Ebony Kingdom Prologue Session C

Honor. A code that teaches the ideals of high respect for others, to fulfill an promise they made. But sometimes, the word Honor can be simply a lable for anything a pony may deem honorable, even if in the eyes of others it would not.
[1:07:16 PM] TheWanderingZebra: But Honor is something that some ponies search for anyway, even in a Wasteland where such an ideal seems obsolute in the name of survival, there are those who still cling to such ideals.
[1:08:35 PM] TheWanderingZebra: What exactly is it our hero defines "Honor", perhaps we'll learn that soon.
[1:08:54 PM] TheWanderingZebra: **Prologue Session C: Begin**
[1:09:56 PM] TheWanderingZebra: You've been traveling for quite some time in the vast wasteland, maybe you got lost after the last settlement you visited freaked out about you being an alicorn and what not. Such rude ponies don't you think?
[1:16:02 PM] The Custodian: The large purple alicorn walked through the wastes in a huff, still stewing over how he... Or she, had been treated. "Uncivilised curs... Dont they recognize greatness when they see it?!?" she yelled indignantly. The pony was wearing a set of metal armor, large enough to fit its large frame and still allow for flight. As she walked the alicorn canted her head as if in thought before giving a snort "Quiet you whore... I will not listen to your ramblings. I am a prince! An alicorn! Upon seeing me the masses should flock to my side so i can lead them!" again she paused in thought "And there you go yet again, claiming such silly things. I am not one of those debased mutants... And you know this!"
[1:20:10 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The Prince's rant echoes throughout the vast wasteland. There doesn't seem to be any settlement nearby, but there did appear to be an abandoned trailer nearby, looking as if it wasn't used in a long time.
[1:24:51 PM | Edited 1:24:59 PM] The Custodian: The pony pauses for a moment "Fine..." she mutters and the coversation seems to shift to a mental one, her expression shifting from time to time. As she passed the railer the pony would take a peek inside for anything usefull.
[1:28:39 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Holy shit! It had a treasure trove of food in here. 5 bags of potato crisps, 4 cans of Veggies, and even 6 bottles of Sparkle-Cola as well.
[1:30:38 PM] The Custodian: The Custodian will gather it up, still obviously deep in thought. "Peasant food" she mutters, stashing it all away in her bags
[1:35:46 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The Prince pretty much can see that this place is in no way being used by anypony at all, she could spend the rest of the day in here if she wanted to with the matress on the floor.
[1:37:44 PM | Edited 1:37:51 PM] The Custodian: Valliant huffs and turns around to leave... Dragging the matress with her. Perhaps she could find of of those refreshing craters to relax in. She always felt good after a nap in one of them
[1:41:29 PM] TheWanderingZebra: There certainly was a crater a few miles away from where the trailer was located.
[1:43:45 PM | Edited 1:45:03 PM] The Custodian: Valliant starts heading towards the crater, taking some caution. Sometimes there were these odd undead ponies the Raider called ghouls and they did not appreciate her royal company
[1:46:57 PM] TheWanderingZebra: There were about two feral ghouls roaming about in the crater, roaming about probably to absorb some rads. They didn't appear to notice the purple alicorn yet.
[1:53:36 PM] The Custodian: Valliant rolls his eyes "Ponies, vacate the area so that I may relax in peace." she says alloud, pulling out a sword and shining her horn as she casts a spell. Pausing for a moment the alicorn rolls her eyes "THey might be mindless beasts but honor dictates that I make myself known. I will not kill some pony by stabbing them in the back like a coward!"
[2:02:49 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn casts another spell on her armor and takes up a defensive stance
[2:03:10 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The first feral rushes towards Valiant like the savage creature it is, flailings it's hooves at the purple alicorn.
[2:11:47 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The alicorn suceeding in parrying the first strike by the ghoul, giving it a strong slash against it's chest as it yells in pain. It attempts to hit the alicorn more, but because of the armor enhanced by the alicorn's spell and the fact that the ghoul was really weak did it absolutly do nothing. And it didn't help that it triped down after it's fourth attempt missed.
[2:13:17 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The second ghoul rushes toward the alicorn, striking her two times, but none of it's attacks work against the alicorn's armor.
[2:14:04 PM] The Custodian: "Very well" she mutters and lashes out at the ghoul she struck first
[2:16:05 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The first ghoul didn't have much chance against the alicorn's sword as it's undead blood begins to splash out of it's wound, now dead, deader than dead.
[2:19:03 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The alicorn suceeds in parrying the only strike the ghoul was almost about to strike, but doesn't succeed in her counter strike against the foul creature.
[2:19:33 PM | Edited 2:20:04 PM] The Custodian: "Time to end your foul existence" she says, rounding on the last pony and lashes out
[2:22:02 PM] TheWanderingZebra: It only takes two hits to bring down the creature that had once been a pony as it gave out a fiendish screach into the air.
[2:26:30 PM] The Custodian: Valliant regards the corpses for a few moments and floats them outside the crater before floatingthe matress inside and moving it to the center "A pitty they were not more of a challenge" she says, wiping her sword on the underside of the matress and sheathing it again
[2:27:27 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Luna's night seems to be coming soon as Valiant prepares the matress inside the crater.
[2:31:42 PM | Edited 2:37:17 PM] The Custodian: Valliant is content to spend the night in the crater, occasionaly mumbling to herself
[2:37:23 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The night appears to pass on for Valliant as she slumbers. Hours appear to pass as she still continues to sleep.
[2:39:25 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Think I found our thief!" A voice could be heard from a distance away from the crater.
[2:40:48 PM] The Custodian: Valliant cracks an eye open and slowly gets up, an alicorn shield springing into existence around her with a flash of her horn
[2:44:58 PM] TheWanderingZebra: A rifle shot hit against the shield, absorbing it's impact as the unicorn stallion appears enraged at the alicorn. "You fucking mutant! Mah family needed that food!"
[2:48:14 PM] The Custodian: The alicorns face is soon sporting an amused grin as she looks towards the source of the shot "THen yall shouldnt have left it outfor somepony to grab then!" she yells back, the noble tone from earlier replaced with a much more southern accent. "Now show yerself so i can gut you"
[2:50:48 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "How dare you! Those fucking brahmin ousted us out of town, and we didn't have anywhere else to go but that trailer!" The unicorn said enraged as he prepared to fire once against at the alicorn.
[2:53:48 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn starts to approach, still sporting that grin "Ah dont see why thats any of mah business. Its a dog eat dog world out here, and ya'll made the mistake of leaving your food out in the open to be taken. Just be happy that it was me, and not a gang of degenerate fucks looking toturn you into a stew."
[2:56:57 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The unicorn seems to shake a bit, both in fear and anger. With the equipment he had on him and knowing the foe he was against, the unicorn yelled back. "Hun, we're getting out of here!" He yelled as he ran back to the trailer.
[2:58:50 PM] The Custodian: The Raider watches him run back with a sick sense of satisfaction, broken only as the alicorn stumbles for a moment "Sister damn you!" she yells and the alicorn seems to stand there motionless, the shield dropping
[3:00:57 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The Prince could hear hooves running away from the distance, leaving nothing but emptiness where the purple alicorn was.
[3:02:59 PM] The Custodian: Valliant growled "I know not what you did whore... But try it again and Ill be sure to eradicate your charge for good!" she said, looking around. The noble tone had returned. Staring off into the distance for a moment the alicorn then turns around and returns to her matress
[3:06:25 PM] The Custodian: As morning breaks Valliant dines on a feast fit for a prince! Sparkle Cola and a can of veggies. Her stomach satiated the alicorn returns to her wanderings.
[3:07:32 PM] TheWanderingZebra: A few hours pass as Valliant continues to wander rather aimlessly with no sight in hoof, but eventually does she come across seeing a settlement a few miles away.
[3:08:36 PM] The Custodian: THe alicorn will head towards it "Hopefully the ponies here will be more sociable" she mutters quietly
[3:13:11 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Reaching the settlement could Valliant see the city sign Mareton being crossed out and replaced with the word "Brahmin Farm". Taking a look into the settlement made of improvised housing of steel does Valliant take notice that there aren't any ponies at all living in the city, but brahmin! The bobine citizens appear to chat with one another (and sometimes with itself) in their daily lives. Around some buildings is there a red flag with a symbol of what appears to be a cattle prod and a horn making an x-like symbol. "Halt, who goes there!" A brahmin guard says as it's second head aim's a gun at the alicorn.
[3:15:29 PM] The Custodian: "What do you mean 'this is what they meant?'" she asks herself before running into the guard "I am Prince Valliant, Duke of Applewood and inherritor to the throne of Equestria. I come in peace!"
[3:18:52 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "We have never heard of the land of Applewood you speak of. But if you insist you come in peace to speak to our dear leader Beetroot we must confiscate your weapons and assign you guards."
[3:20:57 PM | Edited 3:21:02 PM] The Custodian: "Very well good sir," she says, unsheathing the blade and offering it up to the brahmin. "Take good care of it, "
[3:21:54 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The head that spoke took the sword in it's mouth while four other brahmin with guns in each of their mouths lead the alicorn towards their destination.
[3:23:18 PM] The Custodian: THe alicorn allows them to lead without a fuss, her nose in the air as she musters up every bit of noble bearing that she could to try and impress them
[3:29:50 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The Prince seems to eventually take notice that there are ponies in the settlement ... with slave collars on their necks as she can see them being forced to work on a stone statue of what appears to be some sunglasses wearing pegasus stallion. The workers appear to be in miserable conditions while the rest of the brahmin appear just fine and happy. Passing what appears to be a steel farm house could she see stables where mares were chained to their section of the farm house, treated like the animals that the brahmin once were. A few stallions could be seen dragging along what looks to be a small windmill of some sort with a rope attached on their backs. Their appeared to be guards nearly everywhere, all armed. It'd be suicide to try and take on the entire town, even for an alicorn.
[3:31:19 PM] The Custodian: Valliant will watch this all with mild disgust, but not allow it to show on her features. She will continue to let herself be led, eager to speak with whoever is leading this town
[3:34:48 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Eventually do the guards lead Valliant into what had once been the sheriff's office. Inside could she see a brahmin in a green uniform with a commander's hat on each head, who had a strong build on him as he looked at the alicorn in curiosity. "And what do we have here?" Said one head. "Another pony to add to our workforce?" the other head finished.
[3:36:34 PM] The Custodian: Valliant huffs "I am no mere pony" she replies "Am i to assume you lead this town?"
[3:37:50 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Both heads nod. "We are Beetroot." "And we are the leader of the Brahminist party in our society."
[3:39:44 PM] The Custodian: "And i assume that is the reason for all the ponies working out there?" she asks pacing around, looking through the room "I came here hoping to find a town whos inhabittants would tolerate my presence, who might be willing to listen. What are your goals?"
[3:43:35 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Yes, our goals. For many centuries have our ancestors been oppressed by ponykind for manual labour and the need for our milk. ""And this oppression continued on through us, living everyday treated as little but a pet!" The second head said in disgust. "And then were we visited by him, the stallion who claimed to fight for freedom."
[3:44:45 PM] The Custodian: "The pegasus with the glasses?" she asks, remembering the statue being built outside "WHo is he? What makes him different from the rabble?"
[3:46:40 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "He? He, unlike the rest of the ponies who thought to keep us as mere animals," The first head said as the second one continued, "He objected to the derogatory style of life we were forced into."
[3:48:16 PM] The Custodian: "And so you swapped positions? Make the ponies serve you in the same way you once did? And continue the cycle of hatred?"
[3:50:39 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "We have not swapped positions with them, we have given them an honorable task of forming our new community," "And spreading the ideals of Brahminism to the rest of the wasteland." "When they have proven themselves worthy will they rise with our kind, and we will live in harmony."
[3:52:13 PM] The Custodian: Valliant raises an eyebrow "All i see are ponies being treated like your kind once were. BReeding ill will and making them despise your kind even more. Its only a matter of time before they try to rise up. And then what? Your kind will either kill them, or be killed in return."
[3:55:03 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Both heads seem to laugh at the alicorn. "We have become prepared in the case of such counter-revolution." "We have taken all access to any form of weapons away from them."
[4:03:41 PM] The Custodian: "I doubt you had weapons as well when you overthrew the population here. What makes the ponies any different?"
[4:06:19 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "What we lacked in weapons," "We had spirit, just as the stallion who inspired us did." "It is thanks to him that we have freed ourselves from our chains." "The ponies have long been the oppressors, there is no champion to fight for them."
[4:24:14 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Valliant can notice a rather heavily decoraded sword near where Beetroot stood on the wall.
[4:27:11 PM] The Custodian: "PErhaps one has arrived" she mutters " Return me my blade, So i may duel you for the towns freedom" she challenges, horn glowing slightly
[4:29:45 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beetroot seems to be contemplating about this, a grin on both of his heads. "Very well, but under my conditons." "You are not to use any magic except for your ability to levitate." "And if you loose shall you be one of our workers until we deem you worthy of redemption."
[4:30:57 PM] The Custodian: "Do you guarantee that your fellow brahmin will not interfere?"
[4:31:59 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "We are far too honorable to do such thing." "The brahmin will not interfere whatsoever."
[4:32:50 PM] The Custodian: "Very well. Now then, shall we go somewhere more open?" she suggests, looking outside
[4:33:53 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Yes, the ponies shall see their so called champion," "Fail before us." They said as the first head reached to get his sword, while the guards gave Valliant back her sword.
[4:34:58 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn takes it and examines it closely, making sure nothing was wrong "Lead the way"
[4:37:25 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Kept the same as it was.

Leading the alicorn outside could she see brahmin begining to chat among each other upon hearing that their dear leader was about to fight against another counter-revolutionary. A few of the enslaved ponies appear to look at the scene as well, but they appear hopeless at best. Eventually once there was space made enough for both contestants did Beetroot sheathing they're blade out as it was held by the second head.
[4:40:01 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn floats her blade out andgives it a few swings before getting into a defensive stance "Very well, have at thee!" she says and launches into an attack
[4:42:04 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beetroot prepares to strike at the alicorn only one time as she charges at him, saving the rest of his energy for a parry.
[4:43:41 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beetroot appears to succeed in striking against the alicorn duelist, his first head giving out a cheer as it prepares to show the pony slaves that they have no hope.
[4:49:52 PM] The Custodian: Valliant lashes out twice. Her first attack makinig contact while the backswing misses. taking a step back the alicorn waits for the brahmins retort
[4:50:55 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The brahmin takes a slash, grunting in pain. Feeling humilated did he charge at Valliant, making two strikes against her this time.
[4:53:26 PM] TheWanderingZebra: His first hit missed, but his second strike was just about to hit only for the alicorn to successfully parry it away. However, she misses in her counter strike against the brahmin leader.

The brahmin citizens appeared to be becoming worried, with some of the pony slaves starting to have hope.
[4:56:21 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn lunges forward, attempting to disarm the brahmin and bring it to a swift end
[4:57:10 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The first attempt seems to miss, but that wasn't as bad as the second attempt made her trip and fall down possibly because of her long legs.
[4:57:39 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beetroot appears to see this as a good opportunity and strikes once, leaving the rest of his energy to parry.
[5:01:10 PM] TheWanderingZebra: As the alicorn stands up after tripping does she get hit in the hindleg by Beetroot's sword.
[5:02:14 PM] The Custodian: Grumbling the mare launches into another pair of attacks
[5:06:42 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beetroot attempts to parry both attacks, only to fail and take the oncoming slashes from the Prince's sword, screaming in agony as he appears to be on the verge of death now.

The brahmin citizens can only sit back frantically now, and the pony slaves seem to be cheering for Valliant.
[5:08:18 PM] The Custodian: "Surrender" she says calmly, her sword readyto deflect any other attack
[5:11:13 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beetroot breathes heavily from the wounds he's taken from his first head, the second head appearing exhausted as well. "Guards! This mare seeks to take away your freedom! Eliminate her!" The guards appear to aim their weapons at the alicorn as per orders.
[5:15:34 PM | Edited 5:15:54 PM] The Custodian: "You break your word." she growls, her horn shining before a shield envelopped her "I seek to end the enslavement, of both species!" she says, loudly so everyone can hear
[5:18:31 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The brahmin citizens appear to look at disbelief and disgust at their supposed honorable leader. "I do not recall." The second head spat out his weapon "Making such promises."

Just before any of the guards can do anything does the statue of the pegasus stallion that Valliant saw earlier exploded, leveling some of the surrounding infrastructure with it. There didn't appear to be anyone there luckily.
[5:21:09 PM | Edited 5:21:30 PM] The Custodian: COol alicorns dont look at explosions, and so Valliant continues to stare down the brahmin "Get up" she commands, picking up the sword that was spat out with her TK
[5:23:31 PM] TheWanderingZebra: A few other places begin to explode, chaos ensuing as brahmin citizens began to panic. "Yo fucktard!" Was a voice heard above, a pegasus stallion diving into one of the guards with his hooves as he began to beat up the guard. The other guards didn't know what to do in the situation, most appearing quite confused.

Beetroot looked in shock that his empire was falling apart in front of him. Unable to accept this reality did he begin to run away in fear.
[5:24:58 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn vanishes in a flash of light and reappears in Beetroots path "Stay and face your punishment coward!"
[5:25:24 PM] TheWanderingZebra: !!!

Beatroot simply ran away in another direction.
[5:26:57 PM] The Custodian: She teleports again, this time lashing out to try and trip the brahmin
[5:31:54 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beatroot is able to avoid a few of the alicorn's attempts to trip him but does he eventually succumb, falling down with both of his heads hitting the ground.

Valliant can see the very pegasus from the statue fighting against the guards as he yells out. "How the fuck do you fuck up revolution!" He said angerily at them as he appears to actually try and succeed in pulling out the horns of one brahmin. A few of the slave could be seen without their slave collars holding them back as they attempt to escape from the city.
[5:32:22 PM] TheWanderingZebra: As anyone could see, the entire town was a huge flaming chaotic mess right now.
[5:33:29 PM] The Custodian: Valliant places the blades of both swords againthe brahmins neck and glares at the pegasus "What did you do here? He says it was all your fault!"
[5:35:49 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The sunglasses pegasus seems to pfft. A closer look would reveal that he had a grenade rifle on the back of his black leather jacket, and a dashite sign on where his cutie mark should be. "Yeah, fucking told these guys to fight the power and that shit. Can't even get a fucking anarchist revolution done right." He says as he smashes the head of the guard he was beating up.

Beatroot attempts to use the conversation between Valiant and the pegasus to escape.
[5:37:17 PM] The Custodian: Valliant drags the brahmin back in telekinesis
[5:37:44 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "P-Please!" "Don't kill us!"
[5:39:21 PM] The Custodian: "And now you create even more chaos and destruction... What is the point of all this?"
[5:42:49 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "S-shut up!" "You ponies are the ones who create chaos," "and destruction. Just look at the world you all created!"
[5:43:53 PM] The Custodian: "I was not speaking to you" she says in disgust, and keeps looking at the pegasus
[5:45:34 PM | Edited 5:45:48 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "That's what anarchy is all about. No way I'm going to have another fucking Enclave form on my watch. Didn't want to be a hypocrite with that fucking statue they made of me. Fuck, should of stayed here longer. Now if you excuse me, I have an establisement to fuck with." The pegasus said as he flew above, his image getting lost in the smoke from the flames building up.
[5:47:01 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn looks at the chaos and flames, before dropping the brahmin "What a waste" she muters
[5:47:44 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Beatroot has both pair of his eyes closed as they anticipate their end.
[5:49:24 PM] The Custodian: THe alicorn just starts walking away, pulling ponies and brahmin apart as she goes but soon realizing theres no stopping the chaos
[5:50:26 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Most of the ponies and brahmin appear to escape from the flaming chaos that was once their home, as Beatroot simply lays down, not appearing to care that eventually he would be consumed into the flames.
[5:51:17 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn soon returns to wandering the wastes. ANnoyed at the waste of time it all was, and talking to herself. But hey, she got a shiny new sword?
[5:51:49 PM] TheWanderingZebra: It was basically the same as her other one, though a lot more decorated and fancy looking.
[5:54:34 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "My my my, now that was an impressive show you just performed." A voice from above could be heard.
[5:55:49 PM] The Custodian: Valliant pulls out both swords and turns to look at whoever was speaking "Who are you?!"
[5:58:17 PM] TheWanderingZebra: A spritebot, speech coming out of it's speakers. "Just a zebra looking for clients for a job I'm willing to offer. You're not the first pony to have fought with that brahmin, and none of them had even succeeded against him. You, you on the other hoof were able to fight him off without casting a spell. You've gotten my attention."
[6:00:36 PM] The Custodian: "And what do you want?" she asks, narrowing her eyes but sheathing both blades
[6:02:05 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "There is something I want in a land that's far away from this wasteland. I could go out there myself but because of my ... condition, I must rely on others to do that job for me."
[6:03:11 PM] The Custodian: "And you seek to hire me? Do you take me for some common mercenary? Ask the griffons, they are more than eager to take on such tasks"
[6:04:47 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Chuckling could be heard from the speaker. "Oh, but I want to cherry pick who I hire. And I must admit, you are a rather graceful and honorable duelist. But, I wonder why nopony else seems to appreciate it. It may be merely for the fact that they still have memories of when your Goddess was still in charge."
[6:06:10 PM] The Custodian: She glares "I never served beneath that creature. I am a true prince of Equestria, not some mutant!" she replies angrily....
[6:07:33 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Prince, prince of what? This broken, radiated land? How can you be a prince if you have no fame and glory to prove your worthiness?"
[6:09:07 PM] The Custodian: "Fame and glory will come in time. Now explain what it is you want..."
[6:09:32 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Ah, to the point? Very well, Zebrica."
[6:10:23 PM] The Custodian: "Care to elaborate?"
[6:12:05 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "As I said before, there's something I want found in that country, but I cannot be in Zebrica. I am offering 50,000 caps for each member of the expedition group."
[6:12:44 PM] The Custodian: "That doesnt explain what it is you want. What is it we are to retrieve?"
[6:13:34 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "I'll elaborate more on it once we and the rest of the group I've formed meet in person. I hate exlaining the same things repeatidly."
[6:14:34 PM] The Custodian: THe alicorn twitches for a moment and seems to think in silence
[6:16:11 PM] The Custodian: "Ill think about it" she says a moment later "WHere are we meeting?"
[6:16:54 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "Good. An old beach resort I own. It's actually where you're about to walk towards. Should be a day away from where you are right now."
[6:17:29 PM] The Custodian: "Very well..." and with that she walks off again
[6:18:15 PM] TheWanderingZebra: "It's a pleasure to do business with you. I must admit that you were easier than the last one I tried to recruit." It said before the spritebot flew off.
[6:19:07 PM] The Custodian: Valliant rolls her eyes "I never said yes... Just that i would think on it..." she muters and twitches again "I know its a lot of money whore.... Cease your rambling"
