  1. ADMINS
  2.
  3. Determining site direction(Membership, Site design, Banning, deciding on new users to become staff, what type of writing we encourage). Direction of site policy. Spearheading site projects. Delegating to moderators and SS. If shit needs to be done, and isn't being done, an admin should be the one you go to to bear responsibility for it happening.
  4.
  5.
  6. MUDS
  7.
  8. Mods can directly watch the forums and community to enforce admin decisions and bring up topics from the community to the admins they delete things most times, based on admin policy Carry out projects. Be the dragons to administrators. Direct enforcement that isn't banning; "moderation" of user behavior. In practical terms, primary responsibility for deleting pages (admins can also do this). Mods should be able to delegate to SS they can set minor site policy in line with the major admin decisions Mods should be expected to have input on site policy, even though admins determine direction & make final decisions. A mod that isn't giving policy input isn't doing his/her/their job. Miscellaneous practical stuff like moving threads, locking/unlocking pages. An obligation to look for site improvements such as rewrites. Also, if no admin is available, and a mod is, that mod should be able to make an interim decision on something, if it's an emergency.
  9.
  10. INDETERMINATE POSITION CURRENTLY LABELED SENIOR STAFF
  11.
  12. Staff carrying out the low level site policy that needs to be done frequently and providing good opinions and being relatively active to do it all. Writing is generally a plus, but we don't want to be all writers and lose out on competent folks who don’t write here. Staff are more specialized and can be trusted to watch over specific portions of the site.
