  1. Join a guild.
  2. Get a mentor/mentee. http://wiki.dfo-world.com/view/Mentorship
  3. Stack quests.
  4. Learn how the FP system works.
  5. Rush your dungeon clears unless you know you'll get that missing quest drop if you clear one more room.
  6.
  7. 1-45 is whatever, just try to save Growth Potions for Fanatics and pop a Treasure Hunter Potion for the Solid Cranium quest in Behemoth.
  8.
  9.
  10. Grind Fanatics till 49-50 if you don't mind doing Iced Wall epics, 53 if you want to skip Iced Wall Epics (just do them if it's your first character).
  11.
  12. Progress through Iced Wall normally if you didnt skip it and grind Frost Cave until 55-56 (http://www.dungeonfighter.info/dfo-global-frost-cave-guide-tips/ <- quiz answers here)
  13.
  14. Do the Death Dragon questline, ignore the Oxidized Substance part unless you get it on your first try.
  15.
  16. Go to Ghent
  17. Buy/craft the Sewer Princess Faris APC for Ultimate if your class is shit or just do Hard.
  18. Do all your Epics, full clear Ghent Outskirts whenever you're out of Epics before level 60.
  19. At level 60, do quick Battlefield clears instead of Outskirts whenever you're out of Epics.
  20. At level 62, full clear Final Pursuit whenever you're out of Epics.
  21.
  22. At 63 you can either:
  23. a) Do Oceanic Epics and grind Mt.Hardt Showdown whenever you run out of them (do this if you want to unlock all the Oceanic dailies asap)
  24. b) Grind Mt. Hardt Showdown until 68 (do this if you don't plan on doing dailies on the character you're leveling)
  25.
  26. At 68, head to the Oceanic Express and grind the Express Train special dungeon until 70-73.

  32. Here are a few guidelines that I personally followed while leveling:
  33.
  34. 1. Run Altars three times every level, and at the beginning of each day. This is EXP for no fatigue and adds up to around 8-10% of your EXP bar per level, so there's no reason not to run them.
  35. 2. Having a reliable mentee is absolutely necessary if you want to level quickly like this. This gives you +1 FP, 10 times, which means 10 more full clears, which is really a lot.
  36. 3. Having an active mentor is also extremely important. A high-level mentor adds somewhere around 8-10% EXP to your hunting and clear EXP amounts, which makes up around 2/3rds of your total EXP gained (the other 1/3rd comes from quests). From 70-80 this adds up to more than 20mil extra EXP. My mentor was almost never online during my grinding, so actually I missed out on a lot of EXP.
  37. 4. Before level 74, you should grind Express. Starting at level 74, Time Gate dungeons start giving more EXP than Express, so stop grinding Express at level 74.
  38. 5. At level 74, you should do rush clears for your Epic Quests.
  39. 6. When you run out of FP, do full clears with your mentor FP. Good dungeons to full clear are Blaze, Epidemic, Screaming Cavern, and to some extent Confidential Area. Bad dungeons to full clear are Kartel, Crusade, and Naissance.
  40. 7. Black Crusade gives the worst EXP out of all of the Time Gate dungeons. Try to move quickly past this area.
  41. 8. Screaming Cavern gives the best EXP out of all of the Time Gate dungeons until Time Break. When you unlock this area, use all of your mentor FP here! Before you unlock Time Break, whenever you have spare FP and no worthwhile quests to complete, spend your FP here, rather than in Naissance or Awakening.
  42. 9. Time Gate dailies are always worth doing.
  43. 10. When you're rushing Naissance, the south path (to hatchling Skasa) gives more EXP than the east path (to hatchling Spirazzi).
  44. 11. Time Break is amazing; once you unlock this area you should pretty much spend all of your FP here.
  45.
  46. This is definitely not the fastest you can reach level 80. I made a lot of mistakes along the way (glitches in AoA, not grinding Express immediately at 70, accidentally leaving creature unequipped, not having an active mentor, lv77 Epic requiring a party (RIP) to complete), which together could have added up to the 45mil EXP that I was missing for 80 yesterday. I think with our current daily 1.5x Growth Potions, the 70-80 grind should be possible in 4 days, if you're totally committed and have the resources and time for it.
