S1E4: Super Strikers

Cata sat on his sleeping bag and looked at the clock on his wall, watching the arms move and mimicking their sounds.
"Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick..."
His newly owned Swirlix,  Creampuff, looked at him qnd sighed.
"Cata," he asked, "Can you please stop saying tick tock?" Creampuff was annoyed today, knowing that a new companion was coming to join Cata's party of pokemon.
"Im sorry," said Cata, "but im excited that Chandelurist is gonna give me a new pokemon!"
"I'm not, I might not like him or her."
"Well, Chandy should be here right about now."
Cata and Creampuff looked at the door, hearing knocking sounds.
Cata rushed to the door and opened it, and to his surprise,  saw a Lampent accompanied by a Sychter.
"Wow, Chandy must love me," said Cata,  "she gave me TWO pokemon! "
"Not really," said the Lampent, "Master Chandelurist sent me to bring you your pokemon."
"Ok." Said Cata "Who are you by the way?"
"My name is Hollow, Master Chandelurist raised me the moment I hatched from my egg."
"Sweet."
"I dedicated my life to helping Master with her needs, whether its cooking for her, running her errands or tucking her in bed at night."
"So, slavery." Added Creampuff
"Slavery? Hah. In return for servicing her, she gives me more respect than she does any human or pokemon."
"Sweet." Said Cata
"Anyway, heres your gross bug pokemon." Hollow said, and disappeared in a puff of purple smoke.
"Huh," said Cata
"Well Sychter, " said Creampuff,  "welcome to your new home. Were gonna dislike each other for the rest of this series."
"Umm... ok." Said the bug pokemon, "I'm shy, so its gonna take a while getting used to being here."
"It's gonna be A-OK," said Cata to the Sychter,  "as long as Creampuff doesn't eat you alive, you'll be fine."
"O-ok.." said Sychter,  he looked at his new "friend," the Swirlix, and shuddered.
"Anyway, I'm going to give you a new name," said Cata, "Its Strike."
"Str-Strike?" Asked Strike, confused about the name he was given, "Why Strike?"
"Cuz Strike is the Japanese name for Scyther." Responed Cata, proud of his knowledge.
"So," noted Creampuff,  "if there was a Japanese Version of this fanfic, Strike the Scyther would be Scyther the Strike."
"Yes, I guess? I don't know."
Creampuff slowly shook his head.
"Tsk tsk tsk."
"Anyway," said Cata, ignoring Creampuff,  "What is your moveset, Strike?"
"Umm...." said Strike,  trying to remember,  "Fury Cutter, Wing Attack, Quick Attck, and Leer. My ability is Technician."
"That's nothing," boasted Creampuff,  "my moveset is Draining Kiss,  Aromatherapy, Flamethrower, and Calm Mind. Ability? Unburden,  of course."
Cata rolled his eyes.
"My first Pokemon just HAD to be an asshole to this cool Scyther." He said under his breath. "Anyway, Strike, your moveset is great! Good STAB moves, good Priority, Technician boost, all I have to do is replace Leer, and you're good to go!"
"Re-really?" Asked Strike.
"Yes."
At that moment, a Togetic, followed by Croven the Pillar Sage, busted into Cata's room.
"I found your hiding space, boy!" Yelled Croven.
"-_- Seriously? This is my ROOM, located in the MAIN HALLWAY."
"Well, you still haven't paid for my Scizor's health insurance!"
"Really? I been here for 4 days. Do you think I can pull money out of thin air, or the infinite void that is Creampuff's stomach? No, I can't."
"Shut up," said Croven, "Destroy him, Falcove!"
Falcove flew towards Cata to grab him, only to be knocked over by a Quick Attack.
"Not today, jackass." Said Strike.
"Well, mabye not today,  but tomorrow!" Said Croven, as he and Falcove ran out of Cata's room.
"Well, that was anti-climatic," said Cata.
"Yep." Said Strike.
"Welp, I gotta fix this door."
One hour later, Cata finished fixing the door and putting it on its hinges.
"Phew!" Said an exhausted Cata, "well thats over, why didn't you guys help?"
"Obviously because we have no hands, you idiot" said Creampuff.
"Well with no hands, you wont be able to block this."
"Block wha- OOF!
