  1. || The surprise as the second sword had formed in the hand of the Knight was evident by the expression on Naoya's face - it would quickly be cut short as the redhead was forced to wince in pain due to the aftermath of his Silvbird. The new blade had increased the Knight's attack by a substantial amount, eight-hundred to be exact, leaving him at a decent 2200 - something in which Naoya certainly couldn't get over via normal means.

  3. Naoya raised his hand to the wound that had opened upon his cheek, covering it in an attempt to stop it from bleeding further. The former Dark Signer had two options to deal with his foe, a pendulum summon into Volflame or a Fusion summon. Either way he'd be revealing more than he'd want to. The individual behind all of this had likely already taken note of the fact that Silvbird was a pendulum monster, leading Naoya to believe that a pendulum summon would reveal the least amount of information about his own deck whilst also furthering his own plays.

  5. Without further ado Naoya set the pendulum scale with the likes of Goldriver & Steeleren, allowing him to pendulum summon Metalphosis Volflame, a monster who could reach over the Knight who stood before him. Despite his successful summon, Naoya held off on the command to attack, deeming it unneccessary to do so. The individual was only after information, that much was clear.

  7. The question remained however, why was this happening? It was clear that whomever it was doing this was toying with the ex-dark signer, as they'd had plenty of chances to gut the woman their monster held hostage should they have wanted to.
