  1. The Grass starter is based on a frilled dragon lizard that eventually becomes a flying dragon lizard, with Grovyle-esque emphasis on plants on the body. Tylo- comes from the Tylosaurus, a prehistoric aquatic reptile(?) related to modern sharks. "Chiro" comes from Chiroptera, which is actually the order/family/something idr that bats fall into. -strell comes from a species of bat though. ... I actually love the name "Vespyre" though and I am going to use that for either Chirostrell or Aceropyre.

  3. That effect is actually fully intended with Corbeau! I liked the potential play there, and Corbeau is a glossy, jet-black raven Pokemon with an emphasis on outward beauty hiding a cunning, crafty, almost malignant nature.
