  10. Ah. Well about an hour after I tried to initially login and after I submitted a trouble ticket for not being able to login and receiving a 'ban notice', I now have an email from you guys that says that I'm using third party software?
  11.
  12. I don't use any programs with Diablo. I bought it because my friends wanted to play together with me.
  13.
  14. Again, I ask, from a non-automated system please, what exactly did I do? I've only just started having fun in the game and gotten to like level 53.
  15.
  16. I'm certain if this "incident" were looked into "thoroughly", Blizzard would realize that they are about to lose a very tenured customer.

  22. Salutations William!
  23.
  24. Thank you for contacting us. An additional review of the action taken against the Diablo III account on w***********@domain.com has been completed. We have confirmed our initial findings, and the account action will not be reversed or changed.
  25.
  26. Actions are based on the violation's severity and take previous violations into consideration. This action was taken in accordance with the Terms of Use (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/) and our Diablo III Policies (http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/diablo-iii-policies), which all players acknowledge and agree to before logging into the game.
  27.
  28. We understand that these policies may seem harsh, but they are in place to ensure that every player is able to enjoy their time in Diablo III. Thank you for respecting our position.
  29.
  30. Cheers,

  43.
  44. Thanks for >>> NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTION <<< .
  45.
  46. My question is SIMPLE.
  47.
  48. What DID I DO WRONG.
  49.
  50. This may seem harsh, but frankly I feel i'm entitled to know WHAT I DID WRONG.
  51.
  52. Previous violations? When? What are your 'initial findings' ?

  58. FROM YOUR WEBPAGE:
  59.
  60. Account Closure
  61. Accounts are closed when a player has repeatedly or grossly violated our policies. When an account is closed, it can no longer be accessed. Account closures are rare and are typically only provided after a final warning, except in the most extreme circumstances. Account closures are:
  62.
  63. The most severe account penalty.
  64. Permanent account closure due to repeated or extreme violations.
  65.
  66. ---
  67. --
  68. What did I do that GROSSLY VIOLATED your policy? I've adhered to your polices the whole time. Repeatedly? Extreme violation? What VIOLATION?!?!?!?!?!

  75. Below is part of the email that was sent to your registered email address.
  76.
  77. Account Action: Account Closure
  78. Offense: Unapproved Third Party Software
  79. A third party program is any file or program that is used in addition to the game to gain an unfair advantage. These programs may increase movement speed or teleport heroes from one place to another beyond what is allowed by game design. It also includes any programs that obtain information from the game that is not normally available to the regular player or that transmit or modify any of the game files.
  80.
  81. Cheat Programs ("Hacks")
  82. We take action against accounts using hacks when a hero on the account is identified using a hack program. Hacks provide benefits normally not achievable in the game. Such benefits may include: increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls.
  83.
  84. Automation Programs ("Bots")
  85. We take action against accounts using automation programs or bots when one or more heroes on the account are identified using a bot to achieve automation.
  86.
  87. Thank you for your continued correspondence. After a thorough final review of the action taken against this account, we have arrived at the same conclusion. The action will not be reversed or changed under any circumstances.
  88.
  89. We understand that you may still have concerns regarding the action, but we must reiterate that it was taken to address a violation of the Terms of Use (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/), which all players accept before logging into the game.
  90.
  91. As this issue has been reviewed by multiple representatives, it is now considered closed. If you have questions regarding a different account or issue, please feel free to contact us again. However, further inquiries regarding this issue will no longer receive a reply.
