Petting Rainbow Dash

>It was another warm, sunny, lazy day in Equestria.
>You and Rainbow Dash were acting accordingly, hanging out in the park.
>She was preforming her new trick, one she had dubbed "the most amazingly awesome thing you've ever seen, ever."
>You were seated underneath a tree, watching her fly.
>You could sit here for centuries, completely content with life.
>After Dash finishes her stunt, she lands next to you with extreme grace.
>"Well? Was I awesome, or AWESOME?"
"That was pretty awesome Dash, like usual."
>She sports a disappointed look.
>"You're a terrible judge, you know that Anon?"
>She slinks towards you, sitting down at your side.
"It's a good thing I'm so damn cute then, huh?"
>"But next to me, you look like a goat by comparison."
>"But that's true for any ponnnaahh..."
>You chuckle as you run your fingers through her rainbow mane.
>Despite what she would say, she loved it when you pet her mane, so you tried to do it as often as possible.
>As soon as your hand contacts with her rainbow hair, she tenses up, then immediately relaxes.
>You move your nimble fingers through her mane, touching as much fur on the other side as you can.
>You move back up to the top, giving her a quick scratch behind her ear.
>She looks completely relaxed, thoroughly enjoying the attention.
"Man, you're just adorable like this."
>She turns a bit redder at this.
>"S-shut up, my neck is tense, that's all!"
"Of course Dash, that's what it is."
>She gives you a scowl, silencing you.
>You move your hand further down her back, half petting half scratching the area between her wings, along her shoulder blades.
>You were so attentive that you didn't even notice Scootaloo creeping up on you and Dash.
>She crept up to her hero expertly, hiding in the grass and rolling with the wind.
>"HEYRAINBOWDASHWHATSUP!"
>"AHHHHHHH!!!"
>Rainbow Dash must have jumped 3 feet in the air before calming back down.
>"Hey Rainbow Dash, I've been looking for you everywhere! I didn't mean to scare you, but I'm trying to get my cutie mark in tactical espionage!"
>"I wasn't scared, I was just... taking defensive action! Yea, that's all."
>While Dash settles back down, you resume your petting, almost as a habit now.
>Dash let's out a very soft moan when you brush over her tired wings.
>Scootaloo has a very puzzled look on her face.
>"Rainbow Dash, what's Anon doing?"
>If she wasn't red before, she certainly was now.
>"Nothing! He's just... making sure I don't get any cramps, that's all!"
>Deciding to make "extra sure", you run you hand over her wings again, getting under each and every feather.
>"Oh, ok. But why is your leg tapping?"
>The both of you look down to Rainbows hind leg, which was rapidly tapping the ground.
>Dash instantly rockets away from you a good ten feet.
>"A-alright Anon, it think that's good."
>You chuckle and smile at her knowingly.
>Before Scootaloo can continue, she spies another victim in the distance.
>"Maybe I could get my CQC cutie mark! I'll see you later Dash!"
>She instantly disappears in the grass.
>Rainbow hovers back towards you, landing at you side.
>She looks at you expectantly.
>"Well? My other wing still feels a bit sore."
>You resume your petting, leaning back against the tree, Dash at your side.
