I have defended you when everyone laughed at you. But I guess we choose our friends and if you feel the people who laugh at you are better than those who defend you than that is your choice.  Keep your friends I will no longer back you thos you think are your friends laugh at you behind you back while I defend you are worth more than my integrity than so  be it.
