  5. Hi Arya!
  6. I hope you're getting excited to start your first year! My name is Genevieve and I'm a rising junior at Brandeis. I am double majoring in Int'l and Global Studies and Economics, currently hold three jobs on campus, besides being the VP for International Club (you probably heard of Pachanga... if not, ask me!). Besides all that, I am member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. At first I thought sororities were absolutely NOT for me, but it turned out to become one of my favorite parts of Brandeis and I wanted to tell you a little bit about it in case you're interested. I am an international student from Brazil, and in DphiE, I've found the most reliable, empowering, loving and caring community of young women. Between community service, trips to sushi places and FroYo, sisterhood events (where all the girls get together for all kinds of things.. including karaoke and 90s throwback nights!) and mixers on and off campus, DphiE always has something going on. I love that so much, because sometimes there is so much school work and things to be concerned with, but then you get a call from a sister asking if you wanna go an adventure and your whole day is suddenly a lot brighter This past semester, some of the things we did include Yoga classes, Sisterhood Olympics, Relay For Life, Stress buster night before finals, a 5k race and lots of other things.
  7. Our recruitment is starting up right when we get to school. This is a great opportunity to find out what we're all about. It is all free (and there is sooo much free food!! yay) and we provide rides (with sober drivers!) to and from every event we hold. Rush is always the most fun part of the year with froyo night, BBQ, bonfires, brunch with the sisters and parties with all of the fraternities on campus. To me, it is the most magical time of the year! The events are completely commitment free so even if you just want to come by to check it out we really encourage that. If you believe that Greek Life is not for you, I also encourage you to give it a shot, as nobody likes living with ''what ifs''
  8. I hope you consider coming to our events and parties and getting to know us. We will be posting a group with updates and information that we will add you to as soon as it goes up (unless you'd prefer not to, in that case, let me know!). We will also be handing out fliers the first week back.
  9. If you have any other questions regarding anything at all (even non sorority related!) please do not hesitate to ask! I love talking to new people about both Brandeis and DphiE! I look forward to hearing from you soon
