And i'm also suffered with erectile dysfunction. One doctor said that the scrotal swelling could be likely hydrocele or varicocele. Are one of them related to my erectile dysfunction problem? I need to know which of them either hydrocele or varicocele is related to my ED problem and cause scrotal to swell. Can you please take a look at the pics to see what I might have got? 1:56a

  26. can you see the pics of what I might have and if it related to my ED problem and cause my scrotal to swell when I have bowel movement, when i go out for a run...etc? 1:58a
  27. ? 1:59a
  28. are you there doctor? 1:59a
  29. yes i see the pics. Hydrocele is swelling in the scrotum due to a build-up of fluid around the testicle(s). It occurs in two forms: Communicating hydroceles—associated with hernias and are usually seen in baby boys Non-communicating hydroceles—collections of fluid around the testicle and may occur at any age 1:59a
  30. Do you know why it cause my scrotal to swell and what I might have? 2:00a
  31. However, a varicocele is swelling in the scrotum due to a back up of blood in the main veins of the scrotum. Varicoceles are most common among teenagers and adult men. Not all hydrocele or varicoceles require treatment. 2:00a
  32. Do you know why it cause my scrotal to swell and what I might have? 2:01a
  33. i have this problem going on for 2 years now 2:01a
  34. it is not the easiest to call from a picture, one might think its a hydrocele but 2:01a
  35. Oh right 2:02a
  36. you need an examination. and yes, this could lead to erectile dysfunction. 2:02a
  37. Oh I see, finally i found what the problem is 2:02a
  38. i had ultrasound few times and it didn't pick up 2:02a
  39. did you have any symptoms in your youth ?? 2:02a
  40. what made them get an ultrasound, the ED ? 2:03a
  41. i cant get full erection during morning sleep and when i am with my partner 2:03a
  42. i see. And when is your MRI scheduled for ? 2:03a
  43. 1st july 2:04a
  44. I see and you also have a followup with Dr. Hodge ? 2:04a
  45. will MRI pick up either hydrocele or varicocele ? 2:04a
  46. yeah i did, but i need to confirm the problem which i am now 2:05a
  47. we should be able to get more soft tissue detail from the MRI. the bigger issue is when you are going to see a urologist, they should be guiding your diagnosis, and next steps ? did you make an appointment with a specialist ?? 2:05a
  48. yes i will do but my doctor need the results first 2:06a
  49. will i need to have operation? 2:07a
  50. that is likely to be the case ? 2:07a
  51. what have your MD's been telling you for the past 2 years ?? 2:08a
  52. my MD has been doing nothing to help me with my problem and i am very frustrating and angry with the way they treated me 2:08a
  53. I wish I had the money to go private, but in my country I use NHS as a free health service when I pay tax 2:09a
  54. but it is awful because you have to wait 3 weeks to see a doctor! 2:09a
  55. well the waits here can be a while also. I think the most important step is a referral to Urology. 2:10a
  56. are you able to book an appointment with a specialist directly ? 2:10a
  57. Yeah, but if they cant find the problem i would have to go to london to see the high specialist 2:10a
  58. *top specialist 2:10a
  59. i see, that may need to occur. Given our distance we are limited to get your imaging and consultations arranged 2:12a
  60. you are young and so i would like to get this resolved quickly 2:14a
  61. yeah me too 2:15a
  62. when my doctor get the results first, he will either book me to see the urologist in my local hospital or in london 2:15a
  63. hopefully the problem get resolved 2:16a
  64. can I be able to do penis enlargement 8 weeks after the surgery? 2:16a
  65. ok. well do keep us posted 2:16a
  66. will do 2:16a
  67. I have to be careful as I don't want to have the same old problem again 2:16a
  68. an enlargement will best be discussed with your surgeon but 2:17a
  69. what is your opinion? should i do it 8 weeks after the surgery? 2:17a
  70. it will give me enough time to recover 2:17a
  71. i would wait until the first surgery is fully and completely healed 2:18a
  72. before completing another 2:18a
  73. yeah i will wait until it fully healed 2:19a
  74. are you sure i do have hydrocele? 2:19a
  75. ok, that makes me feel better. 2:19a
  76. or varicocele 2:19a
  77. You have spoken to several doctors on our service. No one is going to be able to guarantee its a hydrocele. However, it does have that appearance and in the past 2 years, your MD should be able to have gotten you to a Urologist to confirm it. What did the ultrasound show, if that result is back ? 2:20a
  78. it show nothing on ultrasound 2:21a
  79. it show as normal 2:21a
  80. i want to know if they are either related to a cold reaction to my glans? 2:21a
  81. cold reaction to your glans ?? not sure what you mean ? 2:21a
  82. i get a cold on my glans when i have bowel movement 2:22a
  83. as when i go to toilet 2:22a
  84. my glans get cold when i go to toilet 2:22a
  85. do it cause by hydrocele or varicocele? 2:23a
  86. ? 2:23a
  87. please be quick before time run out 2:24a
  88. the glans getting cold can be normal 2:24a
  89. it may not necessarily be caused by the cele. 2:24a
  90. as you know the scrotum is usually lower than body temperature. 2:24a
  91. i think that is tangential to the erectile dysfunction which is important for us to address 2:24a
  92. yeah but i never have that before 2:24a
  93. and the diagnosis. 2:25a
  94. if we treat the fluid collection, the other symptoms should improve 2:25a
  95. ok 2:25a
  96. we will not get away from needing to see a Urologist which I know you plan to do ASAP 2:25a
  97. i realize you are stressed, we are here 2:25a
  98. yeah i will do 2:25a
  99. yeah you can see that i am 2:25a
  100. and we will help as we can but legally we have to be careful 2:25a
  101. to not advise specialty care in this situation 2:26a
  102. we can get in big trouble 2:26a
  103. i hope that helps 2
