- The anticipation overflows,
- You can feel it in the air,
- The stands are set, the contests planned,
- It’s time for the Bell Tree fair.
- A crowd is growing by the gate,
- A hundred faces filled with glee,
- Their excited voices drown out all sound,
- Until the mood shifts suddenly.
- Hungry eyes lock on a stand,
- As the fairground turns silent,
- It’s filled with things that are worth a lot,
- And even turn some violent.
- What might it be, you ask,
- That causes this reaction?
- What items are so rare and valuable,
- Evoking such passion and attraction?
- Hands are almost zombie like,
- As they stretch towards the prizes,
- An array of flawless and bright feathers,
- Of many colours and sizes.
- The gate opens finally,
- And the masses begin to pour in,
- Rushing to each stand and event,
- Doing all they can to win.
- But where is the fun in that,
- Playing only for the tickets?
- In their desperation for rare treasures,
- They’ve lost the true fair spirit.
- The organisers are in a slump,
- They don’t know what to do,
- To bring back the former joy of the fair,
- And end all this ado.
- Until a wave of inspiration hits,
- When they think about the game.
- How in Animal Crossing Festivale,
- Feathers fall from the sky like rain.
- Before too long the plan is set,
- And the feathers are adrift,
- Countless feathers of every colour,
- A special Bell Tree gift.
