Don't Take This in a Bad Way

    Hi,

    Just wanted to say that your last couple topics have been interesting to read/think about. Also, I'm a mathematician who works in physics and foundations, by nature I'm a debater and arguer of points, sometimes I can come off as personally nasty once I get going. I reread the thread where we were all arguing, I stand by my points, but in retrospect, I realize that my presentation could be taken as personal and aggressive. I, honestly, didn't want it to come across that way; and I don't take anything you may have said as insulting to me the person. In other words, if you feel personally insulted, I apologize for that.

    Some of the comments in that thread (from others especially) got a bit threatening and bitter towards you. My interest was not to gang up on you, others just happened to join in, I neither endorse nor deplore what anyone else said, that's there business.

    Short version: I hope there is no legitimate animosity between us, though we may disagree quite extensively; hopefully, we can continue on amicably.
