  1. Normally I don't put greentexts on my paste, but eh, whatever. Makes it look like I've done something lately.
  2.
  3. >Be in first year of high school
  4. >Going home for the day, but outside a young Manticore stops you
  5. >A manticore that's been rather forward with you
  6. >Starts giving you the business about how you belong to her and generally teasing/taunting you
  7. >Despite her bluster she's actually mostly harmless
  8. >Whenever you'd walk away in the past she'd just have a little fit and shake her paw at you while shouting "You'll be mine someday, you hear?!"
  9. >Whatever, today she's more forward than usual - she's getting really close
  10. >Backing away, she follows
  11. >Until you hear a noise, she stops dead in her tracks, and suddenly looks horrified
  12. >Her waving tail managed to get stuck in the bike rack
  13. >Her attempts to pull it free just seem to get it wedged in tighter, thanks to the spines
  14. >She looks to you with the slightest hints of tears in her eyes, but says nothing
  15.
  16. >You just kind of stare at her for a moment, then let out a deep sigh and help her out
  17. >Cop a feel on her tail while you're at it, making her gasp
  18. >Despite its leathery hide it's actually kinda soft and plush
  19. >But whatever
  20. >Pushing the spines in you carefully slide her tail free from between the bars
  21. >Her tail swishes about and she's giving you a complicated expression
  22. >You tell her that the least she could do is say thanks for helping her out there
  23. >For once she shrinks away, then mumbles sorry
  24. >Strange girl
  25. >You turn to get on the bus before it leaves, only to feel something tug your shirt
  26. >The manticore (Whose name is Amanda) asks why you 'saved' her
  27. >Confused, you just say it took ten seconds and while she's been annoying she's not all that bad
  28. >She blushes, then runs off while mumbling something
  29. >Next day at school she's more or less back to normal, but her voice is a little softer
  30. >During lunch something unusual happens
  31. >She sits down with you and your group of friends
  32. >Everyone is rather surprised and ask who she is
  33. >She proclaims you're her boyfriend now and it's only natural couples eat together
  34.
  35. >Decide to just let it happen, don't want to make a scene
  36. >Other than your friends who have suddenly become reticent and stopped talking about vidya, lunch continues as normal
  37. >As normal as could be considering Amanda is quite chatty, talking about her day and classes
  38. >What surprises you is that she doesn't comment on anyone and even tries to bring them into the conversation
  39. >It's obvious she's trying extremely hard to be friendly with everyone, but her tactics aren't exactly the best thing to use on a group of quieter people
  40. >After lunch every splits off and heads to their next classes, which means Amanda is walking with you since you both have the same Algebra class
  41. >Ask her why you're suddenly her boyfriend now
  42. >She sidesteps your question awkwardly, trying to continue her previous talk
  43. >Grab her paw and come to a halt, jerking her to a stop
  44. >Expect some kind of annoyed face but receive dokidoki expression instead
  45. >Drag her to a space under a stairway for a bit of privacy from the crush of the hallway crowds
  46. >Ask again, tell her you don't understand what she's up to
  47. >She's fidgeting with her tail in her paws, squishing it like a ball
  48. >Why does she have so many mood swings, why isn't she confident like at lunch
  49. >Ask her why she's intent on you so much despite the fact that you've known each other for just a few months and that you don't recall ever really hanging around her. Out of nowhere three weeks ago she just kind of latched onto you.
  50. >She tries to hide behind her tail, peeking out at you, but won't say anything
  51. >This Manticore
  52. >Fine, talk later, gotta get to class
  53. >She asks if you can hold her paw again
  54. >Fine whatever, if you're late for another class you'll get detention
  55. >Amanda has the dumbest smile on her face as you drag her down the hallway
  56. >Keeps looking at you during class, etc
  57. >After class she asks if you can come to her house after school. Needs help with math. Supposedly.
  58.
  59. >A little ambivalent, but you didn't have any other plans
  60. >Call your dad at home to ask if it's okay when school lets out. He's cool with it, even says he'll come pick you up later. There's a certain pride to his voice you can't place.
  61. >Amanda is thrilled and resumes being a chatterbox, all the way to the bus and on the ride to her house.
  62. >You can't figure out what causes her to be shy one moment and outgoing the next
  63. >At least until you get off the bus at the stop and walk the rest of the way. Seems being alone serves as the impetus for her to get all shy.
  64. >Makes you wonder if her extrovert personality is just a front
  65. >Rather than walking into her house, she has to unlock the door first. Seems you two will be alone.
  66. >You begin to have doubts and put together your dad's attitude with the fact that you're alone with a manticore.
  67. >Offers you a snack and following her into the kitchen you discover her mother left her a plate of food in the fridge for Amanda to heat up.
  68. >Apparently Amanda's mother is single, though Amanda doesn't elaborate on why.
  69. >Somewhat surprisingly, Amanda doesn't lead you to her room and instead brings you to the living room where she does indeed break out the Algebra book and ask for help.
  70. >Unfortunately for both of you it's the same section you've been having trouble with as well.
  71. >Work together for a while to figure it out.
  72. >She keeps touching you with her tail or shoulder or paw just enough make it look accidental, but it's happening far too often
  73. >Finally you two call it a night on the math, but Amanda wants you to stay a while
  74. >It's not too late, so why not
  75. >On the couch she props herself against you while you watch TV
  76. >During a movie you find interesting, but Amanda apparently did not, she falls asleep.
  77. >She does indeed snore. And purr. Snorepurrs.
  78. >Just as the movie is about to end, the door clacks and opens and you find yourself eye-to-eye with a much older Manticore
  79. >Neither of you say anything for a few very long seconds
  80. >She blinks, then grins and says you must be the boy her daughter has been talking about
  81. >You stumble out an introduction and try to peel away from Amanda, but trying to scoot back just causes her to flop over face-first onto your crotch
  82. >All you can do is flash the most pitiful "I can't think of anything to say" smile of your life
  83. >Older Manticore just ufufufufus and takes off her shoes. You finally notice she's wearing a pantsuit
  84. >Hangs her jacket up and mentions how Amanda has been talking about how you're the only boy that wasn't scared away by her
  85. >Padding over to you, she realizes she hasn't introduced herself and does so. Extending a paw to you, she says her name is Samantha.
  86. >With Amanda still snoring into your crotch Samantha asks if you'd like something to eat.
  87. >Decline, saying you'll probably have dinner when you get back home.
  88. >That's a shame, she says.
  89. >When you try to wake up Amanda she tells you to leave her be
  90. >Fair enough, though as Samantha plops down on the arm of the couch you think it's because she wants a captive audience
  91. >Twenty minutes later, that is indeed the case. She's been prodding you almost like an interrogation about your relationship with Amanda
  92. >Including embarrassing questions about your 'experience'
  93. >Several ufufufus and ara aras later, she tells you to wait there and heads upstairs.
  94. >You've got a bad feeling, but at least while she's gone Amanda wakes up
  95. >Tell her that her mother has come home, but neglect the chat you had
  96. >Hearing steps down the stairs, you both turn to look
  97. >Samantha is wearing naught but panties and a very loose and revealing t-shirt
  98. >Says she just likes to be comfortable and hopes you don't mind
  99. >Immediately makes her way over and sits down on the couch, sandwiching you between her and Amanda
  100. >Amanda vaults up and says you should get going
  101. >Samantha frowns and says you should stay longer
  102. >She has so much to talk to you about
  103.
  104. >You thank her for the offer but insist you should probably get going, don't want dinner to get cold and your parents don't want you out late on a schoolnight
  105. >Amanda readily agrees and sort of pushes you away and stands in between you and her mother while you call your dad to pick you up
  106. >Samantha simply clucks her tongue and mentions something to herself - though still loud enough for you to hear - that boys these days don't know what they're missing
  107. >Wisely Amanda suggests the two of you sit outside while waiting for your dad and you readily agree
  108. >On the stoop she apologizes for her mother and says she's been alone for a while
  109. >You wave it off, though inwardly you suspect Amanda's mother is the one influencing her to try and be 'outgoing'
  110. >She thanks you for helping her and how she liked spending time with you
  111. >Talk about school things, this and that, more idle, young conversation
  112. >The entire time she's smiling and her ears are twitching
  113. >When you see your dad's car pulling up and say how you'll be leaving, Amanda gives you a little peck on the cheek and says she can't wait to see you again tomorrow at school
  114. >y-you too
  115. >Rub at your cheek, get in car, wave goodbye to Amanda who whirls around and vanishes back into her house
  116. >Dad is giving you that look
  117. >Shit, he saw
  118. >The ride back he's trying to give you fatherly advice, mainly about not letting them force anything on you you're not comfortable with
  119. >Back home mom says nothing, but it's obvious she can smell the Manticore on you. You hear something about how she'll need to have a chat with your father later.
  120. >Whatever, time for vidya and then sleep
  121. >But you can't stop thinking about Amanda and touch your cheek again with a smile
  122. >Next day (and the weeks after) are pretty similar, dodging her mom when you're at her place and generally just hanging out and being a little awkward
  123. >Until one day, near year-end, she asks you over to her house on a weekend.
  124. >Her mom will be gone
  125.
  126. >Before you headed to school that Friday your dad gave you a bit of a talk, told you to take it easy. Something about being young and feisty, but not to go all night.
  127. >Amanda is super excited, even more than usual
  128. >Get into trouble for talking too much during Algebra, but whatever. Though you thought she was kind of, well, not bright at first, in time you've realized she's fairly clever.
  129. >Good grades and the like, quick to learn new things - such as the vidya you've gotten her to play, and other things
  130. >Finally arriving at her house, she asks what you wanna do
  131. >Time for vidya
  132. >Damn when did she get this good? Must've been practicing offline
  133. >In the circle of your friends that play, she's beating everyone, including you. If only just barely sometimes.
  134. >While watching her soundly defeat one of your friends 1v1, you realize something
  135. >She's always playing with *your* friends
  136. >You can't really recall Amanda ever going off to do things with her friends or invite you for that
  137. >Decide to leave it be, it'd probably only make things awkward
  138. >Besides, her hanging around has managed to brighten up your friends. Maybe because having a manticore around got the attention of other MGs
  139. >Break for dinner, do a bit of homework together after
  140. >She wants to watch a movie, and much to your surprise, it's something you'd like as well
  141. >But she has plans
  142. >Helping her, you clear a spot in front of the television and build something the even-younger you would've loved. And secretly, you still love it
  143. >A badass pillow fort
  144. >Amanda calls it her 'den' and perches inside, peering out at you with her red eyes and waving tail
  145. >During the movie she snuggles up against you, rubbing her cheek against yours and managing to get her mane all over you
  146. >You think yourself kinda lucky to get a cutie like her, seeing as how most other 9th grade MGs are trying to prove how 'mature' they are. Not much fun.
  147. >As the movie comes to a close, she asks if you wanna have some 'real' fun
  148.
  149. >You say sure, what does she have planned
  150. >She asks you to close your eyes
  151. >Question her, but she insists so you go along with it
  152. >You've got your eyes closed for a while but nothing is happening, though Amanda keeps telling you to keep them closed
  153. >You can sense that she's going off somewhere to get something
  154. >When she returns she tells you it's okay to open your eyes now
  155. >Finally
  156. >She's holding a box that contains an old game system along with a bunch of old games that you've only really heard about, but never played
  157. >Says she picked it up when she was at a garage sale with her mom and she's played a little
  158. >The two of you hurriedly hook it up to the big TV in her living room and play a bunch of old classic co-op games
  159. >A lot of them wind up being more fun to play together with her than new games
  160. >By the time you realize you're tired it's three in the morning and you've got nintendo thumb something fierce
  161. >So does she, she admits
  162. >You should've called your parents hours ago, but seeing as how they never called you maybe it's okay. Or maybe they were busy with something while you were out?
  163. >In a few minutes both of you suddenly fall very sleepy
  164. >You try to suggest sleeping on the couch or something, but Amanda is having none of it
  165. >She pats her blanket and says she wants to sleep with you, though you can tell she's struggling to appear confident and composed
  166. >Give her a little ear scratch and say sure
  167. >You didn't know a Manticore could make those kinds of happy noises
  168. >Laying down next to her she grins like a manic and throws her paws around you
  169. >She gives you a kiss, but it's still remarkably chaste
  170. >Two of you fall asleep, you with her paws around you
  171. >Though sleep doesn't last long
  172. >Still before the sun has risen but the vestiges of daylight appear, she wakes you up
  173. >She's terribly nervous, and asks if you really like her
  174.
  175. >Sure, you really like her
  176. >Of course she asks why, and you go on about why you think she's cute
  177. >You also realize that despite her being a manticore, she's never really been pushy about 'doing more.'
  178. >After ticking off what you like about her, she's red as can be. Her cheeks are almost the same color as her eyes.
  179. >Blurts out that she likes you because you were nice to her despite her being kind of mean early on and all kinds of other things, like how you're still doing your own thing despite her being around. Makes you fun to be around, that sort of thing
  180. >T-thanks
  181. >She's crept very close, her face inches from yours
  182. >You stare at each other
  183. >She fumbles forward, pushing you down with a kiss - this one full of passion
  184. >And a deep kiss at that, just as awkward as young love is wont to be
  185. >Her paws explore you as your hands explore hers, reaching up her shirt and pushing up her bra
  186. >[Making out intensifies]
  187. >Left breathless and hard, she gives you one of those looks and carefully lowers your pants, waiting for you to protest
  188. >When you don't, she begins to stroke you, but also presents her tail to you
  189. >Finger her tail while she gives you a pawjob
  190. >Neither of you last very long, you first and then her quickly after
  191. >Didn't know tails were that sensitive
  192. >But the afterglow is wonderful, if a little sticky
  193. >She nuzzles up against you, then suggests the two of you get cleaned up
  194. >Wash up separately, but she's slipped into a big over-sized shirt and invites you back to her 'cuddle-cave'
  195. >The two of you sleep until noon, her using you like a daki
  196. >wake up, eat some lunch, play vidya all day - all weekend
  197. >That night is another make-out and then outercourse session, though the second time around she's more sure of herself and strips down so you can see her entirely nude
  198. >Best weekend ever
  199. >Though not every time you're alone together, she is pretty frisky
  200. >Finally oral each other several months later
  201. >But then, one day almost a full year later
  202.
  203. >In the year you've both grown, though Amanda has grown out as well as up
  204. >Her mother still tries to hit on you and you've walked in on her by 'accident' more than a few times
  205. >You hope Amanda has an ass and tits like those one day, though her youth has its advantages
  206. >Gaming night at a friend's house, playing various tabletop games and having fun
  207. >Thanks to a bit of liquor some people are getting spirited and a werecat is licking everyone, paying particular attention to a friend of yours that's been kind of mopey
  208. >Good for him
  209. >As the night winds down and people leave, Amanda says she has something she needs to talk about with you
  210. >Outside you guys find a quiet place to chat
  211. >She's trying to be nonchalant but it's obvious something is weighing heavily on her mind
  212. >She goes on about how she really likes you, then bites her lip and shakes her head
  213. >She loves you, she corrects herself
  214. >It's hard to say, but you manage to say you love her, too
  215. >Her smile almost gives you a heart attack
  216. >And then she starts crying
  217. >You try to comfort her, asking what's wrong, but that just makes her cry harder
  218. >Her mom got a promotion at work but has to change offices, so she'll be moving
  219. >Now you're crying too
  220. >She's know for a while but didn't want to say anything because it'd just make you sad
  221. >She'll be leaving tomorrow
  222. >Almost immediately she asks if you want to do something to remember each other by
  223. >You've got a pretty good idea what it is, and agree
  224. >Older friend gives you two a ride to Amanda's place, where she slips in. Indeed her house stuff is all boxed up.
  225. >She comes back with a blanket and shoos you out of the house before her mother knows she got back home
  226. >Amanda leads you to a nearby park with a goofy grin on her face
  227. >Away from prying eyes, she places the blanket on the ground and gives you a deep kiss, asking if you're ready
  228. >Y-yeah, you are, and the two of you fumble with taking the other's clothes off
  229. >Both of you are naked in the warm summer night, and while still kissing she leads you to the ground
  230. >A little rushed, hurried foreplay - she's eager to get to the 'good' part
  231. >Holding your hands in her paws, she mounts you and slides down very, very slowly, biting her lip the whole time
  232. >For a long, slow while, the two of you savor losing your virginities to each other
  233. >And for the first time ever, she asks to use her barbs so you can go at it until the dawn
  234. >Of course, you agree
  235. >Awkward virgin sex in every position the two of you can think of with plenty of cuddles and closeness
  236. >But eventually it must end, and the time for her departure nears
  237. >You both try not to cry, but that last all of 30 seconds as you hug and whisper goodbyes forever
  238. >You'll have phones and the internet to keep in touch, but it's not quite the same. It never is
  239. >One last kiss goodbye, and she's gone
  240. >Months pass, then years
  241. >There's lots of webcam masturbation shows and the like, but it's not quite the same as sharing warmth
  242. >Your heart aches, and so does hers
  243. >You've talked many times about the whole long distance thing
  244. >In your senior year of highschool you wonder if it'd be better to... start seeing someone else
  245. >When you bring it up with Amanda she doesn't say yes or no, but talks about how she still loves you
  246. >Maybe you two could still go to college together like you were planning
  247. >Again she skirts the question
  248. >You bring out the big guns and tell her you were planning on visiting her, you've saved some money from a part-time job and can afford the airfare and a couple days at a hotel if her mom doesn't approve of you being in the same house
  249. >She laughs and says her mom wouldn't mind, but again, doesn't really answer
  250. >When pressed she says she needs some time to think
  251. >Agree to give her some time and hang up for the night
  252. >But there are some bad, nagging questions in your mind
  253. >Sleep is difficult, but the next day arrives
  254. >You're not sure if you should talk to her or wait
  255.
  256. >A few days slip by, but she never really gets back to you
  257. >You talk a little, but she doesn't mention anything and you don't bring it up
  258. >Though you can still tell her mood changes when talking to you, even through text
  259. >Finally, a week later, she calls you
  260. >Not a text message or chat message, but calls your phone
  261. >She hasn't done that in a long time
  262. >She asks if it's okay to talk about what you guys were going on about earlier
  263. >When you agree, she takes a deep breath.
  264. >Amanda tells you about how she's felt, how she never imagined a little high school romance would last this long - especially when so far apart.
  265. >Since those days, she'd never been quite as happy
  266. >Yeah, you agree, things just aren't the same
  267. >But it'll only be a few more months until the summer and then just a few more until college starts!
  268. >You'll be able to get an apartment together and all that fun stuff, just like old times
  269. >You can hear her laugh, but it quickly breaks into sniffling
  270. >Yeah, old times she says
  271. >Then, in a rush of emotion she says she really does still love you, but it's been so hard to be alone, she's barely been able to make any friends
  272. >She was weak and at a party, trying to fit in, make friends
  273. >She got a little tipsy
  274. >You don't want to hear it
  275. >She's crying full-on now
  276. >She's sorry, so very sorry
  277. >But, she manages to add, she didn't go all the way
  278. >Just some kissing and touching and she immediately regretted it and left
  279. >You have no idea what to say, or what you should even feel right now
  280. >After a long, awkward silence she asks in a very quiet, scared voice if you hate her now
  281. >You try to think of words, but everything is so, so complicated.
  282. >Are you two even still technically a couple? It's been two years since you last even touched her
  283. >Again she asks - pleads - what you think of her now
  284. >Maybe that's why she's been so weird about the topic
  285.
  286. >It's difficult to express what you feel, but you can't be angry with Amanda
  287. >No one who cries like that over what they did could possibly not regret it
  288. >And considering how long apart you'd been, you honestly had expected far, far worse
  289. >Like she already had another boyfriend
  290. >Instead she's still the cuddlecore you've always known
  291. >You tell her you love her and that there's nothing to forgive
  292. >A little on the awkward side, but young love and such
  293. >You continue on about how you really want to move in together for college, and it's just a little bit longer
  294. >Finally you get an answer out of her - yes
  295. >She sounds so happy it's hard not to get swept up with her emotions
  296. >It also makes you feel a tinge of regret at ever doubting her - maybe you were doubting yourself more than anything
  297. >But that's in the past, and you do want to visit her - and soon
  298. >After saying your goodnights and other sappy teenage sayings, you hatch a plan
  299. >Calling Amanda's house in the morning when you think Samantha's mom should be up, it pays off
  300. >Doing your best to avoid the landmines the sultry Manticore is laying and practically having phone sex with you right then, you manage to ask if it would be alright for you to visit her daughter
  301. >A long sigh, but sure, it's fine
  302. >Then you mention money. Maybe half?
  303. >To your surprise she agrees to pay for the full airfare, even scolding you on taking so long and how her poor daughter has been so alone and you can't believe the sex toys she has in her room-
  304. >You're not sure how to continue this conversation, moving to simply ignore her last bits altogether
  305. >It's agreed, you'll come out in a month. You'll need to convince your parents, but you're sure they'll go along with it.
  306. >And they do
  307. >You can't wait for the day to come, and it's quite hard to keep it a secret, but finally it does arrive. Before you flight you tell Amanda you'll talk to her soon
  308. >She doesn't quite get what you mean, but that's okay
  309. >You take a cab from the airport to Amanda's house, marveling for a moment at it
  310. >Quite the nice place they've got now
  311. >You ring the doorbell, and wait - practically shaking with excitement
  312. >The face that answers the door makes you heart leap, it's been far too long
  313. >Amanda's features go from blank to confusion, then wide-eyed surprise
  314. >And then the waterworks
  315. >She is emotional, isn't she
  316. >Swinging the door open so hard she nearly tears it off the hinges she grabs your arm and drags you inside
  317. >Wordlessly she gives you the biggest hug of your life, and considering how she's grown and is as tall as you now, she's able to lift you off the ground in a massive bear-hug
  318. >Even her tail and wings wrap around you
  319. >Then come the kisses, which you eagerly return
  320. >Once her initial high wears off, she lets you down and then demands to know how you got there
  321. >Explanation, including how Samantha's mother is in on it
  322. >She's entirely beside herself, but finally settles on inviting you up to her room
  323. >You gulp, thinking she's going to want to 'catch up'
  324. >Says her mother won't be home for a while
  325. >Her room is pretty decked out, you're mad jelly
  326. >You also notice she's got quite the collection of game systems and even a little table still cluttered with paint and tools to work on game miniatures
  327. >The two of you chatter about this and that, not really catching up since you've still been talking, but it's definitely nice
  328. >She finally asks if you wanna do something for old time's sake, but it's kind of embarrassing
  329. >S-sure
  330. >You prepare to be ravished by Amanda
  331. >Instead you're let down, but only for a moment
  332. >She throws all her bedding to the ground and begins moving some of her furniture
  333. >She wouldn't
  334. >She would
  335. >She asks if you're gonna help build an awesome fort
  336. >Your comments about age mean nothing to her
  337. >A few minutes later, you're now in the cuddle-cave Mk. II
  338.
  339. >You try to act like you're too mature for it, but there is a certain foolish charm to it
  340. >Her prodding you and poking your cheek and carrying on isn't helping you keep a straight face
  341. >She gives you a sly smile as your mature facade cracks
  342. >The television needs to be repositioned for your new purposes, but once it's done you can now game safely from the comfort of her pillow fort
  343. >Just like old times, laughing and accusing each other when someone dies and rubbing shoulders
  344. >Being with her makes you feel calm, despite all the excitement going on
  345. >Though things aren't all chaste and innocent forever
  346. >Bit by bit she wriggles on top of you, playing from atop your back
  347. >When you finally lose a match she laughs haughtily in victory, but before you can complain further she nibbles on your ear
  348. >Like a switch you're suddenly aware of certain things, such as her breasts pushing into your back, her weight, her warmth, her scent
  349. >She smells so very nice, and maybe that's what's comforting
  350. >Amanda slips her paws under your shirt and massages your back and shoulder with her big meaty paws
  351. >She whispers how she's missed holding you
  352. >Likewise, you say, trying to pull an expert move at the same time of reaching back to take hold of her arm and roll over at the same time
  353. >Your end goal was to give her the smoothest kiss of her life, but instead you're just kind of tangled up together
  354. >You'll have to settle for kissing her collar bone
  355. >Which actually winds up being far more effective than you could've dreamed
  356. >Instant purring and a flash of her ruby eyes, demanding you continue
  357. >One thing leads to another and you're both very much naked, exploring one another as if it was the first time
  358. >Indeed it may as well have been considering how much you'd both changed physically in those two years
  359. >You're nearly interrupted by Samantha returning home, but you figure she's wise to what's going on
  360. >Amanda agrees
  361. >No longer hurried, the two of you enjoy a long, slow night together
  362.
  363. >Of course, there were some fairly intense moments where Amanda rode you like a bucking bull
  364. >Her personality certainly gets a little more aggressive during the act, but that's not really unusual for a Manticore
  365. >Completely ignoring her studies and yours, the weekend is a hedonistic dream of lazing about, gaming, sex, and eating some wonderful food prepared by Samantha
  366. >She's still trying to get at you, but it seems more to annoy Amanda than anything
  367. >You hope
  368. >But, sadly, the time comes for you to return home far too soon
  369. >The emotional Manticore doesn't cry when you leave this time, instead giving you another massive hug at the terminal and tells you that she'll see you soon
  370. >Life continues as it was before, though being with her for that short time made everything feel 'right' with the world again
  371. >Who knew dumb, young love could last so long?
  372. >Summer rolls along, complete with plans for living together
  373. >Both of you settled on a university together that while not exactly what either of you wanted to start with, you'll make it work out
  374. >Though to live in an apartment near the campus you'll both need to work to help pay for everything
  375. >Finally the day comes and you two meet up before heading to your new home together
  376. >Things settle in pretty quickly after moving in, but the furnishings are a sad cry from your home or Amanda's
  377. >College Lyfe
  378. >Develop a taste for tuna and ramen
  379. >Cramped living spaces and a tiny bathroom
  380. >Neither of you minded too much, because hey, you were finally together
  381. >The first semester was pretty easy, just some intro classes that everyone has to take
  382. >Second semester is pretty much the same, taking the same general eds so you can be in the same classes
  383. >Develop a reputation for being 'that couple that's always together'
  384. >Soon, unfortunately conflicting class schedules and work means there are days where you only see Amanda for an hour or two
  385. >Ramping workloads are taking their toll
  386.
  387. >You find yourself snapping at each other and there's been more than one night where someone slept on the couch
  388. >During a chat with your dad one day he mentions that everyone fights and argues, but what matters is that you remember you love each, forgive, and move on
  389. >To help with the forgiveness he slips you a bit of money and tells you to not tell your mother
  390. >Do something nice for Amanda
  391. >You've got an idea already, something cheesy and stupid - just the way she likes it.
  392. >And the way you've come to like it.
  393. >Trying to find a day she doesn't have work and a late class is difficult, and you have to wait longer than you'd have liked
  394. >But finally the stars align - even if it means having to ditch your own classes for the day and calling in sick for work
  395. >While she's out you do all the setup
  396. >It'll be perfect
  397. >Once done, you wait outside the door to your apartment to greet Amanda
  398. >Of course she gives you the eye, trying to figure out what's going on
  399. >especially from your rather suspicious acting
  400. >Tell her it's a surprise and give her a wrap to cover her eyes then lead her in and help her get comfy. Remove her day clothes and get her into some comfy, fuzzy pajamas
  401. >Doorbell rings, answer it while she's still blindfolded, make sure not to let her take it off
  402. >Return, and though you tried you can see her nose wiggling and she's 'looking' right at you
  403. >Shit
  404. >You parade her to the best spot and drop the blindfold
  405. >She blinks, staring at the Cuddle Cave Mk. III
  406. >Setup for an optimal gaming experience
  407. >Complete with a large, greasy pizza and a bunch of soda, and some new vidya
  408. >She wants to protest, but she knows you wouldn't touch your limited funds for this
  409. >Instead just gives you a stupid smile with her paws on her hips
  410. >How long has it been since you two had a night like this? Far too long
  411. >For one night, at least, you're both 14 again
  412. >And sets a foundation for being 14 every now and then throughout the years
  413. >Even when you get married and have a daughter
