  26. 01[19:33] <~zoofman> The train's brakes start to screetch as you approach the town's station. You are fairly packed tight in the seats of the train, as there are quite a few of you, but it's not unbearable. Outside the windows, you see a grassy field with spotches of snow here and there. It's spring, and chilly, so not all of it has melted quite away yet.
  27. 01[19:33] <~zoofman> The town itself sits in the distance. A concrete wall and metal gates barricade most of it, and smoke rises slowly from what appears to be factory towers.
  28. 01[19:35] <~zoofman> As the train begins to slow a man in uniform walks down the middle of your cabin. "Gather your belongings, comrads. They seem to have work for your batch immediately!"

  30. 06[19:38] * AnnaS stands up stoically and gathers her fiddle case.
  31. [19:38] <Anatoly> Anxiety would seem to be the least of Anatoly's worries as he picks up the meager bag that counted as his belongings. The trip on the way here is not so bad, and seeing it was like moving from one factory to another seemed little difference to him. Maybe the other significant difference is that he now directly serves his motherland, instead of just toiling in silence.
  32. 06[19:39] * Dmitri scowls irritably at the lack of personal space. Not one five years ago he would have been riding in luxury and in a train car he could call his own. When the uniformed man asks them to gather their belongings he can only scoff. As if these impoverished nobodies had anything to call their own.
  33. 01[19:41] <~zoofman> Eventally the train comes to a halt inside the city's walls. Two heavy metal doors close behind it as the cabin doors open. The uniformed man from earlier stomps his foot and points out. "Make haste then, the comissar is waiting!"
  34. 06[19:41] * AnnaS seems to walk with an stern sense of purpose towards where they tell her to go. She betrays no emotion on her face.

  38. 06[19:44] * Dmitri brushes hair out of his eyes and retrieves his own, admittedly, meager belongings before marching on ahead of the others with a thoughtful expression gracing his features.
  39. 06[19:44] * Anatoly waits for the train to finally stop, having the chance earlier to look at his travel companions. He is not sure where everyone else is from, and there is little time now to try and figure that out. He follows behind the one in front of him as they are ordered to get out of the train.
  40. 01[19:45] <~zoofman> Outside is a paniced mess of sorts. Men and woman in uniform seem to have a little assembly line going they send you down. The first handing pokeballs to those who don't have one to people, seemingly arbitraryly, from a large crate of them. After that a woman seems to be handing out odd items left and right. A shovel here, a backscratcher there, boxing gloves, slingshots, a rifle...
  41. 01[19:45] <~zoofman> It doesn't take much to notice it's just a collection of odd weapons.
  42. 01[19:45] <~zoofman> Likewise they march you down the path, tossing items at you until you're filed into formation.

  44. [19:46] <Grigori> Grigori begins to take notice of his surroundings stifling his distant thoughts of his laboratory
  45. 01[19:48] <~zoofman> The town itself around you...is familiar and home-like enough for most of you. It is, essentially, your run of the mill town factory town with the amendnum of a wall and a makeshift military barracks.
  46. 06[19:48] * Anatoly finds himself receiving a wrench, and a pokeball. While not something he would consider a weapon, he was not complaining. At least it is not a backscratcher- pity the poor soul who ended up receiving that as a means to defend one's self.
  47. 06[19:49] * AnnaS holds up his case and pokeballs to anyone who tries to hand her anything.
  48. [19:49] <Anatoly> There's also some of the breakfast vodka. Anatoly had not tried one of that, but have heard from older coworkers from his home town that it does its job.
  49. [19:49] <AnnaS> *her
  50. 01[19:50] <~zoofman> But the main focus is on a man in a large fancy hat and long cloak. He's standing on top of a wooden crate, and has a Hitmonlee to his left and chan to his right, standing at attention.
  51. 06[19:50] * Stali gains a clanky battering shield and a Pokeball himself. Examining the shield, he found it to his displeasure. He had to give up working the working man's life for this?
  52. 06[19:50] * Grigori Unfamiliar with a military life style begins to shuffle towards the most well decorated individual he can see in order to ask for directions
  53. 06[19:50] * Dmitri pointedly refuses the weaponry, having carried his own, but accepts the Pokeballs with a grim nod of approval, eyeing the workforce with barely hidden disdain.
  54. 01[19:51] <~zoofman> He fiddles with a megaphone the hitmonchan hands him, tries talking into it. Seems to be off, he fiddles some more. The Lee facepalms, snatches it from him, flips it on and hands it back. "Test, test? Ah, yes! Now then."
  55. 06[19:53] * Stali turns to listen to the man with the megaphone.
  56. 06[19:54] * AnnaS listens as well, straightening up her grey dress to be presentable to the man.
  57. 06[19:54] * Anatoly looks to the direction of the man holding the megaphone.
  58. 06[19:55] * Dmitri stares at the cloaked man with feigned disinterest.
  59. 06[19:55] * Grigori , is still intent on heckling for directions
  60. 01[19:55] <~zoofman> "Welcome comrads, I am Comissar Komorav, your Glorious Captain of Comrad's Moral and Order. I am directly responsible for every one of you and well being of great fortress town of Pochinok."

  62. 01[19:57] <~zoofman> "As new arivals to great town of Pochinok, tonight shall be great celebration to welcome arrival of new comrads. But not without earning it first," he shakes his finger, gestures to a gate that his Hitmonchan and lee rush over to open out into the meadows beyond.

  64. 01[19:59] <~zoofman> "Winter was harsh on the town's supply of preservatives. We require honey, and hands to retrieve it from Soviet Honey Farm."
  65. 06[19:59] * AnnaS doesn't like where this is going
  66. 01[20:01] <~zoofman> "You, you, you you you you..." he starts to randomly point people out, which just so convienently happens to be the six of you! "You shall go forth to honey farm southeast of town. Look for little comrads at work. The rest of you, follow me to pastry factory. We have mutant ratatta infestation from experimental experiments!"
  67. 06[20:01] * Grigori relents from trying to converse with the hardfaced soviet soldiers and focus's back on the wooden crate
  68. [20:01] <Anatoly> Honey, that sounds nice. Anatoly figured it would not be so bad helping in restocking the town's supply after winter.
  69. [20:02] <AnnaS> "Honey..."
  70. 01[20:02] <~zoofman> He leads the masses off, leaving just the six of you in the train station courtyard. Well, you two and the hitmonchan and lee waiting paitently for you to move out.
  71. [20:02] <AnnaS> "How... appropriate..." A little bit of an evil smirk appears on her face, but only for a moment.
  72. [20:02] <Anatoly> ... at least they don't have to deal with the rattata infestation, whatever a mutant rattata would look like...
  73. [20:02] <Stali> "Honey farm easy job." Stali nods. "Will done fine."
  74. 06[20:03] * AnnaS instantly changes her demeanor, looking to her five Comrades suddenly, "Well, then, I suppose introductions are in order."
  75. [20:04] <AnnaS> :) "I'm Anastaaaa--aaaI mean Anna. Anna Stazia-no-kovovich. Yeah, that's right."
  76. 06[20:04] * Dmitri stares at the group imperiously, "Well? Get on with it."
  77. 06[20:04] * AnnaS curtsies, "It's a pleasure to meet all of you."
  78. [20:06] <Stali> "Stali Svarshchika. Father, mother, all work, make steel. I follow." You can probably detect a bit of a sneer towards Anna, who in his mind was kissing up to the rest of the group.
  79. [20:06] <Anatoly> "Anatoly Shchito, it will be a pleasure to be of service to the motherland together with you." He gives a curt nod and a shy smile. Will they be working together from now on?
  80. 06[20:06] * Grigori Blankly stares at the group , "right im called Grigori...which division do you belong to?"
  81. [20:08] <AnnaS> "I suppose we belong to the same division, now."
  82. [20:08] <Dmitri> When the peasants are finished with their introduction, Dmitri steps up and impassively passes his gaze over the assembled group. "And I am Dmitri, a name you would best remember."
  83. [20:08] <Grigori> "so your a scientist miss Anna?"
  84. [20:09] <AnnaS> "Oh heavens no. I was a simple peasant girl making a simple peasant life before I was brought here to serve simply for the simple joy of my fellow simple comrades." :3
  85. 06[20:10] * Anatoly only responded with a nod, letting everyone else figure things out, "We should get moving- harder to get job done if sun starts going down."
  86. 06[20:10] * Stali gives Dmitri a bit of a snarl; the motherland means equal to all. No one deserves special treatment, no matter how stuck up he seems to be.
  87. [20:10] <AnnaS> "I remember there was a beefarm nearby to where I lived. I did love the combees ever so much. I wonder if it's possible to capture a female."
  88. 06[20:10] * Dmitri returns the snarl with a sneer of his own and just as quickly turns to Anatoly, "Very well."
  89. 06[20:11] * Stali nods and starts walking, wondering if everyone else would be puny imperialists.
  90. [20:11] <Grigori> " Modesty suites us all well but dont invoke flattery ...you clearly must be a scientist to be in the science division"
  91. [20:11] <AnnaS> "Oh? I thought we were in the "Honeygathering" division." :I
  92. [20:11] <Dmitri> "We may as well be."
  93. [20:12] <Dmitri> "What a state the regime has fallen into. To send their soldiers to retrieve honey..."
  94. [20:12] <Stali> "You coming?" Stali says without turning back at everyone behind him. Slowpokes.
  95. 06[20:12] * AnnaS begins towards the gates then, "Well? Like Comrade Anatoly says, let's not burn daylight."
  96. 01[20:12] <~zoofman> The hitmonlee and chan snicker at each other at the talk of 'divisions'

  99. 06[20:13] * Anatoly would want to add something to that, but found nothing to add in. He does quicken his pace, with trusty wrench and pokeball placed in their proper holsters of his belt.
  100. [20:13] <Grigori> "I was told that some of the best researchers of my field were stationed in pochinok and since im stationed with you miss Anna you clearly must be a scientist researching the art vodkology"
  101. 06[20:14] * Grigori stumbles along in a daze while talking to Anna
  102. [20:14] <AnnaS> "I'm sorry, you must have me mistaken for someone else. I play the fiddle."
  103. [20:14] <AnnaS> "But, Comrade Grigori, if you're a scientist, then perhaps you can help be on the lookout for a female combee. If it's possible I might like to capture one." :D
  104. 06[20:14] * Dmitri withdraws a knife from his pants pockets and twirls them in his hands, "I somehow doubt the men and women we have seen today are researchers of any sort of caliber."
  105. 06[20:15] * Stali grunts as to agree with Dmitri. "Hard work for all. Like home."
  106. [20:16] <Dmitri> "Yes hard work...in the...work...factories."
  107. [20:16] <Grigori> " A vodka laden fiddle that combines the principles of chaos distilling with the vibration of the string?"
  108. [20:16] <Grigori> "fascinating"
  109. 06[20:16] * Svetlana seemingly was following alone the whole time, quite silently as well
  110. [20:16] <AnnaS> "???"
  111. [20:17] <Stali> "Factory best work. Family not so lucky, must work next to house."
  112. [20:17] <Grigori> " i clearly see why your here as my colleague "
  113. [20:17] <AnnaS> "Oh!" Anna breaks away from Grigori to speak with Svetlana, "I'm so sorry, but we never got your name."
  114. 06[20:17] * Anatoly makes sure they are heading the right direction. Experience working in factory towns like his home town taught him you don't want to stay out in the dark unless necessary. Even then, you don't want to stay in the dark even when necessary.
  115. 01[20:18] <~zoofman> As you get moving as you talk, the chan and lee shut the gate behind you. You can see them a few minutes later on the palisades, however, looking sorta bored as you walk off.
  116. 06[20:18] * Svetlana looks at the girl and speaks in a deeper, velvety voice. "Svetlana." She nods
  117. 06[20:20] * Stali looks around the area. "Who know where honey farm?"
  118. 01[20:20] <~zoofman> The fields outside are a quiet grasslands, it's chilly but not too bad. Roll me...

  138. 01[20:23] <~zoofman> All of you but Anna, who obviously was the only one on the other side of the train's cabin, recall seeing what looked like some farm fields and a barn on the ride in.
  139. 01[20:23] <~zoofman> You could fairly easily navigate to it based on where you saw it.
  140. 06[20:24] * Stali starts walking along the tracks towards the farm, then. "This way, quickly."
  141. 06[20:24] * Svetlana thinks to herself and then nods. "Come, follow. Farm is in the direction as such!" She walks that way
  142. [20:24] <AnnaS> "Lovely."
  143. 06[20:25] * Anatoly nods. It is the direction he surmised the farm should be, remembering he saw some combee earlier while in the train.
  144. 06[20:25] * Grigori Hurries along side the others and brings out benka
  145. [20:26] <Grigori> "just in case"
  146. 06[20:26] * Dmitri releases Eligor as he runs, "As we practiced..."
  147. [20:27] <Svetlana> "Just in case? Maybe, should I ready supplies?"
  148. 06[20:27] * Anatoly releases his pokemon, out comes a klink.
  149. [20:27] <Anatoly> He figures he should name it... Peredach.
  150. [20:27] <AnnaS> "Good idea. Come Nicholas."
  151. 06[20:28] * AnnaS releases a Snivy, which drapes itself around her shoulders like an ermine
  152. 06[20:28] * Stali takes out a brown mon with a black head similar to the shield Stali was wearing, who follows along.
  153. [20:29] <Dmitri> The large rock Pokemon stamps the ground and gently rubs its rocky exterior against Dmitri who scowls and pats it down.
  154. 01[20:29] <~zoofman> The bear stumbles along at it's masters side in a daze of sorts its own. Eligor grunts and nods, staying close to Dmitri as well and glaring at all all these LITTLE BABY MONS.
  155. 06[20:29] * Svetlana shakes her head as a sentret pops out from a pokeball under her hat, looking like one of them hats
  156. [20:29] <Dmitri> How his brother had managed to tame and breed these creatures he could never tell.
  157. [20:30] <Anatoly> The klink seems to agree with the name it receives... at least it can be assumed to be agreeable.
  158. 01[20:31] <~zoofman> The Shieldon waddles along, struggling to keep up, while Nicholas and the Sentrent shudder, hugging close to their masters for comfort.
  159. 01[20:31] <~zoofman> The klink just...follow slowly, watching everyone, always. waiting.
  160. [20:31] <Svetlana> "Predves, comrade, be calm."
  161. [20:31] <Dmitri> "Down, Eligor," he says firmly, "they cannot harm you."
  162. 06[20:31] * Svetlana pats the hugging Sentrat
  163. [20:32] <Grigori> The Spinda drunkenly shuffles after Grigori relishing a long sigh " Puhiii"
  164. 06[20:32] * AnnaS strokes the poor leafy creature, "It's alright Nicholas. We'll get you in a nice warm bed after we gather some honey. You might even get a little sister Combee." :3
  165. 01[20:33] <~zoofman> Predves and Nicholas seem to calm down a bit as you approach the fields. Currently, they are bare of vegitation, but you can see workers tilling and planting. Well...'workers'....
  166. [20:33] <Stali> "Hm. Prome, keep." Stali says simply to press the Shieldon to keep up.
  167. [20:34] <Anatoly> "Peredach, we'll be good tovarishch," Anatoly said with a nod, "Let us proceed to ensure honey will be collected."
  168. [20:34] <Svetlana> "The simple workers continue to do as they have been placed!" Svetlana chuckles and continues for HONEY
  169. 01[20:34] <~zoofman> Paras and crustles skitter across the fields, digging up holes and moving here and there. Venipedes follow behind, dragging big sacks of seeds with them. They fling the seeds into the ground with their tails, and one of the diggers returns later to cover the hole.
  170. 01[20:35] <~zoofman> It's strange to watch, but oddly efficient. And you notice they all have little strawhats on.
  171. [20:36] <Grigori> Fixited by the straw hats benka begins to stagger towards a paras
  172. 06[20:36] * Stali looks around for where the honey is kept.
  173. [20:36] <Anatoly> There should be a path to honey farm. This should be no problem..
  174. 01[20:37] <~zoofman> The paras tries to shoo the bear away, gesturing back to the ground.
  175. [20:37] <Dmitri> Seeing his rhyhorn fixated on the small bugs Dmitri says, "Eligor. I feel I must remind you that they are not for you to eat."
  176. [20:37] <Grigori> Benka reveals a small flask and attempts to negotiate a trade
  177. [20:37] <Svetlana> "Xa-xa! Look at the little insects work! It's most amusing!"
  178. 01[20:39] <~zoofman> A few of the bugs pause their work to look toward your group. Intuition checks!
  179. [20:39] <Stali> "Comrades, look for honey." Stali almost barks, to snap their attention back to the task at hand.

  193. 01[20:41] <~zoofman> Dmitri, Svetlana and Anatoly get the impression they were confused why you were here. The mention of honey seems to jog their thought process. Most of them continue to work as a crustle waddles over toward you.

  195. 01[20:43] <~zoofman> It points you toward a barn a bit off before returning to digging itself.
  196. [20:43] <AnnaS> So 10 as if that helps
  197. [20:44] <Anatoly> "These are good comrades," Anatoly remarked, expressing his gratitude at having the direction pointed to them. Assured they are heading of the right track, he decided to lead the way.
  198. 06[20:44] * Stali looks at the Pokemon before heading towawrds the barn, assuming he can see it. Otherwise, he follows someone who does go towards there.
  199. [20:44] <Grigori> "This isnt vodka science but as a vodka scientist i think there might be something in that barn worth investigating"
  200. 06[20:44] * Grigori walks towards the barn with benka
  201. [20:45] <AnnaS> "Oh good! Thank you very much Mr. Crustle."
  202. 06[20:45] * AnnaS walks towards the Barn as well.
  203. 01[20:45] <~zoofman> The crustle nods, and waves you off.
  204. [20:45] <Dmitri> "You have served me well," Dmitri says as he nods.
  205. 06[20:45] * Svetlana holds out a hand to the crustle and nods to it. "Continue on with your regularly schedule work." She then continues to Mr. barn
  206. 01[20:46] <~zoofman> It takes about ten minutes but you eventually reach the barn and a silo. You notice a good bit of activity here!
  207. 06[20:47] * Grigori Takes a good hard look at whats going on in the silo
  208. 06[20:47] * Svetlana takes a look at the silo
  209. 06[20:48] * Stali keeps walking, looking for where the honey is.
  210. 06[20:48] * Anatoly takes a closer look. This would be his first time to see an actual honey farm as opposed to hearing about it.
  211. 06[20:48] * AnnaS is on the lookout for COMBEES :D:D
  212. 06[20:49] * Dmitri pats Eligor as they approach the silo, so as to prime the Pokemon for action.
  213. 06[20:49] * Grigori shakes benka off his leg
  214. 01[20:50] <~zoofman> To the side of the barn you see the bee colonies, with Combees with little metal worker hats flying about hard at work. Beautiflies hover above them, it's not exactly clear why though. In front of the barn, you see a large stump that a collection of Kricketots have made into a table of sorts. They are chattering amongst themselves and sipping something from little metal goblets. The barn door itself is chained shut.

  409. 01[21:20] <@zoofman> The two start to bark and prepare to attack as you approach, till the venonat calms them down.
  410. [21:22] <Anatoly> "What seems to be the problem, comrades?" Anatoly inquires the barn crew, putting his wrench back into its holster to approach after the venonat clears the confusion up.
  411. [21:23] <Dmitri> "Pokemon royalty?" he thinks curiously.
  412. 06[21:24] * Dmitri approaches and kneels, looking to see how the Pokemon react to him.

  414. 01[21:26] <@zoofman> The combee seems to be in a daze of sorts, not really minding much of anything. The karrablast and Shelmet look hesitant to act at the venonat's request.
  415. 01[21:26] <@zoofman> They glare back ato Grigori and start to squabble as the Venonat tries to intervene.
  416. [21:26] <Anatoly> "It was a simple misunderstanding. They look to be guards for this combee." Anatoly said as he checks up on the combee as well. It does look to be behaving unusually.

  418. [21:27] <Dmitri> "Well, it's best that we do not think of such things." he says with a tight smile.
