[!?] Fox in Pants: just seems to be such a display of peope behaving badly, i wouldn't want to associate myself with that "cause"
[bluesavior] #GamerGate: I can thankfully say that GamerGate doesn't allow harassment, in fact Pro-GamerGate has been donating to charities since the 3 month timespan, plus there's a ragtag group of folks on Twitter who sides with Pro-GG (like me) that target people that harass people from both sides.
[bluesavior] #GamerGate: And usually people who are harassing are unfortunately doxxers. They usually claim to be on both sides. :L

[bluesavior] #GamerGate: There are two sides to GamerGate.
[bluesavior] #GamerGate: Quite simply, its known as Pro-GamerGate and Anti-GamerGate.
[bluesavior] #GamerGate: Pro-GamerGate is represented by many gamers who were mislabled as white, cis-gendered misyogynists by the video gaming journalism (such as Kotaku, Gamasutra, Polygon, etc.)
[bluesavior] #GamerGate: All in a effort to pull away attention from Zoe Quinn, who was having affairs with many of the journalists that reside in the Video Gaming Journalism.
[!?] Fox in Pants: yeah, while i think there might be some hyperbole at work, there IS misogyny in the gaming insdustry, so i certainly would not want to align myself with any anti-woman effort
[!?] Fox in Pants: and if there are personal "affairs" etc involved i wouldn't want to align myself with either side with a 10 foot pole
[!?] Fox in Pants: basically, that "movement" is a toxic cesspool, and you run the risk of alienating 50% of folks out there by publicly procliaiming support for either side
