- As everyone know Linux version of CK2 was released 14.01.2013.
- I really happy to get native version of the game, but there were no official launcher, so I decided to create my own.
- Before I'm never work on any desktop application, so it's was a nice plan to try new stuff: C++ with Qt4.
- Repeat: zero experience and only day to make working prototype.
- I'm did good work on UI file and style, but if you are experienced programmer my code could be dangerous for your eyes and brain.
- Yeah, I've seen python launcher thread, so I named this one as Qt CK2 Launcher.
- drFlK's launcher have much better code, but my have nice UI and DLC list/disable functionality.
- Right now this launcher is Linux-only too, but I have some great ideas about launcher functionality.
- There is tons of functions which I probably add If will play less.

- Q: Could I use launcher with Steam?
- A: Yes. Launcher is fully compitable with Steam overlay and DLC activation mechanisms.
- Q: How to configure Steam to run game though launcher?
- A: It's very easy:
- Run Steam and open "Library" window.
- Right click on CK2 in game list.
- Click on "Properties"
- Push "Set launch options..." button
- Input "qtck2launcher %command%" and push "Ok"
- Now launcher will work like in Windows version.
- Q: Where is launcher configuration file stored?
- A: ~/.config/qtck2launcher/qtck2launcher.conf
