What to know as a Trial Moderator

Congratulations! You have been selected to be staff member of our server.
To get things started these are some commands and facts you need to know.
Every commands can be typed in the chat right away.

Before you started doing anything, type this into your console "bind p staffpanel". when you press p, it'll redirect you to our staff panel where you can find alot of useful stuffs.

Serious Commands:
!slay <PlayerName>    (do !slay * to slay everyone, !slay deaths to slay deaths team, and !slay runners to slay runners team)
!kick <PlayerName> <Reason>
!ban <PlayerName> <Time> <Reason> (Staff panel is better and easier for bans)
!gag <PlayerName> <1 or 0> (this is for text, use 1 for the argument to gag, 0 to ungag)
!mute <PlayerName> <1 or 0> (this is for voice chat, 1 for mute, 0 to unmute)
!crouch <1 or 0> (put in 1 to force crouch everyone, 0 to uncrouch)
!pa <Message> (announces message to whole server)
!a <Message> (talk in staff chat)

For-fun Commands:
!freeze <PlayerName> <1 or 0> (freezes Player in place, 1 to freeze, 0 to unfreeze) [Note: When a player is frozen, they cannot take any damage]

Facts:
You can only ban up to a day which is 1440 in time (it's counted in minutes)

Reasonable Ban times:
Trapspam: 1-2 days (maybe more depending on how bad it is)
Trapstealing: 1-2 days (maybe more depending on how bad it is)
Micspam: 1st offense: Mute, 2nd Offense: kick, if needed ban for one day
Disrespect: 1 day to 1 week depending on how bad it was
Round Stalling: 1st offense: Slay, 2nd offense: Kick, if needed ban for 1 day.

With becoming staff on the faafnetwork, you have immediately agreed to many things. The more important things that you have agreed to are:

Linking your steam account to your forum account - Ask your server manager for help

Checking the forums daily for updates so you know if anything has changed. If you banned somebody and they post a ban appeal, then
you must reply to their ban appeal.

You must attend the bi-weekly staff meetings that take place at Saturdays, 12:00AM PST(Midnight) on irc. If you need help setting up your irc account go to LegitCake(http://steamcommunity.com/id/1280x902). However, if you cannot make the meeting for whatever reason, there will be a recap of the important topics that were discussed on the forums just a short while afterwards. Along with attending the staff meetings, you should be as active as you can on irc because thats how the staff talk to each other.
