  1. 2/7/16-------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2. >Marco opened his eyes, he was no longer in the living room but somewhere else, it was night and it was cold.
  3. >He turned to find Star on the ground, she got up and dusted herself off
  4. >Thats when he noticed they both had a gun in their hands. Marco thought he was holding her wand or something.
  5. >"Sorry about the landing Marco, first time I've cast a spell like this"
  6. >Marco got a good look at his surroundings, and fully realized now where they were and promptly freaked out.
  7. >"STAR GET US OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW!"
  8. >"But Marco, I did this all for you. You were the one who said the game was starting to get boring so I spiced it up for you"
  9. >"I didn't want to get sucked into the game at least not this one! I'll explain later just zap us out of here!"
  10. >"I..I can't. This spell is normally used to zap children into harmless fairy tales so they can have an adventure, only way out is to finish the story, except this time we have to finish the game"
  11. >Moans could be heard off in the distance with the sound of wood breaking
  12. >Marco's face turned so white with fear Donald Trump would offer him a job
  13. >"STAR! THERE IS NO END NOT IN THIS MODE THE ONLY WAY OUT IS DEATH...let me guess die in the game...die for real"
  14. >Star nodded nervously as she realized she fucked up
  15. >The creatures broke through the wooden barriers.
  16. >"Marco what do we do?"
  17. >"We turn on the power, and we go from there"
  18. >Marco pointed to their guns
  19. >"Hope you know how to use that."
  20. >Welcome to Der Riese
  21. >Round 1 of Zombies starts now.
  22.
  23.
  24.
  25.
  26. 2/8/16-------------------------------------------------------------------
  27. >The zombies come from all directions.
  28. >"Shoot them 4 times and then stab them with the knife...oh by the way we get a knife" Marco shouted at Star.
  29. >Marco effortlessly killed the entire first wave himself, Star just trembled in the corner aiming the gun at nothing
  30. >"Clip's empty, how do I reload ? I can't press a button...Star any ideas?"
  31. >"Just do what they do in the game, the spell will recognize it as a reloading sequence" Star said backing up against where the Pack-a-Punch machine is sealed.
  32. >Marco removed the clip from the gun and put it back in...and got more ammo
  33. >"Told ya, the spell works within the logic of game more or less"
  34. >More Zombies start coming
  35. >"Star you gotta start shooting!" Marco yelled.
  36. >"Star gathered some courage and started firing at the undead"
  37. >"Good Star good, just follow my lead and we'll find a way out...somehow"
  38. >"Follow me, we need to board up some of these entrances to buy us some time"
  39. >Marco lead her to a tunnel
  40. >"Try imagining you nailing a wooden board over the door" Marco told her as he shot zombies. It was only round 2 and it felt like an eternity.
  41. >"How does that help?" Star asked.
  42. >"Just do it!"
  43. >Star did as she was told and sure enough wooden planks started covering up the tunnel like magic.
  44. >Marco killed the last zombie, but his gun is now empty.
  45. >"Lets go figure out the wall buys"
  46. >Star followed behind, ready to shoot anything that moved
  47. >They came to a chalk outline on a wall.
  48. >"I get it now" Star said as she went up to the chalk outline of a bigger gun, a carbine.
  49. >She imagined a gun appearing in her hand but nothing happened.
  50. >Zombies started to approach
  51. >"Let me try" Marco said as he touched the inside of the outline. He heard a cha-ching sound and the carbine appeared in front of him ready for the taking
  52. >"So it's like a touch pad...nice"
  53. >Marco wondered how to keep track of their points.
  54. >"Marco whats that?" Star asked pointing to the sky
  55. >Marco saw the blue beam of light.
  56. >"A mystery box"
  57.
  58.
  59.
  60. >"What's a mystery box?"
  61. >"Let's just say if you think things are wierd now get ready for all logic to be thrown out the window" Marco replied.
  62. >Star and him now had carbines, it was now slightly easier to kill the undead but not by much.
  63. >"See that door over there? Open it" Marco told her.
  64. >Star ran to the door, but she couldn't make it budge
  65. >"Marco it's no good, I need a key or something"
  66. >"You need to buy it, like with the guns"
  67. >"Are you kidding me? I have to give MONEY to the door so it will open? What does the door have a wife and kids to feed at home?"
  68. >Narco rolled his yes.
  69. >"Don't overthink the logic, just do it"
  70. >Star tapped it, and imagined the door opening but nothing happened.
  71. >"Oh no, you don't have enough, cover me and I'll do it"
  72. >Star protected Marco while he opened the door.
  73. >"I regret sucking us in here, and what is with this cokamamey thing on my wrist?" Star snapped as she popped zombies in the gut. Her aim is terrible.
  74. >Marco expected her wrist. He pulled up his sleeves and he had it too.
  75. >Little numbers like an LED alarm clock were on their skin...their score, and next to it the round number they are on.
  76. >"Huh, kinda handy I guess least now I know how much we have. Star I need you to get rich and get rich quick"
  77. >Marco opened another door, and purchased a submachine gun in the warehouse llooking era they entered
  78. >"By the way you can only carry two weapons unless you have mule kick" Marco told her as his pistol vanished in exchange for the smg
  79. >Star just nodded pretending to understand what was going on
  80. >"We need to go up those stairs and jump down from a drawbridge, and then I'll flip the power switch" Marco said as he got some headshots.
  81. >Star kinda liked this take control, strategic Marco, he's clearly in the zone. Now if only they could escape the game.
  82. >Round 6 was commencing.
  83. >Star cleared the debris leading to the power switch
  84. >"Seriously, who is charging us for this?!"
  85. >Suddenly silence
  86. >"Oh no,hellhounds...get into a corner
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90. >"Hellhounds? I'm guessing these aren't harmless lil laser puppies"
  91. >Marco hit the switch for the power grid and got into a corner opposite of Star
  92. >"Shoot them as they appear from the lightning, Star"
  93. >"Aww I don't think I can shoot a dog they are so-"
  94. >A Hellhound appears in front of Star and jumps at her
  95. >She screams and fires her gun till it explodes.
  96. >...so cute so...I don't feel so good
  97. >They killed the last of the hounds and a shiny golden power up appeared
  98. >"Whaaaattt isss thaaaat? It's so shiny...I'm gonna touch it" Star said running at it.
  99. >"Wait reload first"
  100. >MAX AMMO
  101. >"Who said that? Show yourself!" Star said angrily.
  102. >It's just the announcer Star
  103. >Marco pointed to a giant door behind the power switch.
  104. >Let me get this open before the zombies come again
  105. >Marco opened it and told Star to run up the catwalk to something called the Mystery Box
  106. >Star was fascinated by it
  107. >So your telling me I pay this wooden box, and a random weapon will come out?"
  108. >Yep. Marco replied as he shot zombies coming up the stairs
  109. >"And I can't just open it and pick one?"
  110. >"Nope"
  111. >"You know this game starts to sound like something a court jester would make if he sniffed too much burnt unicorn hair"
  112. >Star opened the box, and danced a long to the little jingle.
  113. >"Oh wow lucky you, and on your first try too" Marco commented on the weapon that she got.
  114. >Star picked it up and read an inscription on the side of the goofy looking gun
  115. >"Porters Ray gun....hmm great it gave me a happy meal toy" Star complained.
  116.
  117. 2/21/16--------------------------------------------------------------->"Were doing good Star but now comes the tricky part"
  118. >"Uh oh I'm not gonna like this am I?" Star responded.
  119. >She really didn't like Zombies, which is a shame as she has a friend who's a zombie.
  120. >"You'll be ok you have the ray gun"
  121. >"What this dinky thing?"
  122. >Star pointed it at Marco.
  123. >"Woah hey careful there's no friendly fire but you can't be to sure"
  124. >Star looked at the gun and holstered it.
  125. >"Ok look, weve reached past round 10, which means now more zombies are gonna start pouring out with a lot more health"
  126. >Star listened to his instructions
  127. >"See that machine downstairs? There are 3 of them and we need to turn them on"
  128. >"What are they?"
  129. >"Teleporters"
  130. >"Good then lets teleport out of here!" Star shouted
  131. >Zombies were already coming
  132. >"It's not that easy, they all lead back to the mainframe BUT we link all three..."
  133. >"Link? You said we had to turn them on"
  134. >"Yeah, uhm that too but then we have like 20 seconds to link it to the mainframe teleporter so...
  135. >"Don't you dare say it Marco!" Star shouted.
  136. >"We are going to have to split up but only for a few seconds"
  137. >"No way I can't survive on my own, unless these things can end the game, then crew it"
  138. >Zombies poured in from all directions, it was taking a lot of bullets to bring them down
  139. >"It's not an exit, but it will open The Pack-A-Punch, we need it to upgrade our weapons or were cooked"
  140. >Star sighed
  141. >"Ok but you better promise me nothing bad will happen!"
  142. >"You have my word"
  143. >"I better be able to shoot narwahls after this"
  144.
  145.
  146. 2/28/16---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  147. >Marco guided Star to the first teleporter in the same room where the Mystery Box is.
  148. >"When the time comes, hit all the buttons on the control panel and then step inside the chamber" Marco instructed as they blasted off zombie heads.
  149. >"Why can't you do this and I run to the mainframe thingy?" Star protested.
  150. >"Do you know how to get back there without getting lost?"
  151. >Star admitted that she did not, this place was like a maze.
  152. >"As soon as I'm out the door, count to 5 and activate it, got it Star?"
  153. >Star nodded, and readied her weapon. How she missed her wand but it didn't get sucked into the game with them.
  154. >"Some zombies will come at you but I'll train as many as I can to come after me" Marco explained.
  155. >"Train? Nevermind I don't even wanna know"
  156. >"You got this Star, I believe in you . Now are you ready?"
  157. >Star nodded.
  158. >Marco took off leaving Star alone in this warehouse looking place. As soon as he was out of sight Star counted to 5 and pressed every button she saw.
  159. >She wasn't sure if it worked until she heard a buzzing sound followed by the tick tock of a watch counting down.
  160. >Zombies started to crawl out of holes in the walls, Star walked into the chamber and unloaded on them.
  161. >The ticking sound got faster, did that mean time was running out?
  162. >"C'mon Marco, whatever you are gonna do just do it"
  163. >Suddenly she felt the tingle of static electricity around her, followed by a golden light underneath her.
  164. >"What the-"
  165. >Star was engulfed in a bright light, she felt weird and even kinda nauseous as a wall of electricity surrounded her. She felt like she was hurling through space.
  166. >"O.M.G It's full of Stars..." Star whispered eyes open, mouth drooling.
  167. >In an instant it was over.
  168. >She found herself standing next to Marco back at the place where they first got sucked into the game.
  169. >She fell to her knee's and threw up.
  170. >"It always hurts the first time" Marco joked as he helped her stand up.
  171. >"I wanna do that again" Star responded knee's still shakey.
  172. >"Good cuz there's two more to go"
  173. >Marco pointed behind her.
  174. >The door to a chamber holding some strange machine had lowered a tiny bit.
  175. >"Can't just squeeze through the opening and hide in there can't we?" Star asked, even though she already knew the answer.
  176. >"Nope" Marco answered.
  177. >Star tried to put her hand through the opening but she came across an invisible wall of some kind.
  178. >"Feel like a mime trapped on a stage" Star mumbled.
  179. >"A stage?" Marco repeated.
  180. >He had a thought but it had to wait, as the next round started.
  181.
  182.
  183.
  184. 3/26/2016-------------------------------------------
  185. >Marco lead Star to the next teleporter.
  186. >"Alright same deal as before alright?"
  187. >Star nodded.
  188. >Marco was forming a plan, but he had no idea if it would work.
  189. >They are doing well all things considered, but their luck is bound to run out.
  190. >"It won't be long before we start getting to the really hard rounds, if I can't make it past those sitting on my couch I..I dunno" Marco thought to himself.
  191. >Star triggered the countdown sequence as Marco mowed down zombies with his trench gun.
  192. >He reached the mainframe and activated it.
  193. >Few seconds later Star appeared out of a bolt of lightning as before.
  194. >She stood absolutely still, her hair was all frizzy from static electricity, but at least she didn't puke this time.
  195. >"Are you ok?"
  196. >Star nodded. "I'm SO getting one of these installed in my room, it makes me feel so...so...tingly on the inside"
  197. >"Gross" Marco said in amusement.
  198. >They fought their way to the final teleporter.
  199. >"Star, what if when a child gets zapped into a storybook and they want out before finishing the story?" Marco asked.
  200. >Star pondered this.
  201. >"What if the kid had to go to the bathroom or something? There would have to be a backdoor or emergency exit of SOME kind right?" Marco added.
  202. >"I never used one when I was younger but I would assume so. Never really came up as I would always have so much fun, plus I can hold it in for a really long time, like once I drank like a gallon of unicorn elixer and-"
  203. >"Ok ok too much information" Marco interrupted.
  204. >"Point is there should be one, somewhere...and I'm thinking we are gonna have to break the fourth wall to do it" Marco said fiercely determined.
  205. >"Which is the fourth wall? There's like a gazillion walls!" Star asked as they reached the last teleporter.
  206. >"I mean as in what you said earlier about feeling like this is a stage and were actors. Maybe if we can escape the actual map and go out of bounds we can find an exit" Marco replied.
  207. >"Oooh" Star said nodding.
  208. >"The spell can't make something out of nothing, no map no game rules...if there is no exit at least maybe we can cause it to crash on itself and spit us out, it's worth a shot right?"
  209. >Star said nothing for a little bit and just killed zombies, it was the best plan they had so far to escape. Well the only one really.
  210. >"If you think it's worth a shot I'm in Marco"
  211. >They fist bumped in the name of unity.
  212. >"We should still power-up more before we start, you know just in case" Marco shouted through the gunfire.
  213. >Star took her position on the teleporter, she sure hoped this Pack-A-Punch thing was worth it.
  214. >Marco left her one last time, as he walked he realized he was running low on ammo, after this he decides to hit the Mystery Box before pack-a-punching.
  215. >As he turned the corner he came face to face with a large group of Zombies.
  216. >He blasted away but they were stronger now, it took 3 trench gun shots to take one down.
  217. >He turned to run the other way, he almost got the mainframe area before coming face to face with another group of Zombies.
  218. >The countdown had started but Marco was not going to make it.
  219. >He blasted away with his trench gun until it ran dry, he switched to his SMG but it's bullets too were weaker.
  220. >"Ok no problem, I'll take a few hits but I can run right between them and into a bigger area" Marco told himself as he was getting surrounded.
  221. >He made a beeline for a doorway, and would have made it too if it wasn't for one crucial mistake.
  222. >In the commotion and worrying about Star he forgot to stop by a vending machine.
  223. >Marco had not yet drank some Juggernog.
  224. >He went into a downed state at the foot of the stairs to the mainframe area.
