  1. Falco simply glared at the kid as he listened to the child's annoying him. The kid reminded him of someone but he just wasn't sure who. All he knew was that, the way this kid talked to him, pissed him off. He then let out a small sigh as he walked over towards the training grounds with two swords on his back. One the Epistula and the other The Verlosser.
  2.
  3. He stood before the child, his stance was solid as he stood tall before the lad. He then stretched around his back and instead of drawing for the Epistula, this time, he'd go for the Verlosser. Falco could feel the immense power from the blade as he weilded it, the sword empowered his being but at the same time...it weakened him.
  4.
  5. He could feel the sword slowly leeching off of his life essence as he held the blade in hand. It was a strange feeling and if it weren't for Falco's will, he probably would've dropped the blade right there. Falco would then take a deep breath, his green slitted eyes were darted towards the young Meylm. Falco then said
  6.
  7. " Come. "
  8.
  9. Falco then stood there, waiting on the Meylm to attack as a weird vibe would slowly start to be given off from the Scarlett. His anger slowly starting to be released from its storage, empowering his being. The kid wanted a fight, the Berserker would give him one.
  10.
  11.
  12. (Falco)
  13.
  14. Griffiel followed the teen before him, honestly he didn't have anything to do, leads to Avion went cold and look at that, he found himself in Frostvale, someone somewhere must know something. However, now he had gotten to fight the red haired scarlet he had requested a fight from about a year ago or was it a couple months? You lose track of time when you're such a busy Melym, eyes drifted left to right admiring the decor of Frostvale somewhat, it was frozen terrain stretching for acres and still.. No dragon.
  15.
  16. But that would come later as now Griffiel's priority was on the fight ahead of him, standing but a few feet away from Falco, he reached to his waist and withdrew a sword. Glistening and polished, unstained silver, pure just like the boy's hair, snowflakes camouflaged with his skin and locks, Griffiel's eyes focused on the drakanite before him. It was rumoured and told in legends they were the physically strongest race, no surprise seeing as they were descendants of dragons so, no real shocking revelation.
  17.
  18. As Griffiel stanced himself, the red haired teen gave off an eerie vibe, as if there was some sort of aura going off here, something that didn't feel too right, depravity perhaps? No the feeling was kind of sinister, but not that sinister, it felt.. Angry. But this couldn't be allowed to cloud Griffiel's mind nor his judgement, what he needed to do now was clear his head and put his mind and body into fighting against Falco. "Let's see if the stories of drakanites are true. Show me your strength!" he exclaimed as he rushed towards the berserker.
  19. (Griffiel Melym)
  20.
  21. The fight began and Falco clenched the blade firmly before dashing in. Falco then rushed towards the lad and swung his blade down with all his might. The teen was relentless and each swing was brought down with fool force. Falco didn't use the sharp side of the Verlosser so all the blows Griffiel recieved were blunt. The fight began it was from anyone that was watching this, it would seem quite obvious who the winner at first, so the Scarlett let down his guard.
  22.
  23. He'd regret that.
  24.
  25. Soon after, a beam of Cosmic energy was sent straight at his chest sending him flying. Falco stood there after recieving the blast, shocked. He didn't expect that in the slightest. He stood there, thinking about it.
  26.
  27. " That hurt...alot. "
  28.
  29. Griffiel then proceeded to show his true might as he continued to throw out even magic that was powered by the cosmos. Falco was thrown back everytime and that....intrigued him. A grin formed on his face as mana started to rush throughout his viens. Falco then looked at the kid and then said
  30.
  31. " More, I want to see more! "
  32.
  33. This time, Falco dashed towards Griffiel instead of waiting. The young lad caught the man's curiousity. He desired to experience more of the lad's power, he wanted to see just how far this kid could go. He wanted more!
  34.
  35. (Falco)
  36.
  37. As the fght commenced, sword clanged against sword, one force opposing the next, though it hardly seemed equal, it was obvious which one of the two was stronger, physically. His entire being was pushed back from the force of the teen's swings, though the Scarlett teen was mighty, it was time to show off Griffiel's forte.. For now.. His hands charged with cosmic mana and before Falco knew it he was pushed back across the frosty savhanna into the snow.
  38.
  39. A smirk from Griffiel as he did so, however he had taken quite a number of blows from the drakanite's sword, there was still a rather eerie aura about Falco and it only grew worse as the fight commenced. It seemed the drakanite enjoyed the roughousing and wanted more, Griffiel quickly firmented his stance and prepared his counterattack. Borrowing energy from Orion this time, a golden ambience surrounded the Melym child.
  40.
  41. Blue eyes thicker than the skies stared at Falco, now was the second round and Griffiel didn't plan to have the same results as last time,"Careful what you wish for drakanite!"
  42. (Griffiel Melym)
  43.
  44. As the golden ambience surrounded Griffiel, his eyes were fierce, his sword still shimmered, a bit less though because of the clouds looming overhead, the snow raining down from above. His armour was being battered by Falco's blade, but he couldn't simply take damage, he had to give it back, he parried away one of the swings Falco made and in a burst of cosmic energy he dashed forward. The golden energy surrounded him and he moved much faster than he did before, looking like a stream of gold he zipped and punched Falco in the abdomen, moving the two of them across the field.
  45.
  46. Extending his fist he pushed Falco back as the teen skipped across the snow, however that didn't last for long, but Griffiel had a plan, as Falco came rushing back he used the snow around him. Quickly the snowflakes became droplets of water and converged into a sphere of condensed water, only to be released in a line of compressed water, pushing the drakanite back once again. But still, Falco didn't get the point,"What is up with this guy? Doesn't he just stay down?" he muttered to himself with a frown on his face. Once more he charged a beam of cosmic energy and pushed the teen back across the terrain and yet he managed to get back, his resilience was amazing.
  47.
  48. Griffiel panted, all these attacks and counterattacks seemed to be getting him tired, but he didn't have time for that so now he'd focus on using Orion's energy, or perhaps.. He paused, focused even, after months of meditating and practicing he was able to do this much quicker than the first time, calling on even more mana from Orion he grunted. Though the technique had been pretty much mastered, well this aspect of it at least, it was still a bit painful, his mana began to fuse and merge with Orion's. However he kept all the mana compact into his left arm, the arm becoming a limb of pure astral mana, being fueled by his own mana circuit was the worst part of the technique.
  49. (Griffiel Melym)
  50.
  51. Falco simply gripped his blade once more, taking a deep breath. The child seemed to have some potential in him. However, he wasn't near the strength of the person he reminded him of. No, that man was stronger than this child and carried a certain pride to him. Nevertheless, it was time to end this. There were other things on his agenda...
  52.
  53. Wings sprouted from his back, horns from his head. He glared at the child as he stanced himself once more. The effects of the Verlosser, making his breathing harder as it asked for more of his life energy. He took a deep breath and just for a mere moment Scarlett eyes would be seen on Falco. A cold gaze being shot at Griffiel peircing the lad with fear.
  54.
  55. Falco then exhaled and then crouched down for a moment before dashing back in. He then said to the lad
  56.
  57. " This is the might of the Drakanite. "
  58. (Falco)
  59.
  60. The lad seemed to learn from the last two previous fights and started to utilize his magic rather than his skills with the blade. A wise choice indeed, for the lad was a swift one dodging the Scarlett's skills with great precision. Falco had to use all the speed he had just to try and catch the lad but it was worth it because when he did...he gave the kid all of his drakan might.
  61.
  62. This catch and hit pattern continued until Falco gripped the Verlosser firmly and sending a powerful swing towards the lad as if Smashing him with all of his power. The mere force of the swing was enough to send the kid flying into the tree and knocking him unto his knees.
  63.
  64. He then took a deep breath and then said
  65.
  66. " Good fight kid, keep it up....then one day you'll be even stronger. "
  67.
  68. Falco then simply strapped back the Verlosser unto his back and proceeded to make his way to Frostvale.
  69. (Falco)
  70.
  71. Falco would look at the woman for awhile, noticing the flames that surrounded her being. He'd then take a sigh noticing that she didn't mean any harm, however when she did mention Danarium...that flipped a switch in Falco's head. He got angry at that moment, glaring at the woman his green slitted eyes slowly changing into a scarlett red. Heat started to pump out of his Berserker arm and heat would be felt being emitted from it as well. He muttered
  72.
  73. " Ersa..."
  74.
  75. It was only when she finished her statement when he truly realized this woman's intentions and exactly who she was. His eyes reverted back to normal and he would feel safer to converse with or be around rather than just a few seconds ago.
  76.
  77. He'd then chuckle for a moment before looking at his left hand. The burn mark still there along with more even more burn marks, this time caused by someone else. He then look up at the woman with a faint smile and then said
  78.
  79. " Oh yeah....you're right. Forgot to thank you for that. Name's Falco, thanks for fixing up my hand. "
  80. (Falco)
  81.
  82. Eshne nodded at the name of Ersa. That was right, that was the woman who seemed to run the place. She scratched at the back of her flaming head and gave a quick nod. "Err...Yeah, heard she put you in jail for that stunt. No idea what was going on back there." She said with a slight shrug.
  83.
  84. Her flames died down a little, making her appear a little less dangerous...Although a doll sized woman like her wasn't exactly a dangerous looking person to begin with. She giggled quietly in response to the chuckle as she glanced at the wound.
  85.
  86. "Ahh, seemes to have healed up nicely...Doesn't seem to be any infection either, good!" she cheered happily, bopping up and down a little.
  87.
  88. Quite the energetic little thing... "Ahh, you don't need to thank me, i was just doing what i had to do. My name's Eshne, nice to meet you!"
  89. (Eshne Wolfe)
  90.
  91. Falco simply rubbed the back of his head and then sighed. It seems that she didn't know everything that happened that day, not that she needed to know. She seemed like a kind girl, no need to tell her all that happened that day. He then took a deep breath as he looked at the woman and then said
  92.
  93. " Eshne, huh...nice to meet you too. What brings you to Frostvale, its such a cold place and it doesn't seem like you and the cold are best friends. "
  94.
  95. He'd chuckle a bit as he looked at the woman and then back to his left had, recalling at that happened that after recieving the scar. He'd simply clench his fist for a moment before finally calming down and looking back Eshne.
  96. (Falco)
  97.
  98. Eshne looked about for a bit, taking in a deep breathe of crisp, cold air before turning back to Falco and smiling. "Well...I'm kinda new to Valmasia, haven't really left Danarium before and i wanted to explore so...I came here to look around! But...You're right it is way too cold for my tastes...barely staying warm with my Sacred flames here." She explained while rubbing at her arms to heat up.
  99.
  100. She tilted her head however as the clenched up fist caught her eye. "Something the matter? You seem err...Well, angry to say it as politely as possible." she timidly asked while keeping her fingers up to her mouth and observing the clenched fist and the scar, looking over its details once more to make sure it had healed perfectly well.
  101. (Eshne Wolfe)
  102.
  103. " Oh..."
  104.
  105. Falco's then gradually opened his arm, he would look up at the sky for a moment. Feeling the cold frostvalian winds blow past him and would look at Eshne. He would shake his head for a moment and then said
  106.
  107. " Don't worry about it, I'm known to get rather angry some times...runs in the in the family. "
  108.
  109. Falco then proceeded to walk over to the woman and kneeled a bit before gently rubbing her on the head. He would then give her a sincere smile, something that he doesn't really show these days and then said to her
  110.
  111. " Its just that this scar reminds me of a special person in my heart is all and how badly I need to repay her. That's it for the most part...."
  112.
  113.
  114. (Falco)
  115.
  116. Eshne was slightly confused, how could being in someone's family make you angry? Ah well, it was best not to dwell on that too much, seeing how Falco didn't really want Eshne to pry into his family life.
  117.
  118. "Oh...Alright."
  119.
  120. She nodded as the man approached her, bending down to her doll height and petting her on the flaming head. Although as he reached forward the flames on her head parted, allowing him to pet her unhindered. Although she did have to wonder why everyone who met her wanted to pet her like she was their daughter.
  121.
  122. "Ahh...I see, i won't pry in-Uh ohhhh..." Oh boy she forgot something. She forgot to tell Reia she had left.
  123.
  124. "Gaaah! i gotta go, Reia must be sick with worry where i am!" She shouted before going to run off, waving to Falco. "U-uhh, i'll see you around okay!?"
  125. (Eshne Wolfe)
