    Character name is Makina Auron, profession: Ranger.  She is 23 years old and about 5'5”, has dark grey midlength hair that always seems to be a mess and quite long in the front and brown eyes.
    When off-duty, she tends to wear a white hoodie with black sleeves and markings, along with khaki jeans and black sneakers.
    While generally sarcastic and laid back, she tries to be a little more serious when the situation calls for it.  Her Pokemon are a Male Super Luck Absol and a Female Levitate Banette, the latter a loan from a friend.

    Lysander Dawson is a male of nineteen years, with a mop of unruly blonde hair and a pair of milky brown eyes. He's a little skinnier than may be good for him, and not physically strong. He stands rather tall at about six feet and three inches, a black, high-collared waistcoat hanging from his shoulders oftentimes. Under, he adopts a deep blue, lightweight cardigan, with a white shirt -- the top button undone, of course. A pair of denim jeans, ripped at the knees, are tied to his waist with a belt. High-topped black boots sit comfortably on his feet.
    Lysander's a little on the quiet side, and he generally goes along with the plans of others, although he will step in if it seems outright dangerous. He's a clever one, with wits as sharp as the edge of a blade and plans of his own that usually exceed those of others, but he keeps them to himself for the most part. Calm and calculative, he makes a good trainer -- or so his Pokémon try to tell him. His two Pokémon are his Floatzel, who he has named Assan, and a Sigilyph nicknamed Arcane.

    You are all on a guide trip through Kanto's powerplant
    The group is fairly small

    You walk into the main control room, where the whole plant is run from
    The old man looks over to James and asks, "So what brings you here?"

    The couple walk towards Lysander and Makina and ask, "Me and my husband were wondering, are you guys a thing?"

    "You mean him?" Makina says, pointing over at Lysander.  "I don't even know the guy."

    I look at the man and try and mask my real motives.

    "Just looking at the sites. That's all."

    "Uh..." Lysander turns a crimson colour, blood rushing to his face. The woman standing near him was definitely much older than him, and she didn't look his type. She was also tiny, which didn't help matters. "I don't think I know her, either..."

    "Ahh, so are you fond of power plants?" the old man asked

    "Oulala," Lysander breathed. This was as unexpected as those bumbling fools asking them about his relationship status. They were quiet when the lights went out. I wonder what happened...

    Lysander jumps a little with the suddenness of the noise, stifling an alarmed sound in his throat. He hiccups slightly in the attempt, and he was glad that no-one could see him in the dark, for his face was positively alizarin at this point. He hears a flurry of movement as someone ducks, but he stands on the spot, thinking that the gun was not aiming towards their group.

    Lysander judges the situation for a moment, shocked that anyone had died. He wasn't particularly good around blood, but as he paled, he decides it would be best to comply. He crouches down, raising his hands into the air to show he wouldn't give any trouble. Quailing slightly, he wonders what is to become of them.

    I slide the two Pokeballs on me deep into my pockets as I withdraw some money and hope he won't realise.

    I don't care about his gun. He is not taking my Pokémon without a fight -- I won't allow it. Lysander, who had clipped the Poké Balls to his belt, looks towards the thief in wonder as he has his back to the three. He edges slowly towards the exposed back of the thief, until he got in range of the thief's legs -- with his own. Quieting himself, he looks towards the other male trainer. He wonders if it would really be prudent to try and trip the thief to make a distraction.

    I saw the the man from earlier, who was snuggling up to the non-pregnant woman. He looked from me to the thief and made some subtle gestures. I held my breath, unsure how to act.

    As another gunshot resounded, Lysander glares to the back of the thief, who was wiping the saliva from his face. Anger flared in the back of his mind, but he coolly held a hand to the floor, sweeping a leg in an arc to try and catch those of the thief, in order to trip him up.

    "How would the plant know it's about to explode?" Lysander muses out loud, standing up fully. He bends over, scooping up the gun from the man's hand, prising it from his grasp. Maybe this might be of some use later. He deposits it beside his Poké Balls, hanging it from his belt.

    Watching as the doors shut further, Lysander begins to wonder how they would escape if their exits were continually getting blocked off. The other people, however, seemed to be sorting themselves out -- no need to worry about them. It was time, now, however, to find a way to escape themselves. On tapping both of his Poké Balls, they spring open, Assan the Floatzel and Arcane the Sigilyph materialising. "Well, I think we should get moving. Send out your Pokémon -- let's work together to make this a little easier."

    Lysander muttered under his breath, his ruse having been caught out. He decided that there was no time to lie about it. "I'm someone who your friend Rob couldn't overpower. He's at my mercy now." Meanwhile, he raised his eyebrows in Makina's direction, as if to say 'get a move on!'

    "Oh my god, I can feel the baby" the wife cried out loud

    Makina rolled her eyes and mouthed , "Where?" gesturing to the sealed doors.  Still, she looked around for another exit

    "Surely there's some way to open them?"

    "There may be something to control them on the other side," Makina remarked, then turned to her Banette.  "Wist, can you phase through the door and see if there is anything on the other side?"

    it seemed the plants foundation's were collapsing, almost like someone had blown them up to get in

    According to the Banette's report, the building was collapsing. I cursed and looked at the dying, and the non-dying all looking to get out. What the hell were we going to do?

    "The thief's friend seemed to think we could break through the roof. Maybe we should try tha--" Lysander suggested, but was cut off by the old man's suggestion. He shrugged. That could work.

    "We could try the roof next, though getting everyone out through the ceiling will take forever," Makina said, then commanded her Absol to power up with Swords Dance

    "All right, then, Assan. Arcane. I want you to use Brick Break, Assan -- and an Air Slash from you, Arcane!" Lysander ordered, his Pokémon waiting for the others to be commanded before the others began their attacks. Assan's forepaws began to glow a bright white, the edges of Arcane's wings glowing similarly.

    It seemed like a good idea. "Tropius, come on out!" When the giant dinosaur-like Grass type had appeared, I ordered it to perform a Leaf Tornado. Large, razor-sharp leaves appeared out of nowhere and shot towards the door.

    Assan smashed his paws into the door, just as a concentrated blade of air had struck it -- and leaves smashed into it as well. The door slammed inwards, landing on all the rubble that had previously been there. They dashed back to Lysander, who nodded determinedly. Seeing the light, he realised that that was their escape. Now, it was their time to select their charges to bear out of the place.

    She turned to Lysander and remarked, "Gaard may be able to carry one of them, but will need another way to get through the ceiling."

    "That's all right, I'll have Arcane help. Let's get out of this place first." Lysander ran towards the spot underneath the gap in the ceiling, intending to use the rubble as a springboard upwards -- he was about to attempt to grab the edge of the hole so he could pull himself through.

    Lysander, having leapt upwards from the rubble, had grabbed the edge of the hole, pulling himself through it with some effort. The thugs gave him a dirty look, but seemed to remain where they were. Lysander urged the others to come through -- there were definitely less than ten minutes in it now.

    Slapping his palm to his face, Lysander watched as Makina failed at replicating him. He hoped she hadn't injured herself, but, seeing her difficulty with standing, he got Arcane to use Psychic on her like he had with the other two.

    Lysander realised that they were standing on top of a building that was about to explode. "Arcane, get in there and get those two out here now!" he cried. The two of the thief's accomplices were still glaring at both him and Makina, and, although he knew it was insane, he had to try and distract them.

    "Wist, knock one of them out with Shadow Sneak," Makina whispered to the Banette, hoping to use the shock as a distraction.

    "Perfect." Arcane popped up through the ceiling once more, having levitated the other trainer and the old man alongside him. He dropped them to the floor of the roof, and then turned to stare in the direction of the two grunts.
    "We need to get control of that helicopter."

    Makina silently cursed her team's complete lack of Water moves.  She could send Gaard in for help, but in doing so she would be grounded as well.  "Wist, go for a Dark Pulse!"

    "I definitely do not. However, what I do have is a little bit of 'common sense!'" Lysander said (in a rather cliché manner). He whirled in his seat, vaulting over it and rushing towards the woman. Hopefully his COMMON SENSE would help him to deliver this baby, although he was not too pleased about it.
