  1. 11-13-14
  2. This dream started out in a theater. It must have been IMAX because it was very roomy and the screen was huge. The movie we were watching ended and a new one started up. I decided that I didn’t feel like sticking around for it. I was about to get up when I saw David Tennant walking down from the theater entrance. I froze and stared at him. My mind immediately began to race. I wondered if I could be dreaming, but it didn’t feel like I was. “Wait, is that…?” I said out loud to one of my friends sitting next to me as I continued to stare.
  3. “Who?” she replied.
  4. “David Tennant?” I asked with a hint of excitement.
  5. “Yeah,” she replied with a slight smile.
  6. “That can’t be right. That must mean…”
  7. “This is a dream,” she revealed to me. She was smiling like she was waiting forever to tell me that.
  8. “No way…” I could hardly deny it though. This was a dream, and Doc was already here.
  9. I got out of my seat and made my way to where Doc was sitting and talking with other people in the theater. It was definitely him, I could faintly feel his presence when I got close, but I was wary that he might be non-lucid because his eyes were brown. I leaned over to him and whispered into his ear, “I think you should probably come with me now.” He looked up at me and gave me a mischievous smile before getting out of his seat. His eyes didn’t change color, but that didn’t mean anything at this point, he knew who I was.
  10. I grabbed his hand and pressed my fingers between his as we walked out of the theater together. The outside of the theater looked more like an office building than anything else, and it was very open and bright with the windows letting in the sun. At first, I was the one leading, but I had no idea where to go. I knew we had to go someplace private. “Take me to the nearest bathroom,” I told Doc, hoping that he knew the place better than me. It seemed like he did, because now I was the one being dragged along. I spotted the bathrooms, but that wasn’t where he was taking me. The elevator was close by, and Doc hit the button going up with his free hand. “Doc the bathrooms are over there,” I said to him while I pointed. He glanced over quickly before replying, “Oh, you don’t want those bathrooms.” It didn’t take too long for the elevator to open up on our floor. We got in, and I let go of his hand. The doors of the elevator closed, and I suddenly understood why he took me here. I whipped around to Doc and pushed him up against the wall of the elevator with a thud. I saw his eyes for a split second and noticed they had changed to blue at some point. I was just about to kiss him when he disappeared in an instant. I became frustrated and confused. “I lost him,” I muttered. I felt like punching the wall, but I was too weak to bother.
  11. A moment later, the dream switched on me, but I retained my lucidity. I didn’t figure it out at the time, but I realized that the dream must have switched on Doc as well, but a few seconds before me. I was outside of a busy Wal-Mart now. The sky was full of dark clouds, but the sun still peaked through in some areas. Since Doc wasn’t with me, I remembered that I should probably go through the plan to make sure the dream lasts longer. I rubbed my hands together, looked at them carefully, did a quick math problem, and made sure that I reminded myself I was dreaming. It felt like I had a good hold on the dream, so I started to search for Doc. I nabbed one of the dream characters passing by and asked, “Can you help me find Doc?”
  12. “Which one?” the dream character replied.
  13. The question didn’t seem to faze me, “He has blue eyes and amazing hair,” putting emphasis on the word “amazing.”
  14. “One of our Docs down at the pharmacy has blue eyes.”
  15. “Ok, thanks,” I said back to her as I walked off in the direction of the pharmacy.
  16. The pharmacy was in a separate building from the Wal-Mart. I walked in and looked around, but I didn’t see Doc anywhere. I approached one of the desks. They were busy with other people, but I didn’t care. “Excuse the brief interruption,” I said, “but I need to find…” They weren’t listening at all. The physician who had blue eyes behind the counter looked nothing like Doc.
  17. I exited the pharmacy after being ignored and walked back to the main store. There were a lot of people around, but I managed to spot someone staring at me from next to the flowerbed. I looked harder and registered that it was Eleven. I went up to him and started to feel Doc’s presence. “Doc, is that you?”
  18. “Yeah, it’s me.”
  19. “You look like Eleven.”
  20. “Yeah, I know,” he replied like I just insulted him.
  21. “Come on, let’s go somewhere more private,” I said back to him.
  22. He led the way towards the back of the building where there were no people. “Why aren’t we at school?” he asked me. I was confused by the question, but I didn’t consider he might be non-lucid, “Um, well, not every dream is a school dream. Are you ok?”
  23. “Yeah, fine. Why?”
  24. “It’s just… never mind.”
  25. We stood together around the corner of the building out of sight. “You still look like Eleven, can you change that?” I asked him.
  26. “Sure, turn around,” he said to me telepathically. I complied so I couldn’t see him. After a couple of seconds, I went to look at him again and saw that his form had changed back into Ten. I inspected his eyes, but they weren’t blue. “Your eyes are still green,” I said.
  27. “Oh, sorry,” he continued to use telepathy. I turned around and waited another moment before looking again. “How about now?” he prompted.
  28. I turned around once more to see him. I took his head into my hands and stared into his eyes. “Perfect. Beautiful blue,” I said. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me. I hugged him above his shoulders, feeling the back of his neck with my hand. I held him tighter, wanting to get a sense of how solid he was to me in the dream, and he tightened his embrace as well. We let go, and Doc started walking towards the pharmacy. When I started to follow him, I looked up from the ground to see his back and almost jumped. “Wings! You have wings!” I yelled excitedly. He looked back at me and gave me a faint smirk before he continued to walk. I was absolutely ecstatic, I had never seen him with wings in a dream this clearly before. He went into the pharmacy, and I swiftly followed. The pharmacy was completely void of people now, but I was too thrilled by his wings to think of anything else. “Fly!” I squealed at him. He spread his wings and gave them a flap, but they were smaller than usual and didn’t keep him up. “Oh well,” I thought to myself. Suddenly, they fell off of him. It wasn’t horrific or anything, they suddenly turned fake and detached themselves from his back. I was disappointed. I kind of wanted to fly around with Doc, but there will come another time for that. In a way, I think Doc’s wings turning fake was almost symbolic for how they aren’t really a part of him yet.
  29. I was about to return my attention to Doc and maybe have a little fun with him, but a few angry dream characters came banging on the door. They did not look friendly at all. I quickly went to as many doors as I could around the pharmacy and started locking them up. I was about half way done when one of the dream characters shoved their vicious dog through a barred entrance just big enough for it to fit through. The dog ran at me at full speed, barking and snarling. I was about to kick it when it leaped at me and the dream ended before anything happened. My heart was beating too fast.
