Book 1

Prologue

Ch1
Following the news of Avilion's attack, the Merovian league quickly scrambled to secure their borders as quickly as possible. With most of the lords in charge of protecting the largest section of shared land, Pellinore was tasked with addressing the section of Merovin that had already been breached: Hreidmar.

Bordering the Andvari Sea, Hreidmar holds most of Merovin's naval strength. However, with Avilion attacking from multiple directions, assistance was needed on the home front. Pellinore quickly made his way towards Corbenic, where Lord Claudin resides. Securing this location would be key in halting Avilion's eastern campaign.

Unfortunately, by the time Pellinore and his allies arrived, the city was already overrun...

Ch2
With Avilion's plans in Corbenic thwarted, Pellinore is informed that the northern border would be the next target to secure. Avilion planned to encircle the fortress ad take it for their own, allowing the main force access to the north eastern part of Merovin, something that would spell certain doom for the Alliance.

Pellinore moved north to bolster the border after relaying this information to his father in Fafnir. He arrives to find the fortress in disarray, but a lone soldier stands in the way of Avilion's victory.

Ch3:
With the border secured, Pellinore believed he finally had a chance to catch his breath. Unfortunately, bad news from the west forced him to quickly move back towards central Merovin to Lyngh.

Lyngh has the largest shard border with Avilion, and as such required the largest force to hold back Avilion's advancing lines. But with news of the league's defeat, Pellinore can only hope he arrives before all of Merovin falls to Avilion.

Ch4:
Reginn has betrayed the Merovian Alliance. Instead of working to drive of Avilion, Lord Urien sabotaged Lord Kahedin's and turned his army against him, killing him in the process. Lady Sebile was forced to surrender and was taken prisoner as a result.

This news came at a shock not only Pellinore but Lord Urien's son Ywain. Seeking answers, Ywain moves ahead of Pellinore to Otr, where the majority of Reginn's soldiers are stationed. He hopes to discover the truth behind his father's betrayal.

Ch4x

Ch5:
With Reginn's soldiers cleared out, Otr has been liberated. Unfortunately, Lady Sebile's daughter Merlina has also been taken captive by Lord Urien's soldiers. Without many other options, Pellinore and Ywain decide to confront Lord Urien directly - in Reginn.

Along the way, the group runs into a certain traveler who may shed light on this war's origins...

Ch6:
After rescuing the Princess of Avilion, Pellinore and Ywain make their way through Heior's mountain range to reach Reginn. News from this region has gone completely dark, making the group question Lady [old]'s loyalty to the league. Helizabel, however, is adamant that she would never betray the league.

Upon reaching [fortress] though, Avilion's soldiers are spotted trying to force their way across the border.

The road to Reginn has been arduous, but the journey is nearly at its end. The last thing standing between
