  1. Humanity had been forced to undergo rapid advancement in a time of peril. In 2484, the Earth’s resources had been nearly depleted; the air had been polluted to the extent a massive haze overfell the sky above, never fading, and regular rain showers turned to acid rain with chemical pollution so strong it could sear skin off. The grounds nutrients had been drained because of the switch from natural showers to acid showers: plants could not grow, killing off many of the insects’ that relied on the substances within the plants. The water, infected with trash and oil, drove every marine mammal to extinction. Humanity had destroyed the planet it was given. There was only one way to save the race; terraforming.
  2. With the small amount of resources and control the Governments had, they built a massive cruiser, aptly named “Titanus”, capable of space travel and sustainment of life in space. In just thirteen days, Titanus was completed and ready to launch. Only 13 million civilians remained alive. All surviving personnel were loaded onto Titanus, and it was launched. Titanus exited the Earth’s atmosphere with little to no trouble. Little did they know, their journey to Mars would be the least of their worries.
  3. In the year 2486, Titanus and its inhabitants had successfully terraformed the planet Mars, but at the cost of many lives. Of the 13 million originally aboard the cruiser, only an approximated number of 50,000 remained. The lack of food and water aboard Titanus, the cramped spaces, and an unidentified disease was fatal. Upon landing on Mars, the disease mysteriously disappeared. The lack of manpower required drastic action. It was then that the few remaining leaders of Titanus decided to create a workforce of humanoids with the little resources they had remaining. They named this workforce The Fallen. Using every last volt of energy from Titanus’ core, they managed to create The Fallen. The Fallen were intended to be humanoid, but the core failed to produce enough energy for the correct visuals; while some of The Fallen had humanoid bodies, their features were extremely off. The larger of The basic Fallen, the “Captains,” had four arms and completely black skin. The lowest ranking members of The Fallen, the “Dregs,” had purple orange tinted skin and little to no muscle. They had pincers for a mouth, resembling an insect long-lost on Earth. The Fallen were, no doubt, a failure visually, but performed excellently physically. For a time, the Fallen members worked cooperatively and obediently with their creators. With their instructions, The Fallen had advanced the colony the humans had already built, as well as repaired the Titanus, recharging the core over the course of eight years.
  4. However, The Fallen were soon seen as slaves by the humans; on the same concept racism had developed, The Fallen did the work for the rich, powerful ex-Government officials. Thus, the average human saw The Fallen’s people as inferior: slaves, to be exact. This discrimination outraged the leaders of The Fallen, known as the Kels. The Kels threatened the humans: if the bad blood did not cease, they would go to war. The humans controlled access to all the weaponry aboard the Mars Colony; including “Jaegers,” massive bionic suits designed by The Fallen. The warnings of the Kel were taken lightly, the humans threatening to eradicate The Fallen with the Jaegers they had created. Offended, the Kels ordered their five houses; the House of Devils, the House of Exile, the House of Winter, the House of Wolves, and the House of Kings to attack the Titanus and overtake it for themselves.
  5. The uprising was successful, and The Fallen overtook Titanus after a hard-fought battle. The Titanus was piloted away from Mars and positioned safely in the asteroid belt, where Mars’ anti-spacecraft weaponry couldn’t affect it. For fifteen years, The Fallen lived on the Titanus, growing their weaponry and numbers steadily, learning to use the technology they had designed to it’s maximum. It was declared that the Kel of the House of Kings, Frized, would lead The Fallen in their attack on Mars. The Fallen changed their name to the Evolution Imperium
