  1. "Hey Mami, wait up!" the girl called Faust called out as she ran up to her blonde friend. The one known as Mami had two grocery bags on each arm, in need of help.
  2.
  3. "Faust-san, help would be appreciated." the girl immediately put her arm out toward the golden eyed girl before her. Faust examined the bags with both eyes before she looked at Mami. Without question, Faust held her arm out and took the bags that Mami had offered.
  4.
  5. "Thank you." the blonde said with a smile. She turned away and began to walk further down the sidewalk. "Faust-san, I'm making peach cake for dessert!"
  6.
  7. The words 'peace' and 'cake' were music to Faust's ears. Her face brightened up as she stormed after the blonde girl with a skip in her step. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Faust kept repeating those words in her mind. Mami's peach cake was a heavenly delight. Kyouko once said something about Mami using it to hypnotise girls or something. Faust couldn't remember the quote that well, but it was mostly true. Mami's desserts were unmatched.
  8.
  9. Once the pink haired girl caught up with her senior, both walked together. They forgot about witches, they forgot about their friends, now it was time to relax. "Mmm.." Faust moaned and licked the outside of her lips. She could just taste the cake now. The moist texture, the scent, it was all too much for her to bear. She pictured the finished product in her mind, rotating it to get the full effect.
  10.
  11. "Faust-san!" Mami called out as she stepped through the doubled doors of the apartment.
  12.
  13. Faust snapped out of it, shaking her head from left to right. "What is it Mami?"
  14.
  15. "We're home.. you've been standing there for the past minute." the girl let out a laugh. She had no idea why Faust had been standing there in a daze.
  16.
  17. "Oh, sorry Mami... just thinking about your peach cake!" Faust smiled a wide smile. The sooner they get inside, the sooner they can eat. Unconciously Faust moved her hands up, edging Mami to walk forward.
  18.
  19. "Faust-san... you're a bit impatient." Mami then turned away and made her way through the main floor. With each step she drew closer to the stairs that led into the second floor.
  20.
  21. A small, thin shadow passed behind Faust. "Leave everything behind."
  22.
  23. Faust's eyes shrunk as she turned around, looking for the mysterious dark figure. There was nothing behind her. Nothing but the walkway.
  24.
  25. "Faust-san, are you coming?" Mami called out from the bottom of the steps, looking out the doubled-doors and to her pink haired friend.
  26.
  27. "Yeah Mami I'm..." Faust can't talk as the shadow passed by her once again.
  28.
  29. "You'll leave everything behind..." the voice came to life once again. It sent a chill down the young, pink haired girl's spine. She couldn't move and she could hardly breathe.
  30.
  31. "Who are you?" Faust's eyes dart left and right, trying to find the source of the dark echo. She didn't recieve a response. The girl turned away, seeing the shadow walk down the road. Faust dropped the groceries and immediately began to pursue the human silhouette.
  32.
  33. "Faust-san!" Mami called out as she saw her friend just run away, out of sight.
  34.
  35. "You'll leave everything behind." the voice called out to Faust again.
  36.
  37. The pink haired girl was strong in pursuit of this mysterious force. It was leading her but she didn't know where. Faust's thoughts race, coming up with different questions. "Who are you? What do you want? Why are you targeting me?" the questions stop as soon as Faust realized where they ended up.
  38.
  39. They were in front of the Sakura Church. The sight of many battles in the past. Faust then looked around, trying to find the shadow. "Where did you GO!?" Faust called out into the evening light, only to recieve no answer. "COME OUT ALREADY!" again, no response.
  40.
  41. "You sure are loud." a familiar male voice pierces the silence. He walked out from the entrance to the church, leaning against one of the stain-glass walls.
  42.
  43. "Wait a second.. Randy!?" Faust knew who the boy was. She had asked Kyubey to track him down one day, only for the Incubator to find nothing.
  44.
  45. "You remembered my name.. although it's not that hard to remember." the boy, with a completely disinterested look on his face, walked forward to look Faust in the eye.
  46.
  47. "What do you want?" the pink haired girl took a step back. She didn't know what this teenage boy was but he was a monster. She could feel it in the pit of her stomach. He was something terrible.
  48.
  49. "You're interesting, Faust." the boy said with a frown. He looked completely disinterested in everything around him.
  50.
  51. "I've heard that ... alot." the girl flicks her pink hair out of her face, frowning. "Now what exactly are you doing here? Why did you throw that nonsense at me?"
  52.
  53. "Nothing in the world is nonsense. Without irrationality, where would we be? It gives birth to new ways of thinking." the boy said with a slight smile. What was he doing?
  54.
  55. Strangely, Faust didn't say anything. The girl tried to understand what he was saying and she caught on. She just nodded, taking another step back. "That's true but... why?"
  56.
  57. "Because you're interesting." again, with the same face he responded.
  58.
  59. "That's not an answer!"
  60.
  61. "It is." Randy then took a step forward with his hands in his pockets.
  62.
  63. "What's your intention?" Faust takes another step back as sweat forms on her brow. Faust didn't want to fight this thing. Whatever it was, she didn't want anything to do with it.
  64.
  65. "To see if you're a cut above the rest." Randy's expression doesn't change. He didn't pull his hands out of his pockets. He just stood there. Nothing about him had changed. "Come on now." the boy commanded Faust in his typical tone.
  66.
  67. Faust didn't know what to do. She didn't know whether to run. If she ran he'd find her. If she fought, she'd be killed. A fear like no other crept up her spine.
  68.
  69. "Draw your blades." Randy commanded once again, taking another step forward.
  70.
  71. "I'm not going to die here..." Faust whispered in a low murmur. Regardless of Randy's strength, Faust wasn't going to cave now, not ever. In a bright white light, Faust's magical girl attire appeared. The black trimmed armor overlayed with a red, long jacket. Brown boots and a black skirt. Chained stockings and her neck-brace which housed her Soul Gem were the last to appear. Faust raised both hands into the air. Two swords appeared in both hands. One was white and sleek while the other was black, broad and jagged. Veritas Luna and Dreadmoon.
  72.
  73. "Invigorating." Randy tossed Faust's words aside as mere banter. The brown haired boy crouched low to the ground before leaping forward.
  74.
  75. Faust's eyes widen in fear. Immediately the girl brought both blades up in an x-formation as she waited for Randy's attack to connect. Randy's leg smashed down onto both of the swords with such force, it caused the ground to shake. Veritas Luna's small frame cracked while Dreadmoon's held true. "Holy.. shit!" Faust yelled out as the white sword broke, causing the pink haired girl to leap back. She retreated for the moment, forming up another white sword.
  76.
  77. "Keep your eyes open." the boy said as he performed a back flip, landing on the ground. Randy drew his hand back, forming a small cluster of red energy. Electricity escapes from his palm and arm and in the next second, he tossed it straight at Faust. What came from Randy's hand was a long, thin dart of red energy.
  78.
  79. "I'm not taking my CHANCES!" Faust yelled out as she threw the black sword into the air, allowing it to spin. Using her free hand, Faust threw a long arrow of pink energy to intercept Randy's red projectile. The pink projectile ripped through the air, colliding with Randy's own. Upon impact, the energy arrow exploded in a sphere of pink. Faust smiled, thinking she had won. That wasn't the cause. The red dart zoomed forward and embedded itself into Faust's sword. The girl had taken up a last ditch effort to protect herself using her sword.
  80.
  81. The red dart exploded, breaking the sword as it sent Faust back into a tree. The golden-eyed girl winced in pain as her rear collided with the Earth. "Shit." Faust said to herself as she got to her feet. She pulled her head up, looking left and right for the brown haired boy. "Faust.. what are you doing!?" immediately snapping to her sense, Faust closed her eyes. A large, invisible dome expanded outward. The psychic dome scanned everything. Every blade of grass, every tree, every insect, everything. Faust opened her eyes wide, immediately grabbing the Dreadmoon which was embedded in the ground nearby. "That's your game." Faust said in a deep breath.
  82.
  83. Randy doesn't respond. He hadn't moved from the spot he had been standing in this entire time. With his hands still in his pocket, the boy walked forward. "Come on. I take interest and this is all you have to show for it? Disgraceful?" Randy raised his hand, building up a familiar reserve of red electricity. "Bye." and with that, Randy tossed yet another dart of red energy. It zoomed forward and through the air, targeting Faust's head.
  84.
  85. "Haa!" Faust ran forward with the Dreadmoon in hand. She was charging the red projectile. The girl swung downward at the energy bolt, only for it to explode upon impact. Faust's body was blown to pieces and scattered into the wind.
  86.
  87. Two streams cross one another, zipping straight to Randy's back. Faust's two black and white swords embed themselves into Randy's back. "Ack." Randy said as he took a step forward, taking in a deep breath. Two more sword come from the front as they stabbed Randy clean through the chest. "AGGHh.." the boy took a step back, blood flowing from his open skin. "Gah.." Randy looked down at each hilt of each sword.
  88.
  89. A thin, pink thread tied each and every blade together. "Don't underestimate me." Faust, unseen, pulled the thread. Randy was no longer visible as each sword blew up in a plethora of pink energy. Randy flew through the air and fell onto the ground, rolling frantically before stopping at a tree. Upon impact, the tree fell over with Randy on top. The boy held a lifeless look in his eyes.
  90.
  91. "Get up." Faust stood up as the illusion wore off. She didn't move a muscle, she sent the first clone toward the projectile to cancel it. The second after she threw four of her own swords for the real attack. Faust wasn't going to leave any openings, none at all.
  92.
  93. Randy peeled himself off of the tree, landing on the ground with both feet. "Wow.. hahaha... that was rescourceful." Randy made the comment as he leaped into the air, landing only a few meters in front of Faust.
  94.
  95. Faust took in a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. She had to plan every second, every move. With the combination of Foresight and Time Slow she felt as though she can take him head on. "Come on Randy, show me what you can DO!" the girl charged forward with Veritas Luna and Dreadmoon in hand.
  96.
  97. Randy smiled for the first time in the entire fight. He ran forward in order to meet Faust head on. He swung his hand out of his pocket, meeting Faust's black sword head on. He held the blade back with his bare knuckles. Faust swung Veritas Luna low in order to slash Randy at his waist. Randy countered by pushing Faust's black sword and Faust herself away, leaving him unscathed.
  98.
  99. Faust went in for seconds, performing a cross-slash with both swords. Randy responded in the same manner as last time. He blocked both blades with his bare knuckles. Faust began to sweat, exerting all of that strength only for no result. The red Puella Magi initiated Time Slow. Her body blurred as she let go of both swords. She summoned up two more as she positioned herself behind Randy. She slashed with all of her might. Performing a scissor slash in order to cut Randy in two.
  100.
  101. The sound of metal clashing rings through out the forest. Randy had grabbed the first Veritas Luna that Faust had given up and wedged it between Faust's scissor attack. "No go." was all that Randy said before breaking their tangled attacks. With one burst of his red aura, Randy had launched Faust back and into the air. The Puella Magi recovered by flipping in mid air, landing on the ground just before the entrance to the Sakura Church.
  102.
  103. With each breath, Faust was losing strength.
  104.
  105. "This church is a pretty nice place." Randy said as he blurred forward with a palm out. Faust didn't have any time to react. Her body was thrust through the doors of the church and sent flying. She flipped and danced in the air before she smashed down onto the main stage. Wood and debris fly about in the air before they came to rest on the ground.
  106.
  107. "Aghh..." Faust felt the pain of her ribs moving themselves back into place. Sayaka's regeneration worked to the best of its abilities, allowing Faust to move again. "That raw strength and speed... I have to... do something." the girl took in another deep breath, standing up.
  108.
  109. In a blur, Randy appeared in the entrance to the church. He walked with his hands in his pockets, frowning a sad frown. "Come now, my toy can't be broken already."
  110.
  111. "Toy? Shut up.. I'm not your toy." the pink haired girl stood up from the wooden crater. She leaped onto the main floor, eying Randy. "Huff...huff..." Faust took in two deep breaths, mustering all the strength she could.
  112.
  113. "There's not point in hiding, Faust." Randy blurred out of sight, moving down the aisle at an unseen speed. Faust summoned up Veritas Luna and Dreadmoon. She had no time to dodge or protect herself. She had to take the onslaught up front. Randy swung forward as he aimed a fist at Faust's head. The girl responded by blocking the fist with the broad-side of her white sword. Randy quickly drew back his attacking fist. The boy aimed a punch at Faust's face, only for the Puella Magi to dodge it. The boy's fists became blurs, trying to attack every opening he could find. Faust responded in kind as she blocked every strike with slashes of her own. Metal clashed and sparks flew. The two were at odds with one another. Faust began to tire out while Randy continued the onslaught.
  114.
  115. "Huff..huff...huff.." Faust breathed in and out at different intervals. The girl saw when they were coming, she saw where they would hit. The problem was in actually blocking the attack. She couldn't do it for much longer. "HAA!" she mustered all of her energy for another wave of attacks. She continued to block each strike. Left, right, up, down, every punch she parried with her swords.
  116.
  117. "Play time's over, Faust." Randy drew back as he vanished into thin air.
  118.
  119. Faust made the mistake of breathing in. Before she even opened her mouth, Randy burst forward, breaking through the air. A loud crunch broke the silence. Randy appeared once more. The boy had punched Faust in the stomach with the fore of a sonic boom. The church shook as Faust flew through the air, smashing into the wooden crater again.
  120.
  121. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!" Faust yelled out in agony. The pain of that attack, the pain that was coursing through her body was too much. Her tiny body couldn't bear it any longer. "AAhhhhh..." she cried out again, pulling herself from the crater. "AGh.. ahhh.." tears stream down her face as she fell backward.
  122.
  123. "My interest was misplaced. What a pity." the boy said with a frown. He was done with Faust and was intent on ending her life.
  124.
  125. Faust stood up from the ground using the last of her strength."This... light is my own." the girl's body began to glow with a bright light. Strangle runic letters orbit around her.
  126.
  127. "Hm?" Randy's interest piqued. He didn't know what she was doing, but he wanted to find out.
  128.
  129. "No one can take it from us... no one can hide it." the letters branch out as even more appear.
  130.
  131. Randy doesn't hesitate. He crouched and then leaped forward. He had no intent of letting Faust finish the rest of the chant. The boy swung his arm down, only to be thrown back and down to the aisle of the church. He smiled, standing up as he placed his hands in his pockets.
  132.
  133. "The pain we've endured... the tears we'ved shed... all for nothing..." Faust closed her eyes, the white letters bursting with a terrible inferno. "AND ALL FOR EVERYTHING!" the light engulfed the entire church. The space around both Faust and Randy changed. Yellow clouds now made up the sky and ground and a stary heaven surrounded them. "This is where it ends..." Faust's armor fell off and dissipated into the ground, leaving her chest bare. She tied the red coat around her waist by the sleeves.
  134.
  135. Randy stood there, smiling. "What is this?" he asked the question as he looked into the heavens.
  136.
  137. "My own world."
  138.
  139. Randy smiled wide. "I must apologize, my interest wasn't misplaced. So you've figured it out?"
  140.
  141. "I can't say I have but I have to use everything I've got." Faust smiled, blood running down her chin. The girl completely changed. The worry, the doubt, it was all gone. Her eyes changed from gold to a blood red. She wasn't mad, she was determined. Her Soul Gem was nowhere to be found on her body. It was disguised, somewhere, some place where Randy was unable to find it.
  142.
  143. Randy took a step back, but smiled shortly after. "Shall we?" in the next second, the boy ran forward, straight at the pink haired girl.
  144.
  145. Faust summoned up Veritas Luna and the Dreadmoon for another go. The girl crouched down before she leaped into the air to meet Randy head on. The boy threw a punch at Faust's face, only for the girl to crouch under it. Faust slashed at Randy's legs and Randy responded by leaping into the air. A horizontal white streak beams into the air, slicing Randy's forehead. Blood stains the blade as black streak ripped through the air. Randy's white shirt, now stained with blood, falls off his body. Randy flipped backward and through the air, landing just before Faust.
  146.
  147. "Time manipulation plus foresight." Randy said with a satisfied grin.
  148.
  149. Faust didn't answer him. She only initiated another attack. Three white streaks fly from the heavens and into Randy. The attempted attack is thwarted as Randy raised an arm, forming a red shield just above his head. The three white swords dissipated into thin air after the failed attack. Two black arcs swung down, breaking through Randy's red shield. His arms narrowly survived the attack. Blood is drawn from the boy's forearm. He leaped back in the nick of time, avoiding full injury.
  150.
  151. Hundreds upon hundreds of pink arrows sail through the air. Randy doesn't flinch. He responded by raising an arm, building up a surplus of red energy. He swung his arm forward as a dozen red darts fly forth. The energy arrows continue through Randy's onslaught, however the arrows intent on hitting the boy were gone. The inhuman male had intercepted them with his own attack.
  152.
  153. "I hope you mean what you say Randy." Faust said as she leaped down from the ground, swinging a large sword, two handed sword down at Randy. The boy easily guarded it, using his uninjured arm. He pushed forward, causing Faust to flip to fall back and land on the ground just in front of him. "That your interest wasn't misplaced." the pink haired girl forms another two-handed sword in her other hand. She stood as if they weighed nothing. She twirled one in hand before beckoning Randy to attack.
  154.
  155. "I'm going to stop playing now... The little girl has had her fun." a red aura picked up around the boy. The Reality Marble surrounding Randy was being torn apart. He was replacing it with his own world, his own universe. "This is where-"
  156.
  157. Two grey arcs tear through the new dimension, destroying them completely.
  158.
  159. Randy's eyes widen in genuine surprise. "What...?"
  160.
  161. "The magic I'm drawing from is something you'd never be able to comprehend." Faust smiled. A blood red aura zipped around the girl as she tightly gripped each sword. "This world is something you'd never be able to comprehend... That's why you're going to lose."
  162.
  163. "Your the same as me." Randy stated, the smile still showing.
  164.
  165. "No, I'm greater than you." without wasted breath, Faust ran forward at Randy. The magic Faust was drawing from was none other than Madoka and Sayaka's. The girl had to apologize for using it, but it was the only way to defeat this monstrosity.
  166.
  167. Randy blurred as he sprinted forward to intercept Faust. The boy swung his arm forward, smashing into Faust's face. The girl took the blow, only to spin around and hit Randy square in the face with a round-house kick. Faust continued with the spinning motion, swinging one of the large blades out to catch Randy's neck. It failed as the boy crouched down to the ground, panting. Randy, of all people, was out of breath.
  168.
  169. "CAN'T KEEP UP?" Faust cried out as she closed in on Randy. The girl threw both of her swords at the elder god. Randy retreated further back, bringing up both of his arms. A large, red barrier overlapped the boy's arms. He was expecting both Amaranthine swords to collide against the red barrier. Each blade separated into two pairs of black and white swords. They fly around, orbiting Randy as all four close in on his back. He reacted by erecting another barrier from behind. The four blades bounced off and began to circle around the scarlet shield.
  170.
  171. "Mighty wind... fast and cold as steel..." Faust continues a chant as the blades continue to circle her opponent. "...hidden under the righteous light of the moon..." each blade begins to glow with a bright white light. "...elegant and swift..." the blades reform into the two-handed swords once again. "... strike true!" the two swords combine into a single light. The light expands outward before multiplying. Out from the light came an onslaught of spinning swords.
  172.
  173. Each sword smashes into Randy's shield, weakening it with each hit. Randy fed the shield more energy but it wasn't enough. It cracked and that was the end. The attack kept coming. Each sword cut away at the elder god's flesh. Randy's body was cut over and over. "Gh.." Randy let out a grunt as he attempted to dodge. There was nowhere to run.
  174.
  175. Faust leaped into the air as she grabbed the light in the sky. It formed into a two-pronged lance known only as the Lance of Longinus. Without hesitation, Faust threw it down and straight at Randy. It burst through the air before lodging itself into his stomach.
  176.
  177. "GAAHHHH!!" Randy took a few steps back, blood trickling down his mouth. "... ... Haha..." Randy let a solemn laugh escape as his body dissipated into a large cluster of darkness.
  178.
  179. Faust took in a deep breath, landing on the ground as all of her weapons had vanished. The Reality Marble's effect diminished as did Faust's remaining energy. The girl fell onto the ground, her magical girl attire vanishing. Her eyes fell back into their natural gold state. Her Soul Gem was about to break, the energy exerted during that conflict was too much for even her.
  180.
  181. The boy known as Randy bent down, grabbing Faust's ring. He held a Grief Seed out, purifying the tainted gem. "You're truly something." Randy said with a smile, placing the ring back on Faust's finger. "Continue fighting and you'll find your answer." the boy said as he turned away and toward the Sakura Church. He raised a hand as the wooden stage fixed itself in the blink of an eye. Randy then snapped his fingers. The clouds in the sky began to move again, the birds began to chirp. He had created a private pocket of space just for their fight. No interruptions could occur unless warranted by Randy himself.
  182.
  183. "You have a purpose to fulfill Faust. Keep on fighting." with those parting words, he leaves the small girl to her fate.
  184.
  185. "Faust-san!" Mami ran down the pathway, looking at Faust. "Faust-san!"
  186.
  187. Faust was conscious for only those last few moments. She heard Randy's words, she heard Mami's pleas. She lost consciousness shortly after.
  188.
  189. ==========================================================================================================================================
  190.
  191. "Ugh..." Faust rose up out of bed, holding her head. "What's going on..." the girl looked around the room, finding nothing of interest. Same bed, same walls, same floor, everything was the same. She pulled herself out of bed and moved toward the curtains. With one flick of her wrist, they fell open to reveal a beautiful night sky. "Wait.. Randy.. I fought Randy." the girl looked down, examining her body. Nothing was amiss. No injuries, her Soul Gem was pure. There was no proof of such a fight.
  192.
  193. "Faust-san!" Mami called out from the living room. "I have some tea and Peach cake prepared just for you!"
  194.
  195. The thought of eating Peach Cake completely drowned out any thoughts of a fight. Faust's stomach growled just after Mami had said that.
  196.
  197. "Uh.. alright, I'm coming Mami!"
  198.
  199. [=The End=]
