NYPD Murders Another Unarmed Black Man named Akai Gurley

Akai Gurley was shot to death while standing with his girlfriend in a pitch black stairwell by a nervous rookie cop who’s gun “just went off”. As we all know guns do not just go off and police gun violence is no accident. This is just another example of black men being killed by the police in America. Of course this is not an example of the majority of police doing their jobs everyday in America but far too often men of color are being harmed by the police. Often these men are unarmed or pose no threat to others around them. Below are images of the ongoing protest against the NYPD for killing another unarmed man. This story continues.
