  6. +miss ali __ Using an itching powder could be one strategy to get the pandas to be active, and adding something "psychoactive" to the water could be another way to induce certain "adorable" behaviours. Take a squiz at the following g+ post and decide for yourself if you think the panda is drugged (there's a link to an unlisted 2-minute panda video in the post): https://plus.google.com/+LestaNediamHQ/posts/CxbR2r3eosd

  12.
  13. +miss ali __ Yes. Either the Chinese government is simply _reckless_ with their rare and highly prized giant pandas, _or the health and safety of some are being sacrificed in order to generate buzz to save the rest._
  14.
  15. After all, a lot of effort, planning, and construction goes into recreating the natural habitat of giant pandas; so why provide them with access to trees with branches that are too fragile to support their weight? Can it be an "oversight"? Perhaps the first time a panda fell it can be blamed on a design "oversight", but not the 1000th time!
  16.
  17. In an orchestrated environment it makes no sense to let it keep happening, unless you _want_ them to fall. And when they inevitably fall it's captured on CCTV because they are actively monitored 24/7.
  18.
  19. If the "conservation mission" is to preserve an adorable endangered species, would not those tasked with that mission consider lying to the population for the "greater good"? I.e., if the "panda researchers" genuinely believed that it came down to survival or extinction for the giant panda, would they not choose to participate in deception?
  20.
  21. I think they would, and this form of reasoning/rhetoric can be used to justify many dubious things that seem to be going on!

  28. +miss ali __ Giant pandas and their presentation is a topic that's worth exploring properly, and it relates to a great many other things (as you have pointed out). It's a pity that more people haven't caught on to it since it's a "neutral" topic such that it can be discussed without people's guards up by default (as is often the case with dubious news events).

  36. +miss ali __ I hadn't specifically heard of "23andMe", but I have been aware of "DNA testing" being promoted in a "fun and innocuous" way for some time. It has been appearing in more and more propaganda outlets.
  37.
  38. For example, take a squiz at the following Dramalert clip from 3 months ago. (Does "Keemstar" know how he's being used? It doesn't matter if he doesn't.) While it's not compulsory viewing, take a gander between 10m:26s and 12m:05s (the link is queued up): https://youtu.be/51IY9S8vLJc?t=626
  39.
  40. Not long ago the idea of taking DNA from newborns was considered repugnant by "normal people", but it's becoming fashionable and in time mandatory for one's DNA to be handed over at some point. Let's just say that in a double-blind study it's part of the algorithm's oversight of the long-term breeding programme we were born into. ))
