- Thanks for downloading my (Calvinwars') Custom Project M 3.02! The build has a lot
- more than Vanilla 3.02, with added costumes, added and replaced stages, and lots of
- new songs. All of the changes are tasteful; There are no out of place additions,
- with all of the added costumes still being the original character, stages still being
- from Nintendo franchises, and music being straight from games or remixes. Every stage,
- costume, and music title has accompanying images and text, so everything goes to where
- it should. All stages, costumes, and music added is of a high quality.
- The build was made with the competitive player in mind, but I still added many casual
- stages. It should be fun for anyone and everyone. All casual, expansion stages cannot
- be selected on the Random Select Screen, so don't be worried about those. The only
- Team Color that has been changed is Ice Mario, but it's not a major change. None of the
- stages on the first page besides Halberd have been changed.
- There are some alternate custom content hidden in the folders. It's mainly stuff I had
- in the build before cutting it for something else. For example, there's a FitMario.pac
- (The file that determines how Mario plays as a character) with Ice and Fire effects for
- Ice and Fire Mario, but it had weird glitches with Sunshine Mario and Doctor Mario. Just
- rename the original file and rename the custom file to what the original file was. To go
- back to something that was originally Brawl, just completely delete the file. So, to give
- an example, to change Mario to have Ice and Fire effects, rename "FitMario" to "FitMario
- Vanilla 3.02" and rename "FitMario Fire and Ice..." to "FitMario". To remove Melee sound
- effects from the Menu and return to Brawl/Vanilla 3.02 sound effects, delete "7.sawnd".

- Outside of a few BRSTMs, CSPs, and Stage Pictures, I DID NOT CREATE NOR CLAIM TO
- HAVE CREATED ANY OF THE CONTENT IN THIS BUILD. I originally made this as a personal
- build so I haven't really kept track of who made what. If anyone wanted to find out
- who created something, I could probably find who made it or how I got it. Big shoutouts
- to Theytah and NFreak; Theytah's great build was the inspiration to make mine and I used
- NFreak's build as a base for adding cbliss and the expansion stages.
- This build uses the hackless method or homebrew! I'm willing to help anyone make
- different versions of my build if asked.
- CHARACTER CHANGES
- WARIO

- Replaced Mario's Brown/White color with a Super Mario Sunshine styled Mario, with
- a Shine Sprite Jacket and Sunglasses.
- Replaced Mario's Blue Color with Ice Mario
- There is a .pac that gives Fire Mario Fire effects and Ice Mario Ice effects in the
- projectm\pf\fighter\mario folder. It has a bug where Doctor Mario's cape remains
- attached to his had when used in the air and makes Sunshine Mario's Fireball have strange,
- hugely expanding fireball effects on his hand. The cape remains attached Doc is hit or the
- attack is used on the ground. See the pictures of it in the Imgur album listed above.

- change the color of the light, but I couldn't figure out how to change the color
- of the glow from the light. Red looks okay though, and it matches the green and
- red colors of many Smash characters, like Fox and Olimar's Vanilla green.
- Added "Buzz Lightimar", which has the same issue as above. It glows Blue
- instead of Red.
- Added Louie, which is the only costume to not be the original character.
- Olimar doesn't speak in PM, and the moveset could easily belong to Louie,
- so I thought it was fine. And Louie is my boy.
- ROB

- SNAKE

- Added 2.0/2.1/2.5 Green Sonic, but it has a weird glitch where there are
- random flashes of red when he dashes or uses his "You're too slow taunt!"
- I think the problem is with cbliss rather than the files, as they were taken
- directly from Project M Demo 2.5.
- Added 2.0/2.1/2.5 Red Sonic, has same glitch as described above.
- STAGES
- If I don't mention a stage, then it has no changes. The first page of competitive fame
- is left along outside of Halberd.
- Halberd is now hazardless
- Added Bowser's Castle over Peach's Castle (which was moved to something else) to the First Page
- Added "Subspace Emissary", a cool transforming layout stage over Pictochat to the First Page
- Added a balanced version of Frigate Orpheon over Brinstar (which was moved to something else) to the First Page

- Moved Corneria and added Sector Z over Metal Cavern (which was moved to something else). Metal Cavern was
- over Mushroomy Kingdom, so Metal Cavern was really just the two of the same, identical stages over each
- Mushroomy Kingdom transformation. However, I made it so that it has a chance of playing Corneria
- or Sector Z.
- Moved Fourside to an Expansion Stage
- Added Brawl's Bridge of Eldin as an Expansion Stage
- MUSIC
- When I say "added" here, I mean replaced. There's just too much music to
- keep track of what tracks replaced what. I'll just list the music a stage
- has if I essentially redid the music for the stage though.

- The Menu has Melee Sound effects. The .sawnd file for it is in the projectm\pf\sfx folder and
- is titled 7.sawnd. There is another sawnd file in there with Melee sound effects on the menu
- except for the little "tick" sound when moving the Character icon, switching costumes, rules
- page, etc. I like it with the Melee Sound effects everywhere, but some prefer it with the
- Brawl/Vanilla 3.02 "tick" sound.
- There is a different version of the RSBE01.gct in the codes folder with STGCUSTOM01
- (in this build as Brawl Final Destination) enabled in the Random Select. It links with Brawl
- Battlefield (If Brawl Battlefield is off, then the Expansion Stage wouldn't be able to be randomly
- picked. If it's on, then it can be picked). Use it if you want one of the expansion stages to
- be on the Random stage select.
- BUGS AND THINGS I WISH I COULD FIX
- I'd love if Doctor Luigi could fire pills, but it might not look good just to have
- pills flying sideways across.
- I had to switch the order of Peach's Fire and Shadow Queen costumes to get their
- effects to line up with cbliss. There are out of order on the CSS compared to Vanilla 3.02
- Shiny Pikachu can have shiny effects, but I don't know how to edit the .pac to give them
- to the costume slot Shiny Pikachu is in.
- Headband Jigglypuff's headband doesn't have physics.
- I don't like having such an excess of Brawl's samey Squirtle colors. I enjoy the colors, but
- they are confusing if every player is using them. Also, I'm not the biggest fan of SJS' CSPs
- for Squirtle, but I couldn't find vBrawl CSPs for only Squirtle without the Pokemon Trainer.
- I want some more palette swaps for the costumes without them, i.e. Pajama Ness,
- Masked Man Lucas, Concept Art Meta Knight, etc.
- Fabulous Roy's CSP doesn't look great. Also, Norfair M's preview icon looks off.
- Olimar's Minty and Buzz Lightimar Colors have the wrong light colors because I can't figure
- oout how to change the glow.
- Sonic's 2.5 Green and Red Colors have weird graphical glitches on them, but I think that they're
- caused by cbliss instead of the actual costumes.
- I removed the "original game" icon (Super Mario Sunshine for Delphino, Earthbound for
- Fourside, etc.) because I needed extra space in the common5 and because they didn't match
- for many of the stages. For example, "F-Zero" is used for Port Town and Big Blue, but when I
- replace Big Blue with Venus Lighthouse (a Golden Sun stage), I can either make Venus Lighthouse
- say "F-Zero" or Port Town say "Golden Sun". Also, you don't really miss much by not having them.
- I'm considering doing the same thing for the universe icons (the Mushroom for Mario, Pokeball
- for Pokemon, etc.) for the same reasons, but I haven't done it yet. Also, the common5.pac that came
- with the Expansion stages has all of the icons set to generic "ProjectM" or "Super Smash Bros.", which
- looks stupid.
- The Expansion Stages don't show up on Random. It's either none do or all do, so I chose none.
- I should probably make custom images for booting my build so people remember my tag.
- FUTURE GOALS WITH POSSIBLE FUTURE BUILDS
- I really want a way to be able to add instead of replace music. For example, I'd love to have
- Menu (Brawl), Menu 2, Menu (Melee), Juicy Fruit, Stand Up, Smash 64's Character Select, Homebound
- from the 3.0 trailer, and that one menu song that's always playing on the Smash @ Xanadu stream build
- on the menu. And that's just the menu!
- I'm willing to rearrange the stage slots on the second page, but I'm unsure of what the best order would be.
- I would love input on that. Maybe order them by which game they came from (Smash 64 stages, then Melee,
- then Brawl,then PM, then New stages) or based on potential competitive viability (Luigi's Mansion, Kongo
- Jungle 64 on bottom row, Fourside on top).
- I want to finish the whole cast with cbliss costumes, but I didn't look that extensively
- for recolors and I didn't like many of the ones I saw. I need to check out the Minty, Mars,
- Maritime thread to get some more colors.
- I want to figure out how to edit the .pac for Alternate Costume effects.
- I'm waiting to add a Balanced Ganondorf with Sword. I haven't extensively watched the
- thread about it on Smashboards, but I'll look into it again a little later down the line.
- I don't really like the Mega Evolution skins. Mewtwo and Lucario look stupid, and
- Charizard X is over designed. I would love to replace them with a Caped Mewtwo from
- the anime, a different color Lucario, and something for Charizard, maybe just colors.
- I think I went a little overboard with Squirtle and Brawl colors.
- I'd love more Kirby colors. Grape looks so cool. I need to make sure that they all
- have proper copy abilities though. Are there any other just straight up colors for Kirby
- that aren't already on there? Like is there a Mango Kirby or Black Kirby?
- I want to learn more about SFX modding. I want the OOT/TP Link voice change
- from Smashboards but keeping the Brawl sound effects. I like the Melee sound effects, but
- then I'd play off when they weren't the same at Tournaments.
- I want to add Mute City over Port Town when Mewtwo2000 finishes it.
- I have a lot of songs I'd like to add, but I'm not sure where to place them. I have a lot of songs
- from The Smash Brothers Documentary that I'd like to add.
