[18:38] * Edna C%3 our group has dealt with the survivor.... poorly. Having lost the newest member of there group in the process. All that is left is to take a look around this, now former, raider nest...
[18:39] * Elektron takes a look around the camp, looking for materials to prevent something like this from happening again
[18:40] * Ragebrew worked silently as she picked through the camp throughly, starting at the sniper's nest and working inward. The only thing she said was a bellowed "Keep an eye out for traps. Rather not have to patch ya up!"
[18:43] * Midnight_Hour is still curled up, crying over her horn and Click and... EVERYTHING!
[18:44] * Edna  Long-shot sits with Midnight, silently trying to comfort her
[18:44] * Elektron sighs, finding nothing inside the trailer "I'm going to check some other trailers... ummm... feel better?" he says to Midnight_Hour, not really sure what to say
[18:45] * Ragebrew looked at the measly two shell cases and slipped them into her duster pocket. Stepping out, she looked at Midnight_Hour and Long-shot. She snorted before trotting to the next building.
[18:48] * Elektron trots to another trailer, not finding dust to be a particularly valuable salvage item
[18:50] * Edna  Ragebrew trots into the next trailer, stepping on a small pressure plate as he walks in. Then a rather large radscorpion burst out of the bathroom! Charging right for him!
[18:52] * Edna  it promptly snaps at and tries to sting Ragebrew, obviously quite angry about being locked in the bathroom
[18:54] * Edna  it rakes his side and stings him in the head, giving him a pair bleeding wounds
[18:55] * Ragebrew just yelled at the top of her lungs as the stinger embedded itself in her forehead for a moment, before blasting away at the vermin with the Samaritan
[18:59] * Edna  Ragebrew blows two very big holes in the radscorpion, killing it outright
[19:00] * Ragebrew snorts as she kicks the rad scorpion once, reloading the Samaritan with another speedloader of slugs before pulling out her bowie knife and getting to work on harvesting it.
[19:01] * Edna  Electron takes one step into the next and the floor falls out, dropping him into a spiked pit!
[19:03] * Elektron feels a hoof fall out under himself and yells "RAGEBREW!" before crying out in pain from the spikes
[19:04] * Ragebrew crudely rips the claws and the stinger off the scorpion, cramming them into her ammo cases before perking her head up and rushing towards the sound of screaming. "What I say bout keeping an eye out for traps!?" She slid over to the pit, reaching down to help Elektron
[19:06] * Ragebrew bit down on Elektron's mane and pulled him out of the spike pit. The moment he hit the ground, she pulling out a roll of bandage, sniffing the wounds and looking down at the spikes. She knew the things raiders did to traps...
[19:07] * Elektron grabs Ragebrew's leg "I was! I didn't think that would happen though..."  he said, wincing from where the spikes pierced him
[19:09] * Ragebrew rolled the puncture wounds with gauze. She was still bleeding from her forehead. ''Sod had a lot of time alone. Figure this place is rigged to high heaven. On the plus side, do ya like rad scorp?"
[19:09] * Elektron furrows his brows "Not particularly... why?"
[19:10] * Ragebrew grinned as she bound her own wounds next. "Oh, it's on the menu."
[19:11] * Elektron looks slightly queasy "Oh..."
[19:12] * Pony_18203 is now known as Lyra_Heartstrings
[19:13] * Ragebrew chuckled. "It tastes good, honest. Steam it with a little garlic, shredded over a salad.... Maybe with a hardboiled egg slice over... Is quite tasty." She stood up and looked around the room.
[19:13] * Elektron shakes himself off "Where should we go next? You can lead... I don't think I'm very good at finding traps..."
[19:14] * Edna  Ragebrew only finds spikes
[19:14] * Ragebrew nodded and trotted back to the row she was working on. "Keep yer gun ready. Sucker had a rad scorp in a cage last I found. Might have more."
[19:15] * Elektron nods, pulling out the Plasma Defender and following Ragebrew
[19:16] * Edna  the next trailer greets Ragebrew with an angry "Beep! Beep! Beep!"
[19:19] * Elektron 's ears twitch as he hears the beeps, remembering what they did to Ragebrew long ago and pulls her back with all his strength
[19:21] * Edna  Elektron manages to pull Ragebrew away from the mine before it goes off. If there was anything of value in there it's gone now as the trailer is gutted by the explosion
[19:22] * Ragebrew blinks from her spot on the ground, and pats Elektron on the head. "Thanks." She shuffled to her hooves. "To the next... Sisters this is getting annoying."
[19:23] * Elektron nods "Its only right, considering what you did for me..." he said, getting up and following her
[19:24] * Ragebrew shrugged, the stone leg grinding slightly in the motion. "Still, thanks." She shuffled over to the next trailer.
[19:25] * Edna  Ragebrew actually sees the mine this time...
[19:26] * Ragebrew looks at the mine for a moment. "Wait right here..." She stepped back and unslung her ammo cases. Then, she found the BIGGEST slab of metal she could pick up. "Might wanna back away..."
[19:27] * Elektron 's eyes widen as Ragebrew's interesting method and backs far away
[19:28] * Ragebrew hurls the metal ontop of the mine, diving for whatever cover she could as it traveled
[19:29] * Edna  the mines goes off with a dull "WUMP!" the big chunk of metal smothering the explosive
[19:30] * Ragebrew smiled as she picked her ammo cases back up, trotting to the trailer and peering inside.
[19:30] * Elektron follows Ragebrew after hearing the explosion, peering inside as well
[19:31] * Edna  the place is pretty spartain, only a box of Big Mac'n Cheese can be found
[19:31] * Ragebrew snags the box. Was something at least. "Wonder just how many mines this guy had..."
[19:32] * Elektron shrugs "Too many probably... too much time on their hooves as well."
[19:33] * Ragebrew trots on over to the next trailer. "What's it gonna be this time... Shotgun at eye level? Grenade on a string? Surprise me..."
[19:33] * Elektron follows, silently hoping he wasn't tempting fate

[19:34] * Edna  apparently he had three mines, as there is another in this trailer
[19:35] * Ragebrew glares at the mine. "Again? This is getting old." She set her saddlebags far aside, and grabbed her trusty mine sweeping device, AKA, Slab o' Metal. Fling!
[19:40] * Edna  Slab o' Metal dose the job again, but it disintegrates as Ragebrew goes to retrieve it
[19:41] <+Ragebrew> "Ya served us well." She poked her nose into the room for a moment, expecting more nothing. "He's gotta have a supply cache somewhere..."
[19:43] <+Ragebrew> "Well, onto the next I suppose..."
[19:43] * Elektron takes a look around, not finding anything useful "Maybe in that larger building in the center?" he said, pointing to the structure
[19:44] * Midnight_Hour finally stops crying and just lays there, hugging her head and letting Longshot stroke her mane.
[19:46] * Edna  Ragebrew finds a stash of .32 rounds!
[19:47] * Ragebrew looked at the bullets and crammed them into her ammo case. "Ah well. It's something."
[19:48] * Elektron nods "I was hoping to find some sensor modules, but I'm starting to think that might be a lost cause..."
[19:48] * Ragebrew chuckled "This place doesn't strike me as tech savvy..." She hopped out of the trailer and continued her circuit.
[19:49] * Edna  Ragebrew find Merciful_Devotion curled up in the corner, sobbing quietly
[19:50] * Ragebrew trotted inside, looking around slowly to make sure Mercy hadn't gotten lucky and missed the traps, before turning to the mare. "What's eating ya Mercy?"
[19:51] * Elektron follows her inside, unsure of what to say to Mercy
[19:52] * Merciful_Devotion sniffles and rubs her nose with her forehoof. "Just... Leave me alone... Please..."
[19:52] * Edna  Long-shot stands and trots outside, turning to Midnight_Hour "I'm..... gunna go keep watch, k?"
[19:53] * Midnight_Hour simply nods towards the wall, not saying a word.
[19:54] * Edna  Long-shot nods "You should go find Ragey and the others...." and trots off up the hill
[19:55] * Ragebrew pulled out a slightly clean rag from her pocket, offering it to Merciful_Devotion. "Not with ya bawling yer eyes out in the middle of a booby trapped raider den." She had bandages covering her forehead and a fresh stock on her chest. Just how many layer of bandages were on this mare?
[19:57] * Merciful_Devotion rubs her nose again and takes the offered rag, blowing her nose. "Can
[19:57] <+Merciful_Devotion> *it at least wait... Until we're out of this place? Please?"
[19:58] * Ragebrew nodded and stood up, offering her a hoof. "That it can."
[19:59] * Elektron smiles a little, glad that at least one pony knew what to do in a situation like this
[20:02] <+Ragebrew> "Now come on, we need an extra set of eyes out here. Already ran into a rad scorp in a cage and a buncha mines."
[20:02] * Merciful_Devotion shakily grasps Ragebrew's hoof. "A-Alright..."
[20:03] <+Elektron> "and spike pits..." he says, rubbing a spot where a spike pierced im
[20:03] <+Elektron> him*
[20:03] <+Ragebrew> "And we should check on Midnight_Hour... Last I saw she was sobbing too. Least she didn't lose her horn..." She rubbed her stone leg slightly before trotting out.
[20:04] * Elektron follows Ragebrew
[20:04] * Merciful_Devotion stumbles up after them, falling into line.
[20:08] * Edna  the center building is not booby trapped, it composes of a single room. A worn mattress sits opposite of a stack of metal boxes and a large trunk, chained shut and to the wall....
[20:09] * Elektron looks to Ragebrew "Is it safe to look around?"
[20:10] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I hope so... I don't want to see another sniper...."
[20:10] * Ragebrew nodded. "Looks like it. Have at, I am gonna go find Midnight." She trotted back towards the trio trailers, where she last saw the unicorn mare.
[20:11] * Elektron nods and takes a look at the stack of metal boxes
[20:12] * Merciful_Devotion nods and starts looking around, taking special note of the trunk...

[20:16] * Ragebrew trotted into the trailer, looking at Midnight_Hour before sitting down against the wall. She didn't say anything, just looking at the mare.
[20:17] * Midnight_Hour just stares at the wall for a minute, knowing Ragebrew is there, before letting out a long, shuddering breath. "You skinned her. She was barely a few minutes dead and you skinned her."
[20:17] <+Ragebrew> "I gutted her. I Left her skin. That much I can say."
[20:18] <+Ragebrew> "And if ya don't preserve the organs swiftly, they will begin to rot and be useless."
[20:19] * Edna  Mercy finds a few useful things in the boxes, a shotgun, some ammo a little food. A random missile and a Sparkle-Cola RAD
[20:21] * Edna  Elektron only finds a big ass trunk
[20:21] * Merciful_Devotion grins, going ahead and stuffing the items into her pack.
[20:22] <+Midnight_Hour> "It's... it's barbaric. She was just a kid."
[20:22] * Elektron tilts his head and tries to open the trunk
[20:23] * Edna  it's still chained closed and to the wall...
[20:23] * Merciful_Devotion keeps looking around the place, wondering what other little treasures she could find.
[20:24] <+Ragebrew> "Yes Midnight. I'm fucking barbaric to no end. But ya know what, that's how I've survived. That's how I spent over 20 years alone in this hell hole. Just because she's dead doesn't mean she can have some final use before being left to rot in peace."
[20:24] * Elektron looks for any weak points in the chain, or any locks
[20:25] * Edna  it's locked, kinda pointless to chain something up without locking it
[20:25] <+Ragebrew> "I tried to help her. But she was already dead. Not amount of respect can bring someone back from the dead. But a little disrespect can help those who are still alive."
[20:27] * Midnight_Hour just lays there, not speaking or moving.
[20:28] * Elektron harumphs "I left the robot back at the trailer... I guess I'll go get it."
[20:29] <+Merciful_Devotion> "I'll keep watch here, keep scrounging.
[20:30] * Elektron trots out, giving the trailers a wide berth before returning with robot
[20:30] * Elektron motions to the trunk "Open that"
[20:31] * PAL nods "Understood commander."
[20:31] * Ragebrew snorted. "Ya think I like having to live like this? Ya think I like living hoof to mouth and at the barrel of a gun? I'd give up anything to have lived like ya did. But if yer ever gonna make it home, yer gonna need to toughen up. Maybe seeing this hell will make ya really understand just how nice ya got it."
[20:32] * Edna  the robot undoes the lock and the chains slump off.....
[20:33] * Elektron smiles, happy that the robot got the lock undone quickly and opens the trunk
[20:33] * PAL steps back from the trunk "Awaiting next order commander."
[20:34] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Ooohh, open it!"
[20:35] * Edna  the lid flys open, the edge lined with large, pointed teeth! A long pink pseudopod shoots out and grabs Elektron and drags him into it with a roar as it closes on the hapless stallion. A moment later a dozen stubby legs sprout out of the bottom and it starts to shuffle towards the door with it's catch!
[20:37] * Elektron screams as it pulls him in "HELP ME!" he shouts, though it is fairly muffled
[20:41] * Merciful_Devotion yelps and spins around, pulling out her Lever action rifle and attempting to fire on the... Equine-eating-box?
[20:46] * Edna  she hit's it once, most of the shot just bouncing off it's hide
[20:48] * Midnight_Hour sticks her head up, her ears twitching. "Oh no."
[20:49] * PAL shouts "DANGER DANGER WARNING WARNING!" and promptly shuts down, falling over
[20:51] * Edna  the monster truck tries to slam into Mercy before bolting for the door!
[20:54] * Edna  it knocks her into the far wall then burst through the door, you can almost hear an 'OH YEAH' as it dose
[20:56] * Merciful_Devotion groans weakly and holds a hoof against her chest as she staggers back up, pulling her rifle around and firing two more shots.
[20:58] * Edna  again a single shot hits and again it dose almost nothing
[21:01] * Midnight_Hour jumps to her hooves and runs towards the sound of the gunshots, but every time she tries to leave or enter a trailer, she stops to check if the coast is clear. She didn't have her magic and felt insanely weak and vulnerable.
[21:04] * Edna  Midnight_Hour find the source of the disturbance, a large..... trunk with legs has just burst through the wall of the small building and it has Elektron hanging out of it.....
[21:04] <Edna>  it's mouth....
[21:05] * Ragebrew perks her head up at the sound of gunfire before scrambling to her hooves and charging out the door. As she charged around, she blinked at the... box with legs with a pony hind end sticking out of it. "OH WHAT THE HELL?!" She charged right up to it, blasting it with the Samaritan. "LEGGO OF MY FRIEND!"
[21:08] * Edna  the thing yelps as the slug hits it in the legs, it's hurt but not slowing down anytime soon
[21:09] * Elektron waves his back legs helplessly, a faint crying eminating from the trunk
[21:10] * Edna  Long-shot takes a single shot and hits the thing, badly wounding it....
[21:11] * Edna  the demon trunk, growls and gnaws on Elektron. It rushes at Ragebrew and tries to push past....
[21:12] * Elektron wimpers as the trunk crushes him, his helpless flailing slowing down
[21:13] * Edna  it's slams into Ragebrew and sends her flying!
[21:15] * Merciful_Devotion winces at the sight of Ragebrew flying, talking another pair of shots.

[21:19] * Midnight_Hour stares at the creature, not knowing what it is, and uselessly tries to fire off an energy strike, but nothing happens. "I-I can't do anything!"
[21:22] * Ragebrew slammed into the ground and POOMFed out, causing her to yell in anger as she stumbled back to her hooves, charging at the creature before unloading another slug into it "THEN GET OVER HERE AND PULL ELEKTRON OUT!"
[21:24] <+Midnight_Hour> "I can't! I can't! I don't have magic! I can't do anything!"
[21:24] <+Ragebrew> "YA GOT YER HOOVES AND TEETH! USE "EM!"
[21:25] * Edna  Long-shot takes another shot at it and narrowly misses
[21:28] * Edna  the box bites down on Elektron again and growls at Ragebrew before rushing at her again. Seems it's taken some of this personally
[21:29] * Edna  and rushes right past...
[21:29] * Elektron cries out as it bites again, his flailing legs all but still now
[21:30] * Merciful_Devotion fires off one shot before taking careful aim for the second.
[21:32] * Edna  Mercy has just shot Elektron in the ass, then her gun jams!
[21:33] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Fuck me with the moon!" She exclaims, trying to unjam her gun.
[21:34] * Elektron yelps as he feels the shotgun rounds hit him, his crying becoming much louder
[21:37] * Midnight_Hour looks at the creature, then sees Elektron's legs going still. "No!" she screams before pulling out her plasma carbine with her teeth, much to her disgust, and pulling the trigger with her tongue twice.
[21:39] * Edna  she hits it once, burning a small hole in it's..... hide?
[21:39] * Ragebrew spins around "OH NO YA DON'T!" She fired one last slug into the creature, before trying to bite down on Elektron's tail and wrench him free.

[21:43] * Edna  Long-shot takes another long range shot at the thing and hits it bad. Thick yellow goo starts oozing from it's various wounds, it's still up but far from happy...
[21:44] * Edna  and in response it turns tail and runs for the open desert, it's various wounds slowing it down...
[21:45] * Merciful_Devotion growls and fires off two more shots before chasing after the thing
[21:46] * Edna  and the lucky mare misses
[21:48] * Midnight_Hour turns, angry tears running down her face, and fires three more shots into the demon box, all three hitting.
[21:50] * Edna  she hits it in the back, turning it to green goo. Items and junk clattering to the ground as it melts, Elektron goes tumbling to the ground, smoking as he gets burned....
[21:57] * Elektron gasps for air as the creature melts around him, clutching his chest and coughing up blood as he lays there
[21:58] * Ragebrew charges over to Elektron, throwing her cloak over the smoldering buck to try and douse the flames all over him, while pouring a potion down his throat.
[22:05] * Ragebrew looks up at Midnight_Hour "And ya said ya were useless without yer horn! Hah!'
[22:06] * Elektron grabs Ragebrew's leg, crying uncontrollably
[22:06] * Midnight_Hour spits out the energy weapon and sticks out her tongue. "Ugh. I touched it with my tongue. That's so unsanitary!"
[22:08] * Ragebrew looked down at Elektron and picked him up "On yer hooves. Yer not dead, and only have a few scars.'
[22:08] * Ragebrew looked to Midnight_Hour "We'll get ya some silver grips. Silver kills germs and all."
[22:10] * Elektron stands up wobbily, still sniffling "But there were these teeth and it kept biting, and it was so dark. And it had this weird tongue and it kept licking my face... like it was tasting me for later!" he said, tearing up
[22:12] * Ragebrew patted Elektron on the back "Well, ya proved too much to swallow. Yer not dead yet."
[22:13] * Elektron nods, shivering a bit
[22:20] * Edna  within the goo is a few very nice weapons.... and a few old skeletons
[22:20] * Ragebrew trotted over to the pile of goo, and begin to pick through it. "Wish ya hadn't melted that Midnight. Coulda used some of the bits..."

[22:24] * Edna  the group has cleared out Raiden, but it had cost them there new friend. But where will the witches trail take them next? What will they find? THINGS AND PLACES!?
