[6:22 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Concerned for your wayward guide, Shadow Jager the whatever-he's-calling-himself, who you were separated from after a particularly foul run-in with undead, you have left the Complex in the divine guidance of the paldins that you freed from the Axoim - which turned out to be just one of the shards of the shattered Wand of Orcus, sentient, too.

  10. [6:23 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Thanks to less than stellar guidance, you've found a Temple of Mielikki, of which was under attack by undead. Having rescued the priest(ess), Arisa, you made a friend, and moved on, back toward the Prison that you left.

[6:25 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: In the Prison, talking with the Dwarf, and presenting the facts that you have together, along with the Shard's embarrassing past being revealed by Shadow, you've learned a few things: That the world was accidentally destroyed by a lecherous Hero... Whose soul somehow seems to have ended up within the Shard of Wand of Orcus that you've been carrying around. Also, he's Shadow's father.

  14. [6:27 PM] §upposition: Denalthir watches the Shadow Jaeger and his long lost father-shard interact and smiles a bit, before considering their next move. She regroups with the others in order to make a plan.

  19. [6:30 PM] Faerie: Razmik looks at Alicia, still amused at Shadow's display, and glances back to the shard.

  30. [6:34 PM] Mizuki: "I also made those" - She said fetching the aspersion bullets from her pocket - "There's holy water inside, should be really useful against undead. You should take one!"
  31. [6:34 PM] Kaperis: John, who's totally been there the whole time, points out: "Well, you can also shoot twice if you carry that, I guess?"
  32. [6:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Recelle's eyes brighten for a bit. "Inside? How'd you manage that?"
  33. [6:35 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Recelle hadn't considered that before; For her, those weapons are a bit inaccessible in term of cost, normally.... That, and carrying two muskets around seem to be a bit too cumbersome for her.

  39. [6:38 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Recelle nods... And keeps one close at hand just in case there are targets that would benefit from being struck with onee.

  41. [6:38 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Aspergillum weapons in melee: Bonus action on hit to release holy water inside, dealing holy water damage with an auto-hit.
  42. [6:38 PM] Faerie: Razmik wonders if it's not getting too cramped in the cell, with one more person in and a golem. It really looked like a golem, to him. Seemed really heavy, after all... how did that even work? Ah, well, magic.

  61. [6:49 PM] Faerie: Razmik thought about suggesting they go join the Complex folk, but in hindsight, didn't seem like a place filled with knights and so-on would be their exact cup of tea...

  92. [6:58 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The Dwarf shrugs. "Because nobody wants to risk their life going into the town center... Here." The Dwarf points toward the castle and the three mage towers around it.
  93. [6:59 PM] Faerie: Razmik looks at where John's eyes would be were it not for the helmet, a bit surprised. ''Armsdale has nothing like that?''

The process he described seem simple enough - go to each one of the towers, re-activate their individual defenses and associated "mana pool" after the ownership was scrubbed clean as the wizard resident died, then go to the castle for the final ritual - detail of which is surely kept somewhere by the previous governer.

  108. [7:05 PM] Faerie: It was obvious there was much they would never know about - as always, with a whole history to the place they were in, it was a bit easy to forget they were in a nightmare.

  110. [7:07 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "Well, my boy, this one is manual too! To activate, that is. Never understood why wizards are so keep to keep their stuffs under control." The Dwarf says, sarcastic and glaring at the shard. "It's almost as if letting some shumuck hero touch things would make it blow up!"
  111. [7:07 PM] Faerie: ''Ah. I see.'' That was basically one-and-a-half times Razmik's age. He forgot half-elves aged slowly, since the only ones he knew were the ones from the order.

  114. [7:08 PM] Faerie: ''Just making sure, there's no catch besides activating each system individually, then performing a ritual?''
  115. [7:09 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "Well, there's a ton of undead out there." The Dwarf says matter-of-fact-ly. "That's the only catch there is - you can't just stroll to the towers and go boop a button or pull a lever."
  116. [7:09 PM] Faerie: That sounded like it had a lot of potential to go badly, in case it required them to split up to get each system running simultaneously.
  117. [7:10 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The Dwarf shrugs. "Theoretically, you can have the ritual start with just two towers - They had the precaution just in case one of the great mage in their tower died of heart attack or something."
  118. [7:10 PM] Faerie: ''At least there won't be surprises involved. That's a relief!'', he clamored. But on second thought... ''unless we don't know if there's anything inside those towers, I suppose?''

  122. [7:11 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "I, for one, know all about wizards!" The shard vibrates angrily, complaining. "For I am Wand of Orcus- Wait."

  126. [7:12 PM] Faerie: ''No, but there's a few magicians amongst us'', Razmik laughs and adds: ''Been traveling for a short time, but more than enough to know not to question wizards'', his tone at the end indicating seriousness.

  183. [7:31 PM] Faerie: ''Yeah, actually, Shadow sounds like a great idea now that I mention it, we should definitely give it to Shadow. Yes. Shadow.'', Razmik attempts to talk over Alicia's offer.

  188. [7:33 PM] Kaperis: "I heard you helped everyone out of a pinch before. You have my thanks!" John says to the young half-elf.

  194. [7:33 PM] Faerie: After throwing a curveball to the shard, Razmik hurriedly looks at Alicia and shakes his head as subtly as he can. Letting it near Alicia would be an awful idea!

If anything positively had to die a second death, the Paladin trusted this could very well give it to it swiftly.

The spaces that serve as windows peek into barrack rooms, filled with bunkers and personal storage. It's a very watchtower-y setup.
