- NEW ITEM CRASH IDEAS CUZ THE OLD SSSSSSUUUUUCK:
- Okay so the old item crashes are not good enough to make up for the new scarce ammo supply, so we're gonna need better ones to address this:
- ===LANCE===
- original purpose: long range damage
- Old item crash: fast flying ripper shot. kinda boring
- new idea: Rocket lance flies forward, when it hits a monster, the projectile dies, summons a AOE lightning strike down upon the monster and a new lance is spawned which continues to travel forward, wrecking shit in its path
- ===DAGGER===
- original purpose: DPS
- Old item crash: a shitload of daggers
- new idea: Keep it because shitting fury on things is fun
- ===AXE===
- Original purpose: Skill based damage and utility
- old item crash: Three hatchets that rip and bounce, linger for awhile
- new idea: One big spinning axe that flies and bounces around, throwing smaller axes at monsters, has a limited homing effect so it "patrols" for monsters
- ===TORCH===
- Original purpose: Powerful area control
- old item crash: bouncing fireball that left lingering pillars of flame wherever it bounced
- new ideas: Large fireball that engulfs a patch of ground with flames.
- Or maybe the fireball spawns one giant erupting pillar of fire with rumbling effects
- ===SHIELD===
- Original purpose: defensive utility
- Old item crash: shield dashing
- New idea: Project a big ass wall that slides forward, reflecting projectiles and repeatedly shoving monsters away.
- Or maybe summon a friendlly NPC of some kind?
