  4. [2014-11-15 21:46:34]<SpiritOfFate> A cart rolls slowly down the road, being pulled by a pair of donkeys followed by a pair of silver anchor griffin. The mudpony talk to each other, and knowing of Sotho's arrangement, they let the group in.

  12. [2014-11-15 22:06:50]* Swiss_Provolone clears his throat and asks Chroma, "Hey Doc, did ya start the kid on detox yet?"
  13. [2014-11-15 22:10:15]<SpiritOfFate> A bespectacled donkey scans the general area while the other one chats with a nearby guards.
  14. [2014-11-15 22:14:27]* Sotho smiles as he trots up to the Bespectacled donkey and extends a hoof. "Hello there, I am Sotho, one of the leaders of this settlement if I were to use a title."
  15. [2014-11-15 22:14:58]<SpiritOfFate> "Oh! Yes, but it's going to be a long process. I gave him a fixer and I'm keeping an eye on him to know how often he will need them until the worst of it clears out." She shrugs. "It's not like there is something that just clears addiction away, but I really wish that there was."

  18. [2014-11-15 22:19:40]<SpiritOfFate> "This is the zebra, right?" One of the donkeys say. "Yes, this is the zebra." The bespectacled one replies. "Yes. Well, hello. We came to see what your settlement needs, and what it can offer." The first one opens a buck-toothed smile. He is taller than the one one wearing glasses.

I am more of a spiritual leader and the main relation with a nearby zebra village. My wife is heading a company devouted to research of many different kinds." He says.

  24. [2014-11-15 22:25:56]<Full_Physical> "Right, it's that doctor lady whose house we were inspecting, Pain Drop. What was it that you suspected that she was doing?"
  25. [2014-11-15 22:27:06]<SpiritOfFate> The bespectacled donkey raises his eyes. "Research? Has it resulted in anything tangible?"
  26. [2014-11-15 22:27:22]* Swiss_Provolone "Selling off her patients who couldn't pay to the Quarry, I found the kid here when I stopped her." he replies
  27. [2014-11-15 22:29:12]<Sotho> "It's produced a few things so far but I believe she would be better suited to explain it. I am not scientifically minded like her." He says. "May I show you to her labs?"
  28. [2014-11-15 22:29:39]<SpiritOfFate> The colt looks at Swiss. "...I don't remember what happened... but ponies sometimes disappear where I live. Eh- lived?" He looks lost. "Where will I live now?"
  29. [2014-11-15 22:29:46]<Full_Physical> "Right, got it. I was going to turn the list I found in to Tamara, see if any of Freedom Mounds people are on it. Anything you want me to tell her about this?"
  30. [2014-11-15 22:31:02]* Royal_Lace sits at her desk and gos over paperwork, looking through notes she had made while she took her week long break. Having the staff member would have hurt her financially before but now with Swiss deciding to take leave it seemed it wouldbt be such a blow. Sighing she considers ideas for possibly automating security till the labs can build any real capital.
  31. [2014-11-15 22:31:56]* Royal_Lace Setting aside her notes she pulls out a report she had asked for earlier detailing how close to compleation the Air Ship was.
  32. [2014-11-15 22:32:24]* Swiss_Provolone "I think the list will just about cover it, but now we might need to do somethin' 'bout that Quarry Boss. We'll figure it out." he says to Full_Physical
  33. [2014-11-15 22:33:12]* Swiss_Provolone he turns back to the colt, "Well thats what I wanted to ask, do ya know where your parents are?" he asks, trotting towards him

[2014-11-15 22:40:45]* Royal_Lace smiles, "For a small team of three, one of which spent the last week on her back in bed when not pillow fighting, we have done well.... a little longer and we can put this to some good use, maybe even get some revinue by opening a ship yard...", she muses to her self out loud as she twirls a pencile in midair.

  36. [2014-11-15 22:42:37]* Swiss_Provolone levitates out the papers from the doctors office, "Do these look familiar to you?" he asks him

  38. [2014-11-15 22:44:35]* Sotho leads them to the labs and asks for a meeting with his wife relating to the buisness operation he was attempting to set up and for her to be ready with all that her lab is working on and has done
  39. [2014-11-15 22:44:52]<SpiritOfFate> The donkeys follow Sotho as they agreed.
  40. [2014-11-15 22:48:13]* Royal_Lace is sitting in her office, floating paperwork aorund, posted around the walls are verious early deisgne concepts, blue prints, and other such things including a framed thank you note from her time teaching last year.
  41. [2014-11-15 22:51:57]<SpiritOfFate> The colt whimpers and nods. "That's... my dad."
  42. [2014-11-15 22:53:06]* Swiss_Provolone nods, "I figured as much, is the address up to date? Or is that where he used to live?"
  43. [2014-11-15 22:55:02]<SpiritOfFate> Royal Lace sees as Sotho enters the lab and heads towards her room followed by two donkeys. She also notices the sand dog Kabosu preoccupied lenses in vials, but she doesn't really know why.

[2014-11-15 22:57:47]* Royal_Lace notes to ask the sand dog what she is up to later but dosent find it to be to odd, as she had told her before as long as your assigned work projects are moving along and your not slowing anyone ells down or using to many resorces her scientists were allowed to have there own side projects.
  46. [2014-11-15 22:58:35]* Royal_Lace turning to the room itself she closes her eyes and lets her horns glow grow, papers sorting and filing theselves in mid air while she casts multiple uses of her clean spell to tidy the room spick and spam for her unexpected guests
  47. [2014-11-15 22:58:47]* Royal_Lace sets her main in order as a last measure and opens the door for them
  48. [2014-11-15 23:00:56]* Swiss_Provolone "And he hasn't been at that address in a while I take it?" he asks
  49. [2014-11-15 23:01:15]* Sotho trots on in happily and smiles. "Hello dear. I have brought these donkeys from my trade deal I told you about. They would like to know what efforts your labs has done and is going towards."
  50. [2014-11-15 23:02:42]<SpiritOfFate> "Not for the last..." The colt tries to think. "...bunch of months. Was it a year? I don't know..."

[2014-11-15 23:04:28]* Royal_Lace smiles and stands, troting around the desk, "Oh, how nice! we havent been operating long but its nice to see that word is getting around", passing by sotho she gives him a nuzzles. Turning to her guests she offers a hoof, "Oh but where are my manners, you know my name but here I am about to talk buisness before getting to know my guest! whom do I have the honor of showing our labs?"
  52. [2014-11-15 23:05:19]* Swiss_Provolone pats his head, "If hes where I think he is, don't worry, we'll be hande that situation as soon as we can. As for where you live for now, I asked the boss and she's given me the all clear to letting ya stay here, if you want to."
  53. [2014-11-15 23:07:18]* Full_Physical will go to wherever Tamara is, and knock if it looks private
  54. [2014-11-15 23:09:33]<SpiritOfFate> "I am Babbles." The taller donkey says, then points to the bespectacled donkey. "He is Goggles"
  55. [2014-11-15 23:10:19]<SpiritOfFate> "Yes, my name is Goggles" The other donkey says. "And along with Babbles I am affiliated to the Limestack Caravan Association."
  56. [2014-11-15 23:11:36]<SpiritOfFate> "We wanted to know what your lab offers that is worth caps." Babbles says
  57. [2014-11-15 23:11:49]* Royal_Lace smiles and turns back to her desk, steping around it and pulling up chairs, "Well its a pleasure to make your aquaintance, truly. And what a treat to have guests all the way from Limestack! I hope the trip was safe one, I know how dangerous it can be just getting around. In any case may I be the first to welcome you to Nebulous Labs!"

  60. [2014-11-15 23:15:12]* Swiss_Provolone shakes his head, "At the Freedom Mound, I've got a place here. Its safer than Limestack, and the doc here should be able to get ya off of whatever you're on." he replies
  61. [2014-11-15 23:15:41]<Full_Physical> "Say Tamara? About how often to people go missing from this town?"
  62. [2014-11-15 23:18:46]<SpiritOfFate> Babbles smiles and pays attention to her.

[2014-11-15 23:21:30]* Royal_Lace grins, "Ah well sotho is a friendly one", turning to her busband she nods, "Speaking of could you do me a favor and ask for Fireflys mother to pop around for a moment. Im about to show some of the percursor tech to our guests and Im sure they would like to see the final product of that branch of research".
  67. [2014-11-15 23:22:21]<SpiritOfFate> "Not very often, there were a couple cases last few months, but they were a result of ponies leaving the secure perimeter." Tamara says to Full_Physical. "Any reason for asking? Is anyone missing?"

[2014-11-15 23:25:37]<Full_Physical> "I have acquired a list of names and addresses from a doctor in Limestack, who may have been selling her patients to the Quarry when they couldn't pay their bills. Is there anyone who could look through these, see if any of the names are people from Freedom Mound."
  70. [2014-11-15 23:25:51]* Sotho nods lightly to Royal_Lace as he moves to go and find Firefly's mother
  71. [2014-11-15 23:26:51]<SpiritOfFate> Sotho realizes the griffin stayed outside. Possibly guarding the cart. Once he gets outside he realizes they are not guarding the cart
  72. [2014-11-15 23:27:06]<SpiritOfFate> "...when I'm not hooked anymore, can I take buck again?" The colt asks

  74. [2014-11-15 23:28:55]* Swiss_Provolone shakes his head, "Unless its a matter of life and death, I wouldn't recommend it. While you're here you'll stay clean. If ya decide to leave, well there ain't much I can do to stop you. Its your life." he replies

"Now, most of our focus here has been a bit narrow in focus but in each step along the way we have made inadvertant discoveries or advancments of our own which broove to be furtle ground for branching out. I stand firm by my statment that Nebulous is on the cusp of being at the forfront of advancments in Travel, infustructer, agriculture, and cy

  82. [2014-11-15 23:42:50]<SpiritOfFate> It is a copper coated, blue maned earth pony mare called Blue Ribbon. Tamara adds "She used to go by Scrap Digger, but many slaveborn ponies have choosen their own names in freedom."

"Well our first real project we have tackled in house was creating a means to return flight to a mare who unfortunatly lost a wing due to horirbly mistreatment. This took us through various stages as we improved each model and tested newr ideas and proved theories".

I also have the smaler scale prototypes around if your interested". Looking to goggles she shakes her head, "Well no, we will offer our services any being in need. I only mean that the project that began our progress here was our effort to help the mare".

  104. [2014-11-16 00:03:34]* Royal_Lace takes the pair on a sweeping tour of the labs, pointint out a few interesting thigns here and there, introducing them to the staff who are not to busy all before arriving at the half covered sky ship that is still in 'dry dock' so to speak.
