Considering how much krillin and tien improve in a year, we're gonna low ball a lot. This is since Yamcha doesn't train much but his power level would still increase from minimal training. Minimal. Lets say it only increases 300 a year.

Age 762, Vegeta and nappa arrive. Yamcha PL is 1480.

Buu Saga is 12 years later. 12 x 300 = 3600 + 1480 = 5080. That number is seriously low since I'm low balling it just so you can't complain. 180 is moon level. From this we know Yamcha is at least 28x moon level.

To obliterate the moon entirely and keep it from ever reforming, we'd need to annihilate the matter. The best way to do that is to strike the moon with an equal mass of antimatter.

The mass of the moon is about 1.23% of the mass of the Earth, and it clocks in at 7.3477 * 10^22 kg

Combining that with an equal amount of antimatter would be an explosion with a mass of 14.6954 * 10^22 kg, or 1.4695 * 10^23 kg
