It all began with a mystical process known only to Lazuli Phantoms, soul forbearance. In the humble village of Onyne, a woman sits in her room, locked to herself as she forged a new soul from the air and essences in it. The isolation went on for at least twelve straight years, twelve years of no contact with anyone, not her family, nothing. As this time period came to an end, Valencia Lazuli (The mother of Kami) had forged the perfect soul to become her daughter. This soul quickly took its form in the world as a phantom. Valencia was quick to name her "Kaminari" as this name in short meant "God" or "Wandering Soul", both terms which could all as well fit the new being.

Kami also had a sister, her name was Tsukiko Contania Lazuli, she always was a mentor of Kami, teaching her the most basic of everything and even as much as later teaching her all about combat and much more. The relation these two girls had was immeasurable in all senses, they would spend every waking moment together and when separated tended to have common mood swings. In total, Tsuki and Kami had came to rely on each other for pretty much everything.

Kaminari spent her first 3 years in the village until the high king was assassinated and the land fell into a state of dismay and turmoil. Both of Kami's parents had an idea but it was her father (Markys Lazuli) to put the idea into play. They offered Kami to rule the land and look after it. It had became clear since the beginning that Kami had a clear vision of politics and how to understand all sides of a party. This was an ideal for the people of the Core. However, Kami was far too young to rule anything yet. This forced the land into anarchy for the next seven years, life became hellish, going to the local market could result in a violent beating and/or a mugging. Yet nothing could be done about this and as a result of this Kami's parents forced her and Tsuki into a life of isolation with them. This worked out for the most give or take an occasional attack on the building and dangerous hunters raiding the place.

The seven years of hell finally came to an end. Kami was now appointed as overlord of the newly named Lazuli Core. Of course her parents and Tsuki alike where incredibly pleased with her for the new achievement she had made in her young life. Life went on with Kami as overlord for a few more years, time was happy and content once again. This was until Tsuki suddenly went missing and an alternate world appeared from nothing which seemed to orbit the core in an odd manner. Several hunts on the planet were attempted but nothing could be seen there. As for Tsuki, she was never found despite the best search teams looking for her on both of the planets. As distraught as Kami was with out her beloved sister, she finally found the will to move on and see to the planet once again.

It was not that the Crimson Blaze struck, after years of happiness, random beings from across the lapis kingdom began to attack innocents, murder people of power and burn cities and villages alike. They had no reason, any criminals caught, tortured and interrogated would only reply with screams and one common phrase among them all "We saw the light and it was painted in a Crimson gloss. Hail the forever growing queen." Nobody could understand the reasons for any of this at all, it was all far too outlandish. This was when the lapis people saw a light in the dark, Tsukiko returned from her missing time, her first order of business was to round up all people and attack the imposters that way. Believing that the plan would work fine and due to Kami's love for Tsukiko lead her to agree with the plan. Tsukiko had other ideas though. As the group gather, Tsukiko shut them all in and bound Kami to the spot. Everyone was worrying now, their leader was frozen and useless, what was really going on? Several times did Tsukiko's parents ask her to stop, all times failed badly. Tsukiko had an odd desire to destroy all that Kami had built. Before releasing her final attack, she said these words to Kami : "Kaminari, my beloved sister, for at least four years have I been missing and we even noticed you sending searches for me, I appreciate all that very much. I wonder though, why did you go on? Why did you leave me for this god forsaken empire? Does our past mean absolutely nothing towards you?  However, I love you more than I can love anything in this universe so I shall offer you a chance to redeem yourself. All you need to do is take my hand and help me build a Crimson empire from scratch, take my hand as my queen. Sure, we are sisters but I know that this love is mutual, what do you say Kami?" What Kami done is a controversial topic to any existing witnesses, she declined the offer and decided that her empire was more important. Outraged, Tsukiko set every other being in the room on fire except from Kami. This forced Kami to watch as her parents, friends and loyal followers burned to ashes in front of her and there was nothing she could do to stop it. Kami was hopeless. As the last screams died off and Kami was frozen in a state of pure distress, Tsukiko simply spoke out, saying "I shall meet you another day my queen and you will remember this and take me up as your loving queen and companion in the Crimson empire. For now, I leave you, take care my sister." She freed Kami from the bind and left in an instance.

After the incident, Kami remained in the very room for another five years, simply staring at the ashes of her past on relatives and everything she had built, the raging fire had long died along with the empire. At last, Kami felt that she could not go on any longer and fled the Core, bringing her to a random coordinate in a new universe, this happened to be Earth, where she resides today. Of course her life was difficult for her for the first few days and months, nobody accepted her and generally she was not widely liked for being hugely different. She finally set up her home in Kyoto, Japan and ended up finding peace. She lives here on this very day and works silently in her manor. She has met many people in her travels, some that she adored, some that she disliked, some that left her and some that came and went in a flash. She has seen several visions of Tsukiko and even met the high priestess of her own core after years and years of not being allowed to see her. This priestess (Ruriko) would help her in many of her troubles and eventually leave to reside in the core for the rest of her life and even managed to restore it to a better state. Kami is mostly happy these days give or take a few dramatic moments.

Finally, nobody really knows what became of Tsukiko but it is believed that she governs Kami from a distant universe and keeps checks on her via the random visions Kami has and even has grown the ability of being able to reside into anothers dream, mainly Kami's.
