1. Notes:
2. I originally had to edit some sections due to length constraints; unsure if this version is before or after.
3. I may come back and edit the formatting later, for now you get faux-greentext.
4. I'm not going to bother removing non-story parts of the posts either.
5. Sections/chapters separated by double-equals-signs, like the one just below.

9. So, first time writing any sort of fanfic whatsoever.
10. No ships, let alone lewds: just something cute and funny I thought up.
11.
12. > -Scene: Marco & Star in the kitchen eating breakfast before school.
13. > -Marco is reading the school paper.
14. >Marco: "Ugh, football tryouts are starting again."
15. >Star: "Yeah, so what's wrong with Earth sports?"
16. >Marco: "Other than extradimensional princesses booby-trapping the field?"
17. >Star: *laughs nervously while chewing her spoon*
18. >Marco: "It's just that every year, all the boys in school are subjected to a series of intense and grueling physical trials designed to belittle and demean us, whittling us down until only the most fit remain to join the team.
19. > -Star listens with increasing awe, eyes shining and mouth agape.
20. >Star: "That sounds FUN!"
21. >Marco: "FUN?!? It's horrible! I'm going to be humiliated, just like every year in junior high."
22. > -Marco lets his face collapse into his breakfast.
23. >Star: "If you hate tryouts so much, why don't you just skip them?"
24. > -Marco looks up, and bits of food fall from his face.
25. >Marco: "I can't skip them! Everyone would think I'm a wuss."
26. >Star: "Huh?"
27. >Marco: "You've got it easy being a girl: no one expects you to be good at sports, or fighting, or to be serious all the time and not show emotion. You can just do what you want without anyone pushing you to be the very best at it."
28. >Marco: (mumbling) "What I wouldn't give to be in your shoes for a day..."
29. >Star: "Well, that's easy!"
30. > *BLIP*
31. > -Marco is now wearing a pair of Star's boots.
32. >Marco: "No no, what I meant was I'd like to not have all the worldly pressures of being a guy for a change."
33. >Star: "Ooohh... Okay." *inhales*
34. >Marco: "Wait. STAAARR~~"
35. >Star: "MARCO'S MAGIC GIRL DAY!"
36.

38.
39. >>coninued
40.
41. > *BLIP*
42. > -Marco is now a girl.
43. >Marco: "STAR! I didn't ACTUALLY want to be a girl!!! Change me back!"
44. >Star: "Oh, all right... UNDO SPELL!"
45. > *BLIP*
46. > -Cloud of stardust disperses to reveal... Marco is still a girl.
47. > -The pair share a worried look.
48. >Star: (more anxiously) "UNDO SPELL!!"
49. > *BLIP*
50. > -Another cloud of stardust and... Absolutely nothing has changed.
51. >Star: (panicking) "UNDO SPELL! UNDO SPELL! UNDO SPELL!!!"
52. > *BLIP* *BLIP* *BLIP*
53. > -Rapid-fire blasts of stardust hit Marco, getting in her eyes and messing up her hair.
54. > -Marco interrupts Star's panic by grabbing the bulb of the wand, which Star was shaking frantically.
55. >Marco: (relatively calmly) "Star, this isn't helping."
56. >Star: "Aaah! What do I do? WhatdoIdoWhatdoIdoWhatdoIdo?"
57. >Marco: "Ask for help?"
58.
59. >Glossaryck: "BWAHAHAHAHA, HAHAHA, AHAHAHAH"
60. >Glossaryck: *continues laughing for a good 5 seconds, then pauses*
61. >Marco: (frowning scornfully) "Are you done yet?"
62. >Glossaryck: *holds out one finger, then..."
63. >Glossaryck: "HAHAHA HAHAhaha okay, I'm done."
64. >Star: (frowning worriedly) "So is there any way to turn Marco back to normal?"
65. >Glossaryck: "Look, kid: 'for a day' spells are designed to last exactly that - one day. It should wear off at around sunset."
66. >Marco: "*Should*?"
67. >Glossaryck: "My advice is to make the most of it while you can, since you won't be fixing it until then."
68. >Marco: (grumbling) "Where have I heard *that* one before?..."
69. >Star: "Cheer up, Marco. At least this way, you won't have to show up for football tryouts."
70. >Marco: "I guess..."
71. >Star: *grabs Marco by the shoulders* "Come on, I'll show you being a girl isn't that bad!"
72. >Star: "What's the worst that could happen?"
73.
74. > -Meanwhile...
75. > -In a dark office, a large swivel chair behind a desk has been turned around, obscuring the occupant from the viewer.
76. >???: "Mistress, the seeking spell has finally located the girl you were looking for."
77. > -The chair swings around...
78. >
Miss Heinous
: (grinning maliciously) "Excellent."
79.
80. ==
81.
82. > -Just to recap, Marco is a girl and will remain so until sunset.
83. > -(S)he and Star are in Star's bedroom, having consulted with a typically unhelpful Glossaryk.
84.
85. >Marco: "Aww man, I just realized. Everyone at school will see that I'm a girl! This is way more humiliating than football tryouts..."
86. >Star: "Hmm... What you need is a disguise..."
87. >Star: *gasps* "MAKEOVER!!!"
88. > -Star drags Marco over to her mirror and converts it to dressing room mode.
89. > -She then begins digging through her dressers for clothes and starts tossing some over the mirror-room's side.
90. >Marco: "Star, is this really-"
91. >Star: "Oh come on, you don't want anyone to recognize you. Besides, while you're a girl you might as well be doing some girl stuff."
92. >Marco: (unenthusiastically) "I guess..."
93. >Star: "Now try this dress on...
94.
95. > -Scene changes to scenery shot of the Diaz's house while Star and Marco are heard in the background...
96. >"Can't I just wear pants?"
97. >"But it would look so CUTE on you!
98. >"Nothing shorter than my knees."
99. >"And this one matches your eyes."
100. >"I am NOT wearing girly underwear."
101. >"Maybe we can do something with your hair..."
102. >"I guess this isn't so bad."
103.
104. >Star: "Well, what do you think?"
105. > -Marco is wearing a rather conservative dress with a long skirt and short sleeves, plus a headband with a bow.
106. >Star: "Wait, final touch." *puts glasses on Marco's face*
107. >Marco: "I'm still not convinced that this'll fool anyone at school."
108. >Glossaryk: (interjecting) "Woah. Now who is this lovely young lady you've brought me now, Star."
109. >Marco: "Okay, but we still need to get there. We missed the bus (not that I'd be taking it anyway)."
110. >Star: "Just leave that to me."
111. > -Star brings Marco to the balcony, grabs her hand, and points the wand backwards...
112. >Star: "SUPER RAINBOW TRANSPORT SLIDE!"
113. > -When they're gone, Glossaryk breaks out into laughter and pulls out an old-timey collapsible camera.
114. > -Zooming in, the back of the camera displays a series of images of Marco in various dresses.
115. >Glossaryk: (laughing himself to tears) "THESE are going in the album..."
116.
117. ==
118.
119. > -Star and girly Marco arrive to class just after the bell.
120. >Ms. Skullnick: "You're late."
121. >Star: "Sorry!"
122. >Marco: (quietly) "Sorry."
123. >Ms. Skullnick: "Wait. Who are you?"
124. >Marco: "Uhhh..."
125. > -Star gets up on her toes to whisper in her teacher's ear...
126. >Ms. Skullnick: "Huh?"
127. >Ms. Skullnick: (eyes fly open wide) "Wait what?"
128. >Ms. Skullnick: *sniggering* "Seriously?"
129. > -Star finishes whispering and nods somberly.
130. >Ms. Skullnick: (quietly) "Okay. But just today."
131. >Ms. Skullnick: (returning to her usual serious demeanor) "Listen up, class!"
132. >Ms. Skullnick: "Star brought over a friend who will be staying with us today."
133. >Ms. Skullnick: "You can call her... *snigger* 'Mary'."
134.
135. > -The class erupts in a barrage of questions.
136. >"Hi new girl!"
137. >"What dimension are you from?"
138. >"Are you magic like Star?"
139. >"Can I have your autograph?"
140. >"Where's Marco?"
141. > -Marco is currently in the most embarrassing position of his life.
142.
143. >Ms. Skullnick: "Settle down! Now, 'Mary', just take Marco's seat; he's 'sick' today."
144. > -Ms. Skullnick can barely control her smirk as Marco shamefully heads towards 'his' seat.
145.
146. > -When 'Mary' sits down, Star gives him an awkward, apologetic smile.
147. > -Then Ferguson leans over...
148. >Ferguson: "Hey there, hot stuff."
149. >Marco: *gulp*
150.

152.
153. > -Scene: in the principal's office at Echo Creek Academy.
154. > -Principal Skeeves is gazing longingly into the chest Star's parents gave him, which is almost empty.
155.
156. > -Suddenly, three guards from St. Olga's burst into the office.
157. > -The principal quickly pushes the chest aside and attempts to strike a more serious posture.
158. >Principal: "Who are you? And what are you doing at a high school in THAT getup?"
159. >Guard: "We're on the hunt for a rogue princess."
160. >Principal: "A princess-" *gazes down at the empty chest*
161. >Principal: "There wouldn't happen to be a REWARD for this princess, would there?"
162. >*heavy breathing*
163. >Principal: "No?"
164. >*heavy breathing*
165. >Principal: "Then I'm afraid I can't help you."
166. >*heavy breathing*
167. >Principal: *nervously* "If there WERE any princesses here, I'm afraid my integrity as a principal would..."
168. >*heavy breathing*
169. >Principal: *coughs to regain composure* "Now, I must warn you if you do not leave school premises immediately, I will be forced to call the poli-EEE"
170. > -Two of the guards are now at the principal's sides, pushing him down by the shoulders.
171. > -The third slams one hand down on the desk, and with the other holds up an image.
172. >Guard: "Now listen here! This is what she looks like."
173. > -The image is a crude sketch of Marco in the dress he wore at St. Olga's.
174. >Principal: "I've never seen a princess like that in my life! Please!"
175. >Guard: "Are you SURE?"
176. >Principal: "YES! Yes I am! Search the school if you have to, but I'm telling you, SHE ISN'T HERE."
177. >Guard: "Then you won't mind us doing exactly that."
178. > -The lead guard motions towards the door, and the other two release their grips on the principal, who promptly curls up into a ball.
179. >Guard: (leaving) "I'm glad we had this chat."
180. >Guard: "Make sure we don't need to have another."
181. >Principal: *whimpers*

184.
185. > -Scene: Star and Marco are getting lunch.
186.
187. > -Having picked up their meals, they move down the aisle of the cafeteria...
188. >Star: "Sooo... How has the day been so far?"
189. >Marco: "Not as bad as I thought. So far nobody's recognized me, and everyone's being nice-"
190. >Marco: "Although I *will* have to talk to Ferguson about his pickup lines later." *shudders*
191. >Jackie: "Hey, Mary! New girl!"
192. > -Marco freezes, right in front of the table where Jackie and several of her friends happen to be sitting.
193. >Marco: "M-me?"
194. >Jackie: "Yeah, you. Why don't you and Star come sit with us at the girl's table?"
195. >Marco: "R-really?"
196. >Jackie: "Yeah! Any friend of Star's has to be a pretty cool gal."
197. > -Marco glances at Star, who just grins at her.
198. >Star: "After you!"
199. > -Marco then nervously sits down on the end of the bench, until Star pushes her over next to Jackie.
200. >Jackie: "I'm Jackie, by the way."
201. >Marco: (softly) "H-hey, Jackie..."
202.
203. > -Marco hurriedly scarfs down her food to avoid talking, while the other girls converse about girl stuff.
204. >Hope: "You know, it's too bad Star doesn't sit here with us more often."
205. >Jenna: "Yeah, normally she's off sitting with Marco."
206. >Star: "Well, since Marco isn't here today, but I brought a friend..."
207. >Marco: "M-Marco?"
208. >Jenna: "Surely Star must have told you about him."
209. >Jackie: "Too bad he isn't here. You should meet him, he's a pretty cool dude."
210. >Marco: "A cool dude..."
211.
212. > -A strongly blushing Marco suddenly stands up.
213. >Marco: "I- Uh- I have to go to the bathroom!"
214. > -She quickly runs away, and Star gets up behind her.
215. >Star: "I better... Make sure she finds her way."
216.
217. > -Star catches up to Marco in front of a pair of doors leading to the bathrooms.
218. >Star: "What's the matter? Jackie thinks you're cool, isn't that a good thing?"
219. >Marco: "It was great to hear he say I was cool, and awesome that I got to sit by her without her knowing who I was, but..."
220. >Marco: "I kinda really DO need to go to the bathroom."
221. >Star: "Oh."
222. >*beat*
223. >Star: "Well, there's no avoiding it. Why don't I go in with you."
224. >Marco: (meekly) "All right.."
225. > -Star ushers Marco through the threshold...
226.
227. >Marco: "Wow, this is really underwhelming."
228. >Star: "What do you mean?"
229. >Marco: "Well, it smells nicer, but other than that it isn't all that different from the boys' bathroom."
230. >Star: "So? What did you expect?"
231. >Marco: "I don't know... I guess I just had this mental image of the girls' bathroom as some magical clubhouse sort of place."
232. >Star: "Oh, no; I only did that to the *library* bathroom!"
233.
234. ==
235.
236. The end, for now. May or may not eventually finish.
