- <b>Nature and Scope: </b>This position is primarily responsible for maintaining upkeep of the laboratory including benches, trash removal, mopping of floors and washing of glassware and restocking shelves.

- <b><u>Responsibilities</u></b>
- </p>
- <ul style="margin-top: 0.0in;">
- <li>Handling and washing of glassware and calibration of routinely used instruments in the lab such as pH meters, balances etc.
- <li>Organize, file and maintain filing systems for records retention of active products, raw materials, hard copy summaries, reports and other documents as required.
- <li>Conduct weekly inventory on stock items including reagents, reference standards and gas cylinders. Remove expired items, reorder new stock, document receipt and restock items as required.
- <li>Laboratory Monitoring: conduct daily readings of fume hoods, pressure gauges and water gauges and document in appropriate log books.
- <li>Package and ship out samples for outside testing.

- <li>Perform reconciliation of worksheets following completion.
- <li>Perform simple wet chemistry testing per SOP guidelines.
- <li>Perform data entry as required.
- <li>Ensures all work is performed and documented in accordance with existing Company policies and procedures, as well as cGMP and health and safety requirements

- <b><u>Qualifications and Requirements</u></b>
- </p>
- <ul style="margin-top: 0.0in;">
- <li>H.S. diploma plus 3 years of working experience; at least one year working in a laboratory environment.
- <li>Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculation of averages and percentages.
- <li>Sufficient knowledge of English language to understand Standard Operating Procedures and operating manuals.
- <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- <li>Physically able to wear laboratory protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves. PPE and Respirators are essential for the health and safety of employees. Employees must maintain a clean-shaven appearance each working shift to wear tight-fitting respirators properly.
- <li>Must be able to work independently, recognizing what needs to be done and accomplishing it with minimal supervision.
- <li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written/oral) required.
- <li>PC Skills and basic knowledge of MS-Office required.
