- 15:31] * Happymancer is now known as Elsa
- [15:31] * Elsa goes to see Giratina, letting Terrakion decide if he wants to go or not
- [15:31] <KamenWriter> Terrakion would rather not
- [15:32] * Elsa nods and heads out
- [15:32] <KamenWriter> Alright
- [15:32] <KamenWriter> So you enter the mansion, blah blah blah ghosts joy buzzers, whoopie cushions, Boo haha scared you etc. etc.
- [15:33] * Elsa plays along and heads to Giratina
- [15:33] <KamenWriter> And you enter Giratina's study
- [15:33] <KamenWriter> Unlike the other times, the room is actually somewhat busy. He appears to be... packing.
- [15:34] * Cait (nekodes@i.dunno.lol) has joined #OverthereMinis
- [15:34] <KamenWriter> Books are bloating all in a row from his bookshelves over into his one small suitcase
- [15:34] <KamenWriter> And, naturally, he appears to have infinite space inside that tiny case
- [15:35] <Elsa> <What a useful artifact.>
- [15:35] <KamenWriter> He actually folds up a table, decanter of wine and all, until it's a compact little square without spilling a drop, and then places it in his case before he noticed you, "Ah, Elsa. I apologize for the mess."
- [15:36] <Elsa> <No shame in leaving to head back to a world where we aren't extinct.>
- [15:36] <KamenWriter> "I'm simply disassembling my space here. My work here is... more or less finished."
- [15:36] <KamenWriter> "Once you go see your champion, I'll be able to move on."
- [15:37] <KamenWriter> "Then again, Have a seat. I haven't packed the chairs yet, or the fire."
- [15:37] <KamenWriter> He gestures towards the seats in front of the fireplace.
- [15:38] * Elsa does sit, chuckling, <Inside the tunnel.>
- [15:39] <KamenWriter> "Yes, that is where you're heading." he sits as well.
- [15:39] <Elsa> <Anything that can be revealed now that the game has been deemed 'over'.>
- [15:39] <KamenWriter> Even as he sits, the air is alive with floating objects flowing into his suitcase.
- [15:40] <KamenWriter> "I see. Hmmmm."
- [15:40] <KamenWriter> He smiles a little, considering how much he would like to say.
- [15:42] <KamenWriter> "Your champion, he's been with you the whole time, you know?"
- [15:42] <KamenWriter> "You haven't been able to see him, even with your powers. He's very subtle."
- [15:42] <Elsa> <Is this in the sense of outside our range of senses- ah yes.>
- [15:43] <KamenWriter> He reaches over and points towards your chest, "He's been here."
- [15:44] <KamenWriter> "Not to sound trite, but he has inhabited your hearts. That's why you've been growing so quickly."
- [15:44] * Elsa raises an eyebrow, <That raises a few disturbing questions.>
- [15:46] <Elsa> <If we had failed, would he have died alongside? Or is it simply a part of his power.>
- [15:47] <Elsa> <If we were to deny him, would our abilities desert us when he leaves us as well?>
- [15:47] * Elsa looks down at the second question, thinking
- [15:48] <KamenWriter> "Not a damn thing would have happened to him. That's his MO. He takes a side. That side has the advantage, but it's up to whoever gains that advantage to exploit it."
- [15:49] <KamenWriter> "And unless I'm mistaken, whatever power you gain here will transfer over, so don't worry too much about that."
- [15:49] <KamenWriter> "He's not one to roll back anyone's power. He would much rather raise someone else up to a lofty height to defeat you."
- [15:49] <Elsa> <That is reassuring, it certainly would have put a damper on my plans to be unable to move around freely.>
- [15:50] <Elsa> <So the conflict is his goal, not so much a victory?>
- [15:50] <KamenWriter> "He loves both."
- [15:51] <KamenWriter> "And in this case, victory works out quite well for him."
- [15:51] <KamenWriter> "And for you."
- [15:52] <KamenWriter> "Myself, it's enough that humanity survived. I would have been quite lonely without you."
- [15:52] <KamenWriter> "Him, well, I don't know exactly what he's planning, but it's sure to work out well for you."
- [15:53] <Elsa> <Hrm yes, now that you've interacted with the four of us, were you going to continue to try and strike a deal? Cait is obviously very put off by the interactions.
- [15:55] <KamenWriter> "I'm not averse to the idea, but I do rely at least a little on the element of surprise."
- [15:55] <KamenWriter> "You especially know exactly what dealing with me entails."
- [15:56] <KamenWriter> "I like there to be at least a slight chance of someone saying 'yes'."
- [15:56] <KamenWriter> "Then again, if you want to come find me, that's uncommon, but not unheard of."
- [15:57] * Elsa laughs, <I am most interested in staying in contact with certain members. Is there any clue as to where I could look to find you?>
- [15:57] <Elsa> <It will be an interesting journey in the future to look forward to.>
- [15:58] <KamenWriter> "Huh. Haunted places, certainly. My home isn't really on this plane of reality, I'm sorry to say."
- [15:59] <KamenWriter> "The natives of North America know the best how to get to where I live. That is, if they haven't all been killed off."
- [15:59] * Elsa turns to Surtr, <Do you believe I have a chance at finding him?>
- [16:00] <KamenWriter> Surtr seems not to know.
- [16:01] <Elsa> <A second question, do you know what consists of a close enough bond to pull Pokemon back with us? I would be less than pleased if I were to lose my friends.>
- [16:01] * Elsa motions towards Vindhler, Surtr, and Sanotra
- [16:01] <KamenWriter> "As long as they don't hate you, that should be enough."
- [16:02] <Elsa> <I do not believe that Muspell hates me, Freyr might have some contempt that I battled with Surtr more.>
- [16:02] * Elsa turns to the two candles
- [16:03] <KamenWriter> What loyalty are there?
- [16:04] <Elsa> (Just from the shop)
- [16:05] <KamenWriter> "Hmmmm. You might not have given these two enough reason to stay."
- [16:06] * Elsa nods, <You were both valuable in the fight, good luck back in his service.> She directs towards them
- [16:08] <KamenWriter> The Jolly one seems pleased, the Proud one is like Yeah, I Know :smug:
- [16:13] <KamenWriter> "Any other questions for me? Perhaps any last-minute pieces of business before I close up shop for good?"
- [16:14] <Elsa> <I might as well.>
- [16:15] * Elsa looks around, <Do you have any books that might prove enlightening?>
- [16:15] <KamenWriter> "Books? Well, that's unexpected."
- [16:15] <KamenWriter> He smirks, "Well, well... Sure, I may have a volume or two lying around that might prove interesting."
- [16:16] <Elsa> <Surely there have been others who bargained for knowledge.>
- [16:16] <Elsa> <How much money would you require for them?>
- [16:17] <KamenWriter> "Oh certainly. Although once we get above a certain threshold, money is no longer quite enough."
- [16:17] <KamenWriter> "But... there is one book you might be able to afford."
- [16:17] * Elsa smirks, <Which is that?>
- [16:17] <KamenWriter> He stands and plucks a book out of the air. It looks old.
- [16:18] <KamenWriter> He wipes off the dust and admires it, before he offers it, "Ten... whatever money you have."
- [16:19] * Elsa hands him 7 Lira and 3 Marks
- [16:20] <KamenWriter> "It's a story, not quite fiction, but not quite reality either. It's about... Him." He points up.
- [16:20] <KamenWriter> "And about me."
- [16:20] * Elsa double checks to make sure it isn't a religious text that is commonly available
- [16:21] <KamenWriter> Nope. You've never seen it before.
- [16:21] <KamenWriter> As soon as you open the book, you can sense some... strange feelings emanating from it. But the text is just plain... wait... It's not any language you can recognize
- [16:21] <KamenWriter> But you can read it
- [16:21] <Elsa> <Hrm, truly interesting.>
- [16:22] <KamenWriter> "There's nothing in there that is worth a soul, but it's certainly worth ten notes."
- [16:22] <KamenWriter> "And it's always nice to tell someone my side of the story."
- [16:23] <KamenWriter> "Once every... oh... thousand years or so, I catch the urge."
- [16:23] <Elsa> <I will make the most of those ten notes then. I do not have anything else to speak of, so I suppose that is goodbye, for now.>
- [16:23] <Elsa> <I doubt you would be upset if I were to accidentally mention things from the book to certain scholarly types.>
- [16:24] <KamenWriter> "I would be astonished if anyone believed you."
- [16:24] <KamenWriter> "Last man I gave that book to was burned at the stake."
- [16:24] * Elsa grimaces, <I can be persuasive.>
- [16:25] <KamenWriter> "Then I would love to see your attempt."
- [16:25] <KamenWriter> "Human lives. Beautiful things."
- [16:25] <Elsa> <Until... next time.>
- [16:25] * Elsa floats and gives a bow
- [16:25] <KamenWriter> He says nothing else, he just smiles and goes back to packing.
- [16:26] <KamenWriter> You got Giratina's Text
- [16:26] * Elsa heads back to Terrakion, mentioning the book, waiting for his reaction to ask another question
- [16:26] <KamenWriter> When held by a pokemon, it acts as a Ghost Plate
- [16:27] <KamenWriter> Terrakion stares at the book, <That's from the Dragon isn't it?>
- [16:27] <Elsa> <Yes.>
- [16:28] <Elsa> <I did not offer up anything besides some human money.>
- [16:28] <Elsa> <Which will not help us much in other countries.>
- [16:30] <KamenWriter> <I suppose.>
- [16:30] <KamenWriter> <And what is it?>
- [16:31] <Elsa> <I do not presume that ghosts are viewed highly by you, would you mind if I were to broaden my abilities to umbrella over certain ghostly powers.>
- [16:32] <KamenWriter> <I don't care much. They're troublesome, sure, but nothing I'd object to too much.>
- [16:34] * Elsa puts a hand on Surtr, <I will attempt to not pick up any pranking habits.> She smiles, <I am ready to proceed to the end.>
- [16:34] <KamenWriter> He nods
- [16:35] <KamenWriter> He walks along with you
