  1. >You carry IE over to the couch and set her down.
  2. >You sit next to her and look at your laptop
  3. >It looks ok, but you could feel the heat it was giving off.
  4. >It would at least be a few hours before it was working.
  5. >You sit next to IE, who is staring at you.
  6. >It was a little unnerving, but at the same time it was kind of cute.
  7. “Hey IE, you said before you could do the same things as a normal browser, right?”
  8. >”You bet I can! Watch this.”
  9. >She blinked a few times, and the welcome page flashed in front of her.
  10. >’Now that’s pretty cool’
  11. >”So is there anything you wanted to look up Anon?”
  12. “Uh, yeah. Let’s check the news. I want to see if other people are experiencing this”
  13. >”Sure thing!”
  14. >She brings up a news page, the way she’s positioned it’s hard to read.
  15. “IE, could you move so I can read the page easier?”
  16. >She nods and tries to position herself in front of you.
  17. >After leaning over and almost falling off the couch, she decides to climb on the back of your neck.
  18. “IE, what are you doing?”
  19. >”I'm trying to find a comfortable spot, and your head is pretty comfortable. Plus, it’s really cool up here.
  20. >She shines the page down in front of you, which you can now read perfectly.
  21. >There is a method to her madness apparently.
  22. >You scan the headlines for anything that seems relevant.
  23. >You figure that computers that produce living things must be important.
  24. >But nothing seems to stand out.
  25. “Huh. I guess that not very many people are experiencing this.”
  26. >”And is that a good thing”
  27. “I dunno. No news is good news, I guess”
  28. >You look through the headlines once more, but nothing stands out.
  29. >You stifle a yawn and look at the clock in the corner.
  30. >It’s a little bit after midnight.
  31. >Times flies when you meet a talking pony.
  32. >You close the window and pick IE up off your head and set her on your lap.
  33. “So where do you feel like sleeping tonight?”
  34. >”I thought I was gonna sleep right here, if that’s ok with you and all.”
  35. >You could tell she was tired as well.
  36. >Moving her off your lap, you go to your room and grab a blanket.
  37. >By the time you return, she’s already curled up into a ball
  38. “Here, in case you gets cold”
  39. >She gives a small smile as thanks, and you cover her up.
  40. >”Goodnight Anon.”
  41. “G’night IE.”
  42. >You head into your room and plop down onto your bed.
  43. >You’re so tired that you don’t even bother getting undressed.
  44. >After a few minutes, you manage to drift off to sleep.
  45.
  46.
  47. >You wake up to a small tapping noise.
  48. >Glancing over at your clock, you see that it’s not even three yet.
  49. >What ungodly thing could have woken you up at this hour?
  50. >”Hey Anon…”
  51. >Oh yeah, the pony
  52. >You roll over and look at her.
  53. “What is it, IE?”
  54. >”Well, um, I was wondering if I could sleep with you tonight. You see, I was lonely sitting out there all alone and I thought I could come and sleep with you.”
  55. >Is this the same pony as before?
  56. “Sure you can IE. You could have come in here in the first place.”
  57. >She crawls in next to you, gives you a sleepy smile, and gives you a small lick on your face as thanks.
  58. >Your hearts melts right there as she snuggles closer to you.
  59. >Maybe having a little pony around wouldn’t be so bad.
