Q: Whose idea was it to stop creating smaller sprites and give this farmville style zoomed out rubbish?
A: There are a number of pros. And they outweigh the cons. It was a company decision.

Q: The zoom in function is great but the zoom out function is bad right now.
A: Not sure if there are plans to improve the zoom out, I hope so
