  1. (Imperium): Abhorash says, "Progeny. I would speak with those who lead my Blood. Or in their place, those would would serve as their seconds."
  2.
  3. (Imperium): Marharet says, "I will represent House D'baen, Primus."
  4.
  5. (run to Abhorash)
  6.
  7. Marharet swiftly gallops in from the east.
  8.
  9. Marharet performs a graceful curtsey towards Abhorash.
  10.
  11. You have emoted: Sarita offers Abhorash a respectful curtsey as she says, "I speak for the House Bahir'an, Your Imperial Majesty."
  12.
  13. Wryly, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "It seems I have wayward children who cannot hear my call. Let us see if I cannot rouse them."
  14.
  15. Abhorash waves his hand dismissively at the world, clearly demonstrating his boredom.
  16.
  17. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "The chosen few it must be then."
  18.
  19. Marharet tilts her head and listens intently to Abhorash.
  20.
  21. Daskalos Qefin yells, "Hiya, Bloodloch."
  22.
  23. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Though you seem to have an infestation at the moment."
  24.
  25. Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom says, "It seems that way. He doesn't seem to take a hint."
  26.
  27. With a dismissive sneer, Abhorash raises his hands towards the firmament, and the ground below cracks and groans in response. Several undead minions pull themselves out of the ground to stand protectively before their master.
  28.
  29. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Mm, my minions shall deal with him if he poses a problem to me directly."
  30.
  31. Erzsebet appears next to Abhorash, a startled look on her face.
  32.
  33. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "So few, but it will serve for now."
  34.
  35. Abhorash nods his head at Erzsebet.
  36.
  37. Marharet smiles wryly.
  38.
  39. Erzsebet shifts her balance slightly, pushing the masked portion of her headdress back from her eyes. "Evening, Primus. Cousins."
  40.
  41. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "There, now perhaps we will have silence for a moment."
  42.
  43. Abhorash smiles wryly.
  44.
  45. Marharet inclines her head politely to Erzsebet.
  46.
  47. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "I do detest spies."
  48.
  49. Abhorash waves his hand dismissively at the world, clearly demonstrating his boredom.
  50.
  51. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Now then."
  52.
  53. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "I have awoken, once more, for what will be a very... prolonged stay this time."
  54.
  55. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "As such, I am sorry to say that things as they are now shall not continue to be."
  56.
  57. You have emoted: Sarita's expression changes slightly, her eyes intent on Abhorash's face as she listens.
  58.
  59. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "What I say onto you, you would do well to listen and spread to those who you would lead."
  60.
  61. Erzsebet cants her head to the side, clearly listening, though her expression is largely unchanged.
  62.
  63. Marharet narrows her eyes slightly, tilting her head in curiosity.
  64.
  65. Wryly, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "This, pitiful Imperium that my Childer sought to create and manage your existences with will be no more. It has failed in their vision, as some of you may already feel and acknowledge. It fails in -my- vision."
  66.
  67. Erzsebet's lips twitch slightly, though she largely represses the smirk that threatens to cross her features, and continues to say nothing.
  68.
  69. Marharet blinks.
  70.
  71. You have emoted: Sarita's only visible reaction is a brief moment where she looks away from Abhorash, eyes darting towards a bookshelf as she straightens her posture before looking back.
  72.
  73. Marharet tells you, "Unexpected..."
  74.
  75. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Mm, there is a point to be made here. In any case."
  76.
  77. Abhorash waves his hand dismissively at the world, clearly demonstrating his boredom.
  78.
  79. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a asks, "And that point is?"
  80.
  81. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "I will be dissolving this pitiful creation of my Childer that they had hoped to govern you by. This will perhaps not overly surprise some of you, and may be even welcomed by others."
  82.
  83. Marharet glances as Erzsebet. "Will there be some kind of organisation to replace it?"
  84.
  85. Erzsebet nods her head in simple acceptance of this, otherwise returning to silence.
  86.
  87. Abhorash purses his lips pensively, gazing thoughtfully at some distant point.
  88.
  89. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a asks, "Why do we need another organization that will only fall to the same failure of Goal Acheivement as the Imperium?"
  90.
  91. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a, "Ve'kahi, while I adore the edge to your tongue, do control it a bit better."
  92.
  93. Marharet smirks.
  94.
  95. Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom says, "I believe the Imperium can still act as a unifying force for the Consanguine. Maybe I am idealistic."
  96.
  97. Marharet shrugs helplessly.
  98.
  99. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "If a thing must fail, it does so by the cause of those who lead and shape it."
  100.
  101. Suddenly, you ask, "May I speak, Grandsire?"
  102.
  103. Nodding once, Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "Apologies, Primus."
  104.
  105. Abhorash spares a brief glance to Erzsebet. "Some of you may shun the yoke-"
  106.
  107. Abhorash stares implacably at you.
  108.
  109. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Speak, Childe."
  110.
  111. You have emoted: Sarita twines her fingers together tightly, knuckles whitening as she says, "As Her Grace mentioned, there have been those of us in the Imperium who have desired and in recent years begun taking steps towards giving the Imperium more meaning than it has during the time any of us had previously spent in it. It may be that the means by which it was created do not lend the Imperium towards those ends now, but even if it were destroyed, I feel fairly confident that members of those Houses will still strive to see that unity achieved by some other means."
  112.
  113. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a asks, "All due respect, Cousin, if the Imperium is not necessary for Consanguinic Unity, why do you feel you need it to elicit that effect?"
  114.
  115. Marharet nods her head at you.
  116.
  117. Erzsebet shrugs slightly, making an expansive gesture towards Abhorash, obviously deferring her attention back to him in lieu of speaking further.
  118.
  119. Abhorash regards you in silence until you finishes. "The moment for such work has long passed. There was ample time to make something of it, and all it has done under the care of you and the others who would lead it is to serve as a wedge to split my Blood apart".
  120.
  121. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a, "Would not you agree, Ve'kahi?"
  122.
  123. Ezalor swiftly gallops in from the east.
  124.
  125. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "I would. Frankly, the concept of the Imperium, in my opinion, began to fail the second you no longer stood at its head."
  126.
  127. Wryly, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a, "Indeed."
  128.
  129. Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen says, "It appears I'm late to the party."
  130.
  131. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Thus it will be no more."
  132.
  133. You have emoted: Sarita presses her lips together, almost as tightly at the hands she still holds clasped before her.
  134.
  135. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "What comes of dissolving it may yet serve some purpose, though the what and the how will be made available to you very soon."
  136.
  137. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "But know this."
  138.
  139. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Whatever comes will no longer be without my guidance."
  140.
  141. Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "Do you plan to take on new Childer?"
  142.
  143. Abhorash stares implacably at Marharet.
  144.
  145. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom, "Do you so hunger for position, Childe?"
  146.
  147. Marharet shakes her head.
  148.
  149. Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom says, "I am content. I was merely curious."
  150.
  151. Erzsebet's eyes sparkle with amusement.
  152.
  153. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Good."
  154.
  155. Arthas arrives from the east.
  156.
  157. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Now, allow us to move onto that which will make your blood boil to hear."
  158.
  159. Arthas steps into the library with long strides, offering a faint nod to all the familiar faces before he bows to Abhorash. "Primus."
  160.
  161. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Long has my Gift been diluted. What was once great and ancient is now no more. The Houses that I saw the rise of are in most cases, no longer worthy."
  162.
  163. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a, "Some would bid me take action against you, Ve'kahi."
  164.
  165. Marharet chews thoughtfully on her lip.
  166.
  167. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "The Voltaire approached Me, Primus--I only set the terms that were accceptable to us, and where once there were two houses dying or worse, there now is one that thrives--I apologize for nothing in that regard, as the Voltaire were free to choose against the merge at any time."
  168.
  169. "You mistake my words, Ve'kahi," Abhorash says with a ghost of a smile.
  170.
  171. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a, "You have done a service to me, and in time I may choose to reward you for it."
  172.
  173. Looking around to those gathered, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "No this, Voltaire shall not be the last to be no more."
  174.
  175. Marharet creases her brow in a frown.
  176.
  177. You have emoted: Sarita's eyebrows rise slightly, but she remains quiet and motionless otherwise.
  178.
  179. Nodding in acceptance, a thoughtful look on her face, Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "Noted, Primus."
  180.
  181. Arthas moves his hands to clasp them behind his back, watching the exchange inbetween Erzsebet and Abhorash. Few moments later as the two quiets, he speaks up and does so in a polite tone. "Primus, You are our elder and we exist through you. However I still would like to ask one thing, if possible."
  182.
  183. Abhorash stares implacably at Arthas.
  184.
  185. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Speak, Childe."
  186.
  187. Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "Why is it you choose to reward a House that desires no part within the Imperium and thus outright denying Your legacy? Every House had their ups and down during your Torpor. Something that had distrubed select few of us, at least that I know of. Not many has left that actually cares about the Imperium and even so within our Houses. The Imperium may no longer be the ruling embodiment of the Consanguine, but it to me while I served as the Mazhar of Nebre'seir and to some other House Leaders existed as the Legacy of the Consanguine and Yourself."
  188.
  189. Abhorash stares implacably at Arthas.
  190.
  191. Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says, "Your return is most rewarding, for I will never forget the day I've laid eyes on you, Primus. However Voltaire and other Houses were formed by your Command in time and they have represented some values of the Consanguine. All have suceeded where all have failed. But without our Legacies, how are we any different?"
  192.
  193. You tell Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir, "You, ah..."
  194.
  195. Arthas tells you, "So I hear."
  196.
  197. Abhorash slowly lifts a hand, turning his gaze from Arthas.
  198.
  199. Erzsebet laughs abruptly, shaking her head at Arthas, amusement clearly stamped on her face. She coughs after a moment, belatedly concealing any auditory sounds of her mirth before returning her serpentine gaze to Abhorash.
  200.
  201. Infin enters from the east, riding a misty grey mare.
  202.
  203. Infin inclines his head politely to those around him.
  204.
  205. Marharet inclines her head politely to Infin.
  206.
  207. Infin bows respectfully to Abhorash.
  208.
  209. Prince Infin Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "Grand Sire."
  210.
  211. Speech slow and measured, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Which of you here doubts that if I but reached out and willed it, I could tear the Gift from you for eternity?"
  212.
  213. Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom says, "Not I, Primus."
  214.
  215. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "On something like that, only a fool would call your bluff even if they had doubt."
  216.
  217. You have emoted: Sarita looks taken aback, but manages to say, "I would think you quite capable of that and much more."
  218.
  219. Erzsebet nods her head at you, showing her acceptance.
  220.
  221. Ezalor's eyes narrow slightly at the words. "You are not angered at the dissolution of the legacies of your Childer? Those raised and chosen by yourself to shape our race. Though they no longer rise, some of us still hold true to the nobility of Blood established long ago." He nods once at Arthas, "We have toiled to adhere to our history and status. Forgive me if I am mistaken, but our Blood has always been what set us apart from others, your own Blood of royalty among the hordes of commoners. Is this not what we were taught, the basis of our entire race?"
  222.
  223. Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "That is the problem Primus. While I do not doubt nor would ever offend you... I find it entirely pointless to be a Consanguine. If it is just to be able to use the abilities of one. But not actually be a Consanguine, to disregard the legacies
  224. we were taught. To turn our back on our traditions."
  225.
  226. Simply, Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says to Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen, "Except...-ALL- blood stems from the Primus."
  227.
  228. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir, "If you find it so pointless to bear my Gift, there are ways to fix such an opinion."
  229.
  230. Marharet winces in pain.
  231.
  232. Abhorash turns his attention from Arthas to look upon Ezalor.
  233.
  234. Ezalor raises an eyebrow at Erzsebet, "What do you mean by that?"
  235.
  236. Arthas tells you, "Why exactly does the Primus not care at all for the legacies?"
  237.
  238. Arthas tells you, "Or the Pride and traditions of the Consanguine?"
  239.
  240. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says to Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen, "I mean that your bloodline--mine--they're -all- HIS bloodline. Your blood is no more royal than every other Vampire who stems from his line--which again, is all of the sentient ones."
  241.
  242. Abhorash rubs his temples in frustration.
  243.
  244. You tell Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir, "I think you would be best advised to hear what he said prior to your arrival before assuming such things."
  245.
  246. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to you, "Do you understand now?"
  247.
  248. Arthas tells you, "My point was clear. No?"
  249.
  250. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "In the presence of your creator, you snipe and complain. Is this my Legacy?"
  251.
  252. Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says, "I can't care for whose blood is more loyal than the other's. The Royalty that was given back in time is long over with the changes. I'd however say that D'baen leadership was select few who had held up to the high standarts of the Consanguine."
  253.
  254. Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen says, "So was my point. I do not claim superiority over any other Consanguine, but as a race we are fundamentally above those who do not carry the noble Blood of the Primus. Such was the way I was taught, such was the way I have shaped my existence and my own Childer. That the basest of the Consanguine, incompetent though they may be, still rise above those who do not carry the Blood of the Primus."
  255.
  256. You have emoted: "I..." Sarita begins, glancing around the library at the others.
  257.
  258. Arch Duchess Marharet D'baen, Caliginous Phantom says, "Silence, all of you. Allow the Primus to speak."
  259.
  260. Abhorash exhales a ragged, albeit unneeded breath.
  261.
  262. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "This is what I wake to, this is what my progeny has become."
  263.
  264. Macavity swiftly gallops in from the east.
  265.
  266. Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says, "With all due respect, while the method may not be up to par nor respectful. It is a good thing that people still fights over the matter of Consanguine and that of the Legacies. It at least means that some people still care."
  267.
  268. Macavity bows respectfully to Abhorash.
  269.
  270. Abhorash stares implacably at Arthas.
  271.
  272. Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen says, "I do not mean disrespect, Primus. But I have carried myself thusly for all my years believing such to be your words. Your will. Your legacy."
  273.
  274. Erzsebet shakes her head once, but says nothing further, simply watching Abhorash with serpentine eyes.
  275.
  276. Ezalor gives a personal journal entitled, "A copy of The Teachings of a King: A Collection of King Abhorash Nehekhara's Words of Wisdom" to Abhorash.
  277.
  278. Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen says, "I have carried that with me since I was a Thrall."
  279.
  280. Kiershu swiftly gallops in from the east.
  281.
  282. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a asks, "Do you really think he needs a refresher course?"
  283.
  284. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen, "You believe my Legacy is to turn into a bunch of squabbling children? For that is what I am addressing."
  285.
  286. Kiershu catches Abhorash's eye and locks gaze before dazzling him with a curtsey that would put royalty to shame.
  287.
  288. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "The here and now."
  289.
  290. Arch Duke Ezalor D'baen says, "The here and now then. What is your present will?"
  291.
  292. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "If you would hear my words on the matter of Voltaire, as I have been more than willing to give, then silence yourselves and listen. For I grow weary of being talked over by the likes of my own Blood."
  293.
  294. Shixblix swiftly gallops in from the east.
  295.
  296. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Good, now listen."
  297.
  298. Ezalor nods once deferentially, crossing his arms beneath his chest as he stares intently at Abhorash with the full weight of his attention.
  299.
  300. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "I understand the distaste some of you feel in the loss of Voltaire. But what has the Blood really lost? History, parchment, a name?"
  301.
  302. Kiershu bares her teeth in a feral grin.
  303.
  304. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Do you not all draw your existence from me? Be you D'baen, Bahir'an, Nebre'seir, or even Ve'kahi?"
  305.
  306. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "Indeed, we do."
  307.
  308. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "What has the Blood itself lost?"
  309.
  310. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "What has -my- Blood lost?"
  311.
  312. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Can any of you tell me, truly?"
  313.
  314. Envoy of Knowledge, Macavity Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says, "Drive."
  315.
  316. Grand Duchess Kiershu Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says, "Unity."
  317.
  318. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "In general maybe, not in relation to the Voltaire."
  319.
  320. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "The loss of Voltaire has caused this? As this is what we are speaking of."
  321.
  322. Abhorash tilts his head curiously.
  323.
  324. Prince Infin Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says, "I do not feel we have really lost anything. We have been in chaos for many years, long before Voltaire was merged."
  325.
  326. Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says to Primus Abhorash Nehekhara, "It lost its Pride."
  327.
  328. Envoy of Knowledge, Macavity Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says, "Ah I was speaking in general, my apologies."
  329.
  330. Erzsebet snorts arrogantly.
  331.
  332. Kiershu nods her head at Macavity.
  333.
  334. Sneering, Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "Pride?"
  335.
  336. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "If that is all that has been lost, then surely you are all not as bad off as you would make it."
  337.
  338. Nodding his head firmly at Abhorash, Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir says, "If these houses matter not at all, then why do we exist? If some other house can absorb each other, why were these houses formed? I am a Nebre'seir, Not a Ve'kahi, Not a Bahir'an not anything, Nebre'seir. A Nebre'seir cannot be something else but just what it is: Nebre'seir. We were raised in a manner that was taught to us by our Grand Sire. I'm sure Voltaire had a similar method in raising their thralls and young ones. But if one house can absorb another, then why are there these houses Sire?"
  339.
  340. Grand Duchess Kiershu Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says, "To Aborash We have lost nothing but a name regarding Voltaire. I mean't in general. Forgive me, Your Imperial Majesty. That is my opinion anyway."
  341.
  342. Abhorash gives Arthas a pained sigh.
  343.
  344. Nucemail Erzsebet Ve'kahi, Padishe Nimir'a says, "You haven't even lost that--a name on a list maybe, but the members are all still wearing it."
  345.
  346. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says to Grand Duke Arthas Nebre'seir, "I am slowly beginning to lose my forgiveness for your ignorance, Childe."
  347.
  348. Primus Abhorash Nehekhara says, "It is not that a House matters not."
  349.
  350. Envoy of Knowledge, Macavity Quintus-Lunare, Blood Elder says, "There are many of us who are from different Bloodlines but in different Houses."
  351.
