Gaven C. (GM): Shall we start?

Axl Greez: Sure.
What better way to start off the holiday season with an emergency rush to the hospital for a burnt to the bones rat to be treated by a doctor who had a medical license for a total of two minutes?

We begin with what AXl said.

Martaues: ( Is he being operated on by a snake? )

Inside a hospital with an ally who is brushing with death.

Martaues: "How's he looking?"

Gaven C. (GM): (No, more of being stored for the upcoming surgery.)

Martaues: ( That's a bit more relieving then. Was expecting the snake to do work right here )

Snek: "Right now he doing fine."

Gaven C. (GM): "Out cold and servery burned, but he'll make it."
"I take that your one of his friends or family members?"

Edward H.: (How long has it been since the last session? I need to know if I still have an arm cast)

Gaven C. (GM): (Basically where we last left off.)

Martaues: "Friends. And hey, the guy's gonna need therapy the moment he wakes up. He was in a real bad state when he was awake."

Fred Actaeon: (So my arm is still is in a cast. Got it.)

Gaven C. (GM): (Don't worry about it, this isn't going to be a combat session unless you make it one.)

Martaues: ( HEAL HIM FASTER SNAKE whips out a gun )

Snek: "Was he tring to kill himself when this happened? If so it's sorta sad that durring the most wonderful times of year that suicide rates increase."

Fred Actaeon: "No, there was... an insident."
"I wasn't there for it."

Martaues: "No. Bad accident in a warehouse. Guy got soaked and caught himself on fire head to toe."
"But he's wantin' to off himself after what happened, though. 's why I'm askin' for a therapist."

Gaven C. (GM): "Well It could be that he just wanted the pain to stop and that's why he was saying that."

Fred Actaeon: "So how long will he have to recover?"

Gaven C. (GM): "And no offence, but with the way he's looking it sounds like he's gonna win a huge case aginst that warehouse."
"It's going to take some time with him."

Martaues: ( How can holidays work on a space-faring civilization? Is there a universal calendar, or are holidays celebrated uniquely around the appropriate times of the calendar of the planet? )

Gaven C. (GM): (Don't think about it to hard.)

Martaues: ( Same sorta problem with asking about how time works like "it's been a day". Friggin' new Star Wars said stuff like that, thought that was a bit silly. )
( Yeah. Just leads to confusion and more confusion. )

Gaven C. (GM): "Anyways, visiting hours are almost over, so Happy Holiday to you guys."

Fred Actaeon takes one more look at Match, then leaves.

Martaues: "Hm. Y' too."

He's not going to win most handsome man award unless he's the only man left in the world."

Martaues: ( Wait, is that what the snake muttered? What a dick )

Gaven C. (GM): (No.)

Martaues: ( I mean he's right, but what a dick move )

Gaven C. (GM): (was matchs looks description.)

Martaues: ( Just saw the quotation marks, got confused. Anyhoo )

Fred Actaeon: So now what?

Martaues! You Phone/Beeper rings.

Martaues opens his phone, putting it up to his ear and answers "Hey cuz. I'm out at the store, you need something?"

Gator: (can I join in as Ryo getting his foot healed? I think that would make sense here.)

Gaven C. (GM): (Yeah.)

out of the room ryo enters!

Martaues: ( Just saying that as some stupid code, like "I'm in public you silly billy, pls don't shout about illegal stuff" )

Martaues gives a passing nod to Ryo, somehow being accustomed to him suddenly appearing out of nowhere.

Someguy: "Well, I actually need you guys to do some actual shopping."

Mr. Ryo Gato waves to Martaues and Fred. He does not say anything as someone is on the phone and would be impolite.

Martaues: "...Oh yeah? Huh. Alright. Should I get some paper n' a pen?"

Gaven C. (GM): "I'll just send it to ya on ya phone man."

Someguy: "I don't want ya to be an errand buy but long story short. White Christmas gone wrong durring a deal and I couldn't shop for my family."

Martaues: "Alright then. So what do you need me to get?"

Mr. Ryo Gato gestures "where is the rat who is crazy?"

Martaues: ( That's quite a detailed gesture )

Mr. Ryo Gato: (charades master!

Someguy: "Some plain clothing, Ice Skates, Some new ass console, Games for said new ass console, Booze of any kind really..."

Martaues somehow got that, and points a thumb back to the room behind him.

It goes on and on.

Martaues: "Right. Uh-huh... OK... Right, if that'll all be in a message that'd be great. Once I get it all, I'll call or message you so we can meet."

in other words, this is some sorta freeform buying, what ever you buy it's what he wanted.

Mr. Ryo Gato thumbs "where is the rest of him?"

unless you wanted it wrong on purpose for him.

Martaues tries his hand at gesturing while listening to the man's never ending list. Martaues points towards himself and brushes his hair around his non-augmented arm and face, then a clawed-downward motion and he points to the ground.

Mr. Ryo Gato: (We are to assail the fortress of consumer culture and plunder it's merryment. Our enemy is competitive buyers and limited inventory.)

Martaues: ( We the Grinch now boys )
( Steal Christmas for one dude because he was too lazy to get secret santa gifts for his family of 2000 )

Fred Actaeon: (he never said steal)

Martaues: ( I know :) )

Gaven C. (GM): (Yeah, but you CAN steal them.)

Martaues: ( But no, not gonna steal them. Besides, if it's a "just get whatever", don't see a purpose in getting the law on our backs. )

Gaven C. (GM): (head off?)

Martaues: ( Yep. )

Fred Actaeon: (Yeah, remember what we agreed to last week. :))

Mr. Ryo Gato: (stay off the hook?)

Gaven C. (GM): (What was the agreement last week?)

Mr. Ryo Gato: (keep in legal.)

Fred Actaeon: (No more crime related missions)

Mr. Ryo Gato: (we legit now.)

Gaven C. (GM): (It was more of a no more evil missions.)

Fred Actaeon: (OK)

A mall that's still alive, truly this is more unbelievable that all the technical enhancements we maded!

Mr. Ryo Gato: (definitely no assassinations.)
So what are we to buy?"

Martaues: "Apparently anything that suits as a gift."
"Don't think the guy gave me a limit or any real guidelines beyond that..." Martaues mutters, checking his phone to make sure.

Mr. Ryo Gato: "Can we just buy a dozen socks and be done with it?" He subtly gestures to his foot, which is in a protective boot.
I enter the mall. I take point on this mission.

Martaues: "Sounds like a good way to piss him off. Plain clothes are fine, but he wants more than that too. Just... pick whatever you two would think are good gifts, even for yourselves or other family member or somethin'."

Fred Actaeon: I remember to get some new armor after my previous set was destroyed.

Mr. Ryo Gato: "honestly speaking, I like socks."

Martaues: ( Actually yeah, I need to repair my AAS)

Mr. Ryo Gato: "What do you think are good gifts... I think your name is Fred?"

Fred Actaeon: (Is AAS the robot arm?)

Mr. Ryo Gato: (a logos bullet proof vest, basically.

you head to the guns and armor department for the first buying of smissmas shoping!

Martaues: ( Gun's would make a good gift. )

Fred Actaeon: (looking for concealed armor)

Martaues: "Needin' a repair on this AAS. How much is that gonna hurt my wallet?"

Gaven C. (GM): (price for consealed armor, 30hp 1300 dollars)
"Examining..."

Martaues: ( Fair price. But mind if I try to haggle it down 10%? )

Gaven C. (GM): (Sure.)

Mr. Ryo Gato: (straight into the guns section, huh?)

Gaven C. (GM): (Very passafist and not criminal.)

Mr. Ryo Gato: I examine the robot. Is this some gimmick Eo robot or a Logos robot?

The robots laugh at you for tring to haggle at a mall.

Gaven C. (GM): (roll to examine.)

Mr. Ryo Gato: Maybe I should roll for that.

Martaues doesn't realize until much later into his attempt at haggling a less hefty price, that he's essentially attempting to haggle down a price for a snack food at a vending machine.

Fred Actaeon: "I'm looking at concealed armor."

Martaues confirms transfer of $2500 credits.

Fred Actaeon chuckles at the idea of trying to haggle at a mall.

Martaues wanders around the store, first searching for a gift for the burnt rat then onto the job at hand.
you stumble around like a lost granny for 30 minutes until you se the eletronics was next to the gun store.

Gaven C. (GM): (and yeah, it's sandwiched between the guns and booze now.)

Martaues: ( woah, hey guys. Welcome to game place )

Mr. Ryo Gato: I find a attendant and ask for a game console.

Martaues: ( Copy that )

Clerk: "Greeting Sir do you have a LEVEL UP card on hand with you?"

Mr. Ryo Gato: No.

You know that Match it the flaming type, maybe he'll actually like coal?

Mr. Ryo Gato: (Crap, my character is only level 2.)

Martaues: ( Buy a level up card and eat it. Badabing, free experience. )

Clerk: "May I intrest you into signing up for many great deals like on trade in and magazine subscriptions..."

Mr. Ryo Gato: (I think Match probably would appreciate aloe, like a 10 gallon barrel.)

Fred Actaeon: (Sorry, I was looking for what to buy)

Martaues: "I mean... He'd probably like it, but th' whole recent thing... Jeez..." Martaues mumbles, wondering if a bag of coal would be a good gift or not.

Gaven C. (GM): (It doesn't need to be in the book for ya to buy it.)

Fred Actaeon: (OK, what do I need to roll in order to look for a store?)

the Clerk goes on and on Ryo.

Gaven C. (GM): (You can just say that you want to head to a place.)

Mr. Ryo Gato: (yeah, I'm trying to download an epub version of the book.)

Fred Actaeon: (I want to head to a automobile dealership. I could be the designated driver for the group while on Eo)

Martaues: ( Is there a store for music boxes? )
( Knick knacks and other stuff like that? )

Mr. Ryo Gato: I say clearly in the exact same tone as I spoke to the robot," WHERE-ARE-THE-VIDEO-GAMES?"

Gaven C. (GM): (Yeah.)

Mr. Ryo Gato: (my character is from Eo and can drive, besides the boot.

Fred you deside to head to the auto dealer.

Fred Actaeon: (Do any of you have a car?)

Mr. Ryo Gato: (Ah, my character wants a sword. Malls used to have those.)

you enter the store and see a list of cars and their prices.

Mr. Ryo Gato: (Nope!)

Martaues: ( Mart just takes taxis wherever he needs to go )

Fred Actaeon: (How big is the group usually?)

Gaven C. (GM): 4-5

Martaues: ( How much is a music box? )

Fred Actaeon: (I look for the cheapest 4 or 6 seater that won't be embarrasing for someone like Mart to ride in)

Martaues: ( All 6 seaters are embarrassing to drive in; they're mom-vans for parents who accidentally had too many kids on quick succession :^) )
( But nah, a car's a car. )

Gaven C. (GM): Van for 18k

Martaues investigates the Pop Culture shop, unsure of what exactly they sell.

Shirts with references and meme with a bunch of colect em all blind bags!

Gaven C. (GM): (In other word its hot topic.)

Martaues: Hope he has a merry Christmas and all

Martaues: Ah right, I don't play enough RPGs to buy or pirate books. Usually I'm just sent a PDF file, but the few games where that happened never happened, so I got no experience with getting rule books

Martaues messages the contractor, informing him that the gifts have been received.

Mr. Ryo Gato: Eh, when you're a gm you have to have to study it. Hate to say but it's mostly bathroom reading.

Someguy: "Thanks man, sorry for this being the job for ya, next time it will be an actual one."

Martaues: "Right, right. It's fine though. You want the stuff to be left outside?"

Mr. Ryo Gato: (ah, can I have dawned the santa suit?

Gaven C. (GM): (Yeah.)

Martaues: "Or we meeting to do the handin' out?"

Someguy: just head up to the door andI'll open it.

Martaues puts on the costume, smiling as he rambles to Ryo about a colleague of his that once hid from approaching cops by disguising himself in a Santa suit one year.

you see a short and stubby man open the door.

Mr. Ryo Gato: "I think you are making that up!"

Someguy: "Well... I expect you want a tip for dressing up like that."

Mr. Ryo Gato: I stop myself and greet the small man with bellowing laughs

Martaues: "Nah, nah... Got suited and all, and then he socked the guy that was supposed to be the-" Martaues starts, stopping as the door opens.

Gaven C. (GM): "I just didn't expect the real santa to be delivering all of this stuff."

Martaues: "Eh, aint my idea for this. But yeah, got some stuff from the mall fer you. Hope it's good."

Gaven C. (GM): "It's good, how much ya spent on all of this stuff?"

Martaues: ( I forgot. )
( Do you know? )

Gaven C. (GM): (Nope.)

Martaues: ( I think I spent $1000 or so, not counting other crap to help Match out. )

Mr. Ryo Gato: I think in santa day spirit we are to say we didn't spend anything."
the man takes a beer from the six pack and cracks it open and drinks it.

Mr. Ryo Gato: (I spent 150 on goods, 117 on costumes.

Gaven C. (GM): "All home made at the north pole?"
"Anyway, thanks for the shopping."

Martaues: "Eh... Yeah, man. 's no problem."

the man hands you 1500$

Mr. Ryo Gato: "It's nice to do something where no one was hurt." I say.

Martaues: "Bit slow, but a decent break. Should head back to the hospital real quick. Hopin' to drop this other stuff off to him."

Gaven C. (GM): (The hospitals visiting hours are over.)

Martaues: ( Was alright )

Mr. Ryo Gato: My plan was to lock you guys in a cave, so yeah this is better.

Martaues: ( I had an idea similar to the Santa side mission in Yakuza )

Mr. Ryo Gato: Man. Last night was horrible. Thanks for going, man.
