Before this application starts, I would just like to give a huge shoutout and huge thanks to my mans, a former viper staff member, Certs for helping me and inspiring me to make a better application and to keep trying for staff! Certs, if you are looking at my application, I thank you! Remember, if you have any suggestions about my application, feel free to reply down below with a +1/-1 and why you marked it like that! Positive criticism only please. Now for my actual application:


IGN: Taxinq, you can call me Philip if you would like. I go by Taxinq, Philip, Phil, or Tax.

Age (Must be 14 or older): I am currently 14 years of age. I will be turning 15 next February

Timezone: I am in the EST timezone. I live in the U.S and am a natural born citizen. I don't plan on moving anytime soon either!

Which server are you applying for (HCF/Practice?): I am applying for the practice server as I have only played practice on your server.

When did you join ViperMC/ViperHCF: I would say I joined Viper 3-4 months ago. I joined because I was looking for a good practice server. I'd say it was around mid 2.0 of Viper. Ever since I joined, I have been on every single day for about 2 hours each! If you can check my practice playtime, I can guarantee 150+ hours on that server. The reason I have so many hours spent on the server is because I truly love this server and would like for it to grow even more! If I do get accepted, I can promise that I can bring new and positive changes to the community and server!

How active are/were you: I am extremely active to this server, maybe even too much. I come on every single day to see my friends, practice PvP, or just 1v1 some of my friends. I spend at least 3+ hours on the weekdays and at least 5-6 on the weekends. I used to be Staff on a server called 'TitaniumPvP' and it was owned by a couple of friends. With enough work and dedication I was promoted to admin. This is about the time I joined as that server shut down due to the owner not receiving any donations. What happened was, he accepted some irresponsible staff and made some bad decisions. Next thing you know, everyone had a rank of some sort and at least $1,000,000. You can imagine how messed up the economy was, this only adds onto my experience but we can get to that a little bit later in my application!

Here is a fairly accurate schedule of when I can be on Viper.

Monday: 3:10(PM) - 7:00(PM)

Tuesday: 3:10(PM) - 7:00(PM)

Wednesday: 3:10(PM) - 7:00(PM)

Thursday: 3:10(PM) - 7:00(PM)

Friday: 3:10(PM) - 8:30(PM)

Saturday: 6:00(AM) - 6:30(PM)

Sunday: 6:00(AM) - 7:00(PM)
Obviously, these numbers are prone to change as my schedule changes and school hours may interfere, however, these numbers are as accurate as it'll get. I got these times from when I usually wake up, weighing in school time, and when I may be busy doing school work or when I'm over at a friend's house. Sometimes, even if I am at school, I will still be online on skype or forums, even my email as my school does allow electronic devices. I will check any skype messages I get or forum messages daily!

Be honest, how do you think of yourself in the community? (Toxic, friendly, etc.): I can say this honestly and confidently, I am definitely friendly. I would say these are some of the qualities staff members should have and some that I own:

Friendly
I am an extremely friendly player, both in real life and in game. Whenever I win/lose to anyone I 1v1, I always say 'GG', 'GF', or 'xD'. I have many friends in real life/in game, simple because I am very friendly. I love making new friends and meeting new people. In addition, I am also very polite. I am able to express myself without insulting people. If I am skyping someone or in teamspeak with someone, I always try to make them feel as comfortable and safe as possible. I like to think that I have very good 'people' and 'social skills'. I also like to help anyone that needs it and I like to assist people as well! In fact, my job is helping people and everyone is satisfied (I own a setup company). I respect higher authority and understand anyone's wishes.

Experienced
I am extremely experienced in both PvP and being a part of a staff team. I have been PvPing for over a year now and have been improving, every single day I practice! I am also very experienced in the staff portion. I have been 'staffing' for over two years now, being in several servers. Here are some of my servers:

Hyperbian (Factions):
Hyperbian was a really fun server for me. It was owned by a player named 'TheMobster' who also goes by Vice. It had very little bugs, custom enchants, custom plugins, premium builds, and other things like that! It had a playerbase of around 30 when I first joined and it spiked all the way up to 130 when I became staff. That may give you an idea of how well I was doing. Many players also seemed to enjoy that server as well! Economy was really balanced, and everything was all-in-all great! The server, unfortunately shut down after TheMobster sold the server. The new owner had to shut down the server because he couldn't provide funds for it and couldn't support it enough. I was the 'Staff' rank on this server. There were no ranks like Helper, Mod, Admin etc.. Just Staff and Staff+.

TitanPvP (Factions)
TitanPvP was also a really fun server for me! I mentioned this in the first paragraph of my application. It had a playerbase of around 5-20 when I first joined, and spiked all the way up to 100 when I joined as a part of a staff member. As I said before, this server shut down as the owner could no longer support the server because nobody wanted to donate for anything. The economy was really broken because everyone had at least $1,000,000 in game and everyone had the highest rank. I was admin on this server when it closed, I truly believe I might've been a second owner in the case the server was kept open.

DementiaPvP (Factions):
This server was a server I was an owner on. I spent endless hours working on this, fixing out bugs, etc. I recently sold this server because I can no longer continue it as I would like to spend all my time on this server. This server never had a playerbase as I was never able to release it. Instead, I sold the XenForo, server files, and buycraft to another buyer. Even though I sold this server, the experience was very valuable to me. I learned many new things and met many new people! I did have a beta release for a day, just to see how I would do if I did release it and I got around 5 players on.

LionMC (Survival/Towny)
This was one of the very first servers I have ever created and it was honestly probably the most valuable server I have created. I spent months on end making this server, I never wanted it to release as I just wanted to play on this server with my friends. They talked me into releasing it and I got around 30 - 75 players on daily. I gained most of my plugin knowledge and experience from this server, experimenting with different things and stuff. I later gave this server to my friends as I was 11 at the time and I had to focus on middle school. I do not know as of now what happened to that server, it probably shut down.
These are just a few of the servers I have been Staff on. I have not been a part of a staff team for some while so I forgot most of the servers I worked on. I personally owned at least 5 servers and was Staff on 15+. Most of them had a playerbase of around 15 - 40 but I guess I just had bad luck as all of them were shut down. A handful of them I resigned from as the owner(s) were very inexperienced in the field and I felt I could do better, and better I did.

Active
I am very active on this server. I am also extremely active on the forums and skype. I have easily spent 150+ hours on this server. I already posted am estimated schedule of when I can be on in the "How active are/were you" section. Please refer to there for a schedule. I check my phone/computer every single day for new emails or new messages. I have been on every single day, practicing PvP and making sure everyone is happy. I also do have many friends who contact me everyday on skype to check up on me! I am available to skype almost anytime I'm home so I'm certainly almost always available to join the server, help players, or help with any errors that may arise in the server.

Why would you like to apply for Viper: This is a very good question but this answer is simple. I would like to apply for Viper for many reasons. One of those reasons is the fact that bans recently reset, that means rule breakers will be joining again, and you will need new, better staff members to help get rid of those players again! Another reason I want to apply for staff is because I care extremely about this server and am passionate about it. I love how much work you all put into this server and would love it if I can be a part of this server! Also, whenever I'm PvPing I see so many players spamming in chat for staff to spectate them and no one ever seems to be doing so. Since I am on a lot, I will be available to spectate them and watch the accused hackers. If they are suspicious, I will freeze them, screenshare them, and then decide from there if they are clear or not. If they are not, I will punish the players accordingly. If they are clear, I let them go. Also, I am applying because Viper needs staff. It says that you guys are recruiting 25 new staff members so I can help! I also almost never see staff members on practice, and I truly do believe that I can be a great addition to your staff team if you just gave me a chance! I truly care about this server, you will be able to tell this from my playtime on the actual server itself. I want to be staff because I truly want to help make this server a better place and make sure everyone is enjoying the server. I am also extremely dedicated towards this server and would love it if you could give me a chance to impact this server and change it for the better! I really enjoy the PvP aspect of this server as well!

What would you do to benefit Viper and its Community: The most important thing I can do to impact viper for the better is being active in-game, forums, skype, and my email. I can make sure players are getting the best experience they need and I can also make sure everyone is enjoying their time on the server! I literally see so many players and friends who quit Vanic because of the hackers on the server and that really makes me depressed. I also always see players spamming 'STAFF TP' with no staff on or with no staff caring. I also see so many players spamming chat to get other players to join their party and it makes me so angry. If I am a staff member, I can stop these spammers and hackers and put a halt on rule breakers. I am also extremely active on teamspeak so I will be available almost all the time in order to help any players who need it. I know I make it sound like I'm a big deal but I really am not. I work well with a lot of people, therefore, I would be an ultimate addition to your staff team because I can make it more of a unity instead of a staff team. There is power in numbers and I truly do believe that. Think of it like this, would 50 weak people working together beat one strong person? Of course! That's the logic I live by and truly believe and I really hope I can contribute this and introduce this into your server! I am also really not biased, regardless of friends or players I know. I don't play favorites at all. I don't play favorites because I used to have a friend who owned a server and he would always make his friends admin and as you could probably guess, his server failed miserably. The economy fell apart and players complained about those staff members abusing, so I am a witness of biased owners and staff. I also have good common sense so I know what is right and what is wrong. I know what to do in certain times and I know how to deal with players who think they have been unfairly punished and deserve a second chance. I am smart as well, and know how to
persuade someone to my side. Another great character trait I have is maturity. I am mature, and I believe that is an important character trait for staff members to have. If staff members are mature enough, eventually, players will start taking that staff member as a joke. Next, they take the entire staff team as a joke. Finally, they take the entire server as a joke. If I am there, I can prevent those three from ever happening. This server seems so well developed with a nice playerbase, but I believe this server can be upgraded even more with my help. For example, if a player asked me why (name) was punished, I'd reply back with something like "(name) was (banned/muted/kicked) for (reason) if he would like to appeal he can do so on the forums" If they continue to bug me and asks questions only the higher up staff know, I would poke them in TS and request that they assist me and the player.

Are you active/will you be active if you're accepted?: I am already extremely active and will remain doing so even if I end up getting denied. This server right now is basically the only reason I continue playing minecraft. If I didn't stay active and if I got denied, that would just show that I am a staff hunter and I am not a staff hunter. I truly enjoy this server and that is the reason I am applying, not because I'm power hungry or a staff hunter, but because I truly enjoy this server and I truly look forward into helping this server grow and turn it into a better place. This server should not be taken as a joke, I've seen some of those troll applications on the forums and really, I despise those. Those shouldn't exist at all as it really breaks my heart seeing how those players take the server and staff team. You can also refer to my schedule in the "how active are/were you" section. I think you will find my schedule and my playtime satisfactory.

What will you do to improve the community: I will do many things to improve the community. First thing I would do is being active on Viper. Players always spam 'STAFF TP' and things like that in chat and it really bothers me how no staff member is ever on the practice server. I understand that staff ranks are now global and if needed, I can be on in HCF and KitMap servers if anyone ever needs me there! I am a generally nice and friendly guy who is willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy any player or person who needs anything! Another thing I would do to improve the community, is to try and cut down the toxicity as much as possible. I see players on Vanic practice always saying something like "./party join (name) FOR 4V4S!! JOIN NIGGERS! JOIN NIGGERS! JOIN NIGGERS!" and they just keep spamming that. I find those remakes very derogatory and offensive and they should not be taken lightly. I see that a report accusing Otran of abusing has recently opened up where he unmuted PhilipMyCup after saying racist remarks. He shouldn't have done that but I feel as he is new, mistakes are inevitable. Another way I would improve this community is by punishing any players who obstruct Vanic from being the best it can be. I will be on almost all the time to catch these rule breakers and punish them accordingly. I would also get rid of all that 'filth' in the server and act as a form of a 'filter'. I know how to screenshare for ghost clients and things like that. If you guys use a screenshare tool (I am not aware if you have one) I would kindly ask them to download it, open it up, and then run anything necessary. I know all of the basics like open up minecraft, set attack to grave, and things like that. I do have experience on several servers as I have stated previously. I like to think I have exceptional grammar so players will always know what I am saying without asking for clarification. I try and explain things in the deepest detail I can to try to make the players understand as crystal clear as can be. I also see players waiting in teamspeak for quite a while and hopefully, if you accept me, that wait time can be cut down drastically! I know how to handle players and I know what it's like to wait hours for support with no staff ever helping. I will not be one of those staff members who just sit there and do nothing, talk to their friends, while there is a huge wait list for support. I will always be there in times of need and I can assist in anything necessary. I am very experienced with players and I can understand their frustration and feelings towards the server (as I have been a player myself). I can also stay up very late to the point where I may also be able to help EU players with anything that may be necessary! I also wake up extremely early on the weekends so that is a huge plus for me as I can be on early to help EU players. If I am accepted, everyone will have a fair chance at anything and nothing will be biased under my helpful hands. I know I've said this a lot but, I would definitely be a huge addition to your staff team for the better, and that's a promise.

Can you record?: Yes, I can record. I can record with recorders such as DXTory.

Do you have a Microphone?: Yes, I have a microphone. A pretty good one too!

Do you have TeamSpeak?: Yes I have a teamspeak, I can be very active in teamspeak.

If not, are you able to get those programs/items?: N/A, these programs have already been downloaded.

Have you ever been banned on viper? No I have not.
