"Hey I need some advice, which Pokémon should I ask for for my Giveaway?"
You could choose your favorite mon, but in case you don't really know what to choose:
Luvdisc - Classic Giveaway mon. It's really common in Kalos, it can be found almost everywhere by fishing with an Old Rod. In ORAS it's only found in route 128 and Ever Grande City with Good Rods and Super Rods. Once you catch one though, it's really simple to just use Dex Nav and get a bunch of them, so it's still commonly used as a Giveaway fodder.
Magikarp - Can be found almost everywhere with an old rod in Hoenn, can also be found in Route 3 and 22 and Parfume Palace in Kalos.
Whismur - 100% encounter rate on Rusturf Tunnel. Easy to find and to catch. Common in the Connecting Cave and really common in hordes in this same location.
Psyduck - 100% encounter rate by surfing in the Hoenn Safari Zone. Common encounter in Kalos Route 22.
Feebas - No I'm not joking. It can be found by fishing with 100% encounter rate under the middle of the bridge in Route 119 during the daytime and just under a rock South of the same route at nighttime. http://www.serebii.net/omegarubyalphasapphire/feebas.shtml You might not want to choose Feebas though, since it's not available in XY at all.
Unown - This one is pretty tricky since it can be found only in a Mirage Spot, a Mirage Cave South of Route 107. But it's a 100% encounter rate and I guess it could be fun since they all have different formes? Not really the best choice since its Mirage Spot isn't always there and it can't be found in XY at all.
Pelliper - These little shits are literally EVERYWHERE in Hoenn, as long as you're near the sea.
Chinchou - Super common underwater and they're super cute. Can also be found in Kalos, but they're not as common.
Magnemite - These guys are super common in New Mauville and under the Cycling Road in Hoenn. Can't be found in the wild in XY though, but you probably have a some of them left over from BW2. RIP Magnemite Coil.
Golbat - 100% encounter rate in the Scorched Slab. Can't be found in the wild in XY though. Not all that cute though, unless you like long slimy tou- whatever.
Barboach - 100% encounter rate when fishing with a Super Rod in the Scorched Slab. Common encounter by fishing with a Good Rod in Kalos Route 14 and 19.
Poliwag - Not really sure about this, it's a 100% in a lot of Kalos routes by fishing with an Old Rod, but it can't be found in Hoenn at all, so I wouldn't recommend it, unless you hate ORAS and love XY, I guess?
If you have more suggestions feel free to give them.
General tips: no Pokémon that can evolve through trading. You don't want that. No super rare Pokémon like for example Relicanth, unless you want to be an asshole. Don't ask for specific formes of specific Pokémon (like Shinies, Female/Males, Unown ! or ? etc.) unless it's a super special Giveaway and everyone is okay with it.
