't understand the praise, Pardon me but Canterlot's kinda fucked right now"
>She waved her hoof dismissively.
>"Something like this was bound to happen sooner or later, and I'm glad you and some of the elements were in town to help"

>You shifted in the seat uneasily, you hated being the center of attention.
"Well How's the city doing since you mentioned it"
>"Well, the wounded are being tended to at the hospital, the homeless were moved over to the Colosseum and are living in tents until there homes are rebuilt"
>She sighed angrily, pointing out towards the garden her patio overlooked.
>"And my once beautiful view of the gardens is now ruined, and my city looks like a tomb"
>She took a deep swig of her coffee.
>"on top of it all I'm pretty tired, how about you?"
"Well this is the third assassin who's tried to kill me, but other than that I cant really complain"

"I still enjoy my old hobbies; playing  video games, collecting comics and manga, watching movies and fighting on TV, And all of this I remember had humans in them"

>She cleared her throat and began her lecture.
>"To be as brief as possible, that weapon and several others were forged by ancient donkeys using meteoric Iron from a meteorite which exploded over the forbidden jungles, before the foundation of Equestria"
>"At first they were used as simple weapon's, but when the first Stand users began to appear they were converted to a more profane practice"
>Her tone hardened
>"Equine Sacrifice, The donkeys used these weapons as a right of passage for there warrior caste to ensure all there warriors and hunters were Stand user's, those that did not have the willpower were killed.

>That vision of the pyramid came to mind, and a shiver ran down your spine
>a lot of those Donkeys apparently lacked the will power
>"These practices continued until the night of my insurrection as Nightmare Moon"
>"thou I too remember very little of it, for I was blinded by my own lust for power and jealousy of my sister I do remember the aftermath"
>"I destroyed two of there empires with my own Stand in a single night, and the final one I amassed my Batpony army and invaded there territory to leave a message"
>"Despite there high concentration of users I conquered there civilization with sheer weight of numbers"
>"I then confiscated those Stand making weapons destroying all but one, and returned to my sister, and I'm sure you know the rest"

>"I regret all of my actions as Nightmare Moon, but this I feel is only the second gravest sin I committed next to betraying my sister in the first place"

>"Every single one of these expeditions ended in a success with minimal losses and some major discovery, not bad for somepony whose been doing this for only 10 years"
>"But every time he returns despite all the praise he receives he appears more and more disappointed, and would shut himself away to plan the next expedition"

>It was the suppressed barrel of a gun which seemed to emerge from a shadow on the ceiling.

>This was the first time you ever saw her Stand.
>"I'm Sorry I have to do this Aura but this is the only way were gonna get back Whirlwind"

>Ironically the Castle really had a night and day difference between the times of day.

>It took a few more minutes to evade patrols and get here but now it was only a matter of finding Green Hornet and ending this.

>She walked towards the starry Alicorn which mimicked her walk but in the opposite direction stopping when there heads passed each other.

>The room began to bleed away.
>A swirling vortex appeared underneath the floor in the middle of the room sucking anything not nailed down into it.
"WHAT IS GOING ON?"
>"This is a nightmare Song, and one you will continue to suffer until you get off this path"
"T-then this is a dream, and none of this is real, but why cant I move why cant I use my stand anymore?"
>"Because you are now fully under the influence of my Tantabus my [NIGHTMARE]"

    >the Spirit that infected the dreams of everypony in Ponyville and nearly turned all of Equestria into a waking nightmare.
    >Of course it was her Stand, but when did you even fall asleep? you cant even remember drifting off or even being tired.
    "B-but Aura I-I killed Aura! THAT WAS REAL!"
    >"Indeed you did kill Aura, in this dream...Aura has been under my influence since he arrived, and just last night he had a dream of all his friends"
    >She said with a wicked smile
    >"Because of that ,and what you have done I have made you the newest host of My Tantabus, you cannot fight it for you cant bring your Stand into your dreams, and further more anypony you dream of will instantly be infected as well"
    >[NIGHTMARE] turned into a ball of gas and rushed you as you lay helplessly forcing it's way into your body.
    >"Also, Unless I recall my Stand (Which I will only do if you are no longer a threat to my agent) The dreams will continue to get worse and begin to have very real effects on your physical body"
    >Luna hopped towards the window as the floor gave away below you taking the zombie Green Hornet, she held you up in her telekinetic field.
    >"At its peak my Stand will begin to affect your very thoughts, and day dreams as well, and if you still persist my Nightmare WILL come alive in the real world and murder you"
    >She released you from her magic and the vortex sucked you in shredding your body.
    >"Sweat dreams song"
    >You tried to cry out but your bottom jaw was torn away along with your tongue.
    >Your body continued to shred as you were torn down to the bone, vital fluid and organs trailing behind you.
    >You were stripped until the very bones of your body were dust and you soul wandered in an unending blackness with nothing but the echoes of a crying filly.

CHAPTER 7: BLURRY

>Whats also not important was you only cried for about 15 minutes, until Luna herself showed up and removed her Stand which (thanks to the assassination attempt last night) had infected you.
>She also (with some convincing) told you about her [NIGHTMARE].
>Twilight ended up getting so mad from it she went on a heated rant about Luna's lack of restraint in her Stand usage.
>It was also the first time you ever saw her throw her title and authority at somepony, and Luna was more than a little miffed.
>Hopefully none of that would snowball onto you.
>Speaking of the assassin, she was still out there somewhere she never actually made the attempt Luna used her magic to make her fall asleep before she even attacked the castle.
>Luna also do to the ability got her name, appearance and stand from the whole fiasco so that was a plus.
>A Stand that can change anything to a 2 dimensional version of itself would have easily gotten the drop on you and your friends.

>A bump on the tracks woke you up from a dreamless slumber.
>Dash shared the upper bunk with you in the small cabin, so the other three had some head room while they sat below.
>The cabin was pretty plain, 4 bunks which folded out from the walls, a closet for luggage, a very cramped restroom, and 2 bench's with a table between the 2 where the other 3 sat.
>There was also a Tray with drinks on it, A particular glass of your favorite chocolatey beverage sat atop it
>Both Twilight and Spike were reading while Pinkie snacked on a cup cake.
>You hoped down next to Twilight and threw your coat and cap back on.

"Uhhh I mean I don't remember much about being human but I do remember my rock bands, and every Stand we have meet was named after a song or band"

>2 large booms made up the fuselage of the aircraft at the front of each were propellers, between the 2 booms was a smaller self contained cockpit where the pilot sat.
>A wing went through all 3 of these structures, at the end of the boom's the aircraft's elevators ran between both booms and extended a little ways beyond.
>This really is an odd sight, If I remember right this airplane was a warplane a fighter, but Equestria has no standing army let alone an air force.

>The train came to a complete stop as the Conductors tried to keep all the ponies inside calm, and in there seats.

>Turning back towards the airplane with the help of your Stands precision you were able to see a small object leaving the aircraft.
>Not a bomb it looked like a Pegasus heading down towards your position.

>The The light Green Pegasus dived for your group at full speed, a Yellow streak the same color as her mane followed after her like a lightning bolt.

>In your vision you could see the visitors platform being torn from the side of the falls.

>This has to be a Stand, there was no other explanation, weather patterns this violent don't happen in places like this.

>You could see Your Stand flying from the tornado back the way you came.
>[DANGER ZONE] was a long range Stand which took the form of a Blue Pegasus with triple the normal wingspan.
>Your Stand lacked Hind-hooves instead it had a green ornate feathered tail with small blue and orange eyes.
>On it's face It had a helmet with a black Visor which wrapped around its eyes making them impossible to see, on the back of the helmet was a blue mane which streamed back behind it.
>It flew past in a Green Streak.
>Turning back you marveled at the Twister your Stand created, you could tell it was beginning to die.
>That was one of your Stands weaknesses if it didn't maintain the pressure the twisters would lose stability and fall apart, for the smaller twisters it wasn't so big a deal your Stand could produce several at once and with Wind Riders help you could make them in any climate.
>Something blue caught your eyes.

>You are Rainbow Dash and the look on Lightning Dusts face was worth the few cuts you received from the slingshot around.

>Normally a sonic boom was generated when you travel fast enough to break the sound barrier, and thou I'm pretty fast no pony on the planet can attain such speeds, but that's not the point.
>Breaking the sound barrier is the act of fusing the sound waves produced through flight into one single wave by traveling so fast the waves cannot get out of the way of each other and fuse into a single really loud and powerful pressure wave.

>[BLURRY] had 2 abilities, 1 it could lower your local Speed of sound to something more attainable, but by doing so it also made hearing temporarily difficult as the waves would be to slow to reach me.
>and 2 it could transfer these shock waves to itself and do whatever it wants with them.
>which is exactly what it was doing now as you soared towards Lightning Dusts stunned body.
>[BLURRY] who was flying in a Spiral around me reached its hands out and 'grabbed' the vapor trail looking sound waves which where now around your hind legs, and and dragged them away to itself.
>This took away the first ability Blurry had but you still retained the momentum, and it felt like all the drag from your hind-hooves went away.
>[BLURRY] condensed the violent pressure waves into a rainbow colored disk between it's hand.

"WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND LIGHTNING DUST! PUCKER UP!"
>you cried as your Stand directed its hands toward Lightning Dust.
>She Turned to flee but you knew it was already to late for her.
"VOLA"
>Your Stand released its pent up energy directing it towards her left, you didn't want to kill her after all there was still a race to win.
>The deafening roar was quickly silenced as the Rainbow colored sonic cone expanded away from you toward lightning dust blasting her towards the ground away >from you.
"NICE CATCH DUST BUT THIS ISN'T HOOFBALL"
>You laughed to yourself as Dust fell towards the ground clawing at her ears with her hoofs.
"SEE YOU AT THE FINISH LINE DUST"

>If it was only that easy, After another quarter mile Lightning regained her pursuit.
>But the bigger problem wasn't her but her Stand.
>The Blue Pegasus Looking Stand flew past you at near super sonic speeds your [BLURRY] could only replicate.
>And that wasn't all it did.
>All the cloud cover began to condense into a single storm cloud which you now flew under.
>Worse off the Storm was forming several smaller vortex's
>Thou by themselves they were easy to dodge you were beginning to get boxed in by there sheer numbers and several were beginning to condense into single larger vortexes.
"This is ridiculous, how come everypony else gets ranged Stands able to produce this kind of power"

>The Hail from the plane was making you get a lot closer one of the Twisters, and though you were capable of resisting its speeds another problem presented itself.
>The downdraft began to freeze the hail which melted against you causing you to lose even more Speed.
>"That's right Dash as soon as Wind Riders [ACES HIGH] lowers the temperature your wings are gonna begin to freeze and then my Twisters are gonna suck you right in"
>You Winced as another piece of debris hit your midriff.

>Your Stand had been lowering the aircraft's speed of sound from the last pass and as it closed in you could see the Vapor trail around its tail.
>Passing cleanly between the prop blades with your awesome agility your Stand took the time to rob it of its sonic aftershock.
>[BLURRY] once again compressed the Shock into a disc, but instead of launching it [BLURRY] divided the energy between his hands
>But the maneuver cost you speed and Dust was now 5 meters away and flying parallel with you.
"I'm gonna beat the crap out of you Dust"
>"HAH as if, You change your course towards me and you'll fall back another 5 meters at this speed"
>She pointed at your Stand
>"It doesnt matter if you plan to boosts the strength of your punches with that shock wave your Stand only has a 2 meter range"

>[BLURRY] unleashed its shock wave, not in a single powerful wave but in separate smaller shocks in the form of punches.

>The aircraft looped back around and behind the 2 of us in hot pursuit engines screaming to match the fury of its pilot.

>The aircraft lurched violently to the left which threw you further down the wing away from the pilot almost rolling off.
>Now you sat held in place by your Stand on the right pylon while the wind rushed past you at blistering speeds.
>The pilots head came back into view blood running down his aged face, his right eye held shut by a large welt.

"HOLD YOUR COURSE AND DROP YOUR SPEEDS"

>The airplane slowed its speed and righted itself to something more manageable.
>Wind Rider grabbed at the control stick and tried desperately to move it to no avail.

"Its because my [CRADLE SONG] affects you on an subconscious level, and even thou you are physically manipulating your Stand, unconsciously you are resisting"

"It must be a killer headache too as you resist"

>Looking forward over the wing I could see the target a single red balloon emerging from a cloud.

>With each word the aircraft violently rolled

"HAHA I'M AMAZING!" I yelled releasing my Stands grip on the airplane and rolling on the soft cloud which was only 5ft below the plane.
>The airplane continued until it hit the cloud with the balloon.
>I could only barely see the Purple dragon sitting on the cloud opposite me as [TEMPLE OF THE DOG] got the slam dunk of the century.
>Twilight used her magic to levitate all the remaining bottles of soda Pinkie found, as well as every thing else on the train under pressure, and levitated them into the cloud.
>And Wind Rider flew straight through it thanks to your [CRADLE SONG]
>The explosion that followed was more like a very base pop which reverberated through the air blowing away all but the 2 clouds you and Spike sat on.
>Wind Riders ruined airplane glided for a few seconds before nosing down its wings ripping off and fading away behind it until it finally disappeared below the clouds.
