  1. >Your insides still burn with anger.
  2. IGNIS!
  3. >You shout, your catharsis echoing loudly off the walls.
  4. >You throw a fireball quickly and furiously against the practice slab.
  5. >It slams and sizzles against the target, leaving behind ripples of heat that mix with the previous residue.
  6. >You shout again, and careen another fireball.
  7. >It misses the slab, scorching the wall.
  8. >You lower your hand, and take a moment to pant a few times.
  9. >...
  10. >Damn it!!
  11. >You whip your blade from your sheathe and stomp toward the human-shaped wooden dummies Twilight constructed days ago.
  12. >The steel slams down onto the shoulder of one, then slides out violently to the right, embedding into the neck of the other.
  13. >You lift your leg and boot the dummy hard, collapsing the construct into pieces and freeing your sword.
  14. >Without even looking, you just throw your weapon at the other.
  15. >The side of it hits the dummy, and the sword falls to the ground with a clink.
  16. >You walk away briskly from the blade training area, breathing heavily.
  17. >...
  18. >...
  19. >You dig your hands into your scalp.
  20. >How could this happen?
  21. >You thought you were friends.
  22. >Mentor and student.
  23. >A bond of trust.
  24. >And she's simply disregarding your account?
  25. >Not even bothering to CONSIDER it?
  26. >...
  27. >This is beyond frustrating.
  28. >If Twilight won't believe you, no one will.
  29. >You're stuck, telling a truth no one will accept.
  30. >No matter how much you plea that it's so.
  31. >...
  32. >You take a deep breath.
  33. >...Calm down, Anonymous.
  34. >...Anger will get you nowhere.
  35. >This is most unbecoming of you.
  36. >...
  37. >You scowl a bit.
  38. >You can simmer down anger after a little time.
  39. >But frustration lasts an eternity.
  40. >...
  41. >No.
  42. >No one will believe you.
  43. >You walk back over to the training area, picking up your sword and sheathing it.
  44. >So you'll have to see the one other person who knows it happened.
  45. >...
  46. >Fluttershy.
  47. >From the source.
  48. >...You need to find out what's going on.
  49. >You rest your hand on your blade.
  50. >...It may not be the safest thing.
  51. >But she can't overpower you.
  52. >...That sweet yellow mare must be in there somewhere.
  53. >You take your leave, climbing the stairs back up to the main floor.
  54. >You creak the door open, and with the exit in sight, make your way across the room.
  55. >"...Anon!" you hear from the second floor.
  56. >You exhale.
  57. >Twilight comes galloping over.
  58. >"Anon, please!"
  59. Not now, Twilight.
  60. >You really don't want to deal with this at the moment.
  61. >You're still angry.
  62. >But right now, it's more of a...
  63. >...Disappointed feeling.
  64. >"Anon, it's not that I don't believe, you, it's--"
  65. Twilight.
  66. >She catches her tongue.
  67. >You look her in the eyes.
  68. I don't wish to hear it. Please, keep your comments to yourself.
  69. >She just looks at you.
  70. >Eyes trembling.
  71. >You exhale again.
  72. >And look to the door.
  73. I'm going out.
  74. >You say, opening the door to a midnight engrossed P0nyville.
  75. >"Wh-Where are you going?" she says, lifting a hoof.
  76. It need not concern you.
  77. >You exit the library, and close the door behind you.
  78. >You begin to make your way across town, not looking back.
  79. >The thoughts of earlier in the night flow back to your mind.
  80. >...
  81. >And the subtle anger as well.
  82. >It hazes your thoughts a bit.
  83. >You step with long, quick strides.
  84. >Like a steam engine running on emotion.
  85.
  86. >The cottage soon comes into view through the thin horizon of trees.
  87. >The quiet, peaceful sound of the brook contrasts the feelings you hold.
  88. >You hardly notice the decimated, splintered trees close to the cottage as you approach the door and knock hard.
  89. >...
  90. >No answer.
  91. >You knock again, louder.
  92. >...
  93. >...She did fly out the window at the hospital.
  94. >It's very possible she didn't come home at all.
  95. >...Hmm.
  96. >You grip the handle, and spin it to the right.
  97. >...No resistance.
  98. >...Alright then.
  99. >You push, and the door slowly creaks open.
  100. >...Oh, my.
  101. >The cottage has definitely seen better days.
  102. >Animal food is spread around sporadically throughout the living room.
  103. >The floor is covered in droppings.
  104. >Feathers, fur, and shed skin litter the area.
  105. >You slowly walk in, and close the door behind you.
  106. >Someone hasn't been taking very good care of this residence.
  107. >You look around, something on the ground catching your eye.
  108. >You crouch down and pick it up.
  109. >...A yellow feather.
  110. >...Well, it isn't abandoned.
  111. >You stand back up, and look to the ceiling.
  112. Miss Fluttershy?
  113. >You call.
  114. >...No answer.
  115. Miss Fluttershy! I must speak with you!
  116. >...Still silence.
  117. >Seems like no one's home.
  118. >You grit your teeth a little bit.
  119. >...Then sigh.
  120. >Who knows where she could be.
  121. >You turn back around to walk toward the door...
  122. >...But a thumping grabs your attention.
  123. >Spinning your head back around, you see a small white rabbit bounce down the stairs.
  124. >You raise your eyebrow, and turn back around to face him.
  125. >He hops over, and starts waving his little hands toward you.
  126. >...Hmm.
  127. Hello.
  128. >You say, crouching down to his level.
  129. Where is Miss Fluttershy?
  130. >He makes all kinds of weird motions and gestures.
  131. >...You understand none of it.
  132. >...
  133. Mr. Rabbit, please.
  134. >He stops.
  135. Is she not here?
  136. >He slumps a bit, then shakes his head.
  137. >...
  138. WAS she here?
  139. >He perks up a little, and nods his head frantically.
  140. Do you know where she is?
  141. >...He shakes his head again.
  142. >...Gone, it seems.
  143. >But clearly still somewhere around P0nyville.
  144. >...Where could she be?
  145.
  146. >You secure your saddlebags in place, and take a deep breath.
  147. >Really force that smile, or else this may not work.
  148. >You just saw Anonymous take off across town.
  149. >You'll be safe for at least a little while.
  150. >You lift up your hoof and knock on the library door.
  151. >...
  152. >It opens slowly.
  153. >A rather down looking Twilight Sparkle is there to greet you.
  154. >But when she locks eyes with you, her entire expression changes.
  155. >"Fluttershy?" she gasps.
  156. >You get to work with that smile.
  157. >"Where... Where were you!?"
  158. >She flings the door open completely.
  159. >"We were worried sick!"
  160. I'm sorry, Twilight...
  161. >You say, meekly like she knows you should.
  162. I've been in the Everfree Forest for such a long time... I just lost track of time...
  163. >She looks at you, so surprised.
  164. >It's like she doesn't know what to say.
  165. I... I was wondering if maybe we could talk...?
  166. >Twilight changes expressions.
  167. >Her face contorting to a more worried look.
  168. >This is no longer a surprise for you.
  169. >"...At this hour?"
  170. >You nod happily.
  171. >"...Well, I suppose... I mean..."
  172. >She leans over and peers out behind you.
  173. >"...I think I may have something to talk to you about anyway."
  174. >Something churns in your stomach.
  175. O-Of course, Twilight...
  176. >An unintentional stutter.
  177. >...What did Anonymous say?
  178. May I come in?
  179. >"...Yes, of course, Fluttershy."
  180. >She steps out of the way, and you trot into the library.
  181. >You place your saddlebags down on the table.
  182. Where's Anonymous?
  183. >You ask, playing dumb.
  184. >Twilight sighs, and walks over to the couch, sitting down.
  185. >"That's... actually what I wanted to talk to you about."
  186. Oh?
  187. >Twilight hangs her head.
  188. >"We... kind of had a fight. He's really upset with me right now."
  189. >You gasp.
  190. Oh no...
  191. >She nods slowly.
  192. >"I don't know where he went off to..."
  193. >She sniffs.
  194. >"I... I feel like it's all my fault..."
  195. >You tsk at her softly.
  196. You poor dear... here, would you want me to make you some tea?
  197. >You hold back your grin.
  198. >Your tea is absolutely delectable.
  199. >Everyp0ny loves it.
  200. >Twilight brings her head up, eyes meeting yours, and smiles.
  201. >"That... would be wonderful. Thank you, Fluttershy."
  202. >You happily smile to her, and reach into your saddlebags, grabbing your tea ingredients.
  203. Of course, Twilight,
  204. >You say, making your way through the door to the kitchen.
  205. I'll have it here as soon as possible!
  206. >You push your way through the door, and place your assortment on the counter.
  207. >You begin heating the kettle.
  208. >As the water starts warming up, you prepare the tea.
  209. >Your standard, homemade recipe.
  210. >...Only...
  211. >You laugh a little, reaching over to the small bag Zecora has gifted you with.
  212. >As the water begins to boil, you place the tea inside, and open the bag, sprinkling a little powder in as well.
  213. >...Perfect.
  214. >You seal it back up and place it aside, and prepare the tea as normal.
  215. >When it is finally ready, you pour a steaming cup, and carry it out to Twilight.
  216. >The mare is lying down on the couch solemnly.
  217. Here you go, Twilight.
  218. >You mumble through your teeth, placing the cup and plate down on the table.
  219. >You step back a few paces and smile.
  220. >She raises her head, and smiles weakly at you.
  221. >"Thanks Fluttershy... really."
  222. >She charges her horn, and levitates the cup of tea over to her.
  223. >"You're the best."
  224. >She takes a sip.
  225. >...You watch intently.
  226. >...She lowers the cup from her lips.
  227. >...
  228. >"It's delicious as always, Fluttershy."
  229. >You crack a smile.
  230. Anything for you, Twilight. Now drink up, you're feeling blue.
  231. >She sighs, and nods, taking another sip.
  232. Now... What did you want to talk about?
  233. >Maybe you can get some information out of her before the effects set in.
  234. >She sighs again, and lowers the cup once more.
  235. >"...Fluttershy, you were gone all of today, right?"
  236. >You nod.
  237. >"You weren't at the hospital at all?"
  238. The hospital? No, I never went there.
  239. >She nods slowly, and takes another sip.
  240. >"...But why would he lie?"
  241. >Your ears perk up.
  242. Lie? Who? Did Anonymous lie about something?
  243. >Twilight downs the rest of the tea, and levitates the cup back to the plate.
  244. >"Well... I'd like to think he was lying..."
  245. >She rubs her forehoof lightly with her other.
  246. >"...Look, the accusation isn't exactly... clean. Are you sure you want to hear it?"
  247. >Isn't exactly clean...?
  248. >...
  249. >You narrow your eyes.
  250. ...No, that's okay.
  251. >She looks towards you, confused.
  252. >"R-Really? Are you sure? It... kind of involves you."
  253. >You shake your head.
  254. If it makes you uncomfortable, Twilight, you don't need to say it.
  255. >You try your best to beam a smile.
  256. >...
  257. >...He told.
  258. >You don't even need to hear her say it.
  259. >The surrounding information is enough.
  260. >But did you expect anything less?
  261. >...You smirk a bit.
  262. >Well, clearly Twilight doesn't believe him.
  263. >...So it's no matter to you.
  264. >"Ugh... is it a little warm in here or what?"
  265. >You snap back to it.
  266. >Twilight is lightly fanning herself with her hoof.
  267. >Oh my.
  268. >That's your sign to leave the premises.
  269. Oh, you poor dear...
  270. >You say, quickly taking to the air and patting her head.
  271. The stress must be getting to you. You might be getting sick.
  272. >Twilight nods slowly.
  273. >"Do you think so?"
  274. >You smile.
  275. I do.
  276. >You rush over to the table and secure your saddlebags.
  277. You need your rest. We can talk more later, okay?
  278. >Twilight looks over to you.
  279. >Her eyelids falling.
  280. >"Are you sure...?"
  281. >You nod quickly.
  282. Positive. I'll see you later, Twilight.
  283. >You take to the air and quickly flutter out the front door.
  284. >"O-Okay..."
  285. >Twilight lightly waves goodbye with her hoof as you shut the door behind you.
  286. >Finally, out in the night air, you laugh to yourself.
  287. >You're absolutely giddy.
  288. >You fly up and around the side of the tree, stealthily positioned by the window.
  289. >You peer in to see Twilight, still lying on the couch, fanning herself.
  290. >...Perfect.
  291. >You'll have the perfect view.
  292. >Now, to wait and watch.
  293.
  294. >You drum the hilt of your sword with your fingers.
  295. >You're finally making your way through town.
  296. >You take a deep sigh.
  297. >...At least you're calmer.
  298. >You took the long way back to ensure it.
  299. >A good walk can do wonders.
  300. >But this whole situation still worries you.
  301. >Miss Fluttershy could be under the spell of some... thing.
  302. >And Twilight still won't believe you.
  303. >You can feel a hint of anger flare back up.
  304. >...But it dies down quickly.
  305. >...Oh, think with your head, Anonymous.
  306. >This is one of her best friends.
  307. >Miss Fluttershy.
  308. >The sweet mare she always knew.
  309. >She hadn't seen what she's become.
  310. >And how could she believe she would be capable of such an act?
  311. >...
  312. >You sigh again.
  313. >...Maybe it was YOU who was being unreasonable.
  314. >...
  315. >Maybe.
  316. >You approach the library.
  317. >But you still need to convince her somehow.
  318. >Miss Fluttershy has changed.
  319. >...But... not tonight.
  320. >You grip the door handle.
  321. >You're exhausted.
  322. >You push the door open, and close it behind you.
  323. >Twilight lies on the couch.
  324. >Seemingly asleep.
  325. >You stare at her for a bit.
  326. >...Then, proceed to your room.
  327. >You get about halfway there, before--
  328. >"...Anon?"
  329. >You freeze.
  330. >...She's still awake.
  331. >You exhale.
  332. Twilight...
  333. >You say.
  334. >You don't bother facing her.
  335. I... I may have been unreasonable earlier tonight. But... I'm still not in a great mood.
  336. >...Silence.
  337. >...
  338. I don't wish to talk about this. I just want to head to bed.
  339. >...
  340. >"...Bed."
  341. >...Hmm?
  342. >You turn your head just a little.
  343. >"Bed... You're going to bed...?"
  344. >You raise an eyebrow.
  345. Yes. I'm going to bed.
  346. >...
  347. >"Can... Can I join you?"
  348. >...What?
  349. >You turn around, facing her completely.
  350. >She's upright, looking at you over the couch.
  351. >Her face is flushed.
  352. >"I... I know this is... sudden..." she mumbles.
  353. >...What is she...?
  354. >"Oh, no... I c-can't..."
  355. >She slinks back into the couch.
  356. >"Never m-mind, Anon. I'll... ooh~"
  357. >What in the name of...?
  358. Twilight...?
  359. >"Anon...~"
  360. >Your heart skips in your chest.
  361. >...That tone...
  362. >"Ohh...~"
  363. >She stirs on the couch.
  364. >You walk slowly over.
  365. Twilight... Are you alright?
  366. >She opens her eyes, and moves them slowly to yours.
  367. >"We're... we're friends, right...?"
  368. >...
  369. Yes... Yes, we're friends.
  370. >This is... uncomfortable.
  371. Why are you inquiring about this?
  372. >She looks away, clenching her eyes once again.
  373. >"Anon, I never noticed... how attractive you were before..."
  374. >And like that...
  375. >It was like being punched in the gut.
  376. >All air seemed to be vacuumed from your lungs.
  377. >You take a few steps back.
  378. >...No.
  379. >...No... No way.
  380. >Not Twilight.
  381. >...Not your mentor.
  382. >Not Sir Shining Armor's sister....
  383. >...How?
  384. >How!?
  385. Twilight... What are you saying...?
  386. >She stands up on the couch, looking over at you.
  387. >Her entire face still completely flushed.
  388. >"Anon... Anon, I... need you."
  389. >You take another step back.
  390. Twilight, this isn't you...
  391. >"Please... help me. Just... just a quick..."
  392. >She pants.
  393. >"...Just a quick rut... please?"
  394. What are you saying!?
  395. >You nearly trip over a piece of furniture.
  396. >How did this happen!?
  397. >There's no way she would ever do this!
  398. >Twilight steps off of the couch, her legs slightly wobbling.
  399. >As she steps closer to you, you can see a glistening liquid drip from beneath her legs.
  400. >You're up against the wall.
  401. Twilight, stop this...
  402. >"Please, Anon..."
  403. >She approaches closer.
  404. >"I need this... do this for me...?"
  405. >You shake your head.
  406. You wouldn't do this. What's happened to you?
  407. >She approaches closer, and hops up, planting her forehoofs on your chest.
  408. >You recoil.
  409. >"...Take me..."
  410. >You shake your head, and grip her hooves.
  411. No. Twilight, I--
  412. >She flings your hands away from her hooves, and jumps up, knocking you off balance.
  413. >As you slide to the ground, she plants her lips down onto yours.
  414. >You cringe.
  415. >It feels so wrong.
  416. >You twist your head and break the kiss.
  417. Twilight, enough of this!
  418. >"No! I need it!"
  419. >She pins her hooves to your chest once more.
  420. >"And if you won't give it to me... I'll... I'll take it!"
  421. >Your eyes shoot open.
  422. >Those words...
  423. >"I'm... I'm sorry Anon!"
  424. >She quickly brings her lips to yours once more...
  425. >...But you bring your hands up swiftly, knocking her hooves from your chest, and quickly push her up and off of you.
  426. >She falls back a yard or two, landing on her back.
  427. >You quickly scramble to your feet.
  428. >She squirms a bit, then hops back up on her hooves.
  429. >You stare at each other.
  430. ...Yes... I am as well.
  431. >...
  432. >Her eyes narrow...
  433. >...
  434. >...
  435. >Her horn quickly charges, and she fires a spell at your feet.
  436. >You dive out of the way.
  437. >The spell collides with the ground, spawning a cracking, growing pillar of ice.
  438. >You roll on the ground and get back up on your feet.
  439. >But before you can even react, another spell is fired at you.
  440. >It hits your feet, and the same pillar begins coating your legs, freezing you in place.
  441. >You think on your toes.
  442. >Twilight comes charging.
  443. Ignis!
  444. >You throw your hand down towards the spell in effect, a scorching fireball jetting from it.
  445. >It hits the ice, melting it speedily and allowing you to sidestep just in time.
  446. >You spin around to face the wild purple p0ny.
  447. >Her horn charges again.
  448. >And fires an unknown spell toward you.
  449. >You duck and weave, dodging two or three spells, then throw your hand forward again.
  450. Ventus!
  451. >The wind cracks from your palm, catching loose papers and other miscellaneous items in its wake before enveloping Twilight and sending her flying back.
  452. >You react quickly, sprinting over to her, jumping down, and straddling her.
  453. >You place your palm on her forehead and--
  454. >...
  455. >Shoot! You never practiced this spell!
  456. >What did you do with Mr. Bear again?
  457. >But that wasn't even--
  458. >CRACK!
  459. >Twilight sends a spell up and into your chest.
  460. >You launch and arc high into the air, before crashing back down to the ground with a loud thud.
  461. >You groan out in pain, gritting your teeth and clenching your eyes.
  462. >The sound of galloping hooves brings you back to your senses.
  463. >You fling your eyes back open, just in time to see Twilight jump toward you.
  464. CONTEGO MAXIMUS!
  465. >You yell, swiping your arms in front and across your body.
  466. >The light purple shield materializes, and the p0ny crashes down on top of it, wildly pawing at the fresh barrier between you two.
  467. >You flex your arms and push up and to the left, flinging her from you once more.
  468. >She lands up on her hooves, and you quickly get back up.
  469. >She pants, and exhales like a bull from her nose.
  470. >You keep a defensive stance.
  471. >"...That damn magic of yours..." she mutters.
  472. >She breathes loudly a few more times.... before a devious smile comes to her face.
  473. >Your eyes widen.
  474. >...Oh no.
  475. >Twilight is a powerful unicorn.
  476. >...She could--!
  477. >Twilight charges up a spell, and fires it directly toward you.
  478. VENTUS!
  479. >You deflect the spell into the wall with your jet of wind.
  480. >She advances, and fires it again.
  481. VENTUS!
  482. >You call again, countering it the other way.
  483. >You can't let her hit you.
  484. >Your strongest form of defense...
  485. >She shoots another.
  486. >Again, you blow it away with your powerful wind spell.
  487. >You step back, trying to keep the distance between you and her as large as possible.
  488. >She fires again.
  489. CONTEGO!
  490. >You swipe your hand, conjuring the light purple shield.
  491. >The spell collides into it, dissipating over and around the shield, before it fades away.
  492. >Twilight grits her teeth, and continues firing.
  493. >"Just. Let. Me. Have. This!" she yells, firing after every word.
  494. >You continue to cast your shield spell, blocking each blast of magic.
  495. >You can feel your reserves beginning to slowly weaken.
  496. >Your heel finally hits the wall.
  497. >You quickly turn your head and look.
  498. >Backed into a corner...
  499. >You spin it around again, in time to perform another spell.
  500. CONTEGO!
  501. CONTEGO!
  502. Contego!
  503. Contego!
  504. >Your breath starts to get heavy.
  505. >But Twilight shows no signs of stopping.
  506. >The gap between you is closing quickly.
  507. >You need to strengthen your defense!
  508. Contego Maximus!
  509. >You call once more, channeling the stronger, longer-lasting shield.
  510. >It covers you, and you focus your mind to keep it in place.
  511. >Twilight scowls, and continues firing her spell.
  512. >It slams into the shield over and over.
  513. >Hit after hit keeps pressing against the physical shield you've summoned, as well as your mind.
  514. >The pressure pushes back your arms with each hit.
  515. >...Damn it!
  516. >This was a poor strategic decision!
  517. >Now you're pinned!
  518. >The spells keep hammering you.
  519. >You grit your teeth, clench your eyes, and focus all you can!
  520. >...But it's no use.
  521. >You hear a soft crackling sound from in front of you.
  522. >Your eyes concentrate to the center of the shield spell.
  523. >...Oh no...
  524. >One more spell collides with the shield, and it's like time has slowed down.
  525. >The shield shatters, shards of psychic energy spinning and shooting away from you in every direction.
  526. >The spell continues barreling forward through the collapsed shield, losing no momentum as it travels.
  527. >It slams hard into your chest and absorbs into it, pushing you back sharply into the wall behind you.
  528. >You crash into it, and slump down onto your knees.
  529. >It feels like a barrier, or a lock, has formed around the force inside you.
  530. >You paw at your chest.
  531. >...Damn it!
  532. >You were too careless!
  533. >Twilight crashes into you, slamming you against the wall once more.
  534. >She grinds her crotch on you, and brings her head in.
  535. >But you quickly grip under her forehooves and throw her off once again.
  536. >Well you still have your human strength.
  537. >Using the wall as support, you bring yourself up from your knees.
  538. >Twilight eyes you from across the room.
  539. >"...Anon~... please give up... your magic is blocked."
  540. >You say nothing, only pant deeply, one hand over your chest.
  541. >"Let me... Let me rut you... ohh, please~!"
  542. >She throws another spell at your feet and simultaneously charges.
  543. >You dive and roll out of the way, back up to your feet, and sprint across the room and up the stairs.
  544. >Damn it to Tartarus!
  545. >You'll have to think of another plan!
  546. >You're as good as caught without your magic!
  547. >You resist the urge to almost tear up as you hit the second floor.
  548. >What is happening to Twilight...?
  549. >You scramble around the room, thinking of something to do.
  550. >You can already hear the clopping of hooves ascending the stairwell.
  551. >Think, Anonymous!
  552. >You look up, and spot Twilight's sleeping area.
  553. >"Anon~!"
  554. >It'll have to do!
  555. >You sprint toward the ladder and practically run up it.
  556. >Spells whiz past you as you climb to the highest point inside the library.
  557. >You duck, and move your eyes at the speed of sound around the room.
  558. >Bed!
  559. >Sheets!
  560. >Comb!
  561. >Toothbrush!
  562. >Mirror!
  563. >--Mirror!!
  564. >You dive toward the dresser and snag the handheld mirror.
  565. >It's about the size of a ping pong paddle.
  566. >But it'll have to do!
  567. >The ladder creaks with weight as Twilight begins to ascend.
  568. >She climbs to the top and beams a stare right into your eyes.
  569. >You hold up the mirror as if it were your blade, and keep your eyes on her.
  570. >She pants, and slowly makes her way to you.
  571. >You, opposite of her, slowly twist backwards and to the right of her, trying to open the gap.
  572. >You two end up nearly switching places.
  573. >"MY bed, Anon...? Well, since we're here...~"
  574. Twilight!
  575. >You shout, almost backed into the railing.
  576. Come to your senses!
  577. >She exhales.
  578. >"Ahh~ Anon, please! Just once! I need you~!"
  579. >She takes a step.
  580. >You hold your ground.
  581. >And quickly, she shoots a spell at your chest.
  582. >You weave just in time to dodge it, but leave yourself open for attack.
  583. >She hops forward and spins around, delivering a buck right to your chest.
  584. >You groan loudly.
  585. >Your armor eats up any pain this would have caused, but the force is unreal.
  586. >You're sent soaring up and over the railing, falling for what seems like an eternity, before colliding with the ground on the second floor, bouncing just a little.
  587. >You yell in pain, lying still for a moment.
  588. >What a buck...
  589. >You're brought back to your senses when a spell slams into the ground just next to you.
  590. >You grip the mirror in your hand and get back up slowly.
  591. >"Anon, hold still..." she says, firing another shot.
  592. >You wave your mirror at it, whiffing, but the spell ends up missing anyway.
  593. >"If you don't want to... at least... let me do it to you while you're unconscious..."
  594. >She fires again.
  595. >You swat at it with the mirror.
  596. >It makes contact, and the spell launches over into the wall.
  597. >"It's... kind of my fetish~."
  598. Control yourself, Twilight Sparkle!
  599. >"I can't! I'm burning inside!"
  600. >She shoots another spell.
  601. >You duck, it barely missing you.
  602. >"I need a stallion!"
  603. >She fires again.
  604. >Your mirror knocks it forward, landing between the ladder's steps.
  605. >"I need a stallion inside me! Annoooon~!"
  606. >She charges, and fires one more spell.
  607. >You swing your mirror one last time, the spell bouncing from it.
  608. >It flies forward, almost perfectly straight back.
  609. >Twilight charges onward, directly into the path of her own reversed spell.
  610. >...It hits her right in the side.
  611. > A red aura quickly covers her, before she collapses into the ground, her momentum taking her forward a bit, and settles.
  612. >Without a word, she lies there.
  613. >...
  614. >...
  615. >You pant heavily.
  616. >Twilight...
  617. >...
  618. >Is...
  619. >...Is she alright?
  620. >...
  621. >You walk over to her slowly, and take a look.
  622. >...She's still breathing...
  623. >You scan her over.
  624. >Between her legs...
  625. >She's...
  626. >...Pooling...
  627. >You back away slowly.
  628. >...What the hell is happening?
  629. >...What the hell is happening!!
  630. >You look up into the air.
  631. >You feel like screaming.
  632. >Your eyes locate the window.
  633. >The moonlight pours in.
  634. >The night sky shining a--
  635. >...Wait.
  636. >You look up at the window once more.
  637. >A yellow flutter is visible for just a second, before it slips out of view.
  638. >...
  639. >...
  640. >Fluttershy...
  641. >Is SHE responsible for this...?
  642. >...
  643. >You clench your fists.
  644. >A pure rage channeling in your chest.
  645. >Up through your throat.
  646. >And out of your--
  647. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!
  648. >You spike the mirror down onto the floor.
  649. >It shatters, the piercing crack filling the room around you.
  650. >You angrily draw your blade and charge down the stairs.
  651. >Into the first floor.
  652. >And out the front door.
  653. FLUTTERSHY!!
  654. >You yell.
  655. >You don't care if you wake up everybody.
  656. >You sprint around the entire tree.
  657. >But she's nowhere to be found.
  658. >Where did she run off to!?
  659. >Her house!?
  660. >It could be the same situation as last time!
  661. >...But damn it, you have no other options!
  662. >Hardly even thinking, you charge off into the distance towards Fluttershy's cottage once more.
  663. >Your anger guiding you.
  664.
  665. >You are Fluttershy
  666. >And...
  667. >Oh no, this wasn't supposed to happen at all...
  668. >How did Anonymous trump Twilight?
  669. >She's more powerful than him!
  670. >You flutter back down to the ground from behind a building.
  671. >...Well... you've managed to block his magic at least...
  672. >...But now he's madder than ever.
  673. >You can't face him like this.
  674. >You need another plan...
  675. >Someone else to weaken Anonymous for you...
  676. >...
  677. >But who is more powerful than he?
  678. >You don't think anyp0ny in P0nyville is as...
  679. >...
  680. >...In P0nyville...
  681. >...Of course.
  682. >It's perfect!
  683. >You flutter up to the window once more.
  684. >Peering in, you see her.
  685. >The unconscious, Estrus-ridden Twilight.
  686. >Her own fluids pooling from beneath her.
  687. >Yes...
  688. >...Now, where could Spike be...?
  689. >...Rarity's of course.
  690. >No time to lose!
  691. >You channel your inner Rainbow Dash and fly as quickly as possible to Carousel Boutique.
  692. >Your hooves make contact with the ground, and, forcing tears to your eyes, you knock frantically at the door.
  693. >Much like you anticipated, Spike is present, and answers the door.
  694. >He gazes upon your teary face.
  695. >"Fluttershy?" He says with concern in his voice. "What's wrong?"
  696. >You sob and sniff.
  697. Oh, Spike, it's horrible! There's been an incident! I need to contact Canterlot immediately! Can you take a letter?
  698.
  699. >Why did you think she would be here!?
  700. >You gaze around the cottage once more.
  701. >No one is here!
  702. >Not even the little white rabbit!
  703. >Of COURSE she wouldn't come to where you could find her!
  704. AAAAAAGGGH!
  705. >You throw your blade at Fluttershy's couch.
  706. >It stabs into the cushion, a small amount of white fluff seeping out.
  707. >You draw it, and slice across the furniture.
  708. >Over.
  709. >And over.
  710. >And over.
  711. >Until the cushion is completely decimated.
  712. >Then you move to the wooden part, chopping and hacking.
  713. >Screaming at the top of your lungs.
  714. >Getting all of it out.
  715. >Until the entire couch is no more.
  716. >...And you pant.
  717. >And catch your breath.
  718. >And sit still for a moment.
  719. >Trying to calm down.
  720. >...
  721. >Don't get out of hand, Anonymous.
  722. >You take a deep breath, and sheath your sword.
  723. >Fluttershy isn't here.
  724. >You briskly leave her cottage, and continue down the path to P0nyville.
  725. >Maybe she hung around the library.
  726. >...
  727. >You hope Twilight is safe.
  728. >...Maybe leaving her wasn't such a good idea.
  729. >You pick up the pace, moving at a very brisk walk.
  730. >Soon, you're in P0nyville square.
  731. >You make your way across town, and toward the library.
  732. >Twilight should be unconscious for a while.
  733. >You approach the door.
  734. >Hopefully whatever she's afflicted with will wear off by the time--
  735. >The doors slam open from the inside.
  736. >They rotate completely around, pegging the sides of the tree.
  737. >It catches you completely off guard.
  738. >A powerful spell is blasted right into your chest.
  739. >You soar backwards a good ten feet and collapse onto the ground.
  740. >"HOW COULD YOU!?" a voice screams.
  741. >It invades your ears.
  742. >...That's...
  743. >You prop yourself up with your elbow and look at your attacker.
  744. >A very, very, very angry Shining Armor stomps out of the library toward you.
  745. >His eyes are seething with hatred.
  746. >A low rumble of thunder reverberates through the area.
  747. Sir Shining Armor...
  748. >You mumble, stumbling back to your feet.
  749. What are you--
  750. >"Shut it!" he shouts.
  751. >You recoil.
  752. >"You scum! How could you DO such a thing!"
  753. >You hold your chest, panting.
  754. >"I trusted you!"
  755. Sir Shining Armor, I--
  756. >"Don't give me that 'Sir' crap!" he yells again, cutting you off. "To think I called you my friend!"
  757. >Thunder booms once more.
  758. >Soft droplets of water begin to pepper the ground.
  759. Sir, I don't know what you're talking about, I--
  760. >"Save it!"
  761. >He shoots another spell at you.
  762. >You weave out of the way just in time.
  763. >"I saw, Anonymous!"
  764. >He glares at you with rage.
  765. >"I saw Twilight in there..."
  766. >You pant, and shake your head.
  767. >No... he can't think--
  768. Sir, if you believe I've done something to Twilight--
  769. >"I saw everything!" he booms,"Terrible things! Things a stallion shouldn't see from his sister!"
  770. >You continue shaking your head.
  771. No... It's not that. It's not what it--
  772. >"The evidence is all there, you swine!" he yells. "Don't even try to weasel your way out of this!"
  773. >The rain picks up, thunder rumbling once more.
  774. Sir, listen to yourself! Are you so blinded?
  775. >You pant a couple of times.
  776. So concerned for your sister that you assume the worst?
  777. >You motion your hand to yourself.
  778. And from me?
  779. >The student he knew.
  780. >His friend...
  781. >He bares his teeth at you.
  782. >"I was told, Anonymous. Told from an eye witness... a friend."
  783. >Your blood freezes.
  784. >How? Who could have--
  785. >He closes his eyes and hangs his head.
  786. >"No, I didn't believe it. Not from you. Not from the 'chivalrous Anonymous.'"
  787. >He opens his eyes slowly and glances to the side, as if thinking.
  788. >Then furls his brow, and quickly glances to you.
  789. >"But coming here and seeing the proof for myself..."
  790. >He grunts, and stomps his hoof.
  791. >"Was this all some ploy this whole time? Putting on an act and striking when others are vulnerable? Is this what human do!?"
  792. Sir, listen to yourself! I would never--
  793. >"I knew I shouldn't have trusted such a strange creature! And I let you study with my sister! My little sister! AND YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HER WITH--!!"
  794. >...
  795. >He stops himself.
  796. >...
  797. >He closes his eyes, and breathes slowly.
  798. >...
  799. >"...Draw your sword, Anonymous."
  800. >You feel a pang against your heart.
  801. >It shivers throughout your whole body.
  802. >...Did...
  803. Sir Shining Armor...
  804. >"Draw it," he says, unsheathing his own blade with a metallic slide. "Draw it, or I cut you down defenseless."
  805. >You shake your head.
  806. >"DO IT!"
  807. Sir, I can't--!
  808. >You have just enough time to react, barely dodging the sword thrust forward toward you.
  809. >He retracts it back to himself.
  810. >He's seething with rage.
  811. >...
  812. >The rain escalates to a near-pour.
  813. >...
  814. >You look to him, and draw your blade, assuming a battle stance.
  815. >Shining Armor says nothing. He only readies his sword.
  816.
