- Mods (Bug-fixes, slight game changes, etc)
- It's highly suggested to play without mods at first.
- A brief explanation of what each mod does by people who've played them would be welcome.
- www47.atwiki.jp/elona_valiant/ - There is a button on the main page to translate it to English
- Extract to main folder. Use the mod-included launcher to start the game. ELM, Omake_Overhaul, and Ore_hack are recommended, along with Parasite (listed under etc. on the left), which combines some features of all of them, but has not been updated in some years.
- The rest of this paste is about Elona+.
- Elona+
- wikiwiki.jp/elonaplus/ - download the mod here, google translate the site and you can find the source for much of the information here, or maybe you can just read Japanese. They delete old versions when they post a new one.
- http://www1.axfc.net/uploader/C/so/169161.zip - 1.08 current most updated release, screwed up flying scrolls.
- http://www.mediafire.com/?0g4cp84cqm5namy - 1.06 outdated now, but safe to revert to in order to use flying scrolls.
- The following is the information players have been putting together so far, feel free to add to it as you see fit.
- Most of the new content is only in Japanese but we have information on dialogue options for a good deal of it. The new content is also based in South Tyris, continuing the main plot, and only accessible after Lesimas has been conquered. Elona+ also introduces AP, which is gained from killing fast/strong monsters, and can be used in South Tyris for feats and stuff. Elona+ also introduces a couple vendors who accept Music Tickets as currency for special items, there is such a vendor in Larna and another in South Tyris. Material gathering spots now are based on Detection, Gene Engineer, Fishing, and Mining depending on the spot.
- Some people have also thrown together some rather neat spritesheets if you find the default sprites too hideous to look upon!
- http://www.mediafire.com/?lm9qpcaznev7eyy - Bobbleheads/HD spritesheet updated for Elona+.
- http://www.mediafire.com/?7n1x39ocywc3znu - Pokemaster's.
- Also some others have made a couple of music packs to break the boredom:
- Wild Arms music pack: http://www.mediafire.com/?06cdscjctes1k0r
- Vidya Compilation Music Pack (for weebo fagits): http://www.mediafire.com/?9xub911do7uu3c2
- Some other anon was making a FF7 pack (for extra weboo fagits) but couldn't get it to work afaik.
- -Follow this http://archive.foolz.us/vg/thread/8633802/#8849643 to get the weboo fagit packs to work properly.

- Gods
- Elona+ changes some of the vanilla gods, and adds a new one: Yacatect the Goddess of Wealth, whose altar replaces the neutral altar at the Truce Grounds.
- Yacatect's special offering item is jewelry.
- Yacatect's Bonuses: Investing, Sense Quality, Alchemy, Travelling, Negotiation, and NEED DATA. Her special ability is a passive: increased drop rate of body parts (skins, etc) and figures/cards. Might also affect crafting material gathering?
- Yacatect's pet is the Platinum Goose, a Claymore class servant which makes a platinum coin when it eats something (you have to sleep to recharge it like the Defender's Lay Hand resurrection ability).
- Yacatect's Gemstone creates 10 platinum coins once a month.
- Yacatect's Weapon is an iron throwing coin:
- the <Tsuho Kanei> 1d5+10 (20) 0.0s
- It improves Investing (###) Negotiation (###), ResDark (#####), Reveals Religion, Reveals Invisible.
- Changes to old gods:
- Itzpalt: Now takes rods instead of staves.
- Kumiromi: No longer has the seed-generation passive, instead the Cute Fairy and Harvest Time quests give many more. Now he makes you regenerate Stamina faster.
- Mani of Machine: His Gemstone now calls down a meteor-like massive attack which can kill the player. His passive increases physical damage dealt by 10%.
- Each god has a new super form that occurs after killing the regular version similar to vanilla Ehekatl. They all wield a 376.5s weapon with It Brings an End and various other properties.
- Blessed Jure wields the Kindness Blade.
- Hyper Yacatect wields the Stone Coin
- Deus Ex Manina wields the G3-EXA
- The Element wields the Buster Book
- Devastate Lulwy wields the Dreadnaught.
- Buildup Opatos wields the God Breaker
- Insane Kumiromi wields the Beast Sickle
- New God Gift Type:
- Given from a God you have God Weapon level faith with when talked to in person after being summoned with a Wish. These items all give [0,50] (except the Mechanical Binder, at [0,150] as the body piece, and the Sasumata, as the weapon).
- Mechanical Binder - 15s Mani, body slot, reduces Marksman and Tactics, Rubynus
- Sasumata - 2.0s Jure, Spear, 1d5-460 (50), invokes Time Stop (#####+), Bone
- Wheel of Fortune - 0.5s Ehekatl, head slot, reduces Control Magic, and Luck by 1373, Diamond
- Tempest Collar - 0.5s Lulwy, neck slot, reduces Evasion and Greater Evasion, Obsidian
- Magic Canceler - 0.5s Itzpalt, ring slot, reduces Casting, and Magic by 1373, Mithril
- Aureate Constrictor - 0.5s Yacatect, arm slot, Reduces Stealth and Negotiation, Gold
- Green God Thorn - 0.5s Kumiromi, ????, reduces Meditation and Healing, Emerald
- Fetter of Earth - 0.5s Opatos, foot slot, reduces Travelling, and Speed by 1373, Iron
- (Materials give their relevant bonuses of course.)
- There are generic god enemies now that can also drop God Hearts. They evolve all god pets and the cat sister (who gains Frisia's sprite). Some god pet evolutions are gender-based.
- Other Additions/Changes
- Sniper Rifles:
- Does a single large die of damage, invoke Decapitation like scythes and sickles do. They have no penetration, a negative hit modifier, and have a base weight of 2.0s. We don't know how they scale damage over distance.
- Materials:
- Cloth now gives ResCold
- Leather now gives ResSound
- Steel now increases Will by +3
- Chrome grants ResPoison
- Mithril is now 2.0 weight multiplier instead of 2.4
- Dragon Scales have been improved overall for both weapons and armor.
- New Enchantments:
- Invokes Gravity Ball: Just casts gravity in a radius?
- Returns Magic Damage to the Magic Attacker: pretty self-explanatory, gives a chance to return magic damage (you still take full damage yourself)
- The Enemy Dies: found on Eternal Force weapons, when activated deals lots of cold damage to everything in the local map, but the quality goes away afterwards.
- Class Changes:

- Fire and Ice Ball were renamed
- Element Scar prevents HP/MP recovery

- New and Changed Skills:

- Performing is easier, but pays less.

- Crafting
- There's a variety of new craftable stuff for all crafting skills, some of which are actually cool (lightsabers from carpentry, etc.), and some of the skills are also required for useful Pot of Fusion recipes. Note that as of this writing, crafted items which say they give resistances are not implemented in any way, the wikiwiki suggests they will be... eventually.
- Pot of Fusion:
- Some fusion items require you to find a recipe before you can make them - the High Potions and the Philosopher's Stone Mask. Recipes can be Wished for or bought from Souveneir vendors, other methods may exist as well that we haven't discovered/documented.
- High Potions:
- Aqua Sanctio - Explodes
- Soma - enchants body/restores stats and makes you insane
- Nektar - heals and makes you drunk
- Disaster - causes as many status effects as it can, curses, drains every stat
- Philosopher's Stone Mask - Change race
- There are also several foods that increase stat growth for a while.
- Puff Puff Bread - Learning and Dexterity
- Mandrake Salad - Magic and Will
- Putitoro - Charisma and Perception
- NEED DATA - Strength and Constitution
- The Mysterious Diary - spawns a random monster which will be neutral to you.
- Distillation - makes bottles of water (obviously very useful, requires a rod of Fire Wall, a Salt Solution, and a Wood Piece trash item, only takes 6 levels of Magic Device)
- Forbidden Meat - Change sex
- Ball Making - makes a monster ball, but requires a container for the books ingredient
- Another Evolution - makes an Another Heart, an evolution item for use with many pets.
- Probably the best thing the Pot of Fusion can make aside from water is the second recipe called "Unknown Seed" which asks for some Herbs and a food item. This recipe adds a tag (Herb) and causes the food to train your attributes a tremendous amount. Stockpile stomafilia and curaria for this one. Requires both Cooking and Gardening to be levelled a bit to make.
- Evolution
- Elona+ adds 6 kinds of Hearts (Magic, Machine, Another, God, King, Derivative(?)) which are used for evolving pets who have reached Fellow (Soul Mate?). Some pets evolve differently based on male/female. All evolutions seem to gain some amount of Speed, sometimes a lot. The basic evolution hearts seem to drop randomly from anything. Some evolve more than once, or split with different hearts.
- A lot of this was taken from google translated text on the Elona+ site, and so I'm not sure about some things that got mangled. Lots of them seem to gain new abilities and resistances in addition to the basic attribute improvements.
