About Guillermo Portero

Guillermo Portero, a hero who lead the company during the Omnic Crisis, was elected president shortly before the crisis finished and promised he would rebuild the country's badly damaged infrastructure. After his period, Portero founded LumeriCo to continue the work he started while he was leading the country. Under his leadership, LumeriCo continued it's progress towards the goal of building a more modern and prosperous Mexico

We have received reports from Omnic clients suffering small service interruptions, including the possibility of weird sound being broadcasted. We don't have any more information to report at the moment but we are investigating the cause of this issue.

Dorado's nuclear plant will start working on November 1st

After the end of the final inspections and security approvals, November 1st has been established as the date for LumeriCo's nuclear power plant inauguration. Every citizen in Dorado and the surrounding areas (see service map for more inforamtion) will be automatically transferred to the new system with the previously announced rates. To commemorate this, LumeriCo will be sponsoring an event on the same day with the presence of it's president Guillermo Portero. More details will be revealed in the near future.

Guillermo is the spanish for William and Portero is the man who works in the "front part" of a building/hotel. He cleans the place, usually works as a kind of security guard keeping unidentified people out, helps the people with their baggage or shopping bags, calls cabs, etc.
I'm not sure on terminology for the services of internet and electricity in english so some of them may sound weird.

I use the term broadcasted but maybe transmission is more suiting. It could be something related to the internet service or the technical support telephone number we have where voices can be heard among the numbers.
