[01:27am] Freed: But you both manage to notice a bright light in the sky, floating above the forest.

[01:28am] John_Revas: Yup, pretty much.  John diverts his gaze upwards, half expecting some sort of flying lightbulb Pokemon at this point.
[01:29am] Freed: It's a bit too bright for you to make out exactly what it is. Whatever it is seems to be wreathed in a halo of multicolored light.
[01:29am] Prince_Ali: "Oh hey, it's the Sun."
[01:29am] Freed: Think of this as The Sun 2: Electric Boogaloo
[01:30am] John_Revas: "The Sun's over there, though," John points towards the actual sun.  "Whatever it is, it's... sure making a spectacle of itself."
[01:32am] Prince_Ali: "Well, then it's a... Second Sun! I don't know how this works though." Ali shrugs.
[01:33am] John_Revas: "I'm pretty sure it doesn't."
[01:35am] Prince_Ali: "Well, that is not as radiant as... Your smile, my blue-haired sweetheart." Ali says as he suddenly turns around and holds John on his arms as a background of blooming roses appear (Blame his Roselia on it).
[01:36am] John_Revas: "You're doing that thing again." John answers flatly.
[01:37am] Freed: And then they missed their first class because they were too busy fucking. [/session]
[01:37am] Freed: just kidding.
[01:37am] Prince_Ali: "And what is the problem with that?" The tone of Ali's voice is seducing. Any fujoshi on the class would spaz out during that.

[01:47am] John_Revas: "Yeah, sure," he answers it completely nonchalantly like it wasn't practically being asked out on a date.
[01:49am] Freed: It's a good thing that light was up there, otherwise you might have been a bit late. The forest could quickly become difficult to navigate if you weren't careful. It would be very easy to get lost in here.
[01:50am] Prince_Ali: "Hmph, to think they didn't even put signs for people to navigate into... What a shabby school." Ali hmmphs while trying to follow the trail of light
[01:50am] Freed: As long as you continue by the heading of the second sun, confirming your course every time there's an opening in the canopy above, you make it through not too long after you entered.
[01:51am] John_Revas: "Eh, it wouldn't be any fun if everything was easy."
[01:51am] Freed: Peering past the thicket of plantlife, you find yourself looking at a massive tree, easily 80 feet tall. Its large branches dominate the area, leaving a nice grassy clearing beneath it. What is so unusual about this tree is the group of huts with straw roofs built in its branches, and the many other wooden constructions around it.
[01:51am] John_Revas: "Huhn.  Well this is certainly a thing."
[01:52am] Prince_Ali: "I'd use the word practical, not easy." The prince stares at the Ewok huts on the treetops. "What, do we have savages here too?"
[01:53am] Freed: A big wooden waterwheel is spinning on a babbling brook, powering a system of pulleys and ropes
[01:54am] Freed: There are some slightly precarious looking walkways made of logs, and what almost looks like... a staircase made of enormous lily pads
[01:55am] Freed: A few Ziplines seem to go between the further parts of the trees, as well as down to the ground. One of them leads to an unusual looking building on the ground.
[01:55am] Freed: Gimmie a little of that sweet perception

[01:55am] John_Revas: "I wouldn't call them savages so much as brilliant," John seems quite excited about the situation.

[01:55am] Freed: John: That's certainly a classroom. It's the same building. Same shape, same construction.
[01:55am] Freed: Entirely different design
[01:56am] Prince_Ali: "Hm, there is certain ingenuity for the structures used there actually."
[01:56am] Prince_Ali: "Still, our professor is quite the Eccentric for hosting classes right here."
[01:57am] Freed: It looks like abstract art took a hit of acid and is having one heck of a psychadelic trip
[01:57am] Freed: The building almost seems to warp if you stare at it too long, but for a second you think you notice a pattern that looks like butterfree wings
[01:57am] Freed: Ali can't see the wings.
[01:58am] John_Revas: "...is that--oh.  Well, yes, he is quite eccentric; and I think we've already met him," John suddenly clues in.
[01:59am] Prince_Ali: "We did, didn't we? The butterfly man. Want to do something like that one of these days, what fabric are those made of?"
[02:01am] John_Revas: "I don't know, but it probably wouldn't be too hard to figure out," John gets walking.  "Either way, looks like we've found the class.  Finally."
[02:04am] Freed: Enter?
[02:04am] Prince_Ali: Y
[02:04am] John_Revas: Y
[02:05am] Freed: You enter the class, and there seems to be not QUITE as psychadelic a design inside
[02:05am] Freed: but certainly intriguing patterns on the walls. They make the room look much bigger than it actually is.
[02:06am] Freed: The classroom floor doesn't seem to have any chairs, instead some beautifully embroidered throwpillows made from the finest fabric.
[02:06am] Freed: The teacher is nowhere in sight, but a couple more people come in and have a seat on a pillow.
[02:08am] Freed: Once everyone is seated, there's a few seconds of silence as you wait
[02:08am] Freed: which is broken by the loud shattering of glass from the skylight.
[02:09am] Freed: Freed dives through it with his legs extended, landing softly crouched on the ground before rising back up and extending his wings in a dazzling fashion as 6 other pokemon follow him in.
[02:10am] Freed: A Butterfree, a Mothim, a Masquerain, Venomoth, an Unfeazant with a purple mask like Freed's and finally a Volcarona, still softly glowing.
[02:10am] Freed: "I am... Freed!"
[02:11am] Prince_Ali: "That entrance... It's fabulous! Too fabulous, i can't be outdone by that!" Ali hurries outside of the classroom and releases the rest of his Pokeymans outside. He jumps inside the classroom again on a shower of bishie sparkles as a shower of roses and water are telekinetically spun around him. "AND I AM YOUR PRINCE!"
[02:11am] Freed: "And this! Is the Contests and Coordinators Class!"
[02:12am] Freed: He claps softly, "Very nice, but we are not doing entrances today, sadly."
[02:12am] Freed: "Now please, have a seat~."
[02:12am] • John_Revas has sat down in that time and has to stifle bursting out laughing at Ali.
[02:13am] Freed: Ali seems to have garnered a few eye rolls from the class
[02:13am] Freed: Also, Freed doesn't seem to notice that his neck is bleeding a bit.
[02:13am] Prince_Ali: "Hmph! A good entrance is the key of... I don't know, Contests!"
[02:13am] • Prince_Ali sits down anyway.
[02:14am] Freed: "Ahaha~"
[02:14am] Freed: "WRONG!"
[02:15am] Freed: Freed's pokemon suddenly cover Ali in strings of sticky white goop
[02:15am] Prince_Ali: "B-b-bukkOHEWW!"
[02:16am] Freed: The class rolls with laughter at Ali getting hit in the face with their shots
[02:16am] • John_Revas tries to maintain composure but has a clearly difficult time doing so
[02:17am] Freed: "There IS a key to contests..."
[02:17am] Freed: "One important aspect you must master above all others!"
[02:17am] Prince_Ali: "F-f-fabulousness?"
[02:17am] Freed: "Anyone else... care to guess?" His eyes scan the room
[02:19am] Freed: "Oho! Looks like Ma fleur du désert is WRONG AGAIN"
[02:19am] Freed: *spray*
[02:20am] Freed: "Anyone else~?"
[02:20am] John_Revas: "..." John holds his tongue for a moment because he's pretty sure his answers are going to be too obtuse.  Because it couldn't possibly just be the obvious, could it?  Oh god what if it is?  He has a reputation to maintain; getting stringshotted on the first day would just be embarassing aghghghg

[02:22am] Freed: "The key..."
[02:22am] Freed: "Is in your own heart." <3
[02:22am] Freed: "Yes! The most important aspect of contests is yourself! Your Soul! Your essence!"
[02:22am] John_Revas: John is now glad he kept his mouth shut.
[02:23am] Freed: "For if one does not master himself..."
[02:23am] Freed: "HHow can he even call himself worthy to stand on the same stage as his pokemon!"
[02:23am] • Prince_Ali would say something against such a preposterous answer but he is filled with sticky goop and embarassed and crying on the inside ;_;
[02:24am] Freed: "Contests are not merely about the beauty of your pokemon. You must make sure that YOU are beautiful! Not on the outside, but on the inside!"
[02:24am] John_Revas: John sagenods, hand against his chin.  How philosophical.  This really was the right class to choose.
[02:25am] Freed: "That is why those who have chosen to master themselves shall always triumph over those who have not! It is not simply a matter of who has the toughest, coolest, or cutest pokemon."
[02:25am] Freed: "And how does one find their beauty and master their heart? By living life to its fullest!"
[02:26am] Freed: "Expanding your horizons, learning your dreams and desires, experiencing love, hardship, all of these life experiences temper our heart just the same."
[02:26am] Freed: "And it is only when we pour the sum of ourselves into our actions can we become truly great coordinators!"
[02:27am] Prince_Ali: B-b-but i'm already beautiful on the outside and probably on the inside! Ali would say. If he could move his jaws as his Pokémon desperately try to pry off the sticky crap out of him. And while hardship is sort of unknown to him, he did came to this academy to EXPERIENCE LOVE~
[02:27am] Freed: "Practicing your routines among yourselves will make you more skilled for sure, but skill is only part of coordinating!"
[02:29am] Freed: "To grow as a coordinator, you must grow as a person. Go out and live your lives! Conquer Gyms! See pokemon that you have never before seen! And before you know it, while pursuing your dreams you have become a great coordinator!"
[02:30am] Freed: "Now then, why don't we go around and tell everyone our dreams for the future?"
[02:31am] John_Revas: John's sagecalm is met with a sudden freeze of position.  Oh shit.
[02:31am] Ramiel left the chat room. (Ping timeout)
[02:32am] Freed: "I shall start us off. My dream is to impart my experiences and feelings onto you chenilles belles and waatch you grow into coordinators even greater than I!"
[02:33am] Freed: "Now then, let us go around the room..."
[02:35am] Prince_Ali: "Are you going to string shot me again if i answer it?" The meekness on the poor Prince's voice is really weird for people who have never saw him this humble.
[02:35am] John_Revas: John has to hold back the urge to laugh again, although it's a lot easier this time.
[02:36am] Freed: "Absurd! The wishes of the children are the future's reality...Adults that laugh at such dreams are no longer human!"
[02:38am] Ramiel joined the chat room.
[02:38am] Prince_Ali: "If you say so... I... I want to become a great ruler, to be loved by all the persons on the land, be them my family or not!"
[02:41am] • John_Revas goes back to quiet.  Huhn.  So the prince isn't ENTIRELY an irresponsible airhead.
[02:41am] Freed: You catch a few answers before it's your turns. "I dream of making enough money to move my family here from Johto." "I wanna show everyone how great Sumo can be!" "I want to make it big in Unova and be a hit musical star!" "I want to become a great coordinator and write books about it!" "I wanna be the kind of cool guy they make action figures out of!" "I want people to get fired up whenever they hear my name, and be the hottest
[02:41am] Freed:  star in the country!"
[02:44am] John_Revas: John stays quiet throughout.  They're all such... simple dreams.  So straightforward.  Then his turn comes around, and with a straight face; "I dream of having a dream."
[02:46am] Freed: There's a bit of silence in the room. Some of the classmates seem a bit put off by your answer, but Freed simply smiles.
[02:46am] Freed: "An admirable trait."
[02:46am] Freed: "Not everyone knows what they want in this world. But to want to find out what you do is the first step!"
[02:47am] • Prince_Ali lifts an eyebrow at John's answer. It can't be helped. Perhaps some good loving will make him find something better, no~

[02:47am] John_Revas: John's face is pretty stoic until Freed actually speaks up, and then he actually seems surprised that someone gets it.
[02:48am] Freed: "I wish you all the best of luck with your dreams."

[02:51am] Freed: "Now then..."
[02:51am] Freed: "Are there any questions about this class and its coursework?"

[02:53am] • John_Revas comes up with nothing, and just shrugs, relaxing himself back.

[02:54am] Freed: Someone speaks up, "Are the wings real?"
[02:54am] Freed: Freed looks at them coyly, "A lady never asks and a gentleman never tells~"
[02:54am] Freed: "Or is it the other way around..."
[02:56am] John_Revas: It's a good thing John can take these things in stride because there are horrible, horrible implications about that
[02:56am] Freed: After a few questions, mostly about his eccentricities but also about the class, he checks the odd butterfly clock. "Looks like we still have some time left... well, all right. Everyone, since we've all talked about ourselves enough today, how about we each introduce eachother to one of our pokemon?"
[02:56am] • Prince_Ali would rather those be made of cloth, as at least it could be easy for him to reproduce them. Hell he even got some friggin materials for it after being stringshotted.
[02:59am] Freed: They go around the room and introduce you all to their Mienfoo, Poliwhirl, Shinx, Kadabra, shuppet, and cyndaquil, telling you their names and a few things about them and their personality.
[03:00am] John_Revas: (I need to pack up and head out right now, actually D: )
[03:01am] Freed: (Ah it's okay we were just about done)
[03:02am] Freed: Plut wanna give us something before he goes?

[03:03am] • Prince_Ali has his meidomons introduce themselves with all their cute/fabulousness to the faceless trainers as he himself shuffles around the room.
[03:04am] Freed: "Well then, thank you all for being here today. For your homework, come up with a stage name for yourselves!"
